Super delicious pizza and pasta, very friendly service, and short wait times. Highly recommended! 🍕🍝

Unfortunately, the service was terrible. The quality of the food was also only half-decent. Card payments weren't accepted, which should have been mentioned beforehand (it wasn't stated anywhere). We wouldn't recommend it, and this was the first and last email here.

Unfortunately, it's not as good as it used to be. The owner seems to have changed. The pizza is tasteless. Also, the service is very poor. The employees eat with their hands at the table next to them. Hygiene needs improvement. Furthermore, vouchers from the "B-My app" are not accepted for flimsy reasons. They lure people into the store with vouchers, but then don't accept them. Not recommended!

Great pizza. Very delicious. Portions were great for the price. Drinks were good and service was prompt and courteous. A nice standout in the multiple places to find pizza in Frankfurt.

The food is been amazing, we got an extra cheese for free for pizza and sweet cookie for green tea. The service and atmosphere inside is perfect and very kind and calm. Separate we wish to say Thank you for waiter Omid for fast and professional service. We’ve strongly recommended Nonno Pizzeria for everyone 🤙👍. It’s really deserve it.

Excellent pizza for 2 evenings we had dinner at this restaurant, a pizza this good with excellent ingredients from Italy is difficult to find even in many Italian pizzerias, excellent bill.

The ambiance was good and the staff very friendly. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best. The lasagna consisted of nothing but cheese and what felt like no sauce, and the tagliatelle with prawns and wine sauce was more like aglio e olio.

The food tasted really good, but unfortunately, the service was very poor. The waiter, a blond young man, was unfriendly and answered every question I asked in a sarcastic manner. Furthermore, there was an unpleasant sewage odor from the terrace area, which severely spoiled our appetite and the entire experience. It's a shame, because the food itself was excellent.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this restaurant. I ordered pesto verde, but it had nothing to do with pesto; it was simply too watery, and it felt like you were eating pasta with salt and Parmesan. I also had to pay for the food, which was of poor quality.

A must-try when visiting Frankfurt! The pizza is incredibly delicious. The best ever. High-quality ingredients, not from a can, simply an explosion of flavor. It's a cozy place, with lovely background music and very friendly staff.

The 2cl limoncello is very strong. I threw up and am slightly tipsy. That's why I left my phone at Rewe. The pizzas are fantastic, and the bruschetta is the best bruschetta I've ever had 😃

The food (we had pasta dishes) was good, and the portion sizes were decent. I can recommend it with a clear conscience. I think the price is on the upper end of what's acceptable. The ambiance is average; you can also sit outside. The service was friendly and attentive.

We wanted a delicious pizza, but unfortunately, the pizzas were very salty and dry. We were surprised how this restaurant got such good reviews. It was also very noisy because of the neighboring café. It's not possible to sit there in peace with your family. The only positive thing: the servers were very friendly.

I waited 10 minutes, nobody came. Then I asked to the waiter to order, I asked for an extra and then the waiter went away 'to ask if they can do that'. The same waiter started to serve beers to another table, in addition there were other two waiters who weren't doing anything. That's not the way to treat a customer

The server was very nice and attentive. The food was also delicious, the portions were large, and the prices were reasonable. We had the pasta with pesto and the gnocchi with tomato sauce. At the end, we even got two free coffees, which was super nice. We will definitely come back!

My wife and I witnessed the degrading and humiliating treatment the staff gave the waiters. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in any establishment and is simply disgraceful. Without your waiters, you would be nothing. Just think about it!

I rarely write reviews, but this place truly deserves a warning to others. From the moment we walked in, the customer service was atrocious. A man around 50, who seemed to be the host or manager at the front, was extremely cold and unwelcoming. He insisted on seating us at the worst possible table, right by the entrance, despite the restaurant being half-empty. It wasn't until we told him we were about to leave that he reluctantly offered another option. Unfortunately, things didn’t improve. Our waitress was shockingly rude and dismissive throughout the evening. To make matters worse, she walked between tables coughing openly without even attempting to cover her mouth — completely unhygienic and unacceptable, especially in a hospitality setting. There was absolutely no sense of professionalism. The whole atmosphere felt like they were just trying to make a quick buck without any care for the customer’s experience. We left feeling like we had just been part of some poorly run operation, not a proper restaurant. Do yourself a favor and eat literally anywhere else!

