It's a chain restaurant, after all. The fries were a bit soggy, but maybe that was the sauce. The service was fine. It was very busy, but since the place is huge, you're sure to find a seat.

We were there on January 20th and were served by Selin. You rarely experience service like this. She's not just a waitress, but a true highlight of the evening. She sits down with the guests, tells stories, cracks jokes, and creates an unforgettable atmosphere. You feel welcome, seen, and thoroughly entertained. You don't feel like a guest, but like you're among friends. Service, personality, and atmosphere are absolutely top-notch. An absolute exception! It doesn't get any better! We'll definitely be back because of Selin! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A glance into the stinking and utterly filthy toilet does not inspire confidence or appetite for the food.

-The pinsa arrived after 45 minutes and was unfortunately cold. -Alcohol-free beer and wheat beer were listed on the menu, but unfortunately, they weren't available. -At the next table were two families with small children who were very, very loud, throwing their toys around and running wild on the sofas. Unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant evening (€98).

We thoroughly enjoyed the à la carte breakfast, as well as a light lunch another day. Unfortunately, the wait times can be quite long. We've only had positive experiences with the service staff so far. The café is conveniently located and offers plenty of parking. These parking spaces are essential, as it's not easily accessible on foot.

I had lunch at this restaurant with my family. The portion was quite large, perfect for a satisfying meal. The service was also excellent: friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Nice atmosphere, but prices are very high for the portion size.

We were a bit disappointed, unfortunately. We had reserved a table, but it was already taken. We were then given four garden chairs and a table from outside. The waitress apologized for her mistake and gave us a complimentary drink. There's no structure to the place; everyone does everything. You're sometimes ignored. One waiter was flirting with all the women. The main course was very tasty.

Café del Sol is a place to meet up – casually and spontaneously. It's a spot for friends to eat, drink, and chat together. The atmosphere is pleasant, relaxed, and consistently chill, making you feel right at home. Even when it's busy and almost always full, the ambiance remains open, lively, and truly lovely. Especially in summer, the café's terrace is a real highlight, further enhancing its appeal as a meeting place and inviting you to linger.

The food and drinks were delicious. Unfortunately, the service was rather reserved – the staff could have been more attentive to the guests to make the visit more pleasant overall.

The design and location are great, but everything else is awful. The espresso and orange juice were tasteless, and the burger quality was abysmal. These days, with exorbitant prices, people eat out less often anyway, but when they do, the quality should be impeccable, which unfortunately isn't the case here. Just cut your budgets to the bone, and in the end, nobody will come back.

We had a reservation for December 30th, and it was absolutely packed. We were immediately informed that the food might take a little longer, which didn't seem to be the case at all, but I found this very helpful as it allowed us to plan accordingly. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always attentive, and always had a smile on their faces. They never made us feel like they were too busy. The food and drinks were delicious, and we felt completely at ease.

Many people bring their dogs into the restaurant. That's why we asked if we could sit at another free table; there were several available! Since we were told we could only sit there or at the bar, we went somewhere else to eat.

We had dessert at Café del Sol and were absolutely delighted. The atmosphere is, as always, cozy, stylish, and inviting. The desserts were not only visually stunning but also tasted absolutely superb – fresh, perfectly balanced, and prepared with great attention to detail. I would especially like to commend Sinan Kellner, who delivered a truly flawless performance. His service was exceptionally attentive, friendly, and professional. We felt welcome and well taken care of from the very beginning. It's precisely these kinds of employees who make all the difference and ensure that you'll want to return. The location itself is nice, and the service is quite quick. The "Self Made Ice Tea" was surprisingly good. I was expecting water with a splash of syrup. Instead, it had an almost juice-like consistency plus (fresh?) mango pieces. Refreshing and a nice treat 😜 What I find completely unacceptable, however, is the €0.70 surcharge for oat milk.

The pasta with ham contained, if anything, only traces of ham. Update: The team's answer is correct, of course. It's not on the menu, but the server confirmed it when I asked... Food +1 After the first drink order, no one ever came back to ask about it or clear the table. 2nd Update: Surely I still remember where I was on Monday, December 22nd, from 7 pm onwards... I'm deducting another star just for asking that...

Café del Sol Absolutely fantastic. The service was outstanding – especially Sinan. Friendly, attentive, and present without being intrusive. That's exactly what you expect from good service. For dessert, we had the lava cake – perfectly served, warm, with a molten center, and absolutely delicious. You can immediately tell when someone takes their job seriously and enjoys doing it. The service definitely enhanced our visit. We'll definitely be back.

