I ate tacos there last week. I immediately got stomach cramps and a rash, and it's still going on! The service was completely lackluster at times. But it would be unfair to describe everyone that way; it's a shame for the "dedicated" people there. Leadership skills are clearly lacking here. And the kitchen should also be looked at; if they work like some of the service staff, then a lot of things can be explained. It's best to just enjoy a coffee here. It's tasty, otherwise a no-go.

We like going there for breakfast. Last Saturday, we were disappointed. By 11:30 a.m., almost everything was gone, and nothing was refilled. Even the cutlery was missing, and after repeated requests, it was finally brought. We'd always been very satisfied the other times, but this time, unfortunately, we weren't at all. It's a real shame.

We were here today for breakfast at the buffet. The selection is sufficient for a weekday. The staff was very friendly and attentive, considering they had to run the place by themselves. Now for what's absolutely not okay... The first time we went to the buffet, we discovered the first two plates were beyond dirty. There was Nutella leftovers on one, and what looked like cream cheese with chives on the other. And unfortunately, this was the case again and again the other times. Dirty plates, and the cutlery was also decorated with leftovers. They should be a bit more careful in the dishwashing area. It was simply disgusting. The ladies next to us had the same impression as we did, and I assume this wasn't a one-off service. That alone makes me, as a customer, doubt I'd eat there again. I know that a plate slips in between the times. I work in a commercial kitchen myself. But this...

The staff was extremely unfriendly. We weren't given any napkins, and when we asked, they offered us a dirty rag to clean our glass. On top of that, the food wasn't good, which is a real shame.

I've never been so disappointed; the staff were so incredibly unfriendly. Apparently, this restaurant doesn't serve side dishes, only with food... We ordered a coffee, and when we asked for a side dish because we'd spilled something, we were offered a rag that the waitress had in her pocket that wasn't clean. We ordered pizza and a kids' menu. The pizza was extremely soggy, and the kids' menu came with an awful lot of sauce. So almost all of it was left over. I think that's a huge waste. These days, the pizzas in supermarkets are much better than in most restaurants, which is a shame. Not recommended.

Delicious schnitzel dishes, meat crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, good size too. But why are you so stingy with the French fries? The amount of fries was enough for a 3-year-old child; they wouldn't fill an adult. That's why we lose a star. Unfortunately, the plates are extremely impractical in terms of size and shape. Get larger plates that are a normal shape!

Der Service war ganz o.k. Das Essen war weniger als durchschnitt. Schnitzel zu klein. .Die Lasagne auch nur durchschnitt. Für die Schorle war der Wein gut. Dann kam der Cocktail "Mai Tai". Ein Senfglas ist noch schön ,aber diese Cocktailgläser sind das letzte. Dann war das Glas Dreiviertels mit Eiswürfel gefüllt. der Rest war nur minimal enthalten. von Rum ein Hauch, ebenso Limettensaft. Das Röhrchen konnte vor Eiswürfel sich nicht bewegen. Bei meiner Nachfrage sagte man mir ,das ist so von der Zentrale vorgegeben. Also hier trinke ich kein Cocktail mehr.

The food, in my case a Krüstchenschnitzel, was okay. Nothing special, but well-crafted for the price. Unfortunately, the service was hopelessly overwhelmed, despite the restaurant only being at half capacity. It took about 20 minutes to take my order. After the meal, the waitress walked past my table, which was filled with empty glasses, about eight times without even attempting to take my order. After sitting with an empty glass for about 25 minutes, I finally managed to order another drink. The service staff desperately needs some training or a better eye for knowing when to approach which tables.

A very pleasant atmosphere in a historic building, with a lovely outdoor area on Neustadt's market square. It's ideal for an evening snack and a beer or glass of wine on a warm summer evening. The food certainly stands out from fast-food restaurants, but still has a hint of chain restaurant. Anyone who likes burgers and the like will definitely get their money's worth, and there are also salads and bowls for those with a healthy appetite. The service is friendly and prompt.

Well, to be fair, the food was okay. The service is unfortunately very poor, but that's because there's only one server on duty, and he has to serve the entire restaurant. The manager seems to be very stingy. I won't be eating there again.

