The best Asian restaurant in Aachen. The sushi and curries are absolutely delicious 🤩 Even when the restaurant is full, the staff is very friendly! 💯

The food is delicious, but the wait time is absolutely unacceptable. Waiting over 45 minutes for just six maki rolls is simply unacceptable.

The food at this sushi restaurant is truly good and high-quality. Unfortunately, the service is terrible. To eat, and to order a drink, you have to get up to ask for something, and they don't even look your way, so raising your hand is pointless. This was on a quiet weeknight; only three tables were occupied, so that wasn't the problem. They're too busy taking orders, so they're causing problems for the people in the restaurant. Also, the door can NEVER be closed, even in winter it's left ajar for ventilation, leaving customers cold. In the 10 years I've been going there, this is the single biggest reason I dislike going. But it's the delicious sushi, ever.

We were just there, it was a disaster, anything but fresh! Never again!

Unfortunately, it was cold, a few things were missing, and the sushi wasn't rolled properly – it looked like it hadn't been prepared with any care. It's a shame; I won't order from there again. It was unappetizing and didn't look like sushi at all. Very disappointing.

Very disappointing. The satay chicken was completely missing the peanut sauce. After three phone calls, I was treated rudely each time. The sauce finally arrived after about 1 hour and 40 minutes – absolutely unacceptable. The food itself was also disappointing. It tasted unpleasant, almost as if the person who prepared it had just smoked a cigarette. The peanut sauce that was finally delivered was tasteless and practically tasted of nothing. Overall, a very bad experience. No thanks, never again.

Sorry, but if I'm spending that much money on food, I expect the mangoes to be more than rocks. I just wasted €4.50 on rock-hard maki. Ate one, threw the rest away… I've eaten sushi at so many places by now, and the money you spend here is really just for the name. The sushi and noodles taste exactly the same as in other restaurants where the dishes are €1-2 cheaper and the mangoes are at least soft. And at other places, you get two yakitori skewers. Here, you only get one for that price. Nevertheless, the staff are very friendly!

The delivery took a full two hours, and when the food finally arrived, it was cold, which was very disappointing! It's a shame, because the sushi itself was actually really delicious and of good quality.

While exploring Aachen with a friend, we popped into a sushi place across from Karlsgraben bus station. We ordered spring rolls to start and shared a crunchy salmon inside-out roll and an ebi tempura roll. The taste was really good, but the presentation let it down: the rolls were unstable and fell apart under the chopsticks, which spoiled the otherwise great meal.

Lemongrass is an absolute favorite of mine in Aachen. The food is incredibly delicious, especially the sushi – definitely a 10 out of 10. The drinks are also super fresh and taste fantastic. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always in a good mood, which makes the visit even more enjoyable. Overall, a great restaurant with high quality and a really lovely atmosphere. Definitely highly recommended! ☺️

When I ordered, I was told delivery would take between one hour and one hour and fifteen minutes. After my third call and two and a half hours (!!), the food arrived cold. Despite my complaint, I was charged the full price. This is absolutely outrageous. Mistakes can happen, but then you have to acknowledge them and apologize.

That was the best sushi I've ever eaten in my 20 years!!! Awesome.

This is my first time tasting sushi at Aachen and it didn’t disappoint at all. The service was fantastic and the staff was amazing. The sushi was great, and I could say that the whole day. Highly recommended and would love to come back and try more sushi from this place.

The wonton soup was a bit peppery, but otherwise delicious. The sushi 🍣 is recommended. The ambiance could be improved :)

So to summarize my order: I order by phone so you don't make a loss with Lieferando. The first call is hung up, it can happen. On the second call, I order sushi with salmon and also cucumber sushi. What arrives is sashimi with carrots. I call and ask if my order was taken incorrectly. Then I am blamed. I don't know if, if I order sushi and the sashimi arrives and I ask why there is no rice under my fish, the right response is to claim that I was told that sashimi is small pieces of fish, and then I even pay more than on Lieferando, and I am told that I was informed of this. Which is not true and is a blatant lie. With all due respect, if we talked past each other, mistakes happen and are human. But sushi is sushi. And that was very rude. An "sorry" would have been enough.

I ordered Lemongrass food for delivery. I specifically called two hours in advance and asked if they could make it at the specified time. They told me it could be +/- 10 minutes. The food ultimately arrived 40 minutes late. I understand that the restaurant is busy, but if you take that many orders, you should be able to deliver it on time. The food was okay, but it didn't blow me away, so I'm giving it 3 stars.

