Cafe Del Sol Fulda in Petersberg

The atmosphere in Café del Sol is always great and the staff are friendly and competent. The food is also delicious, but I would never have brunch again. The cold buffet is great, the warm dishes are not convincing at all. Everything that was quickly made in the deep fryer. Rösti, fish nuggets, potato wedges, cordon bleu, with rice and round peppers. Very disappointing. You can easily order from the menu.

I'm from Lake Constance and were actually there every 2 weeks on Sunday... Service on Sunday was great But today it was a total disaster, starting with the unfriendly service... Fries half cold chicken fresh from the fridge just on top…. Unfortunately Pinsa is also cold… Not recommended during the week

A really nice atmosphere and basically invites you to linger. Unfortunately, our visit was a bit mixed. The service seemed rather planned - taking the order wasn't easy, which made the start a bit bumpy. We assume that our waitress was still quite new to the team and therefore viewed it with leniency. The food was okay, but unfortunately nothing more than that. The burger was quite dry, the curry was a bit bland and the fries were quite soft - there was definitely room for improvement in terms of taste. Conclusion: OK for a quick stop, but it didn't really convince us from a culinary point of view.

For me one of the best locations in Fulda! As soon as you enter you feel very comfortable! Everything tastefully decorated! Everything is very big and you can sit outside in good weather! Everything is very clean and tidy! Many dishes are simply delicious and prepared with a lot of love! The service is super nice and you get very good advice! The last time I had the pork schnitzel with a super delicious mushroom cream sauce and 🍟 with a small salad! Meeega... the only thing I would have to complain about is that the BBQ burger and all burgers are served on their own paper base on the board... I don't think it's that great because you always cut the paper and sometimes have it in your mouth and my burgers are always not hot but rather lukewarm! When I asked why that had to be like that, they replied that in terms of hygiene there was no other way that all burgers were served on a paper base must! It's a shame! What really stands out is your homemade passion fruit mango ice cream! For me it's one of the best ice creams around (thanks for thinking of us lactosin-tolerant people too) but we'll be happy to come back

The service was friendly, but had no idea what the difference was between Cafe Crema without milk and cappuccino with foamed milk. The scrambled eggs with mushrooms were only lukewarm, which means it stood too long before it was served. The baked white flour rose roll is not of good quality, totally floury on the outside & sticky on the inside, fresh rolls would be better here. Coffee and scrambled eggs were not served at the same time, we waited longer even though 5 smaller tables were occupied and there were several employees. The waitress came more often, which gave the impression that she would have liked to charge us, but it was a bit annoying of her.

we have order burgers and Chips and Nachos. they asked me that u want some dip or sause. it was costing also 1.20 i said no we do not need extra dips. after that we get the food without any of Sause or dip. these food items are served with some sause and Dips. which belings to these food. Burgers were very good but Nachos and Chips were very bad. i will deduct 2 stars for that. i will suggest that if you want to served burgers or something to ur costomers. please served with Ketchup or Mayo because these are served with this food everywhere in this world. best regards and will love to visit again in next months and i hope the food quality and suggestion will be implemented.

It's simply wonderful here. We feel like we're here every other Sunday. It really has a wonderful, feel-good atmosphere where you just want to linger for a few hours. The service is also really nice and, above all, very attentive, which I really appreciate... keep it up...

Despite some children in our group who sometimes went a bit overboard, the service was always friendly and the food was very good.

Four of us ordered food. After about 40 minutes, two meals arrived. One meal was completely forgotten, and the other was apparently not ready yet. An hour later, while the other two had already finished theirs, the remaining two meals arrived. One was fresh and warm, the other absolutely cold and inedible. Our follow-up questions about the food were met with an extremely unfriendly and snippy response, even though we simply wanted our food and were hungry. Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience.

The last time we were there was for the breakfast buffet. Very large, tasty selection, nice staff, clean shop. What more could you want? The price of the buffet is very good.

The food was OK but nothing special for me. The presentation was good. Unfortunately, the service was a bit overwhelmed and there was confusion with billing. I was there with a group of about 15 people. Still had a nice evening.

