Everything is great here. The best Sachertorte! (7 years ago) Here again today, January 19, 2025, still great and very nice service.

A restaurant in Bad Wildungen worth visiting. They have a varied menu and a wide variety of cakes and desserts to taste. The waiters are very friendly and there is a very good atmosphere. The food is very delicious and well presented.

In addition to good Austrian cuisine, Café Schwarze also offers very good service with courteous employees. The breakfast buffet is particularly recommended.

We've eaten there several times and it's always been great. Last time I ordered a roulade, which unfortunately didn't taste that good. But other than that I only have positive things to say.

Whether “just” for a cappuccino or cake or for a small dish (we had Wiener-style schnitzel) - the selection is diverse and delicious!! Great ambience - when you're there, pay attention to the lamps that are hanging or standing everywhere...

Called at lunchtime, reserved a table for the evening. In the afternoon for coffee there in the café in the front area. Cappuccino good, cake ok. Service - the blonde lady who took the reservation - friendly and professional! Confirmed the reservation again for a table in the rear restaurant area. Back for dinner in the evening. The young, very slim, tall waiter with the "French crop" haircut, who had collected the money in the afternoon, recognized us after hesitation and took us to a table in the front "café" area. When he objected that his colleague had offered us a table at the back of the restaurant, he said completely implausible stuff that was supposed to justify that this table should be our reserved one. As the “conversation” continues, the reasoning becomes more and more absurd and unfriendly! Too bad! Otherwise the atmosphere was pleasant and the food and drinks were ok. Unfortunately, this overall impression was very much impaired by this almost mushy waiter, who apparently thinks he can show off others!

We discovered the cafe during a visit to Bad Wildungen and were absolutely thrilled afterwards. The in-house fruit spritzers are a real treat, the burgers on offer are among the best we've ever had and the milk coffee with hazelnut flavor is simply unbeatable. We thought it was so good that we went back a short time later. My wife says I'm always far too critical when it comes to food, but I really have to give full points here. We would love to come back.

Nice and cozy café right on Brunnenalle. Parking spaces nearby and not far from the spa park.

We had dinner there yesterday on New Year's Eve with 6 people. Everything tasted great and the portions were good too. Fast, nice service and a really cozy atmosphere there.

We had our “last school desk” meeting of our class here. The atmosphere is very nice. I had the classic waffle which was delicious. ☺️

Old-established café in a new, modern design. Delicious coffee, great raspberry yogurt cake and warm apple strudel with vanilla ice cream and cream - bomb 😊 Friendly and fast staff. Have visited many times through rehab and always enjoy it

Friendly service and pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately the dishes, tarte flambée (salty and sticky) and fish fillet (which consisted of 80% breading) were very disappointing.

Definitely worth a visit. Be it for breakfast, cafe, with cake, a main course or everything combined. The drinks, including non-alcoholic mixed drinks, are all highly recommended. Always happy with young and old.

Best schnitzel in the pensioner town

Very great breakfast, leaves nothing to be desired. Attentive service, even when it's packed!!! Cozy ambience with sofa comfort. Be sure to book a table in advance on the weekend!!! Otherwise you'll probably go home hungry ;)

Waited a long time for the beer. Only after asking was it explained that the reason was a barrel change. In addition, the service was not great. No demand.

Bad Wldungen changed after I left it in 2004. But the Café Schwarze is still there. The private rooms in which I enjoyed sitting and having breakfast with my current wife were also there. I also think that the pictures with the quotes were already there back then, but I'm not sure. The Café Schwarze is and will remain there because it is an institution in Bad Wldungen. Everything else is old hat... I didn't eat anything this time...

I agree with many of the positive reviews. The daily menu on November 1st, 2024 fish in batter with fried potatoes was very tasty. The service is very friendly and the atmosphere invites you to come back.

We came here for dinner during the week, making reservations in advance to be on the safe side. The restaurant was also well filled for a Wednesday evening! We especially liked the ambience! The restaurant is very stylishly decorated and the entire decoration seems very well thought out! The service was very friendly and quick. We really enjoyed the pumpkin risotto, the garlic baguette and the tarte flambée. The food was ready very quickly and nothing was left to be desired. We would also like to highlight the good selection of high-quality whiskeys, which are offered at fair prices. We'll definitely come back if we're in the area again!

