Top-notch. Variations of burgers and fries. A no-frills, yet unique place. Delicious food.

Delicious, freshly prepared burgers; the variety of vegetarian options is especially great, and they can even be made vegan upon request. We had two of them and they were incredibly tasty – as a flexitarian, I really don't need meat!

The burgers are delicious and there's a great selection. The fries are decent and the sauces are good. The staff was friendly. Unfortunately, the children's menu items aren't listed on the blackboard. When we were there on Saturday evening, the tables and chairs were quite filthy: crumbs, stains, spilled drinks… it was rather unappetizing.

A really delicious burger with plenty of toppings. I'd gladly have it again...

Unfortunately, our reservation made through the Google tool wasn't forwarded to the restaurant, but we still managed to find a table. They offer a wide selection of burgers, including gluten-free options. There are also several vegan choices. Both the burgers and the sides and sauces were delicious. There wasn't much service, as you order and pick up your food yourself after it's called.

Not a big burger lover, but still I have to say the chilli cheese burger I tried was something so good that I didn’t have for a long time. The sweet potatoes were also crispy and soft inside 😍

My order of 4 burgers and 3 fries was ready within 15 minutes. Very generous portions and delicious patties.

First of all: the food was very tasty BUT I found the smell in the shop extremely disturbing. I personally have a very sensitive nose, and I was almost ready to refuse to eat my burger because the premises smelled extremely like, to my nose, old French fry grease. ... The restrooms could also use a bit more maintenance!

Super tasty burgers and great fries, too. There's a rotating burger special with new ideas. Every classic burger is available in vegetarian versions, and there are other exciting vegan and vegetarian options, such as the jackfruit burger. A visit at lunchtime is highly recommended, as they offer a reasonably priced lunch menu. The only criticism would be the ambiance, which doesn't lend itself to a long visit. The restroom in the basement, in particular, is in dire need of renovation.

€14 per burger, plus €4 for fries, so €18 for a meal is what I consider a restaurant price. However, you have to order at the counter. The decor is very spartan; I've seen nicer kebab shops. The counter has a very deep and bulky left-hand shelf, made of Coke crates (not even a kebab shop would allow that) and black chipboard. This is supposed to be the "ordering area." When I stood in front of the glass counter to the right and wanted to order from one of the two employees, the employee mistook me for another customer and asked me, "What else do you want?" After I said, "I'm a new customer," with a smile, I was rudely told, "You have to order at the cashier," with a wave of his hand toward the left corner of the counter. The choice of words was not distorted, with an undertone that it was absolutely obvious. No "please," and no one was at the cashier. I was already standing in front of the cashier. It didn't matter whether I was standing on the right or left corner of the counter, and the cash register was exactly one meter away on both corners. When I tried to make a joke about it with the employee who arrived later, there was no capacity there either. Well, I understand that, she wasn't there at the time. But the fact that she couldn't even list the sauces and made me run to the sign at the very back of the store, "They're up there on the right, you can read it," was too much for me. I then pointed out that you shouldn't tell customers that they should stand at the cash register in such a strange way. What I wanted to say was: "Then just put a large plant there if you don't want your customers to stand on the right side of the counter in front of the cash register instead of on the left, but don't be harsh and tell them more politely that they should stand in front of an empty cash register, and especially not in that tone." The two men, who hadn't even been able to greet me, were already laughing. I then left angrily. Maybe I had chosen the wrong tone with the employee; it wasn't her fault. But the two laughing colleagues at the grill weren't suited for the service area; they should be working where there are no customers. I noticed their curt manner a year ago. The shop was maybe 1/3 full at that time, so there were 6 customers eating outside and the same number inside. I then went to the kebab shop across the street. The man greeted me with a smile and even talked to me more than necessary. I see a lot of potential for a snack bar that wants to be cool; laughing at its customers when giving feedback is an important cornerstone. But there are enough young people who think burgers are cool, so they'll never run out of customers. The time of the interaction was 5:00 PM on August 3, 2025.

We go there often and try our way through the menu. It's always delicious, and the wait isn't long.

The burger tastes good – and that's what matters. There aren't many good burger joints in Bonn, but this one is definitely one of the better ones in terms of taste. I've been here several times with friends and have never been disappointed.

The food and selection were excellent. The ambiance and especially the restrooms are in need of renovation (no locks, broken door frames). Best to order takeout!

The best burgers, huge vegetarian and vegan offer! There are a variety of vegetarian/vegan patties - really something special! There are also gluten-free rolls and a great lunch menu. Plus friendly, always fast service - simply five stars! 😊

I ordered a pesto burger that had nothing to do with pesto. When asked, the white sauce was also confirmed to be pesto. However, there is no white pesto. It's a shame, but the burger was otherwise just average.

