We were traveling to Mülheim and wanted to eat a Köfte sandwich there... Regarding the sandwich itself, I have to say that it was very tasty and freshly prepared. However, I only give it 3 stars: for the ambience, the friendly, nice staff and the delicious Köfte sandwich. I deducted 2 stars because we weren't allowed to eat the sandwich in the restaurant, we had to eat the sandwich outside. When we asked, we were told that the boss (owner?) didn't want you to eat just one sandwich in the restaurant. Well, then the next time we stroll in Mülheim we'll happily go somewhere else 😏

One of the worst kebab places I visited in Germany. Prices are exorbitant/unnecessarily expensive. The waiters are disrespectful and surly. I thanked him for every product he brought. He didn't say bon appetit once, nor did he react. We want drinks. Leaving the place where you dined unhappy and angry is a very bad experience... The distance between the minced meat in the lahmacun was measurable in metres. So why don't they add two more grams of stuffing to the lahmacun that costs 7 euros? I asked the waiter if it was just me, he said that when the dough expanded, there were gaps. My friend, did I ask you for a scientific explanation? You are telling me the laws of physics. I think they made a special effort to find a glass as good as a raki glass to pour the open ayran into. It was a meticulous study to find out what kind of glass we put this ayran in that would cause the most swearing. The legal equivalent of this glass is to incite people to hatred and resentment... It is not something that can be done without worrying about whether people would be happy if they added two grams more of minced meat or a glass that was a little bigger. You would have intervened if it had been a little less, but you couldn't accept that as a gentleman. We were subjected to forced psychological violence and left the place unhappy without being able to object.

I ate the vegetable pan and was super happy with it. The champions in particular have a great grilled aroma from the coals. The hummus was also very good, a little creamier would be perfect. You get a bread plate with three small dishes for free at the beginning and you could have gotten free tea at the end, but you were already too full. My wife chose a veal skewer in the Dürüm, which she liked, but next time she would rather choose the thinly sliced ​​meat from the kebab.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is always very happy. I especially recommend İskender Döner.

Unfortunately, I realized that the visit to the restaurant was a failure. Mixed salad for about 8 euros included diced tomatoes with cucumber and 4 small lettuce leaves. At the grill plate, after a while a piece of the meat was brought (the plate was almost thrown down) by the waiter with no comment as to why he brought the piece. The staff didn't really try hard and were nice to serve, as if no one had wanted to work there. Too bad. We won't be coming back.

Was just here: Lamb kebab as take away,...received gristly chicken kebab after unpacking...happened, but uncool and much worse...in my opinion it was absolutely not tasty...maybe interested people will try other options than this Harran Doy Doy store.

I've been here frequently over the years. There is good Turkish cuisine here. I particularly like the grill plate and the dessert Künefe (baked cheese in a crispy coating in sugar syrup). The calendar kebab is good and so is the bridal soup (Mercimek). The food was always good. The bread basket is also great. You also get some sauces with which you can wait until the food is prepared. Most of the time the bread (flatbread and thin flatbread / Dürüm) is very fresh and therefore tastes incredibly good. But this freshness is not always the case. What differs greatly is the service and the price, which has increased significantly over time. When it comes to service, it's always a lottery - sometimes great, sometimes terrible. My conclusion is that I would like to go here when I get the chance, but not as often anymore because the prices have risen again.

What nonsense is this?! Take a look at this “doner kebab”. When making the supposed kebab-like object, the bread was cut into 2 slices and topped. When assembling, you secure the object from all slots. Even 2 meters of aluminum foil couldn't stop the flood of sauce. The aluminum foil did the best for her. Please look at the photo and you will see that the meat was raw and my thumb sank into the bread. My palm had to form a fan so that the thing wouldn't completely fall apart. Not again. Then I threw it in the trash.

Absolutely delicious kebabs! The winner of our tour of Cologne for the year 2024. We selected 35 kebabs in the whole city based on reviews and visited 12 of them in two days. This one outright won in every way. I can especially recommend the absolutely stunning lamb, which took our breath away. We had to take another six pieces to Prague, and the kebab was excellent the next day as well. I will definitely visit again and can only recommend to everyone. This is currently the best kebab in Cologne!