The food itself tasted good but the way the boss treated her colleague was extremely unacceptable.

Everything was perfect! We came here because of the reviews and were not disappointed. Honest, good pizza, great service.

The pizza was okay, relatively tasteless, and a bit overpriced. The "homemade" tiramisu was inedible and most likely frozen and thawed. The service was amateurish. Our drinks were simply forgotten, and we had to remind them again. In the end, the iced tea was the best part of our visit.

Best pizza place. Absolutely delicious pizza and patata, and the salad was great too. We were in Frankfurt for four days and went to Nonno's three times.

We had a delicious meal here on Friday and Saturday. Pizza was tasty (Friday) and pasta was good too (Saturday). Both were nice and hot in terms of temperature. I like. The pizza and pasta both had a nice spicy taste. We were very late on Saturday. Warmly received. And we also got a coffee on the house, even though they had already cleaned the machine. Very simple. Atmosphere 4 stars. The music is quite loud with a strong beat. Otherwise nice thing.

The pizza tastes great! We have been here several times, but this time the service was unfortunately overwhelmed, hence only 3 stars. The music was clearly too loud.

They had a racist attitude, they never attended to me, they didn't even look at me. It could have been a great meal but it is terrible service for tourists.

They threatened us with racist attitude when we asked for food to take away. Plus, they made us wait to take our order when they served others before us. It was the worst experience I've had in Europe in so many years.

We had a pizza and an Italian salad. Both were super tasty. Pizza was very reminiscent of Italy. The salad had a very tasty basal mico dressing. The service staff is very friendly. Price-performance ratio is okay for Frankfurt. The ambience is very simple.

The pizza was good, no question. But overall no better/worse than other pizzas from such an oven. The service bothered me: it doesn't always have to be super friendly, but I think it's important to be attentive and courteous. When the neighboring table asked, we responded with snappy answers and our payment process was also dragged out with a moral sermon. The ambience was rather wildly thrown together and the crates of drinks were piled up everywhere. Doesn't have to be.

Where should I start? - The waiters are just amateurs and cannot behave professionally - Pizza Tonno was soggy and not edible - sometimes a long waiting time, sometimes you are completely forgotten while other guests who ordered before us have already received their food... - Cutlery was dirty, that's not possible!!!

The pizza was delicious and had a great price/performance ratio. The mixed antipasti platter could use a bit more flair. The ambience is very simple, but shouldn't put you off coming here. The service was quick and friendly.

Unfortunately the noodles were a bit too hard for me. The portion was sufficient. The service employee felt like he had the wrong focus and distributed candles on the tables instead of serving the customers. Unfortunately he walked past several times even though you wanted to pay. I found the cappuccino/espresso on the house at the end to be rather unpleasant.

U can expect the Stone oven quality The service was fine, waiter is quite attentive and friendly Vibes is a bit off, more like a quick fast food vibe instead of restaurant vibe, but the pizza price is a bit high give that, it's almost like A Italian restaurant price. We had 2 pizzas which were basically ok. Well topped but nothing special in terms of taste. Unfortunately the service was subpar. We came in and the staff was on Facetime or on their cell phones. To order I had to go back to the front and the menus were handed to me. In addition, the food came before the drinks and in the 3 hours we were there the plates weren't cleared away and we weren't even asked if we wanted something more to drink. Unfortunately it also smelled very much like chlorine. Redeeming the BMy voucher was no problem. But I won't be visiting there again.

Nonno is right at the beginning of Schillerstrasse. We stopped there on a spur of the moment and didn't regret it. The pasta was super tasty and the large dishes at the neighboring tables also looked very tasty.

Pasta is ok. But not really tasty. Stuff is friendly, but I wonder if it is only because I am young single woman. Atmosphere is 40/100. Don’t like the food smell in a restaurant.

