The food at Mangold is truly excellent and delicious. Anyone who enjoys Asian cuisine shouldn't miss this place. They offer a good variety of dishes, including sushi. The service is very attentive and usually quite quick. The prices are reasonable. A definite recommendation for this restaurant.

We need to get something off our chest about Mangold. The food is very tasty. The ambiance is much better, more pleasant and comfortable than before. Unfortunately, it's a bit small and the tables are lined up next to each other, but I suppose that's unavoidable, and it's not a big deal. The service is a mixed bag. The service team is generally nice, and we've been coming to Mangold for quite some time now. We're always served by the waitress with the glasses – a very nice and attentive girl 👍. However, there's one woman there who's very grumpy. I'm not sure if she's the owner or the manager, but apparently she's in charge. We find her... well... her manner isn't welcoming, she's rude, and you get the feeling you've done something wrong. It's a real shame because we actually like Mangold, but this particular woman is giving it a bad reputation.

We love going to Mangold. The service is always friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. Because of its size, the restaurant, which is usually fully booked, is a bit noisy, but that doesn't bother us at all. It's easy to have a conversation, and even if you laugh loudly, no one gives you strange looks.

The entire staff was outstanding in every respect, extremely professional, and exceptionally friendly. Special praise and our deepest thanks go to the lady from Albania, whose unparalleled warmth, competence, and charming manner made our evening an unforgettable experience – she was simply the best! The cuisine was equally impressive: the food was not only exceptionally delicious but also a masterful work of art in terms of presentation and decoration. A perfect visit!

Yesterday was my first time there. Everything was very tasty!!

Unfortunately, the atmosphere was far too loud. Waitstaff were singing loudly behind the bar, and there was shouting in the kitchen. The music was so loud that conversation was nearly impossible. The waitress, carrying the plates, didn't seem to notice that her upper body, wearing a wool sweater, was practically swimming in food. Furthermore, the door was open the entire time, presumably to prevent cooking fumes from entering the room… but this left us feeling quite cold. However, the food itself was delicious. Nevertheless, we won't be returning, as we didn't feel comfortable as guests.

Excellent restaurant with superb quality dishes. Superbly delicious and original. The setting is magnificent, and it's the best restaurant in Germany 🥰 As a French traveler visiting Germany for the first time, I'll definitely return just for this restaurant. One of the best sushi places in Aachen and the surrounding area. The curries and stir-fries are also always delicious. Due to high order volume, there can sometimes be a bit of a wait and things can get a little chaotic. But the staff are always incredibly friendly and helpful!

A restaurant centrally located in Aachen Brand. There's no on-site parking, but there's plenty nearby. The food was excellent. We weren't so impressed with the ambiance. We sat quite close to the counter in the entrance area, so it felt more like a snack bar. The service staff was friendly. The food was very high quality, delicious, attractively presented, and served promptly. Card payments aren't accepted yet, so be sure to bring cash before visiting!

Really tasty food and delivered quickly

We were sitting at a nearby establishment and didn't like it, so we moved to Mangold in Brandt. They found a table for us right away, no need to book in advance. Our group's order was taken pretty quickly. 👍🏽 First, we had some fresh soup, then we ordered sushi. 🍣 The fish was fresh and delicious, the sushi was huge, we couldn't fit it in our mouths. 🤭We loved it, thank you very much.

The food at Mangold is varied and appealing, but the service, unfortunately, isn't. What reason could there be for a large restaurant not accepting card payments? I wonder?! If the service staff at least sold it charmingly, it might be okay, but as it is... The server's explanation: "Well, older people just don't like paying by card..." (???)

Total rip off. Under No circumstances should you ever order the Special To Go. Not only are the noodles extremely oily and flavorless but they have the audacity to charge €2.50 for a tiny portion of Sambal Olec. So the flavor sauce for their oily, tasteless noodles is disproportionately expensive. That’s literally 50% of the price of the noodles. Nice service, friendly staff, beautiful location but such a complete sham that I wouldn’t bother going back to try anything else.

Our phone reservation couldn't be found at first, and only after showing it on the phone did we get a table. The food was delicious. Negative: The bill only arrived after repeated inquiries, and since payment was only accepted in cash, we had to withdraw extra money, which involved walking to the nearest savings bank. Unusual and impractical these days; even small snack bars accept cards. The food was excellent, but the payment service could be improved.

It's a shame that restaurants still don't accept card payments.

We ordered sushi, summer rolls, and edamame for pickup. They were ready quickly, the service was friendly, and the food was delicious! The summer rolls were unfortunately a bit dry. The sushi and edamame tasted great! A B rating deduction: We ordered for three people (with an order of almost €100, you can tell this wasn't for just one person). Nevertheless, everything was put together on one plate without our prior consultation. This could be particularly problematic for people with allergies! But we would have preferred to have it separated. Card payments aren't possible, which is a mystery to me these days. Conclusion: delicious food, we'll definitely order again.

The food and service were excellent. However, it was annoying that you couldn't pay by card. I find that outdated these days.