Food great, tasty and fresh! We lacked a bit of direction. We sat, thinking we would be served. You have to order at the checkout and payment is required in advance.

"Customer - we don't care" The attitude to work at “Burgerwerk” must be something like this - there is no other way to explain why an order was repeatedly canceled after waiting for over an hour. Something can always happen/go wrong, even if the delivery partner may be the culprit - it happens to the best. But to make the customer - REPEATEDLY - wait an hour and then cancel the order without comment via SMS - hard to put into words. The basically good food can't change that. NEVER AGAIN! There are enough others.

Great for burger lovers. The fries taste good every time and there are also sweet potato fries. Different sauces of your choice are also available. The meat is medium and well done, which I find very attentive. There are also some meatless burgers. Price/performance top.

I had the Vierkäsehoch burger on the menu, I found the food delicious and the staff very nice. I would come back.

I had dinner there with my family. The store has a cool rather than warm ambience. The burgers cost around €13-14 and came without a side of fries. During the conversation I learned that not only fries but also other things are fried in the deep fryer. For four people, the first burger was already lukewarm. What I didn't like at all was that we sat outside and had to go back in to get the food. The store had no other patrons and there were two of them behind the counter. Someone could have brought out the food. The burgers weren't quite ok. Unfortunately the rest isn't.

We waited 40 minutes for two citizens. Afterwards we had to ask ourselves where our order was. Then we first got the citizens and then we had to prove that we ordered fries and so on…

The burgers are amazing and there is a huge selection. What is particularly noteworthy is that there is a gluten-free version, which was also very tasty. The decor is a little dark and not so cozy, but the service is very friendly and nice!

Insane Burgis at an absolutely fair menu price

We order burgers and fries here very regularly to pick up. We have the fries made extra crunchy. Clear recommendation, as they are otherwise a bit too soft for my taste. Almost all burgers can also be topped with a vegetarian/vegan patty. For example, I often eat the Camembert burger with the oatmeal patty - very tasty. Unfortunately, I personally find the atmosphere in the restaurant uncomfortable, it's more like a snack bar or bistro. Ergo, takeaway ;)

I've been eating at Burgerwerk for years and think the burgers are great! For vegetarians, I would recommend the kidney bean patty and my favorite burger at the moment is the Camembert burger. I always order the fries extra crispy (in my opinion everyone should do this) because the normal preparation is a bit too sloppy for me. Then the fries are really good too. Overall, value for money is top. The ambience is fine. You can sit there with a lot of people and there is also the option to sit outside. But I would say it's more of an upscale snack bar than a fancy restaurant. I couldn't think of a better burger place nearby, absolutely recommended.

We've been eating here on and off for almost 5 years and I have to say, I've never seen a place that consistently delivers consistently good quality and taste over the entire period! Plus, you're the only ones who can do sweet potato fries PERFECTLY 🥰 We always enjoy going here.

The burgers are delicious. Unfortunately, a burger with meat has been delivered to me several times even though I had ordered a vegan pattie. Recently I had a burger for over 11 euros where the avocado was bad. Too bad!

In my opinion the best burger shop in Bonn. The lunch menu is a great deal. All burgers are recommended without exception, especially the oat and kidney (meatless). The fries and the dips offered with them are also delicious. Also super nice staff! I will always be happy to come back!

We ordered burgers and overall everything was ok. BUT the jackfruit burger was really disgusting. The pieces looked like they had been dumped directly onto the burger from a can, not seasoned, not fried, nothing. Really inedible, you can't serve this to anyone as food.

I have no idea whether the food is good...ATTENTION, the cooperation with Liferando is not good and an adequate alternative to receiving our order was not implemented in a customer-friendly manner by the Burgerwerk staff, other than the statement: WE ARE NOT TO FAULT! ...well, we'll probably have to go to sleep hungry

The citizens are tasty and inexpensive. Only the sweet potatoes were on the verge of being burnt. They were already very, very dark. But where you should definitely invest is in a coat of paint in the stairwell on the way to the toilet. A bucket of Alpina white works wonders. The sanitary facilities are functional, but marginal.

Very tasty, went really quickly. Had the pulled pork burger. What we didn't know was that you can choose the bread roll yourself. Unfortunately we weren't told. But otherwise everything was great. Gladly again.

One of the best burger shops in Bonn. Great burger meat! The monthly burgers are particularly recommended. The asparagus burger with hollandaise sauce was amazing!