We went to brunch as a small group on Sunday. The buffet offered a good selection, including hot dishes. However, the selection of brunch essentials left much to be desired – especially the bread rolls were very limited. Furthermore, some items were replenished very slowly or not at all, even though the buffet was supposed to be available for another three hours. I was particularly negatively surprised that no drinks were included in the buffet – neither simple filter coffee nor tap water. I've never experienced this before and found it completely unreasonable given the price. Furthermore, despite having enough space, our group was seated right next to a larger group. This made it neither cozy nor comfortable – the chairs were back to back, and some of us sat right next to the coat rack. Unfortunately, changing tables wasn't possible.

Spare ribs incredibly bad, way too dry, hardly any sauce, fries not much better than the ones from home. Burger also very dry topping rather unresponsive and any dips weren't exactly tasty, the only good things were the drinks and the ambience. Wouldn't come back to eat, the rest was great

The burger was the worst burger I've ever had. Dusty dry roll, probably lying around somewhere for half an hour. The meat was completely fried and probably kept warm somewhere for an hour. Maybe that's why I waited so long. A small slice of tomato, a slice of cucumber and about 1 teaspoon of mayo. Even if I hated someone, I wouldn't serve that person something like that.

Can't make decent drinks. Cocktails are not tasty and the wheat is not chilled.

A great visit to Café del Sol Fulda! I ordered the schnitzel with hollandaise sauce and fries – a really good choice. The schnitzel was nice and crispy, the sauce was creamy and tasty, and the fries were perfectly golden brown and crispy. There was also a small fresh salad as a side dish. Noticed positively: ✅ Good portion & delicious taste ✅ Fresh ingredients & crispy schnitzel ✅ Friendly service & nice ambience Plus a refreshing drink – what more could you want? The CdS used to be really great. Ordered a lasagna with a side salad today: mini portion, microwaved, hot on the outside, cold on the inside, taste okay and a bowl of salad as much as fits in a cupped hand. With a water: €25 in total. That's beyond cheeky. So never again.

We went there with part of our family for New Year's Eve dinner. The service staff had a lot to do but everything went smoothly. The food was good too.

The breakfast was ok but not a highlight. Dogs are allowed in. The service was friendly, helpful and engaging. The ambience itself was quite nice. However, the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Table was cleaned at customer request. But you really need to clean behind the sofas! Dust and cobwebs are visibly spreading.

The food was very nice, but it’s not worth the money. The waiters constantly bother you, asking if you need anything, so you can't relax. They take away half-empty glasses just to keep your table empty so you'll order more. We already spent 52 euros on two hamburgers and three drinks. I get that it’s okay, but it’s very pushy. How much do you want us to pay for two people, 200 euros? It's shameful.🤬

The schnitzel holiday advertises that you can eat as much as you want. Well, you should also bring a lot of time. We were only able to place the second order 40 minutes after we had finished the first round. Our daughter, 4, actually didn't feel like waiting anymore. The whole thing was at an early time when the restaurant was only half full. The staff walked past us several times and saw that we had empty plates. The 2nd portion is smaller (which I would like to understand, but then you shouldn't cut the schnitzel in half after frying. It doesn't look nice and you think you're just getting leftovers from another schnitzel that went back). Unfortunately, the whole thing doesn't have any was fun. Too bad

I order a burger, my companion only wants fries - is it possible to serve that at the same time as a burger? No! The fries arrived easily half an hour before my burger was even in sight. I sat there, watched my companion finish her food, and then was allowed to eat alone while she was already finished. The best thing: No word of apology, no ‘sorry’ – just zero feeling of service. You really wonder how you manage to be so haphazard. If you fancy an evening of waiting, lousy service and annoyed waiting - then this is your shop. For everyone else: save yourself the money and the hassle.

We were there with our dog and everyone, including the dog, was warmly greeted and asked if he needed water. The food was top class and the price for the schnitzel holiday was okay for today's times.

The ambience is really very nice. The food is very different in taste. My salad was good. Unfortunately the burger was not convincing. Unfortunately the patty wasn't really tasty. The price-performance ratio doesn't really fit. I also find a lemonade for over €6 very expensive. Service was very friendly and quick.

