Good and nice service. Food tastes good as always. And the layout of the location offers a nice ambience. You can sit inside and outside.

Breakfast buffet, delicious rolls, the sausage selection was a bit limited, scrambled eggs were good. I would have thought that there would be at least a coffee, that's why I found it too expensive. It's just not worth it for much else. But at least enough parking spaces.

The Café de Sol used to be better, the menu on the menu is ok, only some things are overpriced for the price. Everyone has different taste requirements... Friendly staff, plenty of parking options

The Sol Café in Bochum Wattenscheid is highly recommended! There's really nothing to complain about. Everything is great - from the friendly atmosphere to the attentive service to the delicious food and drinks. You simply feel comfortable here. A big compliment to the team: keep it up! I will definitely come back.

Service and ambience are good. What bothers me is that apart from Cola Zero there are only sweetened cold drinks. There is so much choice now.

I had dinner there with my wife and child for a long time. Unfortunately, we are still deeply sad that the 1/2 or 1 meter pizza is no longer in our range. Price performance was absolutely right. Pinsa are now being offered at an almost ridiculously high price, but it feels like hardly anything is made by yourself. The meat was barely edible, the pinsa was quite cold and wasn't homemade either. For almost 16 euros you would definitely expect more than a bread board full of Tk. I ordered a burger plus fries. The burger was an absolute disgrace considering that it was only served alone (11 euros). Brioche burger bun with a slice of snake cucumber and a Tk chicken patty which was the size of a Tk beef patty. Plus a slice of tomato and the bun again. So at Mcs or Burgerking you get 2 burgers plus fries and a drink for 16 euros and it tastes better. The kids menu also only consisted of Tk goods. In total the visit cost us a mere 52 euros. I almost lost faith when it came to the portions. The owner should be ashamed of such a price-performance ratio. You can eat better everywhere for less or equivalent money. Please rethink your concept, otherwise customers will soon only come for liquid consumption. We certainly won't come again.

The food and service are great, but the background noise is terrible - it sounds like a crowded hall where everyone is talking. Unfortunately, it is not possible to have a quiet conversation or just chill out there.

I used to eat here often and it was good back then, even last summer. I've been there twice in the last 2 weeks. Both times the Eesen was not good: soggy fries, falafel not freshly prepared, rice guaranteed to have been warmed up from the day before (totally soggy), hardly any peanuts on top of the dish (5?), although mentioned specifically on the menu, Prosecco completely without bubbles, so rather Wine. Plus crisp prices. That used to be better. I'm happy to pay more if the food tastes good and is properly prepared, but that was nothing twice.

I haven't been to del Sol in years, I used to be a regular. I regret the last visit. Schnitzel del Sol for €19 is outrageous given the mini portion. My wife had a burger and fries which also had to be added to mini ones for just under €6 ectra. Disappointing.

Very good shop but for 5⭐️ that certain extra is still missing

Yesterday I was there again for a long time because we had a negative experience there in 2020. Back then I got a voucher for two cocktails because we weren't served during a visit. I had completely forgotten about this voucher and found it again. When I asked whether it was still valid, I was referred to the deputy manager (Dennis). I was greeted very nicely and the voucher was actually redeemed!!!! I was totally surprised and very happy! Yesterday everything was perfect, very nice staff and delicious food and drinks. It was a very pleasant atmosphere. Thank you.

Like in every location Cafe Del Sol you get the best, from the ambiance to the food. It is always a safe bet. The summer special Turkey Burger was to die for.

My so-called Pinsa tasted very artificial Unfortunately, the waitress didn't really pay attention to whether you still had something to drink.

Nice atmosphere, delicious food, I always enjoy going there with friends. Since it says on the internet that there is WiFi there, I thought studying there might be more pleasant than at home. Ordered food, turned on my laptop, but when I asked, the staff told me there was no WiFi available. Everything else was great as always, but since I relied on this information from the website, I was a little disappointed.

Were in Bochum on Sunday (May 26th). First of all: The staff was very attentive and very friendly 👍 The ambience is getting old, but still clean (toilet) and acceptable. The food is unfortunately very modest and has zero quality. No taste of meat and pasta. The baked goods are a disaster (everything seemed over-baked). The drinks were OK. I think you can have a much better breakfast (brunch) for 19.50 euros per person. Not again!!!

