California Sushi in Aachen

Delicious sushi at fair prices! We were there for lunch and were not disappointed. The “chef” was super nice and served us at the table since the service staff was unavailable that day. The sushi we prepared was very tasty, and we particularly liked the tempura prawns as a starter. But the Dragon Rolls are also recommended. There were also 4 extra rolls. Thank you for that! I would go to this place again at any time. Everything was great all around 👍 keep it up.

Excellent sushi - freshly prepared in front of you, of course - at an acceptable price. We had dumplings and crispy chicken as starters and a large California sushi plate each. A very friendly service. The restaurant is not big - more of a sit-down restaurant, but we felt very comfortable. Thank you.

Inside it's "just" a small snack bar, but the food is great at a very fair price and the service is super nice. We sincerely apologized for any minor inconveniences and at the end we got a few extra sushis on the house. Absolute recommendation! :)

The service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I can only recommend this café – a real treat for sushi lovers!

Ramen Chicken miso soup with no real chicken, instead fried dough with chicken skin. We ordered rolls with baked eel, but in fact they got them with fish skin. I attach a photo. The Maki were delicious, everything was ok.

From the outside the place looks unremarkable and you might not expect it to be good at first glance. But it was my first time eating there and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh, tasty and cheap too. It's just a shame that the ambience could be better.

I was positively surprised by Gyoza, the feeling was juicy and the outside crunchy, also a fair portion. There is a great variety of sushi and I like their take on Californian rolls. I'll be back for the Tiger special with the flammed salmon. Friendly staff and good location, definitely will revisit.

A very nice little sushi restaurant. Everything tasted delicious and was simply great in terms of value for money (we were prepared to pay more). The quality is excellent. The service and the boss are super nice, fast and friendly. When we were there on Saturday, the restaurant was completely booked - a reservation is recommended. P.s.: I've been there three times and found the food excellent every time. It is still a clear and unequivocal recommendation. It's worth making a reservation, even on working days, as it's very small.

Whenever I visit Aachen from Hamburg, my first stop is California Sushi. Always nice and friendly and of course super delicious. I can only recommend it to everyone.

This small restaurant offers everything your sushi heart desires. The chef puts his heart and soul into it and even on busy days, like when I visited, he has time to make a little small talk with the guests present. The food was incredibly tasty and was delivered quickly. I'll definitely come back to Aachen for this restaurant!

A small but beautiful restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Because it is not directly facing the market square, but rather in a side street, it is super quiet and very pleasant. Very calm, relaxing and quiet music plays in the background the entire time. The service was great and the owners were super friendly. The food was very nicely prepared and super tasty!

Best sushi in Aachen. We always put our records together ourselves. This way you get what you like the most. The boss loves his sushi and you can taste it too. In addition, with his practiced skills, the preparation is really quick, so you can get your delicacies on the table in no time. In terms of price it is also absolutely great. So far we have always paid less than €50 for drinks for two people and were completely full and happy afterwards.

When the sushi is as good as it is, the ambience is negligible! Great sushi nice boss! It's a pleasure!!

My granddaughter and I visited the restaurant for the second time today and are just as thrilled as the first time. Not only is the small restaurant very nicely decorated, making you feel comfortable, but the service there is also super friendly and very accommodating. We can only recommend the food, everything freshly prepared by the chef and beautifully presented, it is simply delicious. We agree, this is our sushi restaurant and when we are in Aachen again, we will definitely come back.

Small but nice! After our favorite sushi in Aachen unfortunately had to close, we were always looking for a comparable shop that could offer us the same taste and quality! Now after three visits we can still say… we are convinced! The sushi is really amazing, you can watch it being freshly prepared and the prices are simply unbeatable. The appetizers are also very tasty! The shop is quite small, but very nicely decorated. We always enjoy coming back and I look forward to the next visit!

It's a good restaurant with friendly and polite colleagues. I've never eaten sushi in my life. I really hate sushi. I was here once and tried it. It is very tasty. I always want to come over and eat sushi. Every day after work I want to come over and eat sushi but I don't have time.