The ambiance at Café del Sol is very inviting and beautifully designed. Unfortunately, our visit was disappointing overall. Upon entering the café, we were initially ignored and stood for quite some time by the sign indicating that we should wait to be seated. Several staff members were standing at the counter, saw us, but didn't greet us or fetch anyone to welcome us. The restaurant wasn't even full at the time (Sunday lunchtime). Only after asking were we finally shown to our table. Even there, the service seemed unfriendly and unmotivated, and the wait was very long. The food was unfortunately a mixed bag: The baked cheese appetizer was truly delicious. However, I can't recommend the avocado pinsa, as it had hardly any flavor and the avocado was still hard. My partner had sweet potato fries with ribs – the fries were very tasty, but the ribs got cold quickly and were therefore barely edible. Overall, the prices are too high for what you get. Despite having a voucher, we were unfortunately not satisfied.

It is and will remain one of my favorite locations ❤️ The atmosphere is super nice and there are always new food trends that you absolutely have to try 😊 Otherwise, I can also highly recommend the schnitzel holiday and the other delicious specialties!

What can I say... How amazing is it at your place?!?!?! Incredibly wonderful staff ✨ friendly, funny, and above all, child-friendly 👍🏻 We were there with the whole family, and everyone (from ages 2 to 70) felt comfortable ☘️ Delicious food and plenty of choice for everyone. My only complaint... There's no small play area. I'll still give you all the stars, though, because the way you treated the little ones was so warm and welcoming 🫶🏼

My BFF and I were in Filderstadt this week, both of us for the first time... we were served by Nils, a super friendly, service-oriented young man who clearly enjoyed his job. We gladly followed his dessert recommendation and weren't disappointed – all in all, we had a wonderful girls' day out and can highly recommend it.

A typical german restaurant with american twist. Food is good, service is lazy, beer is great. Thats it.

The noise level was high, but the delicious cocktails made it easier. Great service, delicious burgers and pinsa.

I came here alone and was immediately asked what I wanted to drink, which arrived relatively quickly. I finished my coffee in 15 minutes, and now I've been sitting here for an hour and haven't even been asked if I want anything else. Really disappointing. Edit: Two months later, things have gotten even worse. We waited at the door for far too long (30 minutes) and were completely ignored. Now we've been sitting here for 30 minutes and no one is serving us. It's important to know that the place isn't even full, and half the staff are just standing around doing nothing.

I've been a regular there for years. The portions have gotten smaller, but the price is the same. The staff tries hard, but there seem to be too few of them. It's a shame, it used to be better.

That was awful. Having to wait a full hour for the first refill of the all-you-can-eat schnitzel completely ruined our appetites.

When we asked if there was sugar in the salad, the owner himself immediately came to our table, brought olive oil and a different vinegar, and even prepared a small fresh salad for us to be sure. Such dedication is rare! The entire team was also top-notch – at least four or five different staff members served us, all equally friendly and attentive. When something spilled, help was provided immediately, and everything was quickly cleaned up. Even our dog was lovingly given water. A wonderful experience in every respect – you can tell that team spirit and hospitality are paramount here. A huge thank you to the entire team – please keep it up! 🥰👏

I came here for brunch; unfortunately, the food wasn't replenished for the hefty price of €21, orange juice wasn't included, and it was mostly lunch. For me, breakfast is also part of brunch.

We've eaten there several times before. Today was our first time for brunch. We arrived at 11:00 AM, and it was very busy. Almost everything was sold out and was barely, if at all, replenished. We had to wait 40 minutes for bacon, and items like pudding and various dips weren't refilled. Our table was missing cutlery, and we waited 30 minutes for drinks. The server was rude and snappy when we asked for a knife, for example. Furthermore, the signage for allergy sufferers was poor. We were very dissatisfied. The brunch is not worth the price.

Very tasty and great food! The service was always excellent! And if you book early, you'll always find a spot. But a spontaneous visit for two is also no problem.

The wide selection of vegan dishes was great, and the food tasted quite good. The fact that the wrong dip arrived was rectified very quickly and politely. However, I definitely wouldn't eat here if you're expected to leave quickly afterward. If you happen to be there during the shift change, you'll be left waiting for a good 15 minutes with this explanation before you can finally pay. I couldn't really understand it; it was a weekday afternoon and almost empty. Then I had to sit there, under time pressure, watching the server calmly process the day's orders at the terminal 🙄. This actually upset me so much that my 5-star rating from the spring has now dropped to 3.

