The food was amazingly delicious 🤤🤤🤤 and the service was very quick.

The BBQ burger was really good, but the service unfortunately ruined everything. The woman who initially served us was supposedly on break for over an hour afterward. During that time, no one else came to serve us. We received curt answers to our friendly questions. At least... A dip we ordered for our nachos couldn't be passed on to her colleague by another server, nor could she even take the order herself. In the end, we simply didn't get the dip at all. I felt sorry for the one (ultimately only) employee who was genuinely very friendly, that he had to work there. He would certainly be better off in a different establishment. Apart from him, it seemed like no one else wanted to work there at all. A real shame! I've never experienced anything like it before, but you live and learn.

Unfortunately, my visit to this restaurant was disappointing. Halfway through my meal, I found a hair in my food, which was obviously very unpleasant. I informed the staff, and their response, while friendly, was very minimal. I was offered only an apology, but no further solution or compensation. In a restaurant that prides itself on quality and service, I would have expected more—perhaps a replacement meal or at least a small gesture of reconciliation. Mistakes like this can happen, but how they are handled is crucial. I was disappointed that no further effort was made to improve the experience in this case. The meal itself was okay, but this incident unfortunately significantly tarnished the overall impression. I hope the restaurant responds better to such situations in the future.

Four of us went to eat yesterday at 6:15 p.m. We received a warm welcome and the atmosphere was nice. It was quite busy, and there seemed to be very few staff on site. It took quite a while before we could order; the food arrived after 45 minutes. Two people had ordered their fill of schnitzel. The food was delicious, but now comes the reason why it spoiled all the good stuff: they both ordered a new portion of schnitzel, with the comment that it would take 30 minutes, which would mathematically mean that we had used up 1.5 hours of the permitted 2 hours at our reserved table. Then one person wanted another helping, and I was told "we've stopped serving that." After I explained that we had ordered our fill of schnitzel and that it was no longer possible, I was told that it couldn't be changed. Then the wrong dessert arrived, and the waiter seemed anything but friendly. After that, we were able to order more schnitzel, but the 2 hours were almost up. Then, to make matters worse, the wrong dessert came again. The waiter seemed more and more annoyed. The bottom line is, the food was delicious, but there's no way you'd fill yourself up with a schnitzel, as they limit your time so you don't overeat. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it, as we left feeling rather annoyed. The only positives were the ambiance and the taste.

I went there with my wife and friends. I wanted to enjoy a schnitzel holiday at Café del Sol in Hamburg. Especially with the slogan "Whatever you want. As often as you want." So, I booked a table and went. The atmosphere was nice, but very loud. After 10 minutes, the waiter came and took our drinks and food. The drinks (2 Cokes, 1 Fanta, and a juice) arrived after a 15-minute wait. The food was served after a whopping 45 minutes. We had ordered two lasagnas and two schnitzel holidays. After the first portion was finished, we wanted a second helping. The waiter took our order, but said we would have to wait 30 minutes. We didn't care, though, because the first portion wasn't particularly large. After what seemed like an eternity, the next schnitzel arrived. This portion, however, was only half the size of the first. But that's okay. They say "Whatever you want. As often as you want." So, we enjoyed the delicious food again. Now we wanted to order again. The waiter said the kitchen had imposed a freeze on orders. So, the promise of "whatever you want, as often as you want" wasn't going to work. It was only 7:30 p.m., and since the kitchen is open until 10 p.m., that couldn't have been the reason. Now, a quick word about the service. The plates aren't cleared after the meal. I'm really sorry to say this. But the restaurant is great on the outside, but terrible on the inside. I wouldn't recommend it.

Tonight, the three of us wanted to eat at Cafe Del Sol in Hamburg – unfortunately, it turned out to be more of an odyssey. Despite having a reservation, we were seated at a table still laden with old glasses, a bottle, a cup, and even old reservation cards. When we pointed it out, the first waitress said she wasn't allowed to clear anything except the coffee cup – and then left. The second waiter eventually cleared everything but only took orders from neighboring tables. When we finally ordered, it took about 40 minutes for the food to arrive. There was exactly one napkin on the table; we only received more after asking twice. As soon as one of us had finished, our plates were immediately cleared – according to the staff, "we're instructed to do this." To finish, we ordered coffee, which took another ten minutes. The decor was really pretty and the food delicious – the service, however, was a clear downside for us: uncoordinated from the start, repeatedly inattentive, and ultimately simply frustrating. We felt more like we were being brushed off than looked after throughout the evening. In a nutshell: Pros: - Very atmospheric decor - Delicious food Cons: - Noticeably long wait for the food - Multiple requests needed before someone could help - Upon arrival, a dirty table with old glasses/bottles and old reservation cards - Premature dismissal in the middle of the party Conclusion: This was our first and, unfortunately, last visit.

