Ich bin sehr positiv überrascht von dieser Location. Sehr gemütlich, gepflegtes Ambiente, schneller, freundlicher und professioneller Service, gutes Essen und Getränke, und das alles zu einem fairen Preis. Vielen Dank für die erfreuliche Erfahrung! Und es war durchaus dort auch etwas „los“. Ich hatte übrigens ein Cordon Bleu mit Spargel und Kartoffeln und Sauce Hollandaise, ein Bier und einen großen Erdbeerbecher mit Sahne und habe circa 30 € bezahlt. Spätestens in meinem nächsten Urlaub komme ich wieder. Hier gibt es wohl manchmal auch Konzerte und Ähnliches.

Sehr netter Service, schöne Außenterrasse. Wir hatten Glück noch einen Platz zu ergattern. Wir hatten die vegane Currywurst, die wir sehr empfehlen können und dazu einen Beilagensalat. Preis Leistung top! Dazu einen virgin mojito der auch wirklich gut und nicht zu süß war. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Danke!

Haben extra einen Tisch abseits bekommen - entspannt und Platz zum hinlegen - super 😉 Service sehr freundlich. Essen sehr lecker.

Wir sind zufällig in unserem Wochenendtrip im Foglwuid gelandet; nettes Personal, super netter Chef, erstklassiges Essen und ein tolles Ambiente haben uns dazu gebracht das wir am zweiten Tag sofort wieder zum Essen hin sind. Schade das wir soweit weg wohnen, sonst wären wir ab sofort Stammgäste. Wir sind begeistert.

Super nette Kerle. GEMÜTLICHER Pub und rustikale Kneipe. Aber die Knaller sind die Burger mit dem fantastischen Belag 180 Gramm Rind aus der Region, der Sauce, den Röstzwiebeln und den leckeren Semmeln. Bin 66 und habe das so geschmacklich noch nie erlebt. Geht mal dahin und ihr werdet sehen der Joachim Steinberg lügt nicht.

Nette Leute, tolle lokation, ausprobieren!!!

Sooo, nachdem der Urlaub vorbei ist, nehme ich mir nun auch mal ein bisschen Zeit was zu schreiben: Nachdem ich meine komplette Kindheit in Unterwössen verbracht habe, mit der alten Post und dem Bräu groß geworden bin, war ich im April mehr als happy, das Foglwuid mit einem Gastrokollegen entdeckt zu haben. Schnell war klar, dass dies DIE "Stammkneipe" für den Sommerurlaub wird. Nach 6 Tagen im April und 10 Tagen im Juni vor Ort, an denen ich gefühlt 5 bzw. 8 Tage im Foglwuid war, heute dann die Rezension: Die Gastroszene in Wössen ist mittlerweile recht überschaubar, teils unverbindliche Öffnungszeiten, und von der Vielfalt her nicht mit dem Wössen der 90er zu vergleichen. Im Foglwuid haben wir im April sowie ich im Sommer - auch aufgrund des wechselnden Konzepts mit Wochenkarte, Burgerkarte etc - immer gut essen können und der Laden war auch tatsächlich immer auf, wie angekündigt. Muss an dieser Stelle erwähnt werden, da dies leider nicht auf alle örtlichen Gastronomen zutrifft. Die Speisekarte war in beiden Monaten sowohl saisonal, als auch regional und bietet außerdem ein paar Bistro-Basics (Burger, Flammkuchen etc.). Für mich als großen Bierfan, habe ich mich umso mehr über die verhältnismäßig übergroße Bierkarte gefreut, die - abseits des Reinheitsgebots - auch für Craftbierfans ein paar lokale Spezialitäten bietet. Auch das war für mich eine schöne Besonderheit, die ich so sonst nirgendwo in der Region gefunden habe. Auch die Offenheit gegenüber Neuem, spiegelt sich in Getränke- und Speisekarte wieder. Neben dem o.g. backt die Frau des Wirts + Familie täglich frische Kuchen - ich muss gestehen keinen Kuchen gegessen zu haben, optisch sah allerdings alles mehr als verlockend aus, wenngleich ich mit Blick auf den Kalorienhaushalt mich dann lieber aufs Bier konzentriert habe. Den Laden habe ich sowohl in der Neben- als auch in der beginnenden Hauptsaison erleben dürfen - unabhängig der Auslastung hat das Foglwuid Team souverän und professionell auch die größten Anstürme routiniert "weggearbeitet", ohne dabei an Servicequalität zu verlieren. Alles in allem erneut vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit - so schnell als "Touri" so heimisch zu werden, passiert nicht oft. Danke an Schorsch, Lars und das Team für die tolle Zeit. Man sieht sich mit Sicherheit wieder!

Wir waren schon letzte Woche hier und heute Abend spontan nochmals :) Das Ambiente , die Mitarbeiter und das Essen sind super. Letzteres auch wirklich gut gemacht und frisch zubereitet. Wir kommen bald wieder und sagen danke

Coole Kneipe. Wir waren zum Burger Essen dort. Der klassische Foglwuid Burger 🍔 hat überzeugt. Der mit Gorgonzola für meine Feinschmecker-Begleitung nicht ganz so. Mir persönlich waren die Stühle zu unbequem, bin aber ein Sitzriese und habe Probleme, wenn die Tische zu niedrig sind.

So ein Dreckladen. Tiefkühlkost, mit Liebe beim kochen hat das gar nichts zutun.

Thanks to the many good reviews and the voucher book, we stopped in here this evening. We had made a reservation in advance and received a friendly welcome. We had pumpkin soup as a starter, and coq au vin and cordon bleu as the main course. The wait was pleasantly short, and the food was deliciously prepared. It was well-seasoned and there was nothing to complain about. We'll definitely be back, as they only serve burgers on Thursdays and Sundays. And we definitely want to try it.

