Great service, fast, and very friendly. Good vegan selection, and I really enjoyed my potatoes. Thanks to the large space, we were able to get a seat for two for dinner on Saturday even without a reservation :). The atmosphere suffered a bit because it got very loud, but you can't have both :D.

The service was very ungreatful and every time they come to our table they seem angry at us like we do something, also ceasar with no chicken, I didn’t know we have to ask as extra for them to put some chicken inside. Our friend had birthday this day we go and when we tried to cut the birthday cake the service told us that it’s not allowed? So we kindly paid and left

I really enjoy going to Café del Sol restaurants - the food is good, I like the lively atmosphere. There was an extremely heavy smoker sitting at the table next to me, which even I, as a former smoker, found extremely disgusting and I felt harassed. My request to find another table for me was immediately honored - even though the restaurant was busy. Thank you for this, because that wasn't a given!

The schnitzel and sauce tasted delicious, but exactly the same as five years ago. Kind of boring. And really expensive now. On average around €40 per person without any special features. Background noise very loud. This hasn't improved over the years. Too bad.

There were 5 of us for brunch and there was really something for every taste. My recommendation is to reserve early enough, as the tables are allocated in slots of 2 hours each and everything was fully booked today. Food and drink plentiful and very good. I would deduct half a star from the service because, if you only have a time slot of 120 minutes, it would be nice if all the important breakfast dishes such as scrambled eggs were also available shortly after 9. But that's whining at a high level. But everyone was very nice and friendly. Unfortunately I have to deduct one star from the ambience because the room is a bit too dark for me even when the sun is shining outside. For food, I can recommend the delicious homemade rolls and bread assortment, definitely fresh and warm. The yeast bread and brownies are particularly delicious. Likewise the Belgian waffles, which are available from 10 a.m. Unfortunately, apart from the meatballs, I can hardly say anything about the savory things, I had too many delicious other dishes. But there were chili con carne chicken wings, a Mediterranean-style pasta bake, etc. Everything looked very tasty. Just one more tip and that would be the only criticism when it comes to eating and drinking. Unfortunately, hot chocolate with cream was “water cocoa”. We then took hot milk with honey and then, since the honey was delivered separately, replaced it with a bowl of Nutella that we stirred in. My wife knew how to help herself. The Cafe Del Sol in Filderstadt is visually really appealing. The furnishings, the ambience and the location are well thought out and invite you to linger. You feel comfortable and the atmosphere is right. The service is also worth highlighting - the waitresses are friendly and attentive. The food ranges between “okay” and “good”, i.e. solid, but nothing extraordinary. The big negative point, however, is the prices. It's just too expensive for what's on offer. The price-performance ratio is not right here. Conclusion: Nice shop with a good atmosphere and nice service, but unfortunately too expensive for the quality offered. 3 stars.

No, it really wasn't good. 4 people one gets their food the others 10 minutes later that's stupid. Short visit to the women's toilet, no toilet paper, everything sticks, doors broken. It's not pretty. Food was well, half the Pinsa was really mini, the Pinsa I wanted was unfortunately out, the alternative was ok. The fried chicken strips on the salad and bowl had to be sought out. The schnitzel was OK. What was good was the service. We had a super nice, friendly waitress who immediately took care of the missing toilet paper and had a very positive manner. But we won't see them anymore because we don't go there anymore.

Went here for dinner today. We had to wait over 5 minutes to get a seat. The food took over 40 minutes to come out of the kitchen. The taste was okay, but the fries were only lukewarm and tasted old. There was no excuse for the food taking so long. Not even the children's schnitzel could be brought before our meal. The service therefore only deserves one star. The atmosphere was also poor, a waiter walked past us and was upset about the kitchen.

I dined here once, had a Cessar salad and will never have to eat here again. The price-performance ratio is simply not right. The drinks and atmosphere are good.

Well, where do I start...we made a reservation for 7:15 p.m. and arrived a little earlier and were shown straight to a table. Our (very friendly) waitress (Susi) also arrived after 5 minutes. That was quick. But that was it quickly. Our starter came after 30 minutes (chilli cheese nachos, not recommended, that's maybe 10 nachos and they charge over €7 for them...I don't know). Afterwards we had to wait another 45 minutes (i.e. 1h15m after the original order) for the food. This only happened after we brought it to the attention of one of the staff. The food wasn't bad by any means, but the portion size and the price are out of proportion in my opinion. Either more food or cheaper, but that's not acceptable for me. Finally, the atmosphere: I find the house aesthetically extremely beautiful. But the noise inside is very noticeable even after such a long wait. Overall: If you come here, take a lot of time and patience with you, maybe also noise-cancelling headphones. At the end of the day you get your food and the in-house drinks are not bad. But I wouldn't take a long journey to do this again. I was hoping that my experience was an isolated incident but unfortunately, according to the reviews, that's not the case.