I waited 20 minutes to be served, even after approaching two employees. After the last employee I approached had to ask the bar who was actually serving my table, which, surprisingly, turned out to be her, she finally came to my table after 25 minutes. By that time, a couple at the next table, who had arrived shortly after me and also hadn't been served despite repeated requests, had left. Not a word of apology, even though the lady was aware of the 20-minute wait. My question about the team leader was answered with an incomprehensible name. After so much ignorance and a complete lack of empathy and service, I decided to leave. I've enjoyed being a guest here since 2007, but I've never experienced anything like this. By the way: Why don't you remove the prominent supplementary cards with weekday-specific offers from the menus on days when they're not valid? Even though you gave me plenty of time to choose, as I described, I didn't plan on getting an "overview" for next week—but maybe the plan was to wait that long. My plan was actually just to get something to eat. Today.

The staff were mostly very attentive and, without exception, very friendly 👍 We took advantage of the "Schnitzel Holiday" promotion and tried various schnitzel variations. You can reorder all variations in half size, with or without salad and/or fries. Unfortunately, the noise from the nearby, busy street is a bit unpleasant when sitting outside. Upon entering, we were told it would close at 11 a.m. After waiting for 10 minutes, because we thought someone would come for drinks, we went to get some food. After all, we were pressed for time. If you're looking for overpriced, much too small portions, this is the place for you. Example: For a handful of baby potatoes, with two cherry tomatoes and greens, you'll pay just under €11. If you're 6 years old and don't have high expectations, you might be full. The food was generally very mediocre. The service was a disaster, rude and unmotivated. He didn't care that my potatoes were cold; I told another waiter, and he took immediate action. When the bill came, things got even more funny. They charged me for things that weren't actually ordered. Example: Ordered a small dip, charged for a large dip. Today we had a chain restaurant. This time: Café del Sol. We were at the one in Hamburg, but the one in Bremen has the same menu (and recipes). A chain restaurant, in other words.😃 I was actually looking forward to the teriyaki spare ribs. Sounds great. But unfortunately, it only opens at 1 p.m., and we arrived at 11:40 a.m. Oh well, brunch then. That was really very good, too. A huge selection of sausages and cheeses, cereals, and sweet treats.😋 They also had sausages, bacon, mini meatballs, and scrambled eggs, perfect. I thought the mini bowls of salmon were silly, but I guess less wasted that way. The salad with an excellent dressing was very crisp and fresh. And there was nothing to complain about the hot food either: the bami goreng was very good, and the cevapcici weren't spicy, but they were still nicely flavorful. The absolute highlight, however, was the gratinated smoked pork and sauerkraut casserole with potatoes. Caro and I would have liked a bit more sauerkraut in it, but no matter: man, it was delicious!!😋😋 The service was also very good. Bottom line: Brunch at Café del Sol, yes, you can do it.👍

Highly recommended for Sunday brunch. You can even bring dogs (as long as they behave). It's a shame that there aren't enough parking spaces for the restaurant. Parking is relatively expensive, and you don't just sit around for an hour for brunch.

We were there for brunch on a Sunday. The individual tables were very close together, which made walking to the buffet extremely difficult. The cold cuts were okay. There was only one type of roll. The croissants were very small and stuck together. Perhaps underbaked. There were no labels on the hot dishes, and they were all just soggy. The dessert buffet also consisted of just some stuck-together pieces of dough. I couldn't figure out what they were. The service was nice and friendly. It was extremely loud, which we found very unpleasant.

