I celebrated my birthday there with my family about 3 weeks ago. We were all very excited (until yesterday) We ordered two schnitzels with sweet potato fries (like last time) for whatever reason it wouldn't be so easy to order the said schnitzel with sweet potato fries... but the menu says "you can also just have sweet potato fries" after some back and forth It probably worked out after all. The food is very tasty, you can't say anything bad about it. Our friends ordered a small one (half a pizza), which unfortunately was left under a lamp for a few minutes before it was served... so the base was very, well, it tasted very old... Then it was about paying, 3 drinks, 2 schnitzels €41 ok no problem... paid and everything was fine, then the waitress said she had forgotten to charge for the sweet potato fries. When she then said €11.20 for two portions of sweet potato fries, we were subtly shocked.. especially since the menu says €2.90.. The manager couldn't be spoken to and the waitress said it was a large portion.. No, not really.. It's a shame actually we chose the restaurant as our new favorite restaurant.. they don't have any fun with a number like that..

Unfortunately, today we've been at del Sol for a long time and it's always been average. Unfortunately, today was a situation that was in no way acceptable. My wife originally asked for a vegan sauce during the schnitzel holiday. They said that we could just order the vegan schnitzel, then it would be vegan. We then asked again because we actually only wanted the sauce to be vegan, as it is made without butter and milk (allergy) This was confirmed again that the sauce was vegan. The food came, we tried it and thought, hey, that's the tastiest vegan hollandaise we've ever tried. Since it tasted like the normal one, we asked another server. We were then told that the sauce was always vegan. When I looked at the menu, I noticed that the sose didn't say vegan, of course, but instead was vegetarian and had milk in it. When asked, the only answer was; Yes, no, the mayo is vegan. I then checked again and of course the mayo is not vegan but only vegetarian. My wife was now allowed to leave after 30 minutes and can go straight to the doctor. Thanks for that... Sorry, unfortunately not again.

🍔 Cozy evening with great food 🍔 We had a lovely and cozy evening here with great food. The service was very nice and the food came relatively quickly even though it was quite busy. The food was very tasty and the portions were OK (but not suitable for those who are very hungry). 🍔 Second visit for a schnitzel holiday 🍔 “All you can eat” schnitzel for €18.90, who can say no to that? There is a choice of 5 different schnitzel dishes (Vienna style, pepper sauce, mushroom cream sauce, etc.) as well as the choice between pork/turkey/vegan schnitzel. Each dish is served with fries and a small salad. It was super tasty and there was almost no wait between orders. Unfortunately, after the 5th plate I was over, who offers more?

The “Happy Day” breakfast was very tasty and the quantity was more than plentiful. There was also a bread basket with 1 croissant, 1 light roll and 1 darker roll

It was delicious, but the Champions sauce was a bit scarce

We had lunch there and had a vegetarian burger and a schnitzel. Price/performance is okay, the food tasted good. We had our dog with us, that wasn't a problem. There is a watering station for dogs and the waiters were very friendly towards her too. We will definitely come back again.

Cafe Del Sol Garbsen: Food like in a snack bar, prices like in a star restaurant. I had a handful of fries with a small turkey schnitzel and some sauce for just under 20 euros. A "salad" was listed on the menu, which consisted of exactly one cocktail tomato halved in the middle and placed on about 5 leaves of iceberg lettuce. That's not a salad, that's an impudence. The cola that I had with it cost well over 5 euros and the glass was half filled with ice cubes. At the end of November there are no excuses that this would be necessary to keep the drinks cool. The service was friendly but poorly trained. The food for our table was always served from one side and then had to be distributed by the guests (a round table in the middle of the room). Questions about the food could not be answered satisfactorily either. The ambience is like in any Cafe Del Sol, I like it, even if the acoustics are terrible and you're always sitting on the presentation plate, no matter which table you're at. If the prices were half as high, my expectations would be the same. A self-chosen fate.

Always enjoy coming here. The last time I suffered was 5 years ago. Today was a relaxed lunch atmosphere. The service was very quick and, above all, very nice. I had a BBC burger. Very, very, mega delicious. (I always taste a piece of just the meat. It was very well seasoned and fried. And also well topped with cucumber, tomato arugula and bacon and, above all, the delicious braised red onions. And the sauce in just the right amount.) One absolutely successful preparation. Room ambience typical of Cafe del Sol. Clean. Also the toilet area. Gladly again at the next opportunity.

Week 46/2024 I was here again on a Thursday evening for dinner with friends. Unfortunately it was incredibly loud and you couldn't have a pleasant conversation. Re-ordering drinks was extremely difficult as rarely anyone showed up. Due to the loud echoing noise, those present also decided to only visit the restaurant in the summer to sit outside.

The music is a little too loud.

Unfortunately there is hardly anything here for vegans. If you look at the menu, you might think that an alternative diet has not yet been established here. The vegan schnitzel is nothing great, on the contrary, it's 10 times tastier when made at home. The shop is chic and cozy. There's nothing to complain about about the service either. The only drawback was that the windows in the toilets were open and it was significantly too cold.

