Today at school, we had a professional development day and placed a large order with Bomba’s Pizzeria in Marl. Even the phone call the day before was exceptionally friendly and professional. Our large order was patiently taken, we received excellent advice, and the price was very fair – truly outstanding service. The delivery was absolutely on time and was announced by phone beforehand. Everything arrived hot, fresh, and perfectly packaged. You can immediately tell that they use high-quality ingredients: the dough was light and crispy, the sauce aromatic and rich, and the toppings fresh and perfectly portioned. Every pizza was a taste sensation. The Pizza Vegetario impressed with its crisp, fresh vegetables, and the Pizza Salami with its flavorful, high-quality salami. The Pizza Döner was also particularly praised, as the combination of fresh meat and an intense, slightly spicy sauce was perfectly harmonious. The Pizza Margherita demonstrated just how delicious a classic pizza can be when quality is paramount, and the Pizza Tonno, with its fresh tuna and perfectly balanced onions, was a resounding success. The crowning glory was the Pizza Bomba's – generously topped, perfectly seasoned, and featuring an incredibly tasty house sauce that instantly became a favorite. It was accompanied by fresh, crisp salads with a delicious dressing – also of the highest quality. We were particularly impressed by the owner's attentiveness: after delivery, he personally called us to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. This kind of appreciation is rare these days. We were absolutely delighted and will definitely order from Bomba's again for our next professional development day or any other school event. Taste, service, and warmth – everything was just right. Gaststätte Weiss is a long-established pub in Alt Marl. You can always enjoy a fine draft pilsner there. There's certainly no rush there.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The golf course was closed. Instead, we played billiards. The tables were so crooked that no ball would stay on them. The facility was very run down, as was the playground. Many parts were broken. On the upside, you can rent covered wagon rides there. We won't be coming back. The price/performance ratio is completely unacceptable.

Great service, Super nett, super Service

I ordered something. Pork fillet with vegetables in bean sauce. I think the chef didn't feel like cooking anything; I've never experienced it before. The meat was anything but tender or tasty, much too tough, and the same goes for the vegetables. The broccoli, peppers, and carrots were cut way too large and mostly raw. Except for the sprouts and bamboo shoots, which were okay. I've had similar experiences at other places where you can easily cut everything with a spoon. I'd rather have my own wok. Only the spring roll was really good, very crispy and delicious. I hope that doesn't happen to me there a second time.