We love it here, the entire family (baby to great-grandparents) always finds something delicious to eat and drink. We've been going to the "Schwarze" at regular intervals for years and are happy every time. The staff is friendly, the food, the cakes, the drinks... so delicious. We just keep coming back.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the breakfast buffet at Café Restaurant Schwarze and it was simply amazing! The selection was extensive and the quality of the food was excellent. From fresh rolls to various spreads and delicious egg dishes - there was something for every taste. The service was also very pleasant and balanced. The staff was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. You immediately felt comfortable and in good hands. All in all, I can only warmly recommend Café Restaurant Schwarze. A perfect place for a relaxed breakfast! I'll definitely come back.

I don't even know how long Café Black has been around. Was there ever BW without this cafe. It's always worth a visit. In summer it's nice to sit outside. Service perfect.

You get a great mega breakfast there At a small, fair price. Everything you need is there. And everything is so delicious. We'll go there again.

We went to Schwarze's for breakfast and several times for dinner. Everything was great! Breakfast buffet with a good selection, is always replenished. For dinner we had schnitzel, burgers, pulled chicken and tarte flambée. Everything was delicious and cleverly cooked. Service friendly, attentive and unobtrusive. We'll definitely come back. We haven't tried the cakes yet...

You can eat well here in a cozy atmosphere. The service was very friendly. Although there was an error when ordering, it was quickly resolved to my satisfaction. Mistakes happen sometimes, if they are fixed quickly it's not a problem for me.

I ate the breaded schnitzel there. That was excellent, as was the potato salad. This was the best schnitzel in a long time and the quality is not inferior to any schnitzel in Austria. Everything here seems to be homemade. Convenience products will probably be avoided. I've also been to Nägels In Fritzlar. It belongs to the same restaurateurs and the food there is also excellent. They seem to be gastronomic professionals. The price/performance ratio is very good. A visit to both restaurants is highly recommended. In addition, the cake in the black is very good. The Black Forest is perfect.

I really liked it here straight away! The atmosphere is very appealing and the service was great. You were immediately spoken to in a friendly manner and shown to a free table. The advice on choosing cakes and tarts was also nice and helpful. The coffee tasted excellent, as did the selected cakes. Many guests had lunch and everything looked so good that they immediately decided that they definitely had to go there again. I'm excited and will report back...

I was there with the family on Easter Monday. I had fried zander fillet on “green Thai curry” with vegetables and basmati rice. It looked great, was a little spicy and tasted super delicious. Our dessert was Kaiserschmarrn with vanilla ice cream and cherries. We were very satisfied and would like to come back.

Very cute little restaurant/café in the heart of Wildungen. The restaurant was very busy and the service team was understaffed for the rush. The nice waitress with blonde hair and the barman held the whole place together and really rocked it. Hold on to these two employees and pay them a good salary :-) I come from the catering industry myself, without them the shop would have collapsed. Despite the stress, you communicated well with each other and didn't let the guests notice anything. Such good teamwork has become rare. Keep it up 👏🏻 Cappuccino and tarte flambée were very tasty.

The location and ambience are nice, the service is not very interested in customers, you wait outside for a long time until the service comes, once an order is brought you never see the service outside again. The quality of the lunch is very poor, the bratwurst was burnt, the fried potatoes were like leather (warmed up in the microwave?) and even the sauerkraut was burnt. The waitress wasn't interested in any of this. NEVER AGAIN. P.S. But the chai latte is very tasty

I can recommend this place, especially when the weather is nice. The terrace is very nice and you can sit well. We went for the breakfast buffet and the selection was okay, but not big or special.