Very good value for money at brunch, friendly service. Reservations are definitely recommended. However, it is very, very loud inside. Private conversations on a small scale are hardly possible.

It was very loud. You could hardly have a conversation. The menu was very burger-heavy. The salad consisted mainly of green lettuce.. The Currywurst has been waiting for a customer for a long time.

Unfortunately you only get breakfast until 11 a.m., we were there at 11:05 a.m. and only had a coffee. This means that Cafe de Sol is no longer a breakfast location for us.

It's outrageous what you get to take away for €10.90... a Caesar salad that is microscopic! What a disgrace to charge such a price for a handful of salad! Never again !!!

We were there for the breakfast buffet. The supply compared to previous years has decreased significantly. Many things have been slimmed down and some are no longer there at all. There were no more boiled eggs an hour before the end of the buffet. The wait for a glass of Cola (open the glass bottle, bring a glass with ice cubes) also took an extremely long time. The men's room looked completely dirty. Price performance, no longer fits here at all. Elsewhere there is a breakfast buffet for 16.90 euros, including coffee, juice or cocoa... I can advise everyone to compare and assume that you are better off somewhere else.

I had brunch with my little one for the first time and I was very disappointed. Breakfast was great, but the supposed lunch was a total failure. Chicken both spicy, noodles cold and the champions too. In addition, this cannot be called lunch because it was very, very lean. I hope this will change in the near future with better quality and selection. The price is outrageous. The service, however, was top.

Thai curry is terribly bad. My review is about this dish, perhaps others are better. But unfortunately the Thai curry was really disgusting, I couldn't finish it. The rice (long grain?) doesn't work at all, so you have to use jasmine rice. But apart from that, the curry was bland and didn't taste like anything. And the vegetables look like a ready mix from the freezer. When I was clearing up I was just asked if I wanted to take the rest (the still relatively untouched dish) with me. After a friendly no, thank you, there was unfortunately no question as to whether it wasn't tasty. It was then billed as normal. Otherwise the service was friendly so still 3/5 stars. But I'm still annoyed that I paid €18 and that there wasn't even a 'sorry it didn't taste good'. Yes, maybe you shouldn't order an Asian dish in a German restaurant - but if you can't do it, you shouldn't offer it.

Since the last visit (more than a year ago) the service and the food have improved again. The ribs with the sweet potato fries tasted very good. The classic, Sol's schnitzel, is also a good choice here.

Opening times are adapted to the location. The prices are already an announcement for a buffet at €19, but the eye is also there. Coffee and other drinks were okay. Reserved space because it had to be that way, everything worked out well. The staff was good during our visit. The buffet was good and rich. The little sausages look a bit strange, but they were tasty. The light output above the buffet was a bit too weak for my taste. The hot dishes could have been a bit warmer, in my opinion. The selection was good and extensive. The atmosphere, air was good. But I still have a hard time with the 5th star.

I really enjoyed the schnitzel but urinated on the floor in the toilets and that was really extreme, a laugh...

Great for sitting, eating and relaxing. We paid €60 for 3 main courses and 3 drinks, which is great value for money. The ambience is very nice. You can also sit outside under a roof. The condition was quick and very nice. We'd love to come back

There is no home cooking here. I had a bowl with additional chicken. All the ingredients were frozen products (even the rice) and tasted like "Frosta". Never again!

Food 3.5/5 Da hier immer nur gebruncht wurde, bezieht sich die Bewertung und das Essen eher nur auf das Brunchen. Hier muss man sagen, dass da Essen zwar gut geschmeckt hat und natürlich so gut wie für jeden was dabei ist. Jedoch gibt es hier absolut keine Variationen. Es ist immer das selbe und leider auch nicht wirklich viel Auswahl. Es schmeckt aber gut. Leider (vor allem Brötchen) sind nur Industrie Sachen, schmecken auch demnach und vor allem sind es micro Brötchen. Also naja.. muss jeder für sich entscheiden. Service 3/5 Aufgrund des Brunches hat man ohnehin weniger Kontakt zum Service. Leider wirken diese ständig überfordert und man wartet sehr lange auf die Bestellung der Getränke, sowie auch auf das bringen der Getränke. Auch das Abräumen ist selten, manchmal hat sich schon ein kleiner schiefer „Pisa Turm“ gestapelt. Auch wird erst auf mehrmals auf sich aufmerksam machen, nachgefragt ob noch etwas gewünscht ist. Auch nicht so toll, auch schon anders erlebt. Preis-/Leistung 3/5 Was soll ich sagen. Eigentlich ist es noch im Rahmen und irgendwie auch nicht. Natürlich bezahlt man die Lage und alles drum rum mit. Aber im Großen und Ganzen ist es dann doch zu viel, für das was man bekommt. Es wurde bereits auch in anderen Lokalen gespeist und gebruncht und dort bekommt man für sein Geld viel mehr. Fazit: Kann man als Alternative oder Abwechslung mal machen, es gibt jedoch definitiv besseres. Bon Appetit 🤌🏼

