Absolutely a hit! We received a very friendly welcome and consistently competent advice on choosing the "right" bowl. I would especially like to highlight the option for guests to sample all the sauces before ordering—all of which are homemade. The bowls were plentiful, fresh, and delicious. The ambiance is modern, and there's also an outdoor area—the only drawback: many of the tables are very crooked due to the sloped ground (perhaps they can work on a suitable solution here).

It's difficult to express, maybe it was a better quality of the vegetables, maybe it was they buy vegetables from better local suppliers, the thing is that the bowl tasted better than many other places. It did somehow not taste the same I same from many other 'salad & bowl fast food' places. And the owner was super patient, walking is through the options, really trying to please the client. Yes it is more pricey than other bowl places, but the quality could be tasted.

We wanted to try something different for lunch. The concept is similar to Subway. The base is either salad or rice, or a mix. I had a small bowl. It tasted different. It cost almost €18 with a water; I think the bowl itself cost €13. Definitely too little for that price. I felt completely full; two or three hours later, I needed ice cream, and because I was so hungry, I ate a glass of sausage. It was probably a one-time experience. Next time, I'll go back to the Asian restaurant; they also have rice.

Generally a good place, but salad is full of water (see the photo). It dilutes the flavor and makes the whole bowl tasteless and watery.

A small plate is fine; a large one means you'll have to get fed up. The coffee is good, unlike most places around here. The service is 10/10. They brought us a high chair for the baby, joking about whether we want them to fill a bottle of beer for the baby... and the food was very good. The homemade spicy mayo is recommended, along with the teriyaki chicken. Great food, well prepared. Great! 👍 Cozy bar with a super friendly owner and very friendly staff. We spontaneously sat down outside for a snack during the Bardentreffen while we waited for the next set by "Random Us," who played so well right across the street. The Leberkäse (meatloaf) was delicious, the potato salad, lovingly mixed "with Allgäu hands," was delicious, and the red beer (Schanzenbräu - I hadn't heard of it yet) was perfect! The place is centrally located, but on a side street, so if you want to escape the hustle and bustle and take a relaxing break, this is the place. If we're back in Nuremberg next year, we'll definitely stop by again and try one of the bowls... 😉 Thank you so much!

The rating is due to the volume level. At 8 p.m., they turn it up to such an extent that any conversation is impossible (97 dB, discotheque volume). Some guests, like us, who couldn't find a seat outside, immediately turned around. We finished eating and then immediately fled. What a pity... Addendum to the owner's response: if you look at the picture, those are measurements taken with a measuring device (since I work a lot with acoustics...). You installed smaller, black sound boxes on purpose. The Bose built-in speakers can't handle the noise, but these can. They were installed during dinner, and then the volume was turned up. We're not talking about the outside here, but the inside. There was no band playing outside at that time, although it's part of the festival to have live performances. It's just that the outside bands make less noise than you do inside (I find it interesting that you want to protect guests from noise by playing even louder music). There are more complaints about the volume in your reviews. By the way, this wasn't our first time visiting you; we come to the Bard Festival every year. But after such noise levels and the response, this will definitely be the last time. Bye forever!

I went to the café late one afternoon because I felt like having a bowl. The selection of ingredients is really large, and I especially like that you can taste the dressings beforehand, so you can be sure you're choosing the right one for you. The bowl itself was super delicious and fresh, and there's really nothing to complain about in terms of taste. Unfortunately, I had another unpleasant experience with a particular employee. A tall man who always wears a cap has caught my attention several times with his unfriendly and irritated manner. Even when greeting me, he didn't seem particularly interested or friendly, but rather stressed. He spoke very condescendingly. While preparing my bowl, he spoke in an irritated tone throughout, which made the whole experience unpleasant. It seemed as if every question or decision I made bothered him, which is a shame. It seemed as if he had no desire at all to engage with the guests. Even when preparing my bowl, he assembled the ingredients carelessly and hastily, without any care or friendliness. There was no brief eye contact, no smile, instead, a palpable irritation. I noticed this especially in comparison to the other employees, who are genuinely friendly and attentive. They greet you warmly, ask if everything is okay, and create a pleasant atmosphere. This makes the contrast all the more striking. I've been to this café three times now, and unfortunately, I had to interact with this employee twice. This somewhat tarnished my impression, as friendly interaction is just as important to me as the food itself. The café's taste is truly top-notch, but I wish the entire team exuded the same friendliness. Then I'd be even more likely to come back!