First of all: if I had to rate just the pizza, it would be five stars. This was really tasty, reasonably priced, well topped and a good size. The atmosphere is certainly a matter of taste, I personally wasn't impressed by the minimalist flair. However, the view of the open kitchen with the large pizza oven at the back of the restaurant is inviting. Now to the reason why I'm only giving this three stars and won't be coming back: we had two vouchers for "2 for 1 pizza, pasta or salad" via an app and wanted to redeem these two vouchers with four people - that was one of the things Reason to choose this restaurant for the evening. This worked after a short discussion with the waiter, who said he could only redeem one coupon per table. In addition to a bottle of wine and other drinks, we also ordered bruschetta as a starter. I found four slices of white bread with a bit of tomato, rocket and balsamic cream (see photo) for €8 relatively expensive, especially compared to the pizza, but it was okay. The real kicker came with the bill: instead of the four pizzas for the price of two, the bruschetta (which, despite the high price, was cheaper than the pizzas, which were between €13 and €16) was deducted. After all, it is salad and therefore falls under the voucher. When I kindly but firmly pointed out that the coupon clearly said "two for one pizza" and not "two for one the cheapest meal is taken off the bill", the waiter just said that he couldn't do anything about it, that bruschetta was a salad and would thus falling under the coupon. He didn't care about my objection that we hadn't ordered an appetizer at all, he probably forgot to say that when ordering. When I asked if I could speak to someone who had more responsibility than him that evening, he said no, because everyone in the store had the same position and there was simply nothing he could do. Bruscheta is a salad and therefore it falls under the voucher, end. I would like to emphasize that I am not concerned with a few euros more or less, but rather with the principle and the way in which new customers are treated here. Incidentally, a colleague of his overheard the discussion and, after a brief explanation of the situation, was not only able to pay me the difference of €6.50 in cash, but also gave me a round of limoncello on the house as an apology. “The colleague is new.” - new or not, even if I don't really believe this statement, I found the waiter's rude statements simply inappropriate. We've actually had a pretty nice evening up to this point, but it leaves a very negative aftertaste when the evening ends like this. Especially because of €6.50. For the four of us, this was the first and last visit to this pizzeria in Frankfurt. There are simply too many good alternatives for which I would gladly pay the full price for two pizzas from the start.

I really enjoy going to Nonno Pizza & Pasta (formerly Calma Chaos), especially for the pizza! 🍕 Here are my reasons: ✨ Pizza: The pizza baked in the stone oven tastes excellent and offers a fair price-performance ratio. 🍝 Pasta: The pasta dishes are also very tasty, although the portions could be a little larger. 🥗 Salads: Always fresh! My tip: Order the salad without dressing and put vinegar and oil on it directly at the table. Personally, the restaurant's balsamic dressing is a little too sweet for me (probably because of the balsamic cream). ☕ Espresso: Really good espresso (portafilter). 💳 Payment options: You can easily pay by card - even with AMEX! Service: The team is always friendly and attentive. 👏 💡 My tip for guests: In the cold months I would recommend a table at the back of the restaurant, as it can get a bit drafty through the front door. 💡 My suggestion to the restaurant: Maybe make the balsamic dressing a little less sweet - other guests might like that too. Overall, a clear recommendation for anyone who loves fresh pizza and pasta! 🥰

Good pizza on Schillerstrasse in the city center.

We ended up here by chance and had a really delicious pizza here for a long time. Crispy, spicy, like in Italy. We were all thrilled.

We were there for lunch and we really enjoyed it and enjoyed it. Since we aren't from Frankfurt, I searched for restaurants on Google and came up with this. Friendly staff and the food was sensationally delicious. I haven't eaten such good pizza in a long time. Great dough and the lasagne was also very good. 😊👍 If we ever end up in Frankfurt again, we will definitely come back.

The food were very tasty, we ordered pasta and pizza. They were very delicious. It was not crowded because we went around 1:30 pm. Staffs were friendly and spoke english. Highly recommended

I often eat in this restaurant, nothing special in itself - the pasta tastes good. However, I have to honestly admit: In my opinion, the waiter has apparently never seen a woman with breasts and unfortunately that's the case every time. You can't even eat in peace because you're constantly being stared at, even though you're dressed completely normally . This just means that I don't come over anymore because it's just extremely annoying. Thanks