Neben dem lieblos angerichteten und qualitativ schlechtem Essen, war die außergewöhnlich inkompetente Bedienung präsent. Leider konnte kein Weißwein in korrekter Aussprache präsentiert werden. Die Cocktails wurden leider nicht korrekt zubereitet, die Gläser wieder mitgenommen und am oberen Trinkhalm an der Theke umgerührt. Leider war der Cocktail nachher nicht mehr den Personen zuzuordnen, was die Bedienung nicht interessierte. Die Bedienung hat sich dadurch ausgezeichnet, dass sie trotz des Stresses mit uns als Gästen in extrem unangenehmer Art und Weise diskutierte. Ich hoffe, dass es in Zeiten des Fachkräftemangels eine Lösung gibt, da die Mitarbeiterin sich ausdrücklich gegenüber den Gästen über das stressige Arbeitsverhältnis äußerte.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio did not meet our expectations. The burger, which sounded tempting on the menu, turned out to be quite small and left us a bit disappointed. The portion of the noodles with honey mustard sauce was also rather meager, while the price was quite high. The lasagna that we also tried was unfortunately of below average quality and wasn't really convincing. What should be highlighted positively, however, is the ambience of the restaurant, which was really great. The atmosphere was inviting and cozy, which saved the evening a little. It would be nice if the dishes in the future were prepared with the same care and attention to detail that was clearly noticeable in the ambience.

(Holiday) Café del Sol - ate schnitzel and have to admit that for me it is little more than simple average. The sauce was great, but I had it separately so that the breading wouldn't get soggy, and it was also big and crunchy. The meat quality was good, basically everything that should make a good schnitzel, but it still had too little taste. My daughter had a pinsa that she liked. The service was excellent.

On some days you should reserve in advance. They do have a lot of space. But it is also in high demand. Keep it up. Perhaps more schnitzel variants could be added to the menu.

Not what it used to be... - Food has become absolutely basic, the quality is more like that of a snack bar next door. I think that's a shame because many people only go to Cafe del Sol for the food. It's okay, you can eat it, but it's not a taste miracle either. - Service was great, staff were friendly and always nearby so you could always get good service. - Ambiance like in all Cafe del Sol branches..

Great value for money. A little deduction for the service because you have to be lucky to get someone nice. And almost every time you have to wait a relatively long time before you can pay. Otherwise very tasty and the selection is also good, there is something for every taste.

Delicious salads, friendly service, and the ambience is very nice inside and on the terrace. So absolutely nothing to complain about ;-)

Sometimes it gets very crowded and noisy, but it is a nice place where you can enjoy your time with your friends and family. It's great that it's open at night too.

Great food in a nice atmosphere, I think the prices are fair and the portions are a good size. On Monday and Tuesday all Pinsa's are available for €9.90. In the photo you can see the Pinsa with Serano, highly recommended and a great taste 😊

Have eaten at this chain many times, but unfortunately the food in the Fulda location is very weak. We ordered two burgers with sweet potato fries. I've never had such bad fries. There was nothing completely cold and crispy about it. Unfortunately, the two patties were only frozen goods and absolutely nothing special. Also very little taste. Service was at least quick and friendly. I still wouldn't eat at this location again.

Nice ambience with high ceilings. Staff friendly. Reminds me of the “Alex” necklace. Parking spaces directly in front of the entrance. The menu is surprisingly extensive! Update 2021-08 ---- The presentation of the food is great: optimized for Instagram in a positive sense! Unfortunately, the quality sometimes lags behind in detail. Two examples: (1) In the case of schnitzel with pasta (penne), the noodles were dried out. I know what happens when you reheat the pasta. (2) The pizza is very dry. That was the unanimous opinion of all three guests. Without these points I would give it a clear 5-star rating. Update 2023-08 ---- Service was overwhelmed when it was a bit fuller, for example it took about 15 minutes to bring ketchup after the fries were served. Strangely, there is no spaetzle or gravy (would go well with the schnitzel).
