I've been there several times and have always been satisfied. Most recently, I organized an evening with a larger group (eleven people) on a Saturday evening at Café Central. From experience, I can say that this pushes some restaurants to their limits. But here, everything was great: the communication beforehand, the timing (we had planned an appetizer in advance because we expected a longer wait. The appetizers selected by the kitchen arrived as agreed, very tasty and varied), and especially the service. Our server was super attentive, very friendly, and always there at the right time. We had a fantastic evening, with good food and delicious alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. We'd be happy to go again :-)

Café Central has a great atmosphere and offers more than just coffee (with oat milk, unmatched in Paderborn!) and cake (very tasty!). The (hot) food is solid, but could sometimes be seasoned better. The servers are attentive and usually very friendly. A visit is definitely recommended – especially before 6 p.m., when the ambient noise is also very pleasant.

We are always...very...satisfied and have been here many times. The food is always hot and very tasty. The chef always comes up with something new... great... The staff are friendly and attentive. On Saturday I observed how crowded it was, but you can't work more than once. Finding good employees is also becoming increasingly difficult. Everyone should understand this too. I or we will definitely be happy to come back again and again.

I went out in a hurry in the evening to buy a birthday cake, and since there were several slices of cake, I bought several slices of each kind. It was such a delicious cake. There was also friendly staff. Next time I will eat at the restaurant.

We often go here for lunch. It's nice that there are now several dishes on a changing menu for lunch. It's a shame that the prices have risen and that the salad or soup is no longer available, so the price increases directly and indirectly.

Es ist ein schönen Ambiente, die Bedienung ist freundlich aber unorganisiert. Klar ist alles teurer geworden aber ein nichtssagender Salat mit keinerlei Besonderheit, nur Hühnchenfilet für über 22€ ist für mich doch übertrieben teuer und untertrieben ansprechend.

It was our first time ever coming to Cafe Central. They were all very personable and the food (flambée) was on the table quickly even though it was very full. In between we asked if everything was okay. It was ok. A lot . Thank you for that.

A very nice and small café, located in the backyard. We ate tarte flambée, it was a real poem. Very friendly staff. The ambience is great, the atmosphere is great to relax in. We'd love to come back ☺️.

Food was solid. Had a schnitzel with egg and fried potatoes. If you like decent German cuisine, you can't go wrong with this.

First there. Would love to come back

We sat outside on a sunny autumn day and felt very comfortable! You sit partly in the sun, it is quite protected from the wind due to its location in the courtyard. Blankets are ready for when it gets cooler. We were able to chat in peace and the service staff asked regularly (not too often) and in a friendly manner about our wishes. Highly recommended! My companion from outside was also very impressed!

So cozy and beautifully decorated. I haven't been there for a long time and was very pleasantly surprised. Nice service, quick effort. You'll see me more often now.

A great café/restaurant where you can sit outside with great food and wine in summer and enjoy indoors in a cozy atmosphere in winter. The team is always very courteous and friendly. We always look forward to our visit on Saturday.

Very stylish restaurant/cafe! It is very comfortably furnished, you could stay there for hours. Above all, it's not as loud as some other places, so you can have a really good time. The food is delicious, you can tell the love for cooking and preparation on the part of the chef. I've been going there regularly since I took over at the beginning of the year. The owner and her family who work there are so warm and make sure that you are always well looked after and, above all, satisfied. You feel really comfortable there and almost feel like you belong :) In the evenings, my friends and I like to spend our time there because the guests are very nice and not intrusive, like in other bars. It's easy to get into interesting conversations, whether with employees or visitors. So if you want to spend a pleasant, relaxing time with good food and drinks, you should definitely let yourself be enchanted by Cafe Central 💖

Essen super lecker und auch eine satte Portion. (Club Sandwich, Pasta Central, Kalbsschnitzel) Die Getränkeauswahl war auch groß. Überzeugend abgerundet hat das Gesamtpaket dann der sehr nette und zuvorkommende Service. Insgesamt echt eine totale 10 von 10, auch das Ambiente war sehr schön. Das gibt 5 Sterne. Und wir werden garantiert jetzt auch öfter mal vorbei schauen :-)

Very friendly owner who took over the café with a lot of ambition :) the location is super central and yet quiet. The ambience and atmosphere are great! In addition, it is not overly loud in Café Central, like in many other bars, so you can still have a normal conversation. Definitely deserves 5 stars and a repeat visit is foreseeable 😊⭐

Pretty restaurant in the heart of Paderborn

When I'm in Paderborn, I like to sit outside the café. It's not that loud, but it's not lonely either. It is protected from the wind. It's also a good place to work or make phone calls. The service is very nice, the food is good. There is always a surprise. I haven't had bruschetta with asparagus yet, it was delicious.

A great restaurant! The atmosphere is very cozy, the conditions were super friendly and competent. You felt really comfortable. The food was also amazing, it's rare to be served such good food. Above all, the portions were generous, so everyone will definitely be full. The selection of drinks is also recommended. I personally recommend every beer lover to try the Spanish beer “Estella”. Different from the well-known German beers, but a real pleasure! Thanks for the great experience
