Super delicious breakfast buffet. Friendly service and great value for money

Had dinner on my birthday and it was very good. Had a broccoli schnitzel.

Great ambience, buffet large selection, very clean, was super satisfied.

Top breakfast couldn't be better

We reserved a table just to make sure we got a seat. It didn't take long until we ordered the drinks and food. The ambience is great, we were there on Saturday evening around 10 p.m., enough seats available, why? The Mojito was subpar, the Maitai was anything but tasty, the non-alcoholic Pinacolada was ok. Still, the cocktails are nothing special. Schnitzel tasted ok. Like the salad, the gulach soup was the only thing that was warm. The currywurst with fries was served cold!!! Cocktails aren't a big hit and the food wasn't great either, which is a shame.

Very tasty and varied buffet. The selection was very large and there was something for everyone. Good price. The rooms are OK but a bit impersonal. The service was variable. The ladies were friendly, the gentleman devalued the quality due to his stressed manner towards himself and the other servants. The atmosphere suffered as a result. Recommended for breakfast.

We know the Extrablatt with good experience from Hanover. That's why it should also be here in Neustadt/Weinstr. get to know our friends. It was busy yesterday, so we understood that the drinks took longer. The first thing we ordered at happy hour was a MaiTai. What was missing in alcohol was oversized to the brim with ice cubes. On the second attempt we ordered Riesling spritzer. Here too, great care was taken to ensure that the alcohol content was moderate. We are more familiar with such a sad mixture from northern Germany. Finally we tried beer. The still warm beer glass (fresh from the dishwasher) quickly brought the cold beer to room temperature - quite easy on the stomach. All in all, a very (dis)sobering evening. Luckily we didn't eat anything and now we know what we can't recommend.

We went for brunch on Sunday (with a reservation). As expected, it was full, but we were served drinks quite quickly. The buffet was quite good, there was plenty of everything and it was warm. Service was friendly, despite the stress. Prices are ok, at least for brunch.

Really a shame. There were three of us there with our babies and we wanted to eat and drink together at lunchtime. The service was simply unfriendly. We don't ask for a red carpet to be rolled out for us moms, but when we made the reservation it was specifically mentioned that we would be coming with babies and strollers - and we were initially seated at a tiny (!) small table with uncomfortable chairs. We then asked to move to the neighboring table that had become vacant. We were unkindly informed that the aisle had to remain clear in any case (we had no intention of hindering the flow...). Afterwards we moved again on our own initiative, which was noted with annoyance by the waiter. Overall, we were treated condescendingly and let it be known that they were rather annoyed with us young mothers. Really a shame. It's not barrier-free here either - the area where we were seated is separated from the main room by a few steps and the toilets can only be reached from the main room via a long staircase. At least there is a changing table there. By the way, the food was good, as was the coffee. It wasn't cheap, but that wouldn't have bothered me if the service was good. Unfortunately, I would no longer come here with a baby and would like to see more appropriate treatment of families in the future.

Das gewisse Extra! Mein Hänchenschnitzel war ungenießbar, die Panade schmeckte nach ranzigem Fett. Es kam definitiv nicht aus der Pfanne. Ich habe es zurück gehen lassen. Meine Frau hatte Pommes mit Guakamole. Es waren 3 verschiedenen Dips, welche nach 5 Minuten in die Pommes eingezogen waren. Beim Bezahlen sollte ich allen Ernstes mein Gericht bezahlen, was ich aber verneinte. Da müsse sie mit dem Chef sprechen. Nach ca. 5 Minuten brachte sie mit das Geld in bar. Keine Entschuldigung weder von der Bedienung noch vom Chef, den wir nicht zu Gesicht bekommen haben. Meine Frau merkte noch an, man könnte lieber die Dips extra servieren. Wir bekamen nur ein unfreundliches „Das wird von der Zentrale so vorgeschrieben“ zu hören. Das wars dann mit dem gewissen extra.

That certain extra! My chicken schnitzel was inedible, the breading tasted like rancid fat. It definitely didn't come out of the pan. I let it go back. My wife had fries with guacamole. There were 3 different dips, which were absorbed into the fries after 5 minutes. When paying, I was seriously supposed to pay for my meal, but I said no. She has to talk to the boss. After about 5 minutes she brought the money in cash. No apology from either the waitress or the boss, who we didn't see. My wife also commented that it would be better to serve the dips separately. All we heard was an unfriendly “That’s what the headquarters says”. That was it with that certain extra.

We had to wait at least 20 minutes until we reported to the counter that we wanted to order, even though we walked past the waitress. My daughter's food was undercooked. Deep fried chicken breast sticks were raw inside. The plate was removed and a short time later it returned. The chicken was dark fried. Disgusting!!!

