A nice restaurant, there is enough choice of delicious dishes, milk alternatives, which I personally think is very good. I like the atmosphere too.

I was there for the first time. Visually very nice ambience, nice and big and open. Nice atmosphere. Good selection on the menu, acceptable prices, short waiting times and very friendly staff. 👍

Were there for the buffet. It was quite crowded, but the overall impression was still positive. A special thank you goes to our waitress Leticia, who always had a smile on her face and was always trying hard. The food surprised us positively, nice selection and very tasty. Because it was quite full, it was relatively loud.

The homemade lemonade was quite tasty but the rest of the food was just ok. I didn't get the impression that anything was homemade. But the atmosphere is nice and the service was good.

We really like it here because the wait staff is great💫 and the brunch. The food is good, like in almost every chain. The atmosphere here is also good and it's super cozy outside. Sweep under the tables more often and check the cutlery (number, stains)😉 otherwise always like to do it👍

Unfortunately I had an unpleasant situation with Café de Sol this morning. You can make a reservation on the website, but unfortunately this does not guarantee that you will get a table. Thank God I called them before making the online reservation and was then amazed that there were supposedly no more free tables, even though an online reservation for 6 people would have worked. Answer from the employee: This is still the case from Corona times, but it doesn't mean that if you reserve online you will get a table. We then decided on another restaurant, reserved it online in advance and of course got a table. The management should urgently remove the online reservation from the website if it is not binding. We will consider going somewhere else for brunch in the future.

Absolutely not recommended, we waited almost an hour to pay. After asking several times, we were constantly ignored

Forgot part of the order, delivered too late. After we wanted to pay the answer was "it takes time". Then the wrong bill was brought, ... waiting again 😕. That was better!

It was once again very tasty. Service was really nice and accommodating. We're already looking forward to our Christmas dinner. 😋

Actually a nice restaurant and nice atmosphere, but we came at a bad time: We went there in the evening to enjoy the schnitzel holiday. We only went here because several people in our group are vegan. The first round went well, but in the second round it all ended: There were no more vegan schnitzels. It's not a bad thing in itself, but it was the solution to the problem that bothered us. We asked if there were any alternative options, but there were none. This is disappointing because there should be an appropriate solution to such a situation. However, we were only offered a schnitzel plate without schnitzel. Worst problem solving we've ever had done. The motto of the schnitzel holiday "What you want as often as you want" probably doesn't apply here...

Eating here again, Pinsa, burgers and Kid Pom Cick. And again we can only praise the service highly. Very attentive, friendly and quick. The meals were very tasty and tasty. An all-round perfect stay 👍🏻 Gladly again

Ambience very nice. However, food didn't taste good. It's very expensive for such quality of food. It's very quiet and nice and warm inside. You can also sit outside, perfect for the summer. The waiter was always ready to help, but what really bothered me in the end was that the waiter presented a display for a card payment, where he then said that I could give a tip if I wanted. It's up to each person to decide, but clicking "No" makes you feel ashamed and uneasy. Please stop using tricks like this to extract more money from customers. Drinks cost several euros. Also very overpriced.

Very nice service, great food and relaxed atmosphere

Was there for brunch. Packed to capacity, but still very friendly service staff. The food surprised me positively, a nice selection and very tasty. Every seat in the store is occupied, which makes it very loud but still OK for conversation. Positive overall impression.

Food was great. The waiters were a bit overwhelmed and the atmosphere was nice but loud.

The 1m pizza is no longer available! What a shame, it was really delicious. Today we were there as a family of 5 to try the much-praised alternative Pinsa. What a disappointment!!! A dry, completely tasteless dough that could only be swallowed by drinking at the same time. The dough then lay like a rock in the stomach. An absolute disaster. We had the variants Cesars, Tonno, Hawaï and 2x Salccicha picante. Sorry, but that was our first and last Pinsa at Cafe del Sol today 😩 Addendum 8/1/23: Went there to have a drink. After we weren't served for 10 minutes, even though several service staff passed us, we left the Café del Sol frustrated. By the way, it wasn't packed and there were 5 service staff standing around at the counter who were obviously communicating intensively with each other. They also didn't notice that we left the restaurant without being served.

We may not have been there at the best time. The buffet time was just over and things were being tidied up and rearranged. We stood in the restaurant for almost 10 minutes without anyone even looking at us. When we sat down at a free table, someone from the service came and asked us to take another table because this table was reserved. She showed us a table where we sat down. Then another service employee came and said that since there were only two of us, we should sit at a small round table. But since we wanted to eat something, we said we would rather stay seated here as the round table was too small. This was accepted, but you could tell that the service employee wasn't happy with it. After we ordered, the drinks came quite quickly and the food was at the table after a good 15 minutes. As usual, it was very tasty. However, employees should perhaps be trained to act in a customer-oriented manner in stressful situations.

It was my first time having breakfast there with the whole family. It was just perfect. It was tasty, plentiful and the service was very good. It's definitely not the last time we've been here and I would thoroughly recommend it.