For those who like the dishes on offer, it's ok

Unfortunately not a pleasant experience. We quickly found a place because there was almost nothing going on. The children's menu only came after we had long decided what we wanted to order. After we placed the order, it took FOREVER for us to have our food. Actually, I should say on a positive note that we were brought a cup with a straw for the little one with the drinks BUT this cup was completely dirty! We ordered: Small mixed salad Chili Cheese Fries Schnitzel del Sol Pom Chick (children's menu) When the food came, we were pretty frustrated: unseasoned fries, frozen schnitzel, chili from the package, inedible vinaigrette on the salad with the schnitzel, the Caesar dressing was so-so, freeze-dried mango in one drink and a frozen raspberry block in the other. None of us finished but we ate too much to do anything about it 🙄. You should keep in mind that you have to run after the staff to get a hold of you, as no one is looking and the prices are quite high for what is on offer! Our french fry lover left his fries behind and left 2 1/2 of 3 nuggets. This visit relieved us of €61 and gave us a stomach ache! Once and never again! The location would actually have been quite appealing.

Cool building, but still barrier-free. It's not cheap, but it's a real eye-catcher in Wattenscheid. The parking lot is downright naughty, well you can do that, unfortunately a small children's playground didn't fit anymore, but so be it 🤣

You can spend your time in the Kaffee-Haus der Sonne and many do, otherwise it wouldn't have become such a big chain 😀 How many first dates and last dates have already taken place in these locations. All I can say is that I had a lovely evening there. I drank one of the very cool iced teas that were served and it tasted fantastic. I will be happy to be there again as the staff is also extremely friendly. True to the motto of your buttons - if Life gives you lemons, just make lemonade ❤️🔱❤️🔱❤️

I really like it. In every city where Cafe del Sol is, I am thrilled. All the ones I've visited have been remodeled and, for me, better than before. The staff were very accommodating, helpful and very friendly.

Very nice cafe/restaurant with a great atmosphere. The waitresses were all very friendly. Very child friendly/high chairs available. Large parking lot right in front of the entrance, you can always get a table even without a reservation. Selection of drinks is very large, selection of (warm) food is less large, mainly burgers, schnitzel and pinsa (e.g. pizza), otherwise rather small things. Meat and meatless possible. Taste good. Relatively expensive when it comes to food. We always enjoy coming back.

We were there on March 8th. There in the afternoon. My salad was ok, but the lasagna was a joke. The portion was more for a small child. THE complaint to service was not taken seriously. There is still room for improvement here. We definitely won't eat lasagna there anymore. A PITY! TODAY we were there for breakfast. Everything was great, we were very happy! satisfied. THEREFORE A CLEAR RECOMMENDATION.

We were at Cafe del Sol on Sunday evening. At that time the store was not very busy. At the beginning the service was relatively quick, but after the first half hour it was just bad. Lots of young employees were running around and were “busy” with lots of things. Just not with us. An employee who apparently doesn't take orders was persuaded to order a drink. But in a very "snotty" and perhaps "just" casual way and we're really not picky. This employee then brought us our food, which was slammed on the table like in prison. In the meantime, one of our companions had to leave the restaurant for an important phone call. But her food was now on the table. We wanted this food to be temporarily placed under a heat lamp. But it was virtually impossible to call a service person. A waitress didn't want to take care of our concerns, she would send her colleague. But this didn't come again. Unfortunately, no one even looked at our table for 15 minutes. So the food got cold and no more drinks could be ordered. After half an eternity we were finally able to order more. If only we hadn't ordered cocktails, oh wonder, that too took...20 minutes! In a busy store with few staff, I understand that it can take longer. But here it was the other way around. Few guests, definitely enough staff.

Even though the store was almost empty, it took forever before we could order our food. After that, no one showed up, so I had to go to the counter and say that I would be happy to pay. I simply love Cafe del Sol in Bochum Wattenscheid. We have been coming regularly to Café del Sol in Bochum Wattenscheid for some time now, both for brunch and for a cozy evening. The location is quite central and at the same time with a beautiful view of the countryside and quite relaxing at night with the lights passing by. The layout is very cozy and the service is very nice. There is something on the menu for every taste. The food just tastes great. The atmosphere makes you want to linger a little longer and more often. I feel comfortable in Café del Sol in Bochum Wattenscheid. For me, Café del Sol in Bochum Wattenscheid is one of my few favorite addresses.