Food is quite ok! Service was very friendly and quick! Sitting on the old market square outside as well as inside is very nice and comfortable!

Good selection, hot dishes get cold quickly, not refilled often or takes too long to notice, people often sit close to each other But I like coming and am always relatively satisfied

A very atmospheric town worth visiting. The restaurant is located in the market square. There are beautifully preserved buildings around. The cuisine is of the European category. There are no local flavors, but everyone will probably find something for themselves here.

I like to drive 35 km, I was there every now and then on Saturdays or Mondays. A plentiful buffet whether on the weekend or during the week, friendly staff. I'm already looking forward to the next time!

We wanted to eat 2 burgers and nuggets with fries for the children at lunch today. It took about 10 to 15 minutes for the service to arrive. When the drinks came after another 15 minutes of waiting they were warm. Another 10 minutes later the cold food arrived. Cold minced meat? NO THANKS! Burgers were mixed up on the plates. Extra sheet advertises children's menu (not available), coloring book with pens, gummy bears... The waitress didn't know anything about it/wasn't there. Have returned cold food. There wasn't much activity either. We've also been to brunch twice, and here too all the hot dishes were cold. (eggs, sausages, bacon...) We didn't come close either. Too bad! Price/performance doesn't fit here.

There were four of us for breakfast today, Sunday. Unbearable noise, overcrowded restaurant, loud clattering of dishes (despite the request to do it more quietly), we were only served when asked. The buffet was only inadequately restocked. Far too little space for too many guests. There was sometimes a long line at the buffet. All in all, not a good place for a leisurely breakfast. The decision here was certainly to generate as much sales as possible and to pay less attention to the impact on the guests. We definitely won't be coming back again.

There were four of us as registered guests in the restaurant. It was packed and everything was chaotic and disorganized. In the buffet area it was far too narrow and it was a hindrance. In the counter area where the dishwasher was located, it was extremely loud due to the dishes clattering loudly. Despite a complaint, there was no response. Conclusion: Conversing in the counter area was difficult. In the future, fewer guests and better coordination of the process.

Good food, there is something for every hunger and taste. There is also an extra menu for lunch. We eat here several times a month at different times and are always satisfied.

I ordered a double espresso, I received a preheated cup with a lukewarm espresso. After I stated this when paying, the waitress replied that the espresso was hot, so I was accused of lying. Never again!!!

Poor disinterested service, after 10 minutes we no longer knew what you had ordered. We had to wait about 30 minutes for our food, but I think it had already been ready to serve for 20 minutes. Everything was literally cold. See you never!

Null. After waiting for the drinks, I waited 1 hour 15 minutes for my dish... Without success. So I left without eating. To flee.

We waited for one espresso and 2 soft drinks for almost a hour. Shame its a nice location,they should hire more staff.

Service can be expanded to the maximum

When a few classmates and I visited the cafe, I ordered the cheeseburger (without onions) with fries and a special. Unfortunately, both onion rings and fried onions on the burger (feeled more than normal, which is what you get from McDonald's) and the fries were largely oversalted. (Critical Rating by Memory: 31/100) But the other dishes should taste good (which I unfortunately couldn't rate), which is why this review shouldn't be taken too seriously.

Service is friendly and also takes care of the dog (water is offered). The interior is neatly furnished, including the toilets. Coffee with cheesecake tasted good.

We had dinner at Cafe Extrablatt in Neustadt last night and I have to say we were very happy with everything. We arrived around 7:30 p.m. and the cafe was well attended. The blonde young lady served us quickly. I think it's great that you can get iced lattes with alternative milk (oat milk) and the food was really tasty, the prices correspond to the quality. We will be back.

Bad. Only bad. We ordered drinks for 3 people at quarter to 9 in the evening. After 20 minutes they finally managed to bring our drinks. My drink was right and that of my two companions was wrong. But they wanted to sell it to us as the drinks we ordered. After another 15 minutes we pointed out to the waitress that the drinks were wrong. She took the drinks away and never came back. We've been waiting in vain for the two drinks we're missing for almost an hour! There really isn't much going on. And it's an outrage!

Have decreased significantly, especially As far as service is concerned, staff seems to be constantly being cut. After 35 minutes of waiting, the order wasn't even taken. Apart from that, the prices are now absolutely outrageous for system catering, sweet potato fries, for example, are €7(!). A sad indictment for a chain that has shown for years that Systemgastro can be done differently.