I was here once 2 years ago and was very positively impressed. Now even after 2 years my opinion has not changed. Fresh food with very good quality. The service was very friendly and caring. The ambience invites you to linger and feel good. I can only recommend visiting here and bringing a good appetite with you ☺️

I went to the restaurant with my son, since his mother was busy, I took over the food. My goal was simple: to serve my son good soup. I ordered chicken soup and told the waiter, "Please not too hot as a child will drink it." But what came out was a piping hot and salty soup! I told the waiter that the soup was too hot and too salty and asked if I could get some pieces of meat. Shortly afterwards a huge plate full of meat arrived. Surprised, I asked, "What should I do with so much meat?" I understood that everything here is based on the motto “more is better”. This experience made me smile and remains in my memory as an unforgettable experience.

It is an environment that we are happy to visit every time we come to Cologne. It is an environment where we are very pleased with the friendliness and punctuality of Mr. Halis. The food is great, the atmosphere is superb.

We usually like coming to this restaurant. But a lot has changed. We ordered İskender and Beyti. The bread (pide) was not warm but more importantly: it was not fresh, but old. Even worse was the bread under the İskender kebap, it always has to be fresh, crispy and toasted. Unfortunately, the food was very carelessly prepared and, above all, it was neither crispy, roasted and fresh. When I complained about this to Keller, I first had to convince him for a long time because he was absolutely convinced that your bread was always fresh and crispy and I was wrong. Finally, I presented him with a piece of the bread and offered him a taste. In the end he got annoyed and offered me another meal. I chose the dish “Ali nazik” and again had to wait a long time for my food. The Ali Nazik was also prepared completely incorrectly. The meat had very little eggplant sauce. Half of the plate consisted of bulgur pilaf and rice. What does bulgur pilaf and rice have to do with Ali Nazik kebab? Since when has “pirinç pilav” been eaten together with “bulgur pilav” in Turkish cuisine? Only poor students in Turkey do this so that they can get enough food cheaply, but never a kebabcı from Gaziantep or Urfa. Since the Ali Nazik was one euro more expensive, I had to pay the difference of one euro. When I asked, the waiters said that's just how it is and that I should just pay. They didn't even apologize. Why do you discuss with the customer? Why do you still charge the customer the 1 euro? Very bold. The Lahmacun now costs 6 euros! They have also increased the price of the Ayran to 3 euros. (Ayran is a Turkish drink and consists of water, very little yogurt and salt. It is usually the cheapest drink in Turkish restaurants) In summary: The quality of the food and customer friendliness have declined significantly, but prices have risen sharply again.

Staff was a bit boring and the ambience is quite ok. Panzen soup is really tasty. So well done! The liver Dürüm was also very good. Not too dry! Lahmacun is filling in one serving. wafer-thin dough! You don't have to finish the rice/bulgur. Meze is served as an aperitif in the middle, with plenty of bread on the side.

First of all I have to say the food was really good but the service wasn't good. We waited about 40 minutes for the food and the waiters waited until our plate was empty and wanted to clean up straight away. You were indirectly forced to get up and leave immediately after eating. Even when you were finished you couldn't come down a bit, you had to leave straight away.

For me the best kebap restaurant on Keupstr. I've tried several and have to say that the overall package is right. Firstly, there is free meze and bread before the meal and secondly, the food tastes really good. The service is also friendly and attentive.

I recently visited Doy Doy restaurant and ordered a falafel dürüm and a kebab to take away. Unfortunately, I discovered that when preparing the plates for the customers there and when I ordered, the employee touched almost everything with his bare hands - from the falafel to the bread to the vegetables. He only grabbed the salad and the sauce with tongs and a ladle. His hands didn't appear clean, and he didn't wash them between customers. He also operated the cash register without gloves. This lack of hygiene was extremely unsavory. In a restaurant I expect more care so that I can enjoy my food with a clear conscience.

For the money I would have imagined a bit more portions. The kebab plate has more salad than anything else. The fries were probably counted and put on the plate. Personally, I won't come here again. Such a nice atmosphere and good, friendly service.

I actually found the starter and dessert tastiest...I wouldn't take grill plates anymore...all in all it was a bit too "flamy" for me. Ambience is difficult for me... I didn't find it very comfortable... but bright lights and loud are very typical. Incredibly quick staff and food on the table very quickly. A little too fast for me too. It's not mine, but if you want something typically Turkish, then you've come to the right place...👍

It's really sad that such an old business can be such a disappointment. Iskender is in the top three of the worst Iskender I have ever eaten. The sauce was not good. Half of the doner was raw and half was burnt. Likewise, the döner I told for children was the same. Half of it was burned. The children could not eat it because it was bitter. I definitely do not recommend it.

Ein turkische Pizza (Lahmacun) ohne all costs 6euro!! Das gibs doch nicht halloo nie wieder. Finger weg! I think you'd better reconsider yourself, it really doesn't suit you.