Waffles and coffee were delicious, but the catastrophic service was very annoying and a reason not to come back. You enter the restaurant, employees are standing around and you have to ask yourself where there is no table reservation. A young man with glasses and curly hair then showed us a free table. We took a seat, while new orders were being taken outside, we felt forgotten inside. We asked again at the front, unfortunately no apology, just blank looks and the information that you had to order at the table (difficult when no one comes). There was nothing wrong with the food, but part of the order was initially incorrect but was quickly corrected. During the entire time no one came to the table and asked if everything was ok etc. The same game when paying, no staff anywhere. You would understand if the café were full, but if you have to run after them and then see the staff standing there leaning... then they respond to questions in an unfriendly manner... that just gets on your nerves and you more or less regret the visit.

Zentral gelegenes alteingesessenes Café /Restaurant . Schöne Terrasse der Innenraum ist zeitgemäß ( gefällt nicht jedem ) Hervorzuheben ist das sehr freundliche und flinke Personal was , so war unser Eindruck , Spaß an ihrem Job hatten . Kulinarisch ist noch viiiel Luft nach oben , die Preise sind für das servierte nicht angebracht . Wir können das Restaurant zum Speisen nicht weiterempfehlen .

We were there for lunch and had reserved a table on the terrace in advance. For us there is nothing to complain about. The food was very tasty at reasonable prices, the service was very attentive and courteous. The entire restaurant/café and the terrace directly on the promenade are very well maintained. We were definitely not there for the last time.

Ich hatte ein: Backhendlsalat von der Hühnerbrust € 16,90 mit gerösteten Kürbiskernen und Kernöl - der Salat war gut aber mir zu sauer. Ich verstehe nicht warum ein Salat so sauer sein muss. Ich weiß aber dass viele das so mögen. Ich habe es erwähnt und mir wurde sofort ein Kaffee als Entschädigung angeboten. Also gutes Essen, sehr guter Service lautet mein Urteil.

The Café Schwarze is something very special with a legendary past. Okay, that made me curious. Sunday afternoon, not very crowded yet. We were offered a nice table with a bench and chair. The neighboring table was just being cleaned. Very good! But then the waiter put the chair on the table and brought another one from the next room. That was also put on the table. What, closing time already? The couple at the table next to them were also surprised. The answer to the question of whether the chairs... It needs to be swept under the table. 😳 After ten minutes it was done. But not exactly professional, the waitress could have put the chairs next to the table. So it was rather expansive. And the cake? Well: fresh and from our own production??? The apple cake was very cold, as if it had just been frozen, the raspberry yoghurt cake was similar and super evenly shaped, like it came from the factory. Once there as a guest. A second time???

We hadden een mooi plekje op het terras met uitzicht op de Brunnenallee. Zeer vriendelijke bedoening. Genoeg keuze tegen een redelijke prijs. WIj hebben een hamburger en een flammenkuche gegeten en beide waren erg lekker. Dit restaurant is zeker een aanrader.

I chose the lunch menu. Super tasty, rich and cheap! The other dishes from our colleagues were also delicious! Service very friendly! I can recommend it.

I ordered Sachertorte, this one Unfortunately it was very dry and the chocolate icing on top cracked several times. A piece of apple pie was still almost frozen inside, but after a complaint it came back to the table very warm after a minute. The rooibos vanilla tea I ordered had orange and vanilla aroma.

The restaurant is located directly between several hotels in the city center. The service was very friendly and the food came quickly, although it was relatively empty when we arrived. As a side dish we ordered the baked Camembert, which was really a lot and a great starter. In general, all dishes are generously laid out. Everything tasted very good. It wasn't the best schnitzel I've ever eaten, but it was also very tasty. The burgers also look very impressive.

Super Sonntagsfrühstück gehabt! Heute war ich mit meiner Freundin zum Frühstücksbüffet im Café Schwarze, pünktlich um 9 Uhr, wir haben nämlich nicht reserviert, was ein Wagnis ist - es war nämlich einiges an Tischen reserviert. Die Auswahl am Büffet war fantastisch, es gab Eiersalat und Schweizer Wurstsalat mit frischer Paprika, Räucherlachs, Pancakes, frisches Früchtebrot (Hammer!), Obstsalat, Schokomousse … Leute, es lohnt sich. Personal super nett, nix zu meckern