Tried it spontaneously today. Super friendly staff. The food was really good and plentiful. Highly recommended. I'd love to go again.

Hello everyone, after a long and enjoyable visit, I visited the restaurant again. My disappointment cannot be expressed in words. Sunday is burger day... The meat was dry and tasted of nothing. You had to search for the salad and other ingredients with a magnifying glass. The entire meal and the picture of it were rather poorly presented. As for the drinks, you could say you can't go wrong... The gin was terrible and had to be returned. Served in a small water glass, the full amount was charged on the bill. The service was correct ✅ and I complained in a friendly manner. No response. No apology, and although the nightcap was offered, it was still charged in full. My conclusion... Very annoying, and we won't be visiting the restaurant again or recommending it to anyone. As a tourist... I won't recommend it anymore. What a shame.

The food came quickly and was delicious. The service was very friendly.

We were passing through and were feeling a little hungry. We ordered a homemade rösti with a pulled pork tenderloin, which was super delicious and beautifully presented 👍, as well as a flambée, which was also really good, plus three drinks, and it came to about €40, which was very reasonable. Unfortunately, the beer garden is on the street, but it wasn't too noisy. We'll be back.

Very tasty, it's worth making a reservation and taking your time - we had to wait 65 minutes for our burger 😊.

Fresh, delicious food and a great Austrian wine selection. For beer lovers there is the great Tegernseeer. Very friendly service. Gladly again!

We stopped by for lunch on a Saturday, which was relatively spontaneous, and luckily, we got a seat in the beer garden/terrace in the sunny spring weather. Our order was taken quickly, and the food (currywurst or Kaskrainer with fries and sauce, wild garlic noodles, Styrian schnitzel) was served fairly quickly. The taste and quality were excellent. In short, a successful lunch outing 👍🏽

The food is good, the prices reasonable. The selection of dishes is quite clear. There are a few soups and main courses. Schnitzel, currywurst (normal and vegan) and cordon bleu can be found here, for example. What bothered me a bit was that you don't get a salad with the schnitzel and fries. The fries were a little too crispy for my taste. The ambience is simple but OK. The service is friendly but not the fastest. Overall 3 stars.

After a long day on the bike, we were really hungry and were looking forward to a nice vegetarian meal. Unfortunately, upon arrival we discovered that for 14€ a thin fried rösti with sparsely unseasoned Mediterranean vegetables and very little goat cheese did not correspond to the price at all. The taste certainly didn't justify the price either. We were very disappointed and are now having another pizza delivered.

Actually a nice place. The waiter passed our long-empty plates several times without putting them down. Dogs that run free and come to every table are not for everyone. If you complain, you will be shouted down by the regulars' table. They lost me and my family as guests.

For me, this restaurant is one of the best restaurants around Lake Chiemsee. Thursday and Sunday are particularly recommended, as they are burger day. The burgers in a wide variety of variations are a real pleasure. But excellent food is also offered here on the other days. No matter what you order, it always tastes excellent. The staff is very friendly and quick. There is also good beer here. A big thank you to the entire team. Luck out of the pot.

Subsided… It's a shame, I was there several times last year and everything was fine. This year we reserved a table again and got a small (the smallest) cat table, even though some of it was free and not reserved. The salmon trout was also disappointing. One (1) potato (and not a big one), grilled vegetables not even a handful. A little too much for a starter, not enough for a main course. You get the feeling that currywurst is the focus of the kitchen. Overall, there was no longer any pleasure in staying there longer, for dessert, to drink or to come back more often like last year.

We come to Unterwössen every year to vacation, we always make sure that a place in the great restaurant is reserved for us, that the food is great, as is Lars and the boss, last year our friends came with us and were also thrilled to be coming this year The two of us will be back in July and hope to have a free place with you again. Super delicious burgers and fries and absolutely great staff! Everything is freshly prepared and the colorful buns are a real eye-catcher. I would never have thought of swapping my bread roll for a Rösti, but it was a real revelation 😄 Only the shredded sow is not ideal for this because it is simply “too” juicy ;) A location with rock charm that is a good change from the typical Bavarian restaurants in the area. We were here twice a week and will definitely come back on our next vacation.

Burgers are fried to death, no question as to how they should be fried, the price is high, all the side dishes are extra, I think you can get over 20 euros for a burger

Super leckerer Burger aus frischen Zutaten. Dazu leckere Pommes. Hier versteht jemand sein Handwerk. Es sind keine „Geiz ist geil“ Burger! Aber dafür sind sie richtig gut und der Preis ist fair.

Leute, die Lokalität müsst ihr besuchen wenn ihr in Unterwössen seid. Der Service, in dem Fall der Lars, ist der Knaller, auf den Mund gefallen ist der nicht. Immer für einen Spaß zu haben und nie verlegen beim austeilen. Nichts für Mimosen und zartbesaitete, halt typisch bayrisch. (Bleib so) Das Essen ist gut und reichlich, es gibt wirklich nichts zu mäkeln. Das Bier, typisch bayrisch, ist einfach nur gut. Denke wir werden im September wieder da sein. Gruß aus dem Sauerland.

3. Urlaub im Chiemgau und das Foglwuid besticht durch stets durch ein nettes Ambiente, sehr gutem Service und sehr gutes Essen. Moderne trifft Tradition. Ob vegetarische Küche oder Burger (mit vegetarischer oder Veganer Alternative) oder Traditionelle Küche ist für jeden etwas dabei. Auch Hunde sind erwünscht. Biergarten ist auch dabei. Auch die online Reservierung und Kartenzahlung funktioniert problemlos. Vielen Dank
