The food was good and the service was friendly. Unfortunately, I was shocked by the price increase. Over €14 for a currywurst, for example, is more than sporty. I am aware that nothing is getting cheaper and that the restaurateur also has to look where he is staying. Nevertheless, unfortunately my pain threshold was reached here.

Unfortunately overpriced! Service was very nice! 👍 As many people have already described, paying for tap water is a NOGO. Nobody sees me there anymore!

A look at the menu with the enormously increased prices made us leave and go somewhere else. I've always enjoyed being a guest at the Fox, but in my opinion that's not possible given the price-performance ratio. Too bad!

I've been vacationing in Grafenau for almost 30 years and have always enjoyed going to the FOX. It was always part of my vacation. Unfortunately, this was the last time I was there this year. It's not the food, the service or the ambience, it's just the astronomically high prices. Too bad!

The cafe is in the city center, everything is very clean and cozy, very friendly staff.

Fantastic restaurant, excellent dishes and excellent waiting time. Also easy to do when busy. Fairly expensive, but definitely worth it.

We have been to the Fox many times, the food remains the same, but the prices have increased enormously. The service was very nice, the food was standard... but the highlight was the price for 2 tap waters for 5€ (1 liter of tap water costs 0.2 CENT in Germany!!!). Unfortunately we only noticed this when we billed, It wasn't on the menu and the waitress should have at least pointed it out to us. Café Fox no longer sees us.

Both visits were very pleasant. Everything received quickly. Service good. Spaghetti Bolognese absolutely outstanding. Scampi salad is also great. 5 scampi stated in card get 10 💪strong. Get an online map explained. Ice cream excellent. Price-performance fits. Highly Recommended. Completely satisfactory. Nothing to improve. Even our lost car key was found and handed in at the lost property office. We were very relieved.

We wanted to have a drink on Saturday during/after the Säumerfest. Shortly before 10 p.m. I asked the waitress whether we (5 people) could get something to drink from them. She replied in the affirmative with "freile". As soon as we entered the restaurant the boss came and said "one more round" we replied that we just wanted something to drink anyway. As soon as we arrived at the table, another waitress came and wanted to take our order - without a card. Finally we got the map. After about a minute she stood there again to take the order. Someone in the group said we need something else. This was met with an annoyed eye roll. We then ordered 3 non-alcoholic cocktails and 2x ¼ wine. 10 minutes after we had the drinks on the table we were asked to leave the restaurant because they were now closing! So we had to throw our drinks around, which wasn't so great with the wine. Such behavior is impossible! If we hadn't specifically asked if we could have another drink... but they probably wanted to quickly take the money with 5 people.. At Peppo's the guests sat longer without being thrown out... we'll go there next time too ...The Fox definitely won't see us anymore!

I've been enjoying going here for years, my absolute all-time favorite is and remains the salad. Everything is offered here, from breakfast to a delicious dinner. The staff is always friendly and it's great to sit outside in the summer.

A lovely café in the heart of Grafenau. The service is quick and attentive. The only point deduction is for the noisy location on the main road with a junction and for the dingy toilet - it could have been a bit cleaner.

After Corona, it's nice to eat a great salad again.

If you're ever in Grafenau, definitely try the pizza!! Better than the Italian restaurant!... Once upon a time! 👎

The cake was great...service staff were nice, but not committed...if I had my little daughter with me, it would have been appropriate to ask if we needed a high chair for her...the tables and chairs outside are no longer the nicest ...that's the way it is with wood...but with a small table decoration it wouldn't be as noticeable, which is a shame.

The ambience is that of a café and is inviting. The service is extremely friendly and quick, you don't have to wait long. The dishes (burgers and Bavarian forest potties) were very good and also filling. It should be emphasized that there is also Budweiser beer (Budweiser-Budvar from the Czech Republic, not the terrible American one!). Highly recommended.