For breakfast on the weekend, nothing was left to be desired. The staff was friendly. The service was not objectionable.

Were there for Sunday brunch. Unfortunately, a lot of things were missing or I was spoiled by others. But no fruit or fruit juice. You also had to pay for all drinks. There was no normal coffee or tea. That's included in the price for me. But otherwise good.

Waren heute zum Frühstücken da. Lokal war nicht so voll und daher sehr angenehm. Wir haben Frühstückplatten bestellt. Es war ok. Die Brötchen waren schön warm. Aber wir mussten recht lange warten. Da wir aber Zeit hatten war es nicht so schlimm, zum Glück war das Lokal nicht gut gefüllt.

The service is super nice and friendly, even with difficult guests. I personally find the ambience pleasant, the catch is that the café looks like a huge hall, I've never seen such a big café before. The name doesn't quite fit, but that doesn't matter. The food was something to complain about, we each had burgers and fries, the fries were good, the composition of the burger was ok, but the meat that was in there was almost 1 to 1 the sole of a shoe, very tough, tasteless, completely dry. Maybe the chef was having a bad day? We would come back and try again. Thanks to the staff, very nice people.

Unfortunately we cannot recommend it. The food was not good value for money. The portions were sometimes really too small for the money. The potatoes tasted good, but not enough. Unfortunately, the Greek salad wasn't really Greek, as it was mainly just lettuce and far too few cucumbers and tomatoes...we also ordered chicken. It really tasted like ready-made chicken like from Subway. It was totally mushy and soft. What was really good were the spare ribs. Overall, we were disappointed and not really satisfied. The service was very nice. There is nothing wrong with it and the atmosphere was cozy and pleasant. Maybe next time we should try something different like schnitzel or something. Unfortunately, as things stand now, I wouldn't come again.

I ate vegetarian and it was very tasty, a creative selection of vegetarian dishes. The service is friendly and cheerful. There are also non-alcoholic cocktails on the menu, which are very tasty. The coffee is also very good there. A place where you like to linger.

I was at Café del Sol today and absolutely loved it! The spare ribs were simply a dream – tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned! But what made the whole thing even better was the incredibly nice waiter Nils. He was not only super friendly, but also very attentive and looked after us perfectly throughout the evening. You can really tell that quality and hospitality are important here. The Café del Sol is definitely a highlight and will be on my regular schedule from now on. A huge thank you to Nils and the whole team!

Looks beautiful here, it was my first day here and the waiter Nils welcomed us wonderfully. His smile made the food taste particularly great, great young man.

Was there on Friday evening for a drink. I ordered an Aperol spritz. I sat at the bar and could watch how it was mixed. There were shots of Aperol, a small splash of Prosecco and the rest was filled up with water. (like carbonated tap water almost everywhere). I complained about it and was told that was the way it was supposed to be, but I could have a new one. I was pleasantly surprised, only the next one was worse than the first. It was a glass of water with a light orange color and you couldn't even tell that it was Prosecco. You can't win guests like that. An original Aperol Spritz is perfect Prepared 3 parts Prosecco 2 parts Aperol and 1 part water. I think at Café del Sol it should only be called water with a little coloring and that for 7.80 euros When I checked again about the price, I read that there was still orange juice in it. This one flew by on Friday evening. Aperol spritz is not recommended there.

Service was great! But the Pinsa is above all one thing from my point of view: hopelessly overpriced, plenty of great stuff... 15€! A prefabricated floor and, in my opinion, poorly covered.

A bit too loud for me but everything else was really great and so far I've always found a place for more than 4 people without a reservation.

On January 22nd We, a group of 6 people (trade fair team at the CMT), wanted to have dinner. Since it wasn't possible to make a reservation online, we were told when we made the reservation by phone that we could also come by that way. When we arrived around 7:30 p.m., even though there were tables available, we didn't get a table. The young man at the entrance told us "I decide who comes in here and who doesn't". Obviously people between 50 and 60 are not welcome. The question about restaurant manager was answered: "I'm the shift manager here". I know it's hard to find qualified staff, but an employee who treats customers like that wouldn't have a chance in my company. The good thing about the evening: We found a great Italian restaurant and had a great meal. What remains: My employees and I will never visit a Café de Sol again. Update February 5th, 2025: The standard answer from Cafe des Sol shows that they have not recognized the problem. 1. No reservation was possible. 2. The tables that were free were not reserved but were allocated by the "shift manager" according to his own criteria. And we didn't fit his image. Why can't you just apologize for employee misconduct? No Cafe de Sol will see us again and can only recommend avoiding this fast food chain.