I trusted the reviews... but even that can be misleading. I eat sushi often, so often that I always bring my own chopsticks. This was the most boring sushi I've ever had. And the unagi was dry. On top of that, the first waitress didn't care about this information; the second one passed it on, but without any reaction from the kitchen.

We ordered from Mangold Aachen Brand | Asian Pacific Cuisine and picked up the food at the pickup station. The fried noodles and rice were truly delicious – as were the peanut and teriyaki sauces, which both had a perfect balance of flavor. The sushi was fresh, well-prepared, and also tasted excellent. My only minor criticism: the sushi rolls could have been rolled a little tighter, as they fell apart easily – but that didn't detract from the experience. One minor drawback is that card payments aren't accepted. In this day and age, I think that would be entirely appropriate. Otherwise, everything was perfect – we were very satisfied and would happily order again!

Wir waren an einem Montagabend zu viert zu Gast. Wir kennen das Mangold in Würselen, welches sehr gut ist. Hier waren wir etwas enttäuscht. Zu den Frühlingsrollen gab es statt süßsaurer Sauce Ketchup, etwas verdünnt. Merkwürdig. Ich hatte einen Salat, aber das Dressing on top war wieder Ketchup und diesmal noch mit Mayo! Nicht lecker. Bitte belehrt die Köche und kehrt zu asiatischen Saucen zurück! Ein No-Go…

I had pre-ordered the food for the lunch break online an hour in advance and the order was confirmed. Unfortunately, I got there and the order hadn't been prepared yet. I had to wait another 20 minutes before I could even take my pre-ordered food with me. The operation also disappeared directly to the back and was then no longer accessible.

Very good and very tasty! The portions are big enough! The staff is always very nice. The ambience is also ok. The prices are a little higher, but unfortunately that doesn't stop with our inflation. Despite everything, everything has always been complete and delicious. Online ordering is e.g. Very good because you don't always have to call. From my side the only problem would be the lack of parking spaces. But otherwise everything is great and I would like to come back.

Sorry, but that was nothing... There were three of us there for dinner during the week. Restaurant about half full. The service was cool and occasionally overlooked our empty glasses and plates. We shared a starter plate and after a little over an hour the main course arrived. I have rarely eaten such tasteless food from an Asian restaurant. The fried tofu tasted like nothing and had to be drowned in sauce. Even fried noodles from a bag have more variety of flavors and seasoning. For us the longer journey wasn't worth it!

It's an outrage, it's such unfriendly service. I have noticed several times now that customer friendliness is given an F. First we were kept on the phone for 15 minutes and then we received accusations on site. I have never experienced as much incompetence as this man. The gentleman sitting at the front desk is so incredibly disrespectful and unfriendly. I will never go to this store again and will advise everyone not to go there. I have so many friends who agree exactly with me. So it's best not to go to this chard It's better to drive a little further to Santo Sushi. Everything is fresh there and you don't have to beg for someone to be nice to you.

The presentation of the food is very nicely done. Haben übers Telefon gebratene Reis mit Ente bestellt zum abholen, die haben alles verpackt, so dass du logischerweise nicht mehr nachgucken, ob das bestellte auch drin ist, also zu Hause ankamen, war gebratene Nudeln mit Ente drin.

I'm sorry for only two points, but this time my experience wasn't good. I ordered two tuna steaks on jasmine rice from Mangold to pick up from the corner. Maybe it was my mistake not to eat there. I was able to have a look into the kitchen. The woman who prepared our food was coughing loudly several times and wasn't wearing a mask or rubber gloves. After coughing, she put fresh vegetables in our box without washing her hands. The food box was professionally sealed, but when we got home the tuna steak tasted very dry. Conclusion: I have a cold now too! Well, all you can say is: bon appetit.

Ich rief im Restaurant an. Ein Mann meldete sich am Telefon, ich schilderte mein Anliegen. Er sagte mir, ich müsse warten. Ich wartete. Zwischendurch rief jemand in den Hörer: „Hallo, hallo, hier ist deine Mutter!“ Ich fragte, was das soll. Stille. Ich hätte wohl besser auflegen sollen. Es verging eine weitere Minute. Schließlich meldete sich die Dame, die offenbar für Reservierungen zuständig ist. Sie verhielt sich professionell. Dennoch: Dieser Vorfall mit dem Zwischenruf hinterlässt bei mir ein schlechtes Gefühl. Ich werde von einem Besuch absehen.

The homepage advertises “Lovingly prepared” and euphoric text. I was really looking forward to my Asian experience and was very disappointed. As soon as the driver handed me the bowl, I noticed that it was only lukewarm. When I opened the bowl I was even more disappointed. On one side there was lukewarm rice, on the other side all the components were slapped together. The food was actually lukewarm, some even cold. Lovingly prepared looks different to me. I cannot understand why, when I order various grilled dishes at 8:14 p.m., they are so cool or completely cold when they are delivered at 8:40 p.m. To me it didn't look fresh at all. More like warmed up in the microwave. The veggie mix didn't say it was spicy. I can't eat anything spicy (I don't like spicy anyway). That gave me the rest and €18.90 went into the trash can. Before I give a bad review publicly, I always write to the service provider first asking for their opinion. Unfortunately I didn't get an answer.