I always enjoyed being a guest there on FOX. But since the owner raised the prices so utopian, I'm done with it. I understand if prices have to be raised when everything becomes more expensive. But what happened now is no longer understandable. 2 mugs of coffee and 2 specials = €19.40 A piece of butter extra for breakfast €1.60, or currywurst with fries €14.40. Previously 8.50 I think it's all about the owner's greed for money. A breakfast that cost €11.90 before the increase can now be had for €17.90. I have to point out that the breakfast has been the same for what feels like 30 years, without any changes, and it doesn't contain caviar either. Because how else can you explain the totally exorbitant price? So you can't keep guests and win them. A scoop of ice cream €1.80 No, I can no longer visit Fox. We live here in Grafenau and not in Paris or London, the owner should keep that in mind

We only drank something this year. Also part of the mandatory program. But like the entire city of Grafenau, things have slowed down a bit. In general, everything is no longer what it used to be.

Unfortunately, Fox is getting worse. Quality has fallen enormously, prices have risen disproportionately. Greed for money rules here, which you can see in the exorbitant prices (0.4 l apple spritzer for €4.90 or Hawaiian pizza for €14.50). The government is blamed for everything. The increase in the minimum wage (from €12 to €12.41) is cited, among other things, as a reason for the insane prices or the quadrupling of electricity and gas prices (completely exaggerated!). It's also sad when employees here receive the minimum wage. Unfortunately, some things have gotten worse since the change of tenant. The quality as well as the portions and the prices have become very disadvantageous. Incidentally, this was already evident before the corona crisis. Due to the enormous greed, the store is driven to the wall and the culprit is of course someone else. A pity. I avoid the Fox.

Schönes Café und lecker zum Essen.

Sehr schönes Cafe/Restaurant mitten im Stadtzentrum. Sehr nette Bedienungen. Tolles Ambiente und große Kuchen etc. Auswahl, man kann da gut essen und auch Frühstücken aber leider überteuert daher nur 4 Sterne.

Wir waren zum Candlelight Dinner hier und es war wie Immer sehr lecker. Der Service war einfach toll. Wir waren definitiv nicht zum letzten Mal dort Update: Qualität und Service wie immer unschlagbar gut und mega leckeres Essen.

Absolut begeistert von meinem Besuch im Café Restaurant Fox in Grafenau! Die Pizza Panna Prosciutto war ein wahrer Gaumenschmaus, begleitet von einem exquisiten Glas Merlot. Das Ambiente war gemütlich, und der Service war ausgezeichnet. Ein kulinarisches Erlebnis, das ich gerne weiterempfehle! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Recht schön im Ortskern gelegen. Aufmerksamer, angenehmer Sevice und eine sehr große Auswahl an Speisen.

Wir waren vom Preis - Leistungsverhältnis sehr angenehm überrascht worden. Der Innenbereich sollte mal modernisiert werden. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren zum Frühstücken da. Sehr nette und freundliche Bedienungen. Gute Auswahl und es war auch reichlich auf dem Teller, Marmelade, Salami, Schinken, Gurke, ein Frühstücksei (leider hart),... Ich hatte noch ein Rührei das auch sehr lecker war und meine bessere Hälfte hatte einen Joghurt mit frischen Früchten was auch sehr lecker war. Preis Leistungs mäßig kann man meiner Meinung nach nichts sagen. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Wir haben nicht zu Mittag gegessen, sondern nur Kaffee und Kuchen genossen. Der Apfelstrudel und die Torte, sowie der Cappuccino mundeten uns ausgezeichnet und die Bedienung ist freundlich. Was will man mehr.

Schönes Café am Stadtplatz. Parkplätze in der Nähe vorhanden. Guter Kaffee und leckerer Kuchen. Der Service war auch sehr nett.