We've been to Café del Sol several times and always feel very comfortable there. The staff are always friendly, attentive, and cheerful, no matter how busy it is, and they work really quickly. The food is consistently good and perfectly acceptable for a franchise. We'll definitely be back and can highly recommend Café del Sol.

Great restaurant in a prime location near the B27 highway. I always enjoy coming here. The staff is always very friendly and the service is excellent. They have delicious burgers, pinsa (sausages), and many other tasty dishes. There's something for everyone. And of course, there's something sweet afterward.

The food is bad. I had been to Limbächer's beforehand and wanted to eat something afterwards. The schnitzel was the worst I've ever eaten.

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this "restaurant." Our visit almost ended with a hospital stay (or worse) because my wife, who is highly allergic to wasp and bee stings, found a live wasp mixed in with the salad dressing! She nearly ingested it. The staff reacted calmly and casually! They did offer us a discount on the bill, but no one seemed genuinely concerned, worried, or embarrassed. That was our last visit as a family.

High praise!!!! Top service, top food and drinks!!!! We were there for the first time today and will definitely be back. I do have one small comment, though: the blueberry Pina Colada isn't quite as good, but it would be much tastier with strawberry/passion fruit or chocolate.

The service was overwhelmed with clearing, empty tables and empty drinks were sometimes left unattended, meaning other tables were still full of glasses and leftovers, and at my own table there were several empty glasses. Bottled beer was dusty.

It was very nice. The pasta aglio, just under €10, is definitely worth it, and the iced matcha latte with strawberry syrup is delicious. Inside the restaurant, everything looks like a cowboy bar mix with a bit of Cretan vibe. There's a beautiful wine display on the walls. Everything has a relatively Italian feel.

We were two adults and two small children on a not-so-busy Saturday afternoon. We waited a long time to place our order. We ordered pasta with tomato sauce (child's portion) and pinsa (pinsa) – the pinsa arrived 10 minutes before the child's portions. The pasta plates were piping hot, apparently because the child's portions had been baked with cheese. After the meal, the table took ages to clear, even though it wasn't very busy considering the number of waiters present. We finally found a server who took our money so we could finally leave. We were truly disappointed by the experience.

We had reserved a table for six at 8 p.m., got our table at 8:05 p.m. and ordered at 9 p.m. Unfortunately, the order had still not been ordered as the reservation was valid for two hours, so you can of course sell your all you can eat table, then because of the long wait we were supposed to get a free drink which luckily arrived at 9:20 a.m. At least in some cases the waitresses were very helpless, it seems to be an impossible task, for example, to differentiate a pork schnitzel from a turkey schnitzel... If I wasn't too hungry my verdict would probably be milder, but damn it, I worked 12 hours and I don't take that lightly.

Café del Sol in Filderstadt offers a beautiful, modern ambiance where you immediately feel at home. The service is friendly and attentive, and overall, the restaurant is very well-kept and inviting. The food is good and solid – certainly decent in quality, but no better than in other comparable restaurants. What is noticeable, however, are the rather high prices, which seem a bit excessive compared to the quality. Nevertheless, the overall experience is convincing: the pleasant surroundings, friendly service, and relaxed atmosphere make the visit worthwhile.

The burgers were unfortunately very disappointing; the patty was just mediocre frozen meat, and the poor quality was clearly noticeable. So, unfortunately, we won't be coming back, even though we really liked the atmosphere.

We visited Cafe del Sol with a group at short notice after finding the doors closed for a half-day company outing at another location, despite having made a reservation and written registration. A quick call to ask if we could come with 14 people in half an hour, and off we went. A large parking lot still had a few spaces available for us, even though we arrived at 1:00 PM. The inviting main entrance has a bit of a Southern feel and offers space to chill with two cool hanging swings and some comfortable lounge chairs. There's also a very wide, barrier-free entrance. Inside, the extremely friendly waitress greeted us and showed us the seats we had reserved in the meantime. Here, several tables were quickly pushed together to form one long table. The food selection is plentiful, and there were enough menus for everyone. Orders were taken wirelessly, meaning the drinks were already being prepared while the food order was still in process. Everyone was ultimately satisfied; the service was extremely friendly, and a colleague helped distribute the food, so everything went smoothly. I give it 99 out of 100 points. My only criticism would be that the chili cheese nachos (the only appetizer) came with the 14 main courses.
