Very good food, ambience ok, service a bit messy - you should check carefully what is being charged. Vouchers are regularly forgotten to be taken into account.

Reviewed January 2024 Unfortunately, a lot of things have changed for the worse in just a few months :( Before you had the feeling you were entering a restaurant in Italy. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. There has probably been a change of ownership. The pizza and pasta taste okay but the heart of the kitchen is no longer there in terms of taste. Italian music is no longer played and the coffee no longer tastes as good. Even the delicious “homemade lemonade” is now a loveless peach iced tea.

Waitress chewing gum in front of everyone, sitting on chairs near customer tables, not saying “hello” or even saying “enjoy” is disrespectful. She can't stand for 5 minutes before she has to sit down at the tables near us. The pizza is too oily, but otherwise everything is fine, the prices are right.

I recently ate at Nonno and although the ambience and food were fine, the service left a lot to be desired. Our experience was marred by inattentive and overly pushy service from one of the waitresses, a large woman who was clearly struggling with her role. Even though we politely asked for some time to decide our order, she came back to our table every two minutes, making us feel rushed and uncomfortable. When our food and drinks finally arrived, it became clear that she was not well trained. She seemed disorganized, forgot things, and did not provide the basic level of service one would expect. Unfortunately, their lack of competence significantly marred our entire dining experience. I hope management invests in better training of their staff as this level of service does not encourage repeat visits

Very cozy & newly discovered today! Pizza Margherita was too cheesy (mozzarella) for us, pizza was very filling. A plus for the stone oven pizza🍕. A plus for the ambience. One minus for service: waitress unfriendly; The service can therefore still be worked on... All in all OK!

Very good pizza.. The only thing I didn't appreciate was seeing the waiter perform two roles due to the lack of staff.. You can't stay both at the counter and in the room, running left and right, it's not correct, assume one more person!!

The first time in Calma Caos, the service was very polite and nice. I decided on pasta bolognese which is prepared according to grandma's dish. The pasta was perfect, al dente and the minced meat was fresh, and I had a passion fruit spritzer, and for dessert, homemade tiramisu with fresh chocolate and strawberries, and there are always 5 freshly prepared ones, which you can really taste. In all, I am satisfied and easy to reach in the city center, including the subway. There are also pizzas, salads, antipasti and pasta I give it a 5/5.

I was able to eat pizza with a friend for the first time outside of our hometown. Luckily we chose this restaurant, it was perfect.

Quick service, delicious and nice cozy place. Recommend pasta aglio e olio and the vegetarian salad( insalata verde) The burrata was fresh, milky, creamy.

I'm Italian and I just love the pizza that the pizzaiolo makes here! The base is thin and perfect, the tomato sauce is fresh and delicious and the mozzarella is real mozzarella and not pizza cheese! I really enjoy going there to eat with friends and family! The staff is very nice and you can also sit outside very comfortably. My children love Nutella pizza as a dessert because they know it from Italy. Of course we all like to eat it. 😅

I ate there yesterday with my daughter. I can only warmly recommend eating there. Pasta is great, salads are great. The service is A1. I missed a dish on the menu, but I didn't dare say anything. The prices are acceptable .I will recommend you.

The portion of the food was huge, for a pizza with around 11-12 eur the price if value was good. The food itself was alright.

In terms of price-performance ratio, it is by no means worth it! The portions are small and the service is also rather poor. Furthermore, this is not an Italian restaurant at all, unless you want to try Indian pizzas and pastas, there is just no Italian in the kitchen! In terms of taste, it doesn't taste particularly good either, more like meh. I would rather recommend the not-so-stunning Burger King next door!

I rate strictly as always: - Great pizza. One of the best I know. - The service is great and courteous. - The location is nothing special. Hence simple ambience.

Cute little pizzeria with nice outdoor seating. We ordered a salad and a pizza. The food came super quickly and was super tasty. The pizza is baked in a wood-fired oven and the base was nice and crispy. All pizzas cost around €11. The salad was sufficient and also tasted good. Service was friendly and took orders fairly quickly. As it got busier you had to wait a little longer, but we would still definitely recommend the pizzeria.

Iced tea is tasty but relatively sweet. The staff are all very friendly, the pizza tastes good and the pasta is also impressive. There is also a high chair for children, but it is more for children who no longer need a middle section between their legs.

Definitely a 5 star recommendation from me! Super tasty and fair prices (almost cheap for the location), large portions and very nice service. When the weather is nice (or with a dog, for example) you can sit outside. The card is not too overloaded and is sufficient. The only drawback would be the toilets. These are “in the basement” and therefore not handicapped accessible. Unfortunately there is no changing facility. But that didn't affect us and so it remains 5 stars for us.

This was the best pizza I've ever eaten. Lots of toppings, large and the dough was very crispy. The ambience is something completely different and has something special, especially that you can practically look into the kitchen and watch your pizza in the oven.

One of the best pizza I've ever ate.

The food is consistently delicious; I've visited many times with friends and family. The takeaway pizza is also a standout. An added bonus is how central the location is.

The VEGETARIANA pizza was super tasty, generously topped with vegetables and well seasoned. The service was very attentive and courteous. We were there in the evening and the music was quite loud, with the background noise it was sometimes difficult to have a conversation. Otherwise everything was great, price performance for the location was also very good. With voucher 2 for 1 top

I really can't say much except that this pizza was by far the best I've had in ages. I had the pizza with Parma ham. Incredibly delicious. Ambience also very nice, not too loud. You could have a good conversation. Service was top. I'll definitely come back. Worth every penny.