Zum Abschluss einer Gruppenreise zum Arber kehrten wir im Café Fox ein und nahmen wegen des guten Wetters dort auf der Aussenterrasse Platz. Das Ambiente auf dem Marktplatz des Ortes war durchaus angenehm und ansprechend. Außergewöhnlich freundlich war die Bedienung, die die durstige und hungrige Meute souverän und schnell bewirtete. Das hat wirklich ein Kompliment verdient. Der bestellte Zwiebelrostbraten war auch sehr gut, mit dem kleinen Abstrich, dass er nicht wie bestellt, Medium serviert wurde. Das Fleisch war innen nicht mehr rosa und damit einen Tick zu lange in der Pfanne, auch wenn es Gottseidank nicht völlig durchgebraten und hart war. Der Kaiserschmarren war dagegen perfekt. Einem weiteren Besuch steht nichts entgegen und das Café mit einen ungewöhnlich großen Angebot von Pizza über bodenständige Gerichten bis hin zu Kaffee und leckerem Kuchen kann uneingeschränkt empfohlen werden.

Von der Speisenvielfalt waren wir begeistert und auch das Essen hat geschmeckt und war wirklich ausreichend von der Menge. Wir baten zum Teilen der Pizza, neben den zwei anderen Speisen, um einen zweiten Teller. Wie wir im Nachhinein auf der Rechnung feststellten, wurde der zweite Teller tatsächlich extra berechnet. Von den extra Kosten wurde uns von der ansonsten freundlichen Bedienung nichts gesagt und wir haben nur davon erfahren, da wir extra nachgefragt haben. Damit waren wir nicht einverstanden und haben das auch zum Ausdruck gebracht. Mehr als ein Nicken wurde uns dafür jedoch nicht entgegengebracht.

Das Restaurant Fox liegt gut gelegen am Marktplatz von Grafenau und ist fußläufig von der nahegelegenen Bushaltestelle zu erreichen. Das Lokal eignet sich hervorragend zum um im Anschluss einen kleinen Spaziergang um das Bäreal (Kurerlebnispark) zu machen. Das Essen dort ist qualitativ hochwertig und im Regelfall wird man zügig bedient. Einzige Ausnahme stellt hier, meiner Erfahrung nach, das Angebot von Pizzen dar. Diese fallen etwas im Vergleich zu dem restlichen Angebot ab und sind einen kleinen Ticken zu teuer im Verhältnis zum Gebotenen. Sie sind natürlich trotzdem ganz ok, nur halt nicht so gut wie das restliche Angebot. Parkplätze gibt es im Umkreis von 500 Metern, z.b. beim Parkplatz Meininger mehr als genügend.

Das Essen sah super aus, vor allem der Salat, aber leider waren, meiner Meinung nach, die Pommes und die Panade salzig. Der Salat war grandios, allerdings war der Teller,auf dem dieser serviert wurde, viel zu klein. Vom Nussbecher rate ich ab , meiner Empfindung nach ,leider viel zu viele Nüsse und kaum Eis, außerdem wenig Sahne. Der Laden ist eine Mischung aus Eisdiele und Restaurant,und mir persönlich war es viel zu laut. Die Bedienung war nett,aber ,ich glaube , einwenig überfordert.

Das Fox ist ein Lokal, wo sich auch junge Leute treffen. Die Speisenkarte ist ausgewogen und führt auch eine Vielzahl an Salaten. Neben den schmackhaften Fleischgerichten ist die Pizza empfehlenswert. Seit diesem Jahr hat das Fox montags Ruhetag. der Biergarten ist groß, liegt jedoch direkt an der Straße. Hat mich persönlich aber nie gestört. Die Bedienungen sind freundlich und schnell. Anders als die am Stadtplatz ansässigen Restaurants, die von 14-17 Uhr geschlossen haben, wird durchgängige Küche angeboten.

Prelepa atmosfera. Ljubazna i prijatna konobarica. Toĉena piva su izvanredna. Pomfrit odličan.

Essen war superlecker, das Salatdressing einfach sensationell. 👍🏻

Riesige Speisekarte und jedes Gericht schmeckt sehr gut. Vorallem die Salate mit Pizzabrot sind definitiv eine Empfehlung. Sehr nettes und gutes Personal. Man wartet nie lange auf Gtränke und das Essen kommt wirklich schnell. Wenn wir essen gehen dann meistens dort.