Location/ambience 5/5 Café del Sol really gets full marks here. It's very big, it's cozy, it looks inviting. No parking problems. Everything is just right! Food 3.5/5 Since only brunch was served here, the rating and the food only refer to brunch. I have to say that the food tasted good and of course there was something for just about everyone. However, there are absolutely no variations here. It's always the same and unfortunately there isn't really much choice. But it tastes good. Unfortunately (especially rolls) they are only industrial things, they taste that way and above all they are micro rolls. So well.. everyone has to decide for themselves. Service 3/5 Because of the brunch you have less contact with the service anyway. Unfortunately, they constantly seem overwhelmed and you wait a long time for the drinks to be ordered and for the drinks to be brought to you. Clearing away is also rare; sometimes a small leaning “Pisa Tower” has already piled up. You will also first draw attention to yourself several times and ask if there is anything else you would like. Not that great either, I've experienced it differently. Price/performance 3/5 What can I say. Actually it's still within the framework and somehow not. Of course you pay for the location and everything around it. But overall it's too much for what you get. The Café del Sol always offers a cozy atmosphere. The food is delicious and the staff (almost always) very friendly and helpful.

Nice restaurant area if you take a place a bit away from the road which is behind the hedge. Nevertheless the food is still too much convenience food and that’s of course not good. Better make a smaller menu card and cook fresh!

We both ordered “Schnitzelurlaub” there a few weeks ago. The schnitzel was at a takeaway level at best! I complained on site and we were informed that the schnitzels were actually fried frozen (keyword “cheap schnitzel”) The waiter was very “nice” but at the same time he said that he didn't care because he didn't have any say. Our conclusion: Never again Café Del Sol because the price does not match the quality

Brunch delicious and varied! - Unfortunately we only had to go after looking for a spoon (for dessert) - it was Easter??! TIP for staff - cutlery in one place! Better for us! Otherwise very attentive - nice - staff!

Opinion changes. Well, the service has gotten worse. Last time she was much nicer and only changed when she didn't give a tip, now the indifference was palpable from the very beginning, we didn't get cutlery or napkins to wipe our hands with the burger since we had to use them to eat. After the food was served, no one came over to ask if we needed anything, and while serving other guests, they walked away without looking at other customers. The burger itself, which used to be great, is now just average. The price is too high for the quality.

A relaxing stay awaits you here, in a nice atmosphere. The staff are friendly and joke around, which made our evening even better. The food was very tasty and the portions are reasonable. All in all, we felt very comfortable there and will definitely come back.

Ambience good, service friendly but uncertain and slow, quality of food was borderline. I have celiac disease and it was confirmed to me that the allergens are all identified. That wasn't the case and the food I ordered wasn't listed for allergens on the menu when I asked. After I insisted, the waitress came back from the kitchen with the answer that the food was not gluten-free. I was still charged for it, although of course I didn't eat any of it. My husband's burger was quite bland and topping no. 1 was plastic from a Coke bottle cap, topping no. 2 was a dead fly. The burger wasn't charged for, but unfortunately we won't be seeing the restaurant again.

Had breakfast at Cafe Del Sol for my birthday. If you make a reservation in advance, you can easily go with a larger group. I find the location and the whole ambience very appealing and harmonious. There was a lot on offer for breakfast, unfortunately when it comes to vegetarians and vegans they could have offered a little more. It didn't affect me personally, but there was a lack of vegetarian sausage and spreads, for example. You could also cater to your wishes with “normal” coffee. Several found the coffee to be too weak. When asked, we were told that nothing could be done and that the machine was set up like that. Normally you can adjust the strength or amount of coffee powder or beans in every machine. The last point I found was that at the end no one came and asked if anyone would like something to drink. At the beginning it felt like someone came every 10 minutes. But overall it was very nice.

We were there for the breakfast buffet. The food was very good, but the prices for drinks are a bit overpriced. The service staff were a bit inattentive, probably because there weren't enough of them. A clear recommendation for the buffet :)

As soon as we arrived at the large parking lot (Sunday, May 26, 2024), the bright building made its impact with the blue sky and bright sunshine! It seemed a bit exotic, like a lodge in Africa or on the Mississippi... At least the first impression was positive. The somewhat dark, high interiors also fit in very well. The huge, covered terrace also made an impression and fit into the picture... The ambience alone made you curious. The tempting smells made me hungry. The extensive buffet left nothing to be desired! Many types of rolls and bread! Countless types of sausage and cheese! At brunch also scrambled eggs, bacon and the small Nuremberg sausages. Lots of little treats... Drinks as usual: coffee, cocoa and teas. But also different juices. The service was very nice and helpful! The prices are still acceptable... Everything together invites you to linger and if you can't find anything to suit your taste here, you can't help it...

We were there for brunch on Sunday. First the positive. The service was very good. Attentive, kind and always there. The iced tea (peach and pomegranate) were very tasty. The negative. In my opinion the buffet is not worth the money. The breakfast part is 0815. Almost everything is frozen or ready-made. The joke was the brunch part. Freshly cooked? Dry penne, hash browns that were in the deep fryer too long, chicken wings and chili. 🤣 sorry, that was nothing. Plus it's extremely loud when it's full.