As in every CdS, the ambience is nice. The service is nice and attentive. The food and drinks even come too quickly. Vegan burgers totally convenient, like probably everything here. I'm actually aware of that, but the moldings for meat and vegan substitute products are so obvious that the 13 euros for 2 bun halves with a little lettuce leaf, tomatoes, falafel shape and totally over-seasoned artificial burger sauce without any side dish hurts. I had to return the decaffeinated coffee because it felt like only a quarter of a spoonful of coffee was used to turn the hot water brown. I wanted to have it replaced, but the really nice waitress said, "We can't get it any better, it always looks like that." Very unfortunate. Then perhaps it would be better to serve Nescafe instant bags plus hot water. That tastes better and would perhaps be worth around 3.70 euros. Unfortunately there is nothing good to say apart from the ambience and service.

Great atmosphere, very tasty food, attentive service. The food came quickly and was super tasty. Only four stars for service. We were left stranded and the plates weren't cleared away. However, the store was very busy and at the same time there were few staff. Despite the stress, it was very friendly. We look forward to the next visit.

Everything fit, I would recommend it again and again

Waren dort zum Brunchen eingeladen. Tolle Auswahl. Alles schmeckte sehr gut. Das Lokal ist sehr ansprechend eingerichtet, nur die Lautstärke ist schon hoch und ein bisschen störend.

Wir haben hier gebruncht am Sonntag den 11.02.2024 mit 6 Personen. Absolutes tolles Frühstück mit viel Auswahl. Preisleistungsverhältnis von 19,90 fürs Brunchen ist ok bei der Auswahl. Getränke müssen extra bezahlt werden. Die Bedingungen war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Klare 5 Sterne 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 für das Brunchen und Service.

Einfach wie es sein soll - gutes Essen, toller Service und nettes Ambiente. Wer cafe del sol mag, ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Wir kamen als Gruppe zu neunt, unangemeldet, am Sonntag Nachmittag, es war sehr gut besucht und doch fanden die Servicekräfte sehr schnell eine Tafel für uns. Die Wartezeiten waren kurz, die Aufmerksamkeit der Bedienungen die ganze Zeit über top!

Essen war gut, hat nicht zu lange gedauert. Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Parkplätze waren ausreichend vorhanden. Preise sind auch völlig in Ordnung. War mit Sicherheit nicht mein letzter Besuch.

Essen kann Ich nicht bewerten, hab da noch nie gegessen, sondern nur etwas getrunken, aber die Getränke waren gut, deswegen Bewerte Ich nicht das Essen sondern die Getränke.

Es war ein sehr schöner Abend dort und kümmerte sich ständig um uns und und fragte immer ob wir noch einen Wunsch haben.

Das Essen war gut. Leider wurde kein einziges Glas vom Tisch geräumt wodurch der Tisch bei 7 Person nach mehreren Getränken ziemlich voll wurde. Der Innenraum war durch viele Besucher relativ laut, was Unterhaltungen anstrengend gemacht hat.

Es war alles super. Unser Kellner Lukas war sehr cool, nett und hilfsbereit. Danke für alles 🤗

Wir waren zum Burgerurlaub da und das Essen war sehr gut, der Service sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente ist klassisch Café del Sol. Passt, geht man sehr gerne hin. Mann muss nur beachten, dass die Parkplätze abends ab 18:00 Uhr knapp werden können.

Essen und Service sind Spitze. Wir sind gerne hier. Das einzige Manko, aber das ist wohl überall, die Leute sind sehr laut.

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe hier und hatten Pinsa, Burger und Schnitzel. Die Bedienung war freundlich, die Küche war schnell, das Essen war unerwartet gut.

Schnelle Bedienung, humane Preise. Sehr großer Raum mit nicht so vorteilhafter Akustik, viel Menschen reden in einem Raum. Großer Parkplatz, zum Eingang sind einige Treppenstufen.

Wir gehen hier öfters mal hin.. es ist trotz der Größe immer noch irgendwie gemütlich... der Service... immer Super nett.... auch bei so manchem Stinkstiefel als Gast, von denen es ja leider immer mehr gibt, bleiben sie alle höflich und lächeln noch. Das Essen, nein, kein 5 Sterne Restaurant... wollen sie aber auch nicht sein, lecker.. Die Zeit zwischen Bestellung und Servieren kann sich sehen lassen... alles in allem... sehr zu empfehlen... auch mit einer Gruppe... da sollte man aber vielleicht doch vorher reservieren....