I haven't been here in a long time, and we ordered lunch with a friend. First of all, there's plenty of parking outside. Very positive. Second, everything inside and out is pretty well maintained. The manager seems to place a high value on this, as I didn't see anything defective or bad. We each had a chicken meal with fries, and it was really delicious. Unfortunately, we weren't filled, but that's not a big deal. We paid €35 ​​for two meals plus two large drinks, and I personally found that quite reasonable. The staff were also friendly, welcoming, and always nearby. The café offers plenty of space and is pretty well maintained. Of course, you can also arrange group meetings or celebrate birthdays here... I found the atmosphere quite cozy... Unfortunately, I can't comment on the restrooms because I didn't need them. Last time, I gave it 4 stars, but now I think this café deserves 5 stars because I didn't notice anything constructively negative or critical that day. Respect to the café, it seems to always uphold its image, and you can see from both the outside and inside that the management clearly places a lot of importance on appearance. The food was delicious. The prices are absolutely reasonable. It's right on a main road, and in that direction, there's a large covered veranda. It's actually great, but the back side would be quieter and much more pleasant. The tables are quite close together. If your neighbor bumps into you while sitting down, it's not their fault due to the tight space. One less table in the row would be much better. Our order was taken shortly before the shift change. The result was that the previous shift took our order and brought drinks and the appetizer. Then it was apparently the shift change, and when clearing the table, they forgot to call for the main courses, which was only discovered upon inquiry. This seems to have been an organizational problem. As an apology, they offered us a free drink...there were two of us, we had both ordered, and we waited accordingly. But at least we got something and a polite apology. So, it's okay. We'd probably go again. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos for you today 😁.

Ate a la carte 14 days ago, and today at the brunch buffet: First, we were asked to choose free seats from a designated area. Then, quite some time later, when we thought it was finally time to order drinks, we were asked to sit somewhere else entirely... There, too, it took forever until someone finally came to take our drinks, which was really annoying. A long time after the appetizer, I asked where the two main courses were... "Oh, my colleague must have forgotten them." They arrived very quickly. When I tried the last bite of my friend's burger, I realized why it suddenly went so fast: The patty was bone dry and rock hard! Unfortunately, my friend didn't want to say anything after all that waiting and just wanted to eat. Okay, we thought, a la carte doesn't seem to be their strong suit, but we wanted to try the buffet again after several years. Unfortunately, we had to endure a truly extreme wait again today, and that was just for a drink order... the buffet is self-service... 35 minutes after placing our order, the drinks arrived... sorry, the rest was forgotten. The café latte was lukewarm because it had been sitting at the bar the whole time, waiting to be picked up, within my sight... the forgotten drink arrived promptly. When we wanted to pay there after 2.5 hours, the same problem arose. No one came to us, even though it was just before 1 p.m. and had become very empty... when we got up and wanted to pay because no one came, we were asked to go back to our table. The table was still as full as it had been for the past few hours, because nothing was cleared away. Sorry, but on both days it really wasn't full; a couple at the table next to us even got up and left because they also didn't get their drinks.

From the moment you arrive, you feel like you're on vacation in this beautiful, colonial-style villa. The ambiance is simply unique and immediately invites you to relax and enjoy yourself. The food was simply delicious from start to finish. The menu offers a fantastic and diverse selection, with something for everyone. The burgers are particularly juicy and perfectly prepared, but we also highly recommend the pasta dishes and the crispy pinsa. You can tell that the emphasis is on fresh ingredients and careful preparation. The portions are more than fair, and the value for money is absolutely spot on. What really made the visit perfect, however, was the exceptionally friendly and attentive staff. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we received warm and courteous service. We immediately felt welcome, and our every wish was fulfilled with a smile. Such great service is not something you can take for granted these days and deserves high praise! Conclusion: Café del Sol is the ideal place for a little break from everyday life. If you want to enjoy delicious food in a beautiful setting with first-class service, this is the place for you. We'll definitely be back soon!

First, we had to wait 2.5 hours for our food, and what came next was wow. It was literally a deep-fried rat with two rolls, and that was supposed to be the burger. 🧌. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're a complete game meat fanatic. So, if you feel like trying something new (like a rat or a pigeon), this is a great place.

We've been there a few times for brunch and dinner. The former is very good. The buffet has a sufficiently varied menu. The menu is okay. The previous dishes were also, even if nothing stood out. What I found really mediocre during our recent visit was the portion of mayo with the fries. Sorry, but given the prices for the dishes, please fill your little bowls and not just a third. I found that really questionable. That stuff probably isn't a game-changer in terms of sales. ;-) Even though it's permitted under all restaurant rules, when there's no wind outside in the summer, the terrace smells truly disgusting of stale cigarette smoke. That really spoiled my fun on my last visit. Probably due to the numerous ashtrays on every table. They're there even when no one is sitting there. Perhaps a seat at the edge of the terrace would be more advantageous in this regard. I'll at least try it next time.