Order never delivered. Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with Lemongrass. I ordered on a Sunday at 6:00 PM for 7:00 PM (suggested time). The store is 400 meters away. I called at 7:15 PM and politely inquired -> "The order is on its way." I called again at 8:00 PM and politely inquired -> "The drivers are currently very busy, there's nothing we can do. Call again in 20 minutes when the food isn't there." After further unsuccessful attempts to contact them, I gave up. The food never arrived. If they are at capacity on Sundays, please stop accepting orders.

I won't be eating here again. First, the customer who arrived 40 minutes after us gets our order. Then we're told that our food will be made quickly. After 30 minutes, the other customer gets their 'real' food. Such a disgrace, honestly. We waited over an hour for the food, and then the other customer gets both our order and theirs. Very slow and unfocused staff. Never seen such disastrous service.

We ordered, and the sushi and spring rolls were very good. The portions were a good size, and there was plenty of wasabi and ginger. The fried tofu was a bit bland. Nevertheless, we were very satisfied!

My favorite sushi has always been here. I now order sushi from somewhere else. Unfortunately, the quality has deteriorated somewhat. The sushi isn't as good anymore, and it's rolled tightly, so it always falls apart when you eat it with chopsticks. Apparently, the sushi-making staff are new and just haven't quite got the hang of it yet. All the other dishes are still delicious and good.

It was okay, not really recommended locally, but the food itself was tasty, only the vegetables were too soaked in the sweet sauce.

The service in this "restaurant" is wonderful, the food is a solid 10/10, and the lunch specials are also wonderful. It's easy to have a great conversation with the chef.

The food was excellent as always, but the wait that day was extreme. Just the time it took to take our order. And not all the tables were occupied. As is common in restaurants, prices have risen considerably here as well. A cheap box of pasta to go is probably out of the question. What a shame.

I was there yesterday and was so disappointed. Booked a table for 5 people. We were crammed together at a table right by the entrance. The table was sticky and wobbly. We ordered food and drinks. The beer (bottle) had to be ordered a second time because it was forgotten. Unordered food was served twice. The place was completely overcrowded and incredibly loud. The rest of the food was a 6 out of 10. The service was poor, some of the dishes were chipped. And then we only paid for it with cash. We won't be returning. Sorry!

Fresh, delicious, and made with love! I got a falafel bowl to go from Lemongrass Aachen. It was super delicious, fresh, and perfectly seasoned! The whole concept is great. Even though I ordered takeout this time, the restaurant itself is very inviting, modern, clean, and has a friendly atmosphere. The staff is warm and helpful. You can tell they value quality and sustainability. Highly recommended. I'll definitely be back!

We had a lovely time at Lemongrass Aachen. We were helped quickly and friendly. Even though a big group was also in, we still got served really quickly and even my awkward unclear question about a specific sushi was answered friendly. Would 100% recommend!

We went to Lemongrass again today after a long absence, and they're now offering Japanese chicken karaage and vegetarian yasai croquettes. They were absolutely delicious 😋. You can also now create your own sushi roll with your choice of sauce. I think everything there is generally delicious; I highly recommend it.

Food arrived cold again because the order took almost 2 hours, never again.

Simply a disgrace, I ordered the food to be delivered with extra cocktail sauce, the driver charged €5 but there was no Covtail sauce in it. After I called, I was either offered a credit or delivery would be there within 15 minutes. I called at 9:42 p.m. and at 10:38 p.m. the cocktail sauce was still not there. After calling several times, I was told the driver was on the way. After I called the restaurant again at 10:38 p.m., a cleaner answered and said all the employees were gone. How does it work when the store is open until 11 p.m.? Well, SO I WAS SHIT FOR 5€ neither credit nor the sauce. Never again will you order from a restaurant where you are robbed!!!!

Disappointing. You want Yakitori meat!!! Order skewers... unclearly declared on the menu. Then decided on Yaki Pepper, thinking it was meat with peppers... What was actually delivered was half a pepper in sauce on a skewer. And that for €3.50 This is really an outrage. Is the pepper gold plated? For that I get 3 peppers at Aldi :(

That was nothing. Ordered by phone on a recommendation on Sunday evening. The order was delivered after 1:45, 30 minutes later than announced. Sashimi was ok but the salmon, including nigiri, had no bite and was tasteless. Judging by the light color, it may have been thawed too quickly. Price performance was not appropriate at €35 per person.

Very nice sushi place. Hadn't been for a while and now twice in a shorter period. Atmosphere is reasonable, it is a bit smaller and there are more tables, so it can be a bit more cramped. Food is tasty and good quality. Service sometimes good sometimes a little slower (due to crowds) Unfortunately, more often than not you can't pay by card! Due to certain "disruptions", about 100 meters away when you stand in front of the business and then cross the street on the right, you can withdraw from the bank. Otherwise satisfied!