Food and service great! There are deductions in the ambience due to the volume. The decor is nice and the cleanliness is very good, but the large room amplifies the conversations and music to an uncomfortable volume when it's crowded. Nevertheless, I always like to come back :-)

We have now been to the Mülheimer Café del Sol more often (8-10 times). Starting with the table reservation, through the greeting, to the service, every employee was absolutely friendly; whether there was a lot of activity or little going on - always a friendly word, always a smile. All the dishes we've eaten so far (especially mushroom schnitzel and schnitzel del sol, as well as the baguette with three sauces and the vegetarian burger) have been simply great and have "lured us back" again and again. Sometimes it's a bit louder because of the crowds, but if you want to eat alone and lonely, you're probably better off going to a drive-in. We will be happy to come back and are already looking forward to our next “short vacation” with you! The next “short vacation” was due on October 3rd, 2024. Unfortunately, the reservation had been lost in advance and at the beginning there was great shock...But the reaction on site was absolutely professional, quick and we were sitting at a great table in just a few minutes! Thanks for that! The food (we were there with six people) was served at the same time, was (as always) of top quality, and orders for drinks were received attentively. All in all, another very nice evening with absolutely friendly and recommendable hosts. Of course again!

Very nice restaurant. It invites you to spend some time together. Have breakfast together or eat properly later. The food is very tasty. The selection for breakfast is huge. The drinks menu is nothing to sneeze at either. Not exactly cheap but price and performance are great. I would go back at any time.

I don't even know where to subtract the stars... Our waiter and the food were great as always.. however our food was simply given to someone else or it was forgotten.. we asked after 60 minutes of ordering.. then it took another 20 minutes.. I don't think the staff is enough for these crowds... they're overwhelmed to the max

Top-friendly staff...Spontaneously went for brunch last Sunday and still got a good seat for the four of us without a reservation. The freshly squeezed orange juices and coffees were extra, so I think the price of €20 per person is a bit too high. Otherwise the weather cooperated, so everything was great and we returned home after 2 hours completely satisfied and well-fed.

We were here for brunch on Sunday. It was very pleasant and in my opinion not particularly crowded. The staff was great, always very friendly and totally motivated. Thank you for the great service. The buffet selection was very good and there was always enough of everything until lunchtime. I definitely recommend the brunch.

I ordered a Caesar burger + fries. The food was served cold!!! The €22 wasn't worth it!! If you visit a well-known café to eat, you should be reliable and not use arguments to justify it!!! An apology would be more appropriate here if you asked when paying whether everything was OK!!!!

Just don't push the tables together, otherwise the shift manager Nikolaj will come and lecture you about how this isn't possible. By the way, he will also give you the lecture if you have already been told by the waitress that this is not possible and you have reacted to it with understanding. We haven't eaten there for a long time, probably not in five years. We were happy with the food back then, but today is my son's birthday and we thought let's try it again! Our meal for four adults was a catastrophe, my schnitzel was frozen food from the hairdresser with fries for almost €18, the pizza, even the finished product, only improved a bit, and you were still hungry afterwards for €13! After this visit we paid and then went somewhere else to eat! It was just a birthday! The tables outside were sticky and worn! Normally I would give 0 stars because we eat out very often, but it hasn't been this bad in a long time! Have fun, eat well and experience it yourself!

Hello everyone, we were there today at half past 11 because we had reserved a table and said we would be there, The employee then looked at the PC and said I just have to clarify things with the colleague who has the list. Everything so far so good but we were left standing at the entrance like stupid for 25 minutes and the employees were at a loss because it was so crowded that they didn't know where to put us. Are simply disappointed 😞 Never experienced such bad service

Very nice and friendly staff. Food is very tasty and there is a wide selection. The only point deducted relates to the acoustics - it was hardly possible to have a conversation unless you were sitting right next to each other. But we'll definitely be happy to come back.

This is the second time we've been there and we weren't disappointed both times. Whether it's the burgers or salads, it's just great and always very good and nice service.

Been there for two. Food tasted okay. Pizza-like things were at least lukewarm, pulled turkey burgers and fries were just at room temperature. Service friendly, terrace cozy. Price/performance but not given. If you want to have a cool drink on the terrace and maybe have a snack, you're in good hands there. Not recommended as a restaurant for good food. This was the second visit within 6 months, both of which were far from "it was great".

Unfortunately, the reviews about the long wait for a waiter are true. We were just there. Quite well occupied on the outside, almost no one on the inside. We were told we could choose where we wanted. So we went to a table inside, looked through the menu and nothing happened... Unfortunately, 30 minutes after we sat down, there was still no one at the table. Instead, 5 employees milled around behind the counter, but no one came. We therefore drove to a more distant Café del Sol, where we were much friendlier and had both the waiter and our drink in our hands within 7 minutes. In any case, this is not customer-friendly. I'd rather leave my money in another Café del Sol that treats customers as such.

Actually a nice restaurant, but brunch buffet for €19.50 per person without drinks?! In my opinion this is at least €5 too expensive... The buffet is large and varied. However, it is sometimes a bit noisy in the room, which is why you have to speak louder. Only 3 stars due to poor price-performance ratio

Very nice service. I treated myself to a piece of raspberry cream cake. It was very tasty 👍. The atmosphere is very nice and you can relax very well as a guest. Always happy 😊

Went here for the breakfast buffet on a Saturday. The food was super tasty and there was a very large selection! What was positive was that even shortly before the buffet officially closed, all the dishes were still being refilled. In addition, the price is relatively cheap. Nice outside seating and consistently friendly waitresses. Absolutely to suggest!