Starting with the quality of the food - junk food - at exorbitant prices, up to such a changing quality of service that bears no relation to the standard... That too The principle of "assigning a table" is just ridiculous.... Long waiting times until someone makes an effort, which is always overwhelmed by the service. Even though there are plenty of tables available... You then make yourself a responsible guest If you find your way to a free table, it may be that after 15 minutes of waiting without service someone comes up to you and points you out... I happened to be there twice in a row, for dinner, the food was okay, not super high quality food but I don't expect that at all, especially not at this price. The service that evening was super nice and on point! Today at brunch, however, the complete opposite, the table was dirty, the service was extremely rude, and clearly didn't feel like it. The food, well... was cheap but not worth the cheap money. It's a shame that there isn't even water or juice included. And when we saw at the end that we had been charged too much for brunch once, the rude waitress immediately rolled her eyes again.

A chicken guacamole burger was ordered. A lukewarm burger with breaded chicken fillet (known from industrial production) came for 14.90. Avocado couldn't be found and the salad on it wasn't fresh. The bowl of side salad for 2.90 includes iceberg lettuce, a tomato and a slice of cucumber in a warm bowl. Quality and conviction are somehow different - well-intentioned 3 stars

Phew. I don't know where to start. I've never been to Cafe Del Sol before and today was our first visit here (and also our last). The service person was nice, a bit confused and a bit insecure. But at least she did her best. Drinks were also totally fine. The food was a disaster. In our opinion, the lasagne tasted like frozen lasagna and had a very strange aftertaste. You still have to let it go that it was hot. My Aglio pasta was cold, no oil in sight and everything was completely dry - the pasta was still very hard and everything was very strange. Not that it's not enough, no - since this afternoon I've been sitting on the toilet every 10 minutes with stomach cramps. And no, it's not from something else - I only ate food from Cafe del Sol today, and since then I've had stomach problems, so nothing else goes into my stomach. I'm definitely not coming here anymore. I don't have to endure the stomach cramps a second time. Too bad.

The one and only Nils is a treasure of gold! He's in a good mood, entertaining and has blackberries too. How can you let him go? Well at least he’s coming to us in Dresden! ;-) It was delicious with you, cool shop.

There was a little misunderstanding with us and the waiting time was a little longer. Aaaab: the staff, including shift managers, behaved so professionally and friendly that we weren't annoyed at all, but rather touched by their warmth. Service top!

Had dinner here with my girlfriend earlier. The food was great and was only topped by the very attentive and incredibly courteous waiter Nils! Outstanding service that we would love to come back for!!

Good location for meeting for cocktails and long drinks before or after events. Many dates also take place here. Good for a cafe in the afternoon. Very busy on weekends. You can also eat burgers, fries and the like here. Schnitzel and tarte flambée are also offered. There are also some salads to choose from. Decent quality. So there is something to suit your hunger and the service is very friendly. There is a good outdoor terrace in summer, which is also open in winter and is often used by smokers. I always enjoy coming here.

The ambience is quite nice, but it is a bit echoey. The service is quick and friendly. What is not possible, however, is value for money when it comes to the food. My Thai curry for €16 was a tiny portion. Spicy according to the menu, bland in reality. My companion had a salad with additional mushrooms (+4€). Unfortunately there were only 5 little champions on the salad. That's no fun. There's no lunch menu either, but the toilets are clean.

The burgers were really tasty, I have nothing negative to say about them. Better lighting when running out would be beneficial, but that's complaining at a high level.

Today we went to brunch with friends. Unfortunately, the first time we met the waitress was very sobering. She told us that our child, who was sleeping in a stroller, was standing at the table so that she couldn't bring us any drinks. We should move him immediately. The selection at the brunch buffet is extensive and sometimes really tasty and beautifully presented. However, the Maultaschen were already so soggy at 11 that they were inedible, just like the sausages and meat cakes, they were dried out and inedible. The tomatoes looked like they had been on the buffet for several days, including the stalk that someone probably didn't want to remove. It was also stated on the internet and in the menu that there should be waffles, but they weren't available and the waiter said the waffle iron had burned out in the morning and our friendly waitress said "they're not available today." The other things on the buffet were delicious. We won't be going back here any time soon.