We sat down outside shortly after 12 noon, at 12:11 p.m. (that's what it says on the receipt 😉) we ordered drinks and sweet potato fries and mozzarella sticks. After about 15 minutes the drinks arrived. And when no food came shortly before 1 p.m., I asked the waiter how long the food would take since we had already been waiting for almost an hour. The only answer I got was that it would be exaggerated, it would be half an hour at most and it was midday and there would be a lot going on. Well, I already experienced the extra sheet more fully. Shortly after 1 p.m. the food arrived lukewarm. It's a shame, but we always enjoyed being there. 1 1/2 weeks before we also had a very long waiting time, but there were a lot of guests there and we were informed about the long waiting time when we ordered. At best, we will only go there if we are not hungry.

We were at Cafe Extrablatt twice on the weekend of July 12th-14th, 2024. Once on Fridays for dinner and once for breakfast. Friday: A bacon burger and a cheeseburger were ordered, and two bacon burgers were actually brought. Well, you can live with it. However, I have actually had warmer burgers. Fries were ok, the mayo had been sitting for a while, you could tell by the color on the outside and inside. But everything tasted fine here. O.. However, I don't think it's good, and in other extra sheets it's regulated differently: the dips/sauces come in disposable bowls. Why? Breakfast Sunday: We (3 people) first sat in the shade at a table with benches, but then had to move because this row of tables is reserved for groups of 4 or more people. The next table was more or less in the partial shade, so it was still okay. An absolute no-go, however, was the bench, which was totally wobbly and on the verge of collapse because the glue/screws were not only loose, but detached. The message to the service team resulted in nothing but a short yes. No exchange or anything. Hours later the bench was still standing. The breakfast itself was a disgrace for the price. Rolls were still ok, the first croissant was dry and hard. I don't think it was from the day before, but a leftover from Friday. The second attempt was ok. Choice: oh well. For almost €16 I simply have different expectations, which are also met in other Cafe Extrablatt. Meatballs e.g. B. cold despite the chafing dish, I didn't even try scrambled eggs. A little sausage, a little cheese. Service/friendliness well, coffee took a long time. And then there's the matter of the bank. I just hope that no one gets hurt if it does collapse. Cleanliness: have your dishwasher checked, 2 of the 4 plates had food residue on them. All in all, a bit of a disappointment, especially since the prices are above average. I will no longer visit the extra sheet on my next visit to Neustadt. You can't recommend it either. The location isn't everything, the market square in Neustadt is large.

You could hardly eat the food on Tuesday, but the waitress said that everyone would get these fries? I'll never have these fries in my life and I was right. I saw others there. But I won't go there anymore and we definitely won't celebrate my next birthday there. Except for the food, the service was good. It's just the food that's why I don't go there anymore.

Delicious food, great customer service and ambience. I ordered the Schnitzel, Salat mit pommes und Cola zero, it was amazing. The portion is quite filling too. The gentleman who served my friends and I was kind, professional and friendly. Awesome place to dine in with friends, family or alone. Highly recommended. Thank you.

Sweet coffee. I liked the facility. The Mexican burger was good, but nothing more. Fries were great and there was no skimping on the mayonnaise. The kiwi iced tea was something new for me and wasn't bad either. Service was very friendly. But since it was very full, the service staff were actually just running. But really accommodating.

We were there on Saturday March 9th. about the pub tour through Neustadt in the extra sheet. For this tour you pay €18 to get free entry to the locations. Even though the extra sheet was only a quarter full (around 10:50 p.m.) they didn't want to give us entry. We were only allowed in because four people happened to come out at that time. The boss then complained to security and said that they were no longer allowed in. If you're a restaurant owner who doesn't feel like going to events like this, it's best not to open on such an evening. The service was also subpar. It's a shame because the event itself, a pub tour through Neustadt, was great.

We always had to wait for rolls, scrambled eggs and fruit between courses. Unfortunately, the three of us had to squeeze into a small table.

Large selection of fresh and pickled vegetables, fresh fruit, PORRIGE and cereals, egg variations, sausage and cheese selection also vegan, salmon (Sat./Sun.) jams, honey, Nutella, large selection of bread and rolls, small. Particles, tiramisu and desserts. GREAT service staff ❣ On weekends/public holidays you should reserve in advance for at least four people.

We both ordered a burger for €18 each. Both burgers were only lukewarm to cold, as were the fries. We have complained about this. The service was friendly and took the food away with the information that the burgers would be made fresh again. We then got our half-eaten burgers back and simply warmed them up. This shouldn't happen for the money.

Great atmosphere, but the food was very poor for the price. The chicken salad was an absolute failure… No bite-sized lettuce leaves, they were the size of a football. The dressing didn't taste good and was far too little. The pizza rolls were very dry. The service is very friendly, but you have to wait at least 45 minutes until you are finally served. No recommendation from me.