I've been here several times and I have to say that it's unbelievable the quality you get for the price. You spend 10 euros and get a pizza like in southern Italy. Cool!

If Italians in Frankfurt, then this one! Had pasta because the wood oven was broken. But the food was so delicious and the service was great.

I recommend this pizzeria 100%. We ordered a Bufalina and a Quatro Formaggi, and both were ultra delicious: the bread is a slightly crunchy outside and soft inside, all the ingredients tasted fresh and are good quality. The service is friendly and incredibly fast, in less than five minutes they brought our order.

Up to now you have always been able to have an authentic Italian experience at Calma. There was Italian music playing and the staff were very enthusiastic and welcoming. However, there appears to have been a change of ownership. As a result, the atmosphere is now fairly sterile. The pizza is ok and the staff are very friendly. But the experience is simply no longer authentic, so only one star for the ambience. Very unfortunate.

Service and food quality has deteriorated extremely compared to after the reopening. The climate has completely changed, for example the music was played from the cell phone, it used to be very nicely decorated, I also liked the neon lights. Today they can no longer be seen and are generally far too bright. Never again.

Si bien el restaurante prepara pastas y pizzas, no es para nada italiano. La comida es excesivamente picante (la pizza blanqueaba de pimienta) y nadie nos avisó que la comida era picante. No tienen la carta en inglés, lo cual me llamó muchìsimo la atención porque el restaurante está en un área que tiene muchísimos turistas internacionales. Cuando pedí la carta en inglés, la persona que nos atendía nos tradujo el menù en inglés con bastante desgano sin aclarar que la comida era muy picante. Los precios no eran baratos. Recomiendo el lugar? Yyyyy...hay lugares mejores en zona.

Essen war lecker und schnell da. Es war recht voll und die Tische waren teils "interessant" gestellt. Service zu Beginn vollkommen in Ordnung. Jedoch wurden wir nie nach einem weiteren Getränk gefragt obwohl wir alle lange ausgetrunken hatten. Und das Essen hätte auch bis zum Ende auf dem Tisch gestanden, wenn wir nicht gefragt hätten ob sie es einpacken können. (Auch als es gegen Ende leerer wurde und sie in einer Tour an uns vorbeigelaufen sind)

Richtig gute neapolitanische Pizza! Hier kommen nur die besten Zutaten auf die Pizza und das merkt man auch. Die Preise sind dafür lächerlich niedrig. Glatte 10 von 10 und eine absolute Empfehlung für Pizzaliebhaber.

Spontan entschieden und wurden geschmacklich nicht enttäuscht. Empfang sehr freundlich und zu viert gleich einen Tisch bekommen. Essen nix auszusetzen! Kellner sehr aufmerksam. Ambiente ok, allerdings Musik könnte im Hintergrund laufen, dann müsste man sein Gegenüber nicht so anschreien, normal unterhalten ging leider nicht. Gang zur Toilette gewöhnungsbedürftig, trotzdem Toilette sehr sauber angetroffen. Spontan 1 Monat später nochmals da gewesen... Empfang wieder sehr freundlich und Essen wieder hervorragend 👍

Die Pizza war geschmacklich in Ordnung, der Boden in der Mitte leider nicht ganz durch. Die Eingangstür ging nicht von alleine zu und manche Gäste haben sie nicht richtig geschlossen. Dadurch kam ständig kam kalte Luft rein, das kann definitiv verbessert werden. Der Service war okay.

Wir waren heute bei Calma Essen. Service von Alessio war 1A super Sympathisch. Die Bestellung (Nudeln+Pizza) war Ruck Zuck da. Auch Geschmacklich sehr gut. Preis Leistung völlig Ok.Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen es weiter 🤌🏻

Whilst in Frankfurt we discovered Calma Caos Pizzeria. They have outdoor seating and some indoor seating too. We did a quick look on Tripadvisor and they seemed to get excellent reviews. It was fairly quiet. The waiter greeted us in Italian and took our order. He didn't speak much English but we managed to get by. The service was really quick - less than 10 minutes for a Pizza and Spaghetti Bolognese to be served. The food was hot, substantial and tasty. After finishing our meal we went to the bar to pay. They only had a contactless machine so I tapped my card to the reader. It showed "Erfolgreich". The waiter told me that my payment had not gone through and asked for cash. I asked to try again. Once again the terminal showed "Erfolgreich" - the waiter asked for cash Concerned that something was wrong with my card I tried another. Once again the terminal showed "Erfolgreich" and the waiter asked for cash As I didn't have that much cash on me I tried a third card. "Erfolgreich" was the display on the terminal. The waiter pointed down the road and told me go and get cash. I left my wife there and withdrew some money. On the way back to the restaurant my phone "pinged" to say that I had successfully made a payment to the restaurant. I checked the apps for my other cards. All showed pending transactions for the correct amount at this restaurant. When I got back my wife said she had Googled "Erfolgreich" and it means succesful! I challenged the waiter - who got his manager. They apologised and refunded three transactions in cash. How can a waiter (who I assume is taking card payments several times a day) not know what "Erfolgreich" means?? It was only later that I realised that the Calma Caos already Tripadvisor is for another location in Frankfurt