I'd been wanting to go there for a long time because of the interesting ambiance. The reviews were also promising. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed on our first visit. The tables outside on the terrace hadn't been wiped down. There were full ashtrays at all the tables. It was definitely not inviting. So we decided to sit inside. We each ordered a pinsa and a pasta Napoli, as well as mini potatoes. The drinks came first, about 20 to 30 minutes before the food. The pasta and potatoes arrived about 10 to 15 minutes before the pinsa. Since there were three of us at the table, it would have been better if the whole meal had arrived together. After the meal, we each had a chocolate cake and an almond cake, along with two cappuccinos. The cappuccinos arrived about 15 to 20 minutes before the cakes. The cappuccinos were served lukewarm, and by the time the cakes arrived, they were cold. The cakes were also cold and didn't taste good at all. See photo.

The two of us went to brunch on Mother's Day. As expected, it was very full, but there was no crowd at the buffet and the food was delicious. The service, however, really left a lot to be desired. Admission only started shortly after 11:30 a.m. and took a long time, so we didn't get inside until 11:45 a.m. We were once asked at the beginning what we wanted to drink and then the drinks were no longer taken into account. I went to the waitress for the 2nd round of drinks. When the drinks came she noticed the table was full and said she would come and clear it straight away, but unfortunately that didn't happen. In 2 hours 15 minutes the table wasn't cleared once. The two of us left almost €60 behind and were really annoyed by the poor service.

The waitress who mainly served us was basically nice. Hence the 2 stars. As a trained specialist, I find the whole service process to be a bit underground. But unfortunately you often see that in large chain restaurants. The personal touch is missing and you feel more like sushi on the all-you-can-eat treadmill. We still had a nice evening and it would be nice if in the future you would be served more by trained and trained staff in the restaurants who do the job out of passion and not for the money.

We were there today for Easter brunch. My daughter has a lot of intolerances and a really great meal was prepared for her even though there was so much going on today. Thank you

Been here again for a long time (due to Corona) and have to say that unfortunately it will be the last time. You wait for hours to place your order and then only half of our group gets a drink, the rest only upon request, even though they ordered at the same time. The price of the food has risen exorbitantly. We had to leave empty dishes at the next table ourselves, but unfortunately no one came to clear them away, not even when asked, let alone to ask if we would like to order anything else. We would have drunk a lot more if someone had come over, and it wasn't even full. Service has deteriorated so much. I had heard this from many people and now experienced it first hand. It's a real shame - it used to be so great here.

The service today was a complete disaster. We even saw some people get up and leave without ordering because they were taking too long. I didn't even get my ordered drink and had to ask for it several times.

We really liked it, great location

We were there for dinner on March 27th. Shortly after entering the restaurant, we noticed an unpleasant smell from the toilet, which was then unbearable in the toilet rooms themselves. Something should definitely be done! We were there with 5 people and 2 of us (both ate burgers) had stomach cramps and diarrhea after the visit.

Apart from the fact that you might want to or have to go for brunch in Jenfeld or Tonndorf because people you know live there: there is absolutely no reason to go out for coffee or coffee in this restaurant. the brunch is incredibly unimaginative. the quality corresponds to metro or commercial kitchens. Nothing, absolutely nothing, is of high quality. It's okay at best, but for 21€ brunch you can also buy it together at Aldi. The whole thing is even available in good or organic versions, so even nice, attentive waitresses don't save the day. just stay away, forget that it exists and is good

Unfortunately I am very disappointed! On Thursday evening we sat outside. There was no service after 20 minutes. When asked, a waitress came, took the order and the drinks came after a few minutes. However, after eating I had to ask again after 40 minutes. We didn't like the food at all! It's not like it was back then. Furthermore, our request to turn on the gas heater was rejected on the grounds that there was no gas. No alternative to cover was offered

We were there today with 34 people and celebrated our 60th birthday, everything was great and the service was really great. We can only recommend that.

Cafe del Sol took me in like a son. When I was really hungry, there wasn't a restaurant anywhere except Cafe del Sol with REALLY GOOD FOOD. This Putinschnizel was REALLY DELICIOUS wow. And the waitress was also super nice and gave us food at the last second (she needs a hearing aid hehe). SUPER atmosphere, I felt like I was in Pyramid from Minecraft

Super tasty and very nice staff

We came here again for dinner after a long time. The food is still consistently very good, served hot and with great taste. Even small special requests are easily fulfilled. The only downer is the acoustics within the restaurant. It is very loud with just a few guests. Nevertheless, I can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience.

The food is ok standard. There's nothing wrong with that. The drinks are delicious. The location is cool and the staff is attentive and friendly. BUT !!!! The fact that the toilets smell worse than at a train station is an absolute NO GO. This screams of a lack of thorough cleaning. This shouldn't happen in the catering industry. Just really bad in the ladies' room.