Great location, plenty of space, big and interesting menu. We picked some stuff from the spring/summer menu. The lemonades and the non-alcoholic Apérol Spritz were awesome, food was good. Nice and attentive staff; they apologized when one of the seasonal drinks took a bit longer to serve even though we didn't even have to wait that long.

First, the burger was good. The salad tasted bad. The yogurt dressing was sour, and despite being told otherwise, they only brought a small bowl of different dressing that you could pour over it. The "freshly baked pizza rolls" were cold and hard. The service was unfriendly: "I'm sorry, but I can't do anything about it," was the response. I usually enjoy coming here. Today was the last time. €10.45 for a salad with sour dressing and dry pizza rolls is just outrageous. And the staff showed absolutely no flexibility. What a shame.

Very good breakfast buffet at a good price. Only the peppermint tea was more water than tea. When we asked the staff about it, we were told that this is standard practice and that they drink their tea like this all day. Unfortunately, it wasn't enjoyable, but we still had to pay for it. Oh well... Next time, we'll just order water. What a shame.

There was a breakfast buffet, the only disadvantage is that coffee always has to be ordered separately. I don't think it's good for a buffet. The selection is good, but coffee should always be available at the buffet

We were at the German-French farmers' market in Neustadt and wanted to have a drink in Café Extrablatt. We sat down at one of their tables in front of the café. The service person saw this too. After waiting at least 10 minutes without anyone coming to us and taking an order, we left again. Absolutely underground. Apparently customers are not welcome here. Unfortunately you can't give out negative stars.

Solid but nothing special – okay for a stopover I've been to Café Extrablatt in Neustadt a few times now. The location is definitely a plus - especially in summer when you want to sit outside in the sun. It's a practical place to go, especially with friends, if you want to have a drink or a snack centrally. When it comes to service, I have had mixed experiences. Sometimes quite inattentive or a bit slow, even though it wasn't overly crowded. This can certainly happen, but unfortunately it happens often. The food is rather mediocre for my taste - not bad, but nothing that really impressed me either. The price is okay, but the quality of the food remains average. All in all, not a place I specifically go to, but if you're in town and want to sit outside, it's fine.

My friends and I visited the cafe, absolute horror. Iced Matcha Latte extremely powdery and service very unfriendly. Very disappointing!

Really terrible when it comes to friendliness and service! Me and my friends went and ordered 2x iced matcha latte and 1x latte macchiato + strawberry pancakes. We'll start with matcha latte, taste 0/10, it was powdery even though I didn't stir it, latte macchiato was okay but a bit too milky, strawberry pancakes were pretty tasty. Hedrich after exactly 10 minutes of leaving we ALL got stomach aches and that was because of the matcha latte, my girlfriend even got something black hard out of it!! Just disrespectful treatment of people who really have no patience!! This café is the very last one in Neustadt for me!

The salad plate with chicken was disappointing. A bit of iceberg lettuce, a few pepper strips and a piece of chicken on top. Actually, we always come there for breakfast, but that is now also a disappointing last visit for us.

We were there for breakfast on Saturday. We had one of the best breakfast buffets in a long time. Even though it was full, the waitresses were always courteous and took care of you quickly. This breakfast alone is worth visiting Neustadt again.

Cake was edible, price not appropriate. Coffee you tasted the industrial product and after consultation it was, even though they offer different coffee on the menu! It doesn't work at all. When asked, the service was very unfriendly and the answer was: The boss isn't there, complain in writing. You don't have to bother.

That evening it was very loud with children screaming. Drafty and cold through the open door. The cheeseburger and the side dishes were very tasty, as were the vegan salad and the vegan schnitzel.

We were very happy to be guests here... Nice service and a good atmosphere with delicious food and drinks make your stay a pleasure... We also like to be in the Extrablatt in Berlin, but the location here can't be beat... Right on the market square... simply great... We recommend the extra sheet 👍

The burgers were delicious. The service was prompt. I'd be happy to go again.