The food is overpriced and doesn't taste well. Some things like the sweet crispy chili tofu are just hilarious. Just dry rock tofu with some ketchup on top of it. The mango lassi was good tho

We ordered there for our Christmas dinner. Sushi worth €12 was missing from the order. When we called there they couldn't deliver, but we were supposed to receive a voucher for our next order. The next order came and we received a voucher, but only for 10% off the total price. We wouldn't order there again because there just isn't good service. The food itself wasn't the greatest either.

Only praise for this restaurant, delicious cuisine, and truly quality service. The staff present were really very welcoming, we felt almost at home, and took great care of them! The sushi was fabulous, the fish of impeccable quality. Exceptional value for money. We were treated to a little dessert offered by the house before leaving, a real delight too 🥰 A little word in French for us, having heard us talking among ourselves... Good humor and kindness. Fast service, we arrived around 2:30 p.m. and left around 4:00 p.m. Comfortable, cozy and pretty decor. I can only recommend this wonderful restaurant. Magnificent discovery!

Great little restaurant. More than just Shushi... (Chinese and Vietnamese). The telephone for the home delivery and pick-up service rings continuously... and the ringtone is set to '10'. A bit of a shame for the atmosphere. Also quite pricey by Aachen standards, but the food is very good.

Absolutely not recommended ordering through Wolt. The restaurant even seems to prepare the orders on time, but then the delivery person easily takes 2 hours. Today expected arrival between 8:20-8:40 p.m., prepared at 8:30 p.m. and then delivered at 10:20 p.m.!! That simply SHOULD not be the case. The food is actually very tasty, but it also suffers from the delivery times, so that the rice, for example, dries out slightly.

Based on the reviews and because it's around the corner from me, I thought I'd give it a try. The drink Mango Lassi was super delicious, but unfortunately I am very disappointed with the food, the starter (No. 5. fried octopus) and the main course (No. 38. the crispy duck) were a bit too crispy for my taste good German, more than over fried, you had to be careful when chewing. Not to mention the cold sauce that could no longer be consumed. Again, I wouldn't visit Lemongrass, the price is also not fair, I paid €27.90 for everything.

Big recommendation for the Mango Lassi

I was looking for a sushi restaurant in Aachen after my favorite restaurant “KanPai” closed. The food in Lemongrass tasted good, the seats were also set up in a “different” way, which I liked. I miss a running sushi in Aachen... I miss KanPai... but of all the sushi restaurants in Aachen I think Lemongrass is the best!

The food that arrived seems to have tasted good, but unfortunately it is apparently not possible for the individual rolls to be packed together and labeled as ordered. Furthermore, 4 search rolls were spontaneously felt during the delivery, both in the scope of delivery and on the invoice, a subsequent delivery was also not possible because no one was in the kitchen anymore (22.30 delivery time, so it was still possible, unpleasant and not the first time that partial deliveries were missing ). Since we ordered from several colleagues on night shift, the 10% discount that was offered as compensation is, to be honest, a bad joke, as a colleague's order was completely forgotten To make matters worse, the sauce that spread independently over everything else in the bag was an additional nuisance. It was also disturbing that fish and chicken-baked rolls were packed together in one container, so people with intolerances should exercise caution. Unfortunately, I can only advise against ordering at this point.

One of the best sushi in Aachen for me! Consistently great quality over many years. We like to order more often for pickup or delivery. The baked rolls are highly recommended.

I got “crunchy vegi 8 pieces” and a mango lassi. For so little sushi and barely edible, it cost so much money, a total of €18 You get a whole bowl for that!

The sushi there is great and the service is nice, but it takes quite a long time to get your food. The ambience is okay but the toilets are small, old and there isn't even any real light inside. Otherwise everything is correct.

The food was a lot less to my personal taste! The sushi is still delicious, but the hot dishes on offer have decreased in quality. I also ordered a Thai curry with tofu there and there were pieces of chicken in my meal, that's not possible!!! Pickup time was super quick, I can't rate the ambience since we picked it up, but it makes a nice impression!

The restaurant is well located on the Schanz. Unfortunately there is no outdoor area and no air conditioning, so in warm temperatures these can also be found indoors. The staff is friendly, but a bit slow and not quite as attentive as you would like. The food itself (we had two wok dishes with noodles and rice) was okay. Nothing special in terms of taste, but rather very adapted to the German palate - rather disappointing given the prices - a shame. I can't say anything about the sushi.

I can't say much about the sushi, but the noodle boxes are great. The meat-to-noodle ratio is perfectly balanced. The meat is very clean (fat etc. is cut off neatly) and the noodle boxes are full to the brim.