Unfortunately not a recommendation! We were assigned a table between empty containers with a view of the chaotic kitchen. The burger came carelessly thrown together on a broken plate. The chairs were full of bulky waste and dirty. It wasn't a look, it was just disgusting. Then the smell directly from the toilet corridor that was next to our table...the train station toilet is a joke compared to that. I can't find anything positive...

We asked for the vegan option and it had minced meat inside. The food was tasteless and not cooked enough. The fries were cold and tasted like they'd been left out since the morning. The whole place smells like meat left in the sun for 4-5 days and the bathroom smells like live chicken. The staff was unfriendly.

The burgers are pretty good, but what's really annoying are the waiting times. When you order by phone you are generally told it will take 15 minutes, even if it takes twice or three times as long.

Went to the Burgerwerk again for some time today because we were huge fans and always enthusiastic, but that's no longer the case. The burger Toscana was our favorite with a 1/2 cm thick slice of goat cheese and lots of fresh rocket. Today we looked in vain for the goat cheese but we were told it was the melted one on the burger. Otherwise you could clearly see a thick disk. Now it's the case that you can only slightly sense the goat cheese flavor at one corner of the burger, but nothing more. And unfortunately the rocket was also very limp and little. no more recommendation. I would also be willing to pay a euro more for the old, better burger, but that's not possible. I'm not going there anymore for that. Dear burgerwerk people, please bring back your old standards, that's why people love you.

I won't be ordering from you again! I had placed an order with my girlfriend: 2 burgers and one fries. However, when the Lieferando driver arrived, the order was not complete. When asked where the rest of the order was, the answer was “I was only given this”. So we had to go out and order the rest of our order again and pick it up. When we asked whether we would get a portion of fries on the house as a gesture of goodwill, the employee named Toni said, “You should stop arguing and pick up your burger.” So I pay delivery fees and have to make the trip myself because they are not competent enough to send the entire order. Due to the back and forth, the entire order was of course cold, soggy and inedible. Unfortunately, customer service is very important to you.

We were there...the atmosphere was terrible, bare tables and 3 delivery drivers...the service was overwhelmed by the phone and no one seemed to care about the line to order. We left again after the fries came out of the bag... not worth the drive there... ordering could be better... probably

Extremely authentic people who you can tell are PASSIONATE about what they do: Conjure up damn good burgers and side dishes. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian in many variations. Nothing more and certainly nothing less. Great quality of food and service. Keep it up! 🤗

Very friendly, very fast, very tasty!! We eat here more often. Prices are moderate, especially for the lunch menu. If you order medium here you will also get medium, unfortunately that is not the case everywhere! The ambience leaves a lot to be desired, but I don't value it when eating burgers, it can be "rustic"! What's actually a bit annoying is the door that keeps opening and closing, which makes it cold at the entrance.

The food was good, but the open ceiling paneling (also above the cooking area) doesn't create a good atmosphere and the sanitary facilities are a disaster.

We had friendly service, the fries were delicious. We'll never go there again. The ambience is terrible. You're sitting in a heap too much, it's too tight, even though we reserved in advance, we had no idea which table was for us. Super cold every time the door opens and that happens a lot. The toilet goes down a searching path where only one door is lockable. When I asked whether the Joppie sauce was vegan and the sweet chili, the answers were vague. I didn't want to be rude and pray for things to look. My partner enjoyed the burger of the month. I had the jackfruit burger in vegan, I don't think it was. Why should there be vegan mayo on it, but not with the fries? It's also a shame that my partner and I's entire bottom bun was soggy. The jackfruit was very sour, so it wasn't ripe yet.

EDIT: After a long time we were there again. We ordered pulled pork burgers, fries, sweet potato fries and 2 dips. The portions of the burgers have become even smaller. The meat that used to ooze out of the burgers was now hard to find. Minimal coleslaw, taste ok at best. Buns were cold, both fries and meat were only lukewarm. That was our last visit to the Burgerwerk! No more recommendation. Since the beginning of the Burgerwerk, we have been guests rarely but regularly. Whether the place is stylish or uncomfortable is debatable. The quality is good, as is the taste of burgers, pulled pork and side dishes. But the portion size is no longer acceptable. In the past, a burger with a side dish would fill you up more than enough, but I only managed a portion of pulled pork with difficulty. Today I eat 2 burgers with 2 sides without being overly full. And the prices are far too high for that. I don't know if the management has changed or what caused the place to reduce the portion sizes so much, but if that doesn't change we'll have to find a new burger place!