We went for brunch, and the food that was kept warm was only lukewarm. Many items were empty and were either not refilled at all or only refilled very quickly or very late. If there was a staff shortage, then it would be better to allow fewer guests in so that everyone is happy.

We actually need extra sheets in every city, unfortunately by far the worst. We sat somewhat hidden in a niche, unfortunately neither the floor nor the tables were clean, apart from the toilets. We didn't eat anything here when we saw the condition. Some of the employees were attentive, so all in all there are better locations in Neustadt.

Unfortunately I have to give a negative review! There are lots of tables and chairs on the side! We took a table and sat in the sun, but the staff chased us away and gave him a non-friendly tone! Won't be coming back again

We went only for coffee and drinks. The cafe has a great location, and the place is set up beautifully. Full of nocks and crannies, to sit in. Service was quick and efficient. If I have a critique ...what's wrong with the latte machine? Half glass of milk coffee with 10cm foam on it? I guess shrinkflation has gotten a hold of them. Sad and disappointing that one.

I've been to the extra paper several times now. For eating, drinking coffee and brunch. Everything is great and the prices are OK.

There is still a breakfast buffet here. Prices are more in the upper price segment. Offer plenty. It's best to reserve in advance, as it's often fully booked.

Breakfast buffet absolutely top. From bread and rolls to croissants. Sausage, cheese, various scrambled egg variations. Sausages, bacon, ... Buffet/brunch possible until 1 p.m. Perfect for spending Sunday mornings there. Priced at just under 16 euros per person. perfectly acceptable.

We went here for lunch on Boxing Day. The waitress came quickly to take the orders, drinks arrived quickly and the food didn't take long to arrive. Quality of the food is very good. It definitely wasn't the last visit.

Very tasty and varied buffet. The selection was very large and there was something for everyone. Good price. The rooms are OK but a bit impersonal. The service was variable. The ladies were friendly, the gentleman devalued the quality due to his stressed manner towards himself and the other servants. The atmosphere suffered as a result. Recommended for breakfast.

We reserved a table just to make sure we got a seat. It didn't take long until we ordered the drinks and food. The ambience is great, we were there on Saturday evening around 10 p.m., enough seats available, why? The Mojito was subpar, the Maitai was anything but tasty, the non-alcoholic Pinacolada was ok. Still, the cocktails are nothing special. Schnitzel tasted ok. Like the salad, the gulach soup was the only thing that was warm. The currywurst with fries was served cold!!! Cocktails aren't a big hit and the food wasn't great either, which is a shame.

We know the Extrablatt with good experience from Hanover. That's why it should also be here in Neustadt/Weinstr. get to know our friends. It was busy yesterday, so we understood that the drinks took longer. The first thing we ordered at happy hour was a MaiTai. What was missing in alcohol was oversized to the brim with ice cubes. On the second attempt we ordered Riesling spritzer. Here too, great care was taken to ensure that the alcohol content was moderate. We are more familiar with such a sad mixture from northern Germany. Finally we tried beer. The still warm beer glass (fresh from the dishwasher) quickly brought the cold beer to room temperature - quite easy on the stomach. All in all, a very (dis)sobering evening. Luckily we didn't eat anything and now we know what we can't recommend.

Really a shame. There were three of us there with our babies and we wanted to eat and drink together at lunchtime. The service was simply unfriendly. We don't ask for a red carpet to be rolled out for us moms, but when we made the reservation it was specifically mentioned that we would be coming with babies and strollers - and we were initially seated at a tiny (!) small table with uncomfortable chairs. We then asked to move to the neighboring table that had become vacant. We were unkindly informed that the aisle had to remain clear in any case (we had no intention of hindering the flow...). Afterwards we moved again on our own initiative, which was noted with annoyance by the waiter. Overall, we were treated condescendingly and let it be known that they were rather annoyed with us young mothers. Really a shame. It's not barrier-free here either - the area where we were seated is separated from the main room by a few steps and the toilets can only be reached from the main room via a long staircase. At least there is a changing table there. By the way, the food was good, as was the coffee. It wasn't cheap, but that wouldn't have bothered me if the service was good. Unfortunately, I would no longer come here with a baby and would like to see more appropriate treatment of families in the future.