This evening, at 8pm, my husband and I visited Cafe Del Sol to eat. Unfortunately, our experience was anything but satisfactory. When we sat down at our table, there were still glasses from the previous guests on it. We had to wait a full 30 minutes for a waiter to come to us. He first took our order and then asked us whether the glasses at the table belonged to us. After we said no, the glasses were removed, but the table was not cleaned. To make matters worse, the dish we originally wanted to order was not available. We finally decided on burgers. When these were served we noticed that neither cutlery nor napkins were provided on our table. The waiter had neglected to prepare the table accordingly. We had to get up and get cutlery ourselves. The taste of the food was disappointing and later gave both of us stomach problems. Overall, the service was unacceptable, the hygiene was poor, and the food also left a lot to be desired. After this experience we are sure: we will never visit this restaurant again.

Wir waren mit 12 Personen zum Brunch um 10 Uhr. Also von der Zeit her optimal - nicht zu spät, Aber das Buffet war teilweise schon nicht mehr vollständig und die Ware lag schon längers auf den Platten. Leider habe ich keine Fotos gemacht. Habe auch nicht viel davon gegessen, da es mich nicht angemacht hat: Vom Käse gab es nur eine Sorte und dieser war bereits am Rand angetrocknet und hochgerollt. Die warmen Süßspeisen waren ausgetrocknet und unansehnlich. Als ich das Personal darauf angesprochen hatte, hieß es, das wird erst ausgetauscht, wenn es leer ist. Die Aufstriche waren nicht beschriftet und leer. Ich habe dann die Schüsseln an das Personal direkt in die Hand gedrückt. Standen ja 4 Leute hinter der Theke :-( Es gab nur kleine Teller. Kein Brotkörbchen.... die Wurst naja .... Der angemachte Salat schon matschig ... Ich war einfach enttäuscht - und das nicht das erste Mal - werde dort nicht mehr hingehen. Übrigens: Toiletten teilweise ohne Papier, Türriegel ausgebrochen

We came for breakfast at 11:05 a.m. and had to wait 20 minutes before anyone came to us. When the waitress finally came to us, she informed us that it was already too late for breakfast. We then ordered something from the regular menu. Unfortunately we had to wait another hour until our food was finally served. Overall, the waiting times were extremely long and the organization left a lot to be desired. Such service is disappointing, especially when you're looking forward to a relaxing breakfast.

I visited Café Del Sol for the second time today after a disappointing experience about 10 days ago. On the first visit, I went there with a friend, but despite the small number of guests, we still couldn't order after 25-30 minutes. Frustrated, we finally got up and decided to go to another restaurant. Today I wanted to give the restaurant a second chance. Service was quicker this time: the friendly waitress took my order in about 10-15 minutes, which was within normal limits for this restaurant. Unfortunately, this improvement remained as the kitchen left a lot to be desired. I ordered the Schnitzel Del Sol, and unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. The schnitzel was as dry as the sole of a shoe and barely edible. The hollandaise sauce, apparently bought ready-made, was lumpy and didn't taste good either. Overall, the meal was not very enjoyable and left a bad aftertaste. Paying just under EUR 20.00 for this is inappropriate for me. Conclusion: Café Del Sol definitely has room for improvement. One star goes to the friendly service, but the disastrous performance of the kitchen doesn't warrant more than two stars overall. I hope that the quality will be improved in the future so that a visit is also worthwhile from a culinary point of view.

Ordered burger without cucumber but got it with cucumber. Sorry, but cucumber makes me want to vomit. After we told the service, we were allowed to order a free hot drink. After ordering a cappuccino, the service came back and said that you would only get an espresso. Of course I still had to pay for the burger in full. Too bad. There were eight of us there. But unfortunately the last time. You can't actually behave like that towards customers.

Let's start with the positive. The ambience is very good. Just nothing everyday. The tables are clean and everything looks well-kept. There are enough parking spaces available. Now the negative sides. Price/performance absolutely bottom drawer. The cheesecake in the picture cost 4.10 euros. The cream is another 1.20 euros. Please note the size comparison to the fork. Things like that don't work. Then it tasted like everything but cheesecake. Maybe you should change your supplier. The chocolate cake doesn't look much better either. The staff tries hard but sometimes it seems as if they are overwhelmed. We had to wait over half an hour until we got our cake. However, we were served quickly. After we received our orders, no one came by. There are no sales-increasing measures. It would have been great if someone came by to ask if we wanted anything else. So I had enough time to read all the reviews. Some people suggest eating at Burger King instead. I hope someone takes these criticisms to heart and makes a change.