Auf der Homepage wirbt man mit "Liebevoll zubereitet" und einem euphorischen Text. Ich habe mich wirklich auf mein Asien-Erlebnis gefreut und wurde sehr enttäuscht. Schon als mir der Fahrer die Schale übergab, merkte ich, daß es nur lauwarm war. Beim Öffnen der Schale wurde ich noch mehr enttäuscht. Auf der einen Seite war lauwarmer Reis, auf der anderen Seite alle Komponenten aufeinander geklatscht. Das Essen war tatsächlich lauwarm, einiges sogar kalt.Liebevoll zubereitet sieht für mich anders aus. Ich kann nicht nachvollziehen, daß, wenn ich um 20:14 Uhr verschiedene gegrillte Speisen bestelle, diese bei Lieferung um 20:40 dermaßen abgekühlt bzw. ganz kalt sind. Für mich sah daß alles überhaupt nicht frisch aus. Eher aufgewärmt in der Mikrowelle. Beim Veggie-Mix stand nicht, daß er scharf ist. Ich darf nichts scharfes essen (mag sowieso nicht scharf). Das hat mir dann denn Rest gegeben und 18.90 € sind in den Mülleimer gewandert. Bevor ich öffentlich eine schlechte Rezension abgebe, schreibe ich zuerst immer den Dienstleister an, mit der Bitte um Stellungnahme. Ich habe leider keine Antwort bekommen.

Preferably no star, the food is inedible, tastes like old sushi that has been sitting there for a long time. The staff leaves a lot to be desired, you have the feeling you are in a schoolyard but not in a restaurant! Never again!!!

The atmosphere is inviting and cozy. As with every visit, the food tastes very good. Prices have risen slightly over the years but the good quality of sushi and food has remained. The service is friendly but sometimes a bit disorganized.

I've been there several times and am thrilled every time. The sushi quality is outstanding – fresh ingredients, perfectly rolled and beautifully presented. The creative sushi creations available here in particular make eating an experience. The selection is large, so there is something for every taste, and vegetarians will also find many delicious options. The atmosphere is cozy and modern, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. The waiting times are also pleasantly short. If you love sushi, you definitely shouldn't miss Mangold Sushi. Clear recommendation!

Service was very nice. Unfortunately, two warm dishes were forgotten and they only came when asked, when the others at the table had already finished their sushi. Sushi was a complete disappointment… the rice fell apart & you couldn't eat it properly! And that was the case with every piece. We had ordered 10 different rolls and all of them were not rolled tightly enough. In addition, the ratio between filling and rice is 0. Way too much rice and not enough filling. If it had been an all-you-can-eat, I would have understood if the rice had been thicker, but with à la carte that's a no go... The food view have a good quantity.

Because of the good overall rating, we had dinner for two today (I seriously doubt the authenticity of the overall ratings) The ambience is beyond poor, which is no more than a chip shop can manage. Service was friendly, but in 1.5 hours we had no less than 5 different waiters for our table because there was a constant change. So one of them didn't know what the other had already discussed at the table. The food was “ok”, unfortunately nothing more. You can actually get better sushi in many stores for the same price. Soups and main courses were mediocre, but you don't actually have to eat out if you can cook for yourself to some extent. What was extremely disturbing for us was the “staff table” right in front of the door, where one of the staff was constantly playing with their cell phone, smoking or resting half lying on the table. A blast and an absolute no go. NO CARD PAYMENT in a restaurant that seats around 200 guests. When ordering at the beginning there was no mention of the fact that you can only pay in cash, and there is nothing about it in the menu either. It is completely hidden and inconspicuously posted on the glass window of the restaurant. Every second guest was surprised by this and then went to get cash on foot. Everyone can form their own opinion as to why payment is only allowed in cash in such a large restaurant. I definitely cannot recommend the store, I would even strongly advise against visiting it. There are enough alternatives that are better and will even work with card payments in 2024 😉.

We had dinner with nine people and everyone enjoyed it very much. Also for the older ones among us who have barely had any contact with Asian cuisine. The selection on the menu is extensive, there is very tasty sushi, delicious soups and the fish dishes also tasted extremely aromatic and fresh. The portions were large and nicely prepared. Only the beef was a bit tough in places. The noise in the restaurant was a bit disturbing, due to the occupancy and the tightly packed tables. Without prior reservation nothing would have been available. Despite the high occupancy, the service was fast and friendly, the food was on the table quickly and warm for all of us at the same time, the drinks were also at the right temperature, and the prices were reasonable to reasonable for the quality of the food. The ambience inside is modern, reduced to the essentials. Unfortunately, you can only sit outside directly at a large, busy traffic light intersection. This isn't really recommended if you want to concentrate on the really delicious food. The only point of criticism: Payment is only possible in cash. This is no longer up to date, even if there are several ATMs in the area. Otherwise a clear recommendation!

I've been eating there regularly for years, but the quality has declined recently extremely diminished. Service is pretty weak, (don't even get me started on telephone service) Some of the food is very tasteless... It's a shame because the best Asian food in Aachen used to be served there (in my opinion).