That certain extra! My chicken schnitzel was inedible, the breading tasted like rancid fat. It definitely didn't come out of the pan. I let it go back. My wife had fries with guacamole. There were 3 different dips, which were absorbed into the fries after 5 minutes. When paying, I was seriously supposed to pay for my meal, but I said no. She has to talk to the boss. After about 5 minutes she brought the money in cash. No apology from either the waitress or the boss, who we didn't see. My wife also commented that it would be better to serve the dips separately. All we heard was an unfriendly “That’s what the headquarters says”. That was it with that certain extra.

Das gewisse Extra! Mein Hänchenschnitzel war ungenießbar, die Panade schmeckte nach ranzigem Fett. Es kam definitiv nicht aus der Pfanne. Ich habe es zurück gehen lassen. Meine Frau hatte Pommes mit Guakamole. Es waren 3 verschiedenen Dips, welche nach 5 Minuten in die Pommes eingezogen waren. Beim Bezahlen sollte ich allen Ernstes mein Gericht bezahlen, was ich aber verneinte. Da müsse sie mit dem Chef sprechen. Nach ca. 5 Minuten brachte sie mit das Geld in bar. Keine Entschuldigung weder von der Bedienung noch vom Chef, den wir nicht zu Gesicht bekommen haben. Meine Frau merkte noch an, man könnte lieber die Dips extra servieren. Wir bekamen nur ein unfreundliches „Das wird von der Zentrale so vorgeschrieben“ zu hören. Das wars dann mit dem gewissen extra.

We had to wait at least 20 minutes until we reported to the counter that we wanted to order, even though we walked past the waitress. My daughter's food was undercooked. Deep fried chicken breast sticks were raw inside. The plate was removed and a short time later it returned. The chicken was dark fried. Disgusting!!!

A very atmospheric town worth visiting. The restaurant is located in the market square. There are beautifully preserved buildings around. The cuisine is of the European category. There are no local flavors, but everyone will probably find something for themselves here.

Comfortable garden furniture in the outdoor area with a view of the beautiful market square and its hustle and bustle. The food is fresh and very tasty. The selection of dishes is diverse. The service was quick and friendly. Highly recommended!

I like to drive 35 km, I was there every now and then on Saturdays or Mondays. A plentiful buffet whether on the weekend or during the week, friendly staff. I'm already looking forward to the next time!

We wanted to eat 2 burgers and nuggets with fries for the children at lunch today. It took about 10 to 15 minutes for the service to arrive. When the drinks came after another 15 minutes of waiting they were warm. Another 10 minutes later the cold food arrived. Cold minced meat? NO THANKS! Burgers were mixed up on the plates. Extra sheet advertises children's menu (not available), coloring book with pens, gummy bears... The waitress didn't know anything about it/wasn't there. Have returned cold food. There wasn't much activity either. We've also been to brunch twice, and here too all the hot dishes were cold. (eggs, sausages, bacon...) We didn't come close either. Too bad! Price/performance doesn't fit here.

There were four of us for breakfast today, Sunday. Unbearable noise, overcrowded restaurant, loud clattering of dishes (despite the request to do it more quietly), we were only served when asked. The buffet was only inadequately restocked. Far too little space for too many guests. There was sometimes a long line at the buffet. All in all, not a good place for a leisurely breakfast. The decision here was certainly to generate as much sales as possible and to pay less attention to the impact on the guests. We definitely won't be coming back again.

There were four of us as registered guests in the restaurant. It was packed and everything was chaotic and disorganized. In the buffet area it was far too narrow and it was a hindrance. In the counter area where the dishwasher was located, it was extremely loud due to the dishes clattering loudly. Despite a complaint, there was no response. Conclusion: Conversing in the counter area was difficult. In the future, fewer guests and better coordination of the process.

I ordered a double espresso, I received a preheated cup with a lukewarm espresso. After I stated this when paying, the waitress replied that the espresso was hot, so I was accused of lying. Never again!!!