Wir waren zu fünft für den Brunch gekommen. Das Personal war freundlich - das war es dann allerdings schon an positiven Punkten. Die Speisen durchweg lieblos angerichtet, von allem wurde nur das billigste vom billigen verwendet. Die Hauptgerichte waren eine Zumutung: Der Fisch komplett kalt, das Fleisch so zäh und voller Knorpel - aus meiner Sicht komplett ungenießbar. Liebe Restaurantbetreiber, nehmt doch lieber weniger an Auswahl und macht dies dann dafür etwas hochwertiger. Der billigste Lachs schmeckt leider nicht. Dann lieber keinen Lachs als einen geschmacksneutralen billigen. Die Preise sind für das gebotene einfach nicht angemessen. Scheinbar hat sich das auch schon herumgesprochen. Als wir vor Jahren mal zum brunchen gekommen sind war das Lokal voll, bei unserem letzten Brunch war das Lokal nur zu 1/3 gefüllt. Nun, wir werden auch nicht wieder kommen - und wir werden auch jedem von einem Brunch in diesem Restaurant abraten - schade eigentlich.

Sehr enttäuschend. Wir waren auf der Suche nach einer Location für eine Familienfeier. Von Sauberkeit keine Spur, geht gar nicht. Essenreste lagen auf dem Stuhl, der Couch, unter dem Tisch und am Tisch angetrocknete Soße. Das Essen nicht besser, sehr lieblos, Chilli con carne mit Süßkartoffeln, 1 Esslöffel Hackfleisch und eine pampige Käsesoße mit Majo vermischt.

Too bad. I ordered a salad with shrimps that cost €16. It was a bit of iceberg lettuce with just a tomato and 4 slices of cucumber and 6 small prawns, which for €16 is a disgrace. In other restaurants this would have been a side salad due to its size. The food has deteriorated a lot. I'll only come here to have a drink, but I'll definitely eat somewhere else. The waiters can't keep up, but they tried hard and were very nice.

Yesterday I celebrated my birthday and due to a misunderstanding on my part, I misjudged the booking time and arrived late with my 30 guests. The entire staff immediately tried to find a solution and accommodate us, even after my mistake. I am very grateful for the incredible service

We celebrated our birthday, the service was wonderful, all the staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious, we ordered starters which came very quickly and were fantastic. The drinks at the bar were great. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very cozy, I recommend it and we will definitely come back.

Went there spontaneously today for a late lunch. We had no problems getting a table without a reservation. The order was taken quickly and the food arrived before my two companions starved to death :D. Everything was great and tasty, as well as value for money.

It's one of a kind in Stuttgart! Walking up there is a very inviting porch with porch swings included. With tall ceilings there is a very spacious atmosphere to enjoy good company and great food. The kids menu has a lot to offer, which is always a bonus for families. Being right next to the runway, you can get a glimpse of planes taking off and landing. Best of all the parking is FREE!

Took quite a while to come out, when it did I looked at it and thought that burger doesn’t look right, then i tasted it!! It was awful!!! It was soft, stodgy and had no real taste and it was lukewarm I dont know how they cooked it, but it was horrible. And I refused to put anymore of it in my mouth. It was like it wasn’t actually meat. I’ve never had a burger taste that bad before.

Food was not great. Had the burger and the beef patty was mushy excuse for beef. The burger also come out on the luke warm; my friend refused to eat theirs after a couple of bits.

Der Freundlichste Kellner war der Nils, er war Freundlich. Wir haben uns endlich hier wohl gefühlt. Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder. Vielen dank Nils mach weiter so

The iced tea with pomegranate and blackberries is delicious but could be colder. Schnitzel with mushroom sauce and one with puszta sauce. The fries are very well fried, but unfortunately that's it. The schnitzel and the sauce are convenience goods and don't really taste good. The mushroom cream sauce doesn't taste like anything, so half the mushrooms don't help either. The Puzta sauce was partly dried, probably from the day before and then not boiled. Both sauces and the schnitzel were only lukewarm. The salad was good. The service was friendly. Ambience is pleasant All in all, the place is good for meeting friends and having a drink in a pleasant atmosphere. You can also find something better to eat. Therefore only with effort 3 stars

Rule: you cannot share the food, e.g. take some salad or Pomeranian from the others, otherwise it will be counted as a double portion.

A little cool, should have been warmer to sit comfortably longer. Wear a thicker sweater next time.

We stopped in transit on a Saturday to have breakfast. The restaurant was full and you couldn't miss a breakfast buffet. The selection was large, lots of fresh vegetables, salads, dips, salmon, cold cuts, cheese, Birchner muesli as well as sausages, meatballs and eggs. There was also fruit and pudding for dessert - I thought it was great! The way it is set up right in the middle, in small bowls and glasses - is also appealing. You had to order a drink separately. Service was friendly. The restaurant itself is very nice. If you take all of that into account, then the price is probably justified.