I've never had such bad stomach problems from eating as I did here. Everything tasted good, but it came out badly after 20 minutes. We were also served late in the evening by a little girl who was no older than 12.

I just want to say that the chef is very nice, the food is delicious and the waiters are nice and most of all the environment is clean and the food is fresh. If you ask me where we can find a delicious sushi, I suggest here.

Once again we were overcharged. Despite the fact that we asked them about it. The prices on the menu do not match what they charge in the checkout. Last time we were charged €10 too much and today it was €9.90 too much. The price we calculated as it was on the card + 19% resulted in the amount they charged us. Be careful not to get taken for a ride too. They are not allowed to calculate the final price from the card + 19% and debit it from us. . impudence. And they always give away 2-4 sushi rolls, but they have just been accounted for. So it's really cheeky.

Small shop with 3 tables for two and 3 tables for four in the city center of Aachen. It is therefore better to reserve a table, which can easily be done via Google maps, by phone or via chat. The menu is also available for download on the homepage. The selection of sushi was quite large and varied. The food itself was delicious and the sushi rolls were comparatively large. The service was courteous and the food was served quickly. If we ever find ourselves in Aachen again, we'll definitely stop by again!

Long waiting time, no homemade or alcoholic drinks, Take-away orders are preferred therefore the waiting time for customers sitting at the table will be extended

Wirklich sehr hohe Qualität der Sushi und sehr freundliches Team. Die Maki sind vergleichsweise klein (Durchmesser), aber sehr gut. Mein neuer Favorit für Sushi im Zentrum.

Well located. Affordable sushis. Well served

Mit das beste Sushi was ich je gegessen habe. Frisch zubereitet, hübsch angerichtet und unfassbar lecker. Dazu unschlagbare Preise. Lediglich das Ambiente ist ein wenig einengend und "kalt", aber das ist ja ebenfalls Geschmackssache. Wenn ich nochmal nach Aachen komme, dann würde ich ausschließlich dort nochmal essen wollen.

Das Sushi ist wirklich sehr gut bei vernünftiger Auswahlmöglichkeit. Auch die Variante nur 4 Stück nehmen so können, um mehrere Sushi probieren zu können, ist sehr charmant. Ich fande allerdings etwas säuerlicher gewürzt, als mein persönlicher Geschmack ist, aber darüber lässt sich ja zum Glück streiten. Nicht gut war allerdings, dass die Eingangstür überhaupt nicht dicht ist. Die Gäste am den Tischen nah zur Tür saßen dort alle mit Jacke, weil es so sehr gezogen hat.

Online nach dem Menü geschaut und sich für das Party Mix entschieden mit 46 Teilen. Online sogar per Chat nachgefragt ob man dieses bestellen könne und in einer Stunde abhole. Es wurde gesagt wäre kein Problem. Von Eschweiler nach Aachen gefahren um es abzuholen. Vor Ort wurde gesagt Nein sowas haben wir nicht. Wieso sind dann Sachen im Menü aufgeführt?

Found this place randomly & fell in love! The chef is so sweet & very generous. The food is delicious (price quality is great). I recommend trying the California Sushi Set.

Hammer geiles Sushi, ultra lecker. Das ist das leckerste Sushi in Deutschland was ich bis jetzt probiert hab. Sehr frisch und schmackhaft. Der Lachs ist super und der Frischkäse auch. Das ist der einzige Laden der genug frischkäse benutzt, das sollten sich viele andere angucken! Trockenes Sushi gibt's genug. Wer saftiges Sushi will sollte auf jeden Fall vorbeischauen! Schade, dass der Laden so weit weg ist, ich würde sonst öfters vorbeikommen. PS: Preise sind auch Klasse! Weiter so !!!

Kleiner unscheinbarer Laden, jedoch schmeckt das Sushi sehr gut und der Service ist auch gut. Insgesamt kann man sagen, dass das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gut ist und wenn man in Aachen Sushi essen will, ist dies einer der besten Orte dafür.
