BURGER KING in Bad Mergentheim

The food is usually always good; but somehow no one there can manage to cook the bacon on a burger properly. It's always pink again, even if you ask the staff to cook it more, and those exact same staff members then prepare the food. Disappointing. But otherwise it's okay.

All the tables were sticky with food residue and nobody came to clean them. The toilets smelled awful and were very dirty. The food tasted like nothing, like cardboard!

Unfortunately, the quality varies greatly from time to time.

I've been to Burger King many times and I'm always very satisfied. The food tastes consistently good – the burgers are fresh, delicious, and served piping hot. The service is also friendly and fast. Overall, a very positive experience that keeps me coming back.

The restaurant is always dirty. The drinks station, the tables, and the area in front of the restaurant are all filthy. The only option for the fries sauce is vegan now, and it tastes absolutely awful!

Staff were standing behind the counter on their phones instead of wiping down the many dirty tables. The tray trolleys were also overflowing, even though the team had nothing to do... It's a shame, because the products themselves were fine, as usual.

I'm not a Burger King fan, but I went there because of my daughter. I think there are too many processed foods, too many additives, and too much sugar. These kinds of foods aren't good for your body if you eat them too often. You can try it once, sure, but that's about it! Stay healthy and pay attention to your diet!

A very friendly and personable team – you immediately feel welcome! The food is always fresh and of the highest quality; only fresh products are used here. The food didn't taste good, it seemed burnt or lacked salt. In any case, it tasted much better at other places. On top of that, my double cheese was missing a slice of cheese. The children's menu has a display case where you can see which toys are available. My child picked out one, but it wasn't there. When I asked if they could get us the last one from the display case, the answer was simply "No" (the ladies at the checkout were very friendly). Only the "boss" didn't. Then please remove the missing items in a timely manner so the children aren't disappointed; after all, you pay for them. Everything in the restroom is wet and dirty, toilet paper rolls are missing. And one faucet took forever to turn off. The table was sticky. The carts with the tablet dispensers were full. And this wasn't the first time; we've been there several times, including at the drive-thru, and there were always little things that were done incorrectly. For example, if you order a drink without ice, there was actually ice in it or something was simply missing.

In short, the fries were a disaster, the rest of the food was okay (but we were practically the only customers), the staff could have been better at being friendly. The music was too loud.

Unfortunately, when there are coupons, the ice cream dispenser or milkshake machine is often broken. So the offers are useless.

Drinks are warm inside, usually no ice cubes. The same filth has been hanging on the wall of the table next to the drinks dispenser for at least three months... disgusting 🤮

Unfortunately, I have to give it one star; 0 stars would be better. They had to fold crowns to serve the customers. Then the food (the fries) was a disaster. You won't see me there again.

The store was clean, the new self-order kiosks worked well, and even larger orders were handled quickly and accurately. Update from July 16, 2022 – Downgraded to 3 stars: Unfortunately, my impression has worsened. On a Friday evening, I was at the drive-thru at 10:15 p.m. All the monitors were still on – suggesting that the store is open – but no one took my order. After a long wait, I finally went to McDonald's, where I was told that Burger King closes at 10:00 p.m. I would have preferred clearly visible opening hours, off-screen displays, or at least a brief message for waiting customers. The restaurant itself also lacked communication: You stand at the checkout for a long time without anyone telling you to use the ordering kiosks. Unfortunately, the customer service overall seems unattentive – the competition is much better positioned. Update from November 29, 2022 – Downgraded to 2 stars: After a long time, I gave the restaurant another chance – unfortunately, without success. Despite low occupancy around 6 p.m., the food took a very long time to prepare. My order also lacked: 1 ketchup with the fries 2 curry dip with the 9-piece nuggets That's annoying, especially when you only notice it at home. Catastrophe, burger was wrong - I went back and had to argue with the employee until I got the right burger. Apparently the app had an error in the system and a different menu was shown - but I specifically asked if it was this one. Didn't want to swap my burger, I only eat chicken and no beef, even insulted me. Food is warm but sometimes takes forever. That's the last time they saw me!

Probably the worst Burger King there is. Where do we start? First of all, the employees, as soon as you drive into the drive-in and try to order something, gray hairs grow on you, the employees often misunderstand everything and simply assume that you said it instead of asking again what exactly you said. And when you correct the order at the front, the employees piss themselves so hard that you don't feel like going there anymore, the employees are constantly annoyed, you feel unwanted at all times, whether in the restaurant or in the drive-thru. In addition, the employees themselves obviously don't understand how the coupons work, you tell them the code on the app, it says the code has been redeemed, but they say no, nothing works. So now I would like to share my most recent experience with you, my friend is a vegetarian, we went to the Burger King in the DriveIn, I ordered her a plant based menu, the employee even asked: "Plant based yes?" and I said yes Afterwards I ordered my food when I got home, we sat down and started eating and my girlfriend immediately spit out the first bite and said it was meat. Wanted to try an alternative to McDonald's. Once and never again... First I went in. After a few people waited at a distance from the counter, I assumed that they wouldn't be served here and that everyone was waiting for their food. There were only two people behind the counter packing burgers. I had previously downloaded the app, but unfortunately it is not possible to order in advance (like at McDonald's). So I stood at a screen and tried to scan the QR code. Somehow it didn't work. So I clicked my burger manually. There were different things to choose from. I then clicked on everything I wanted on the burger. Suddenly the thing showed almost €22 for a burger. Apparently I was actually too stupid to use this terminal. I then left the store and drove into McDrive, sorry drive in, when I finally found the very poorly signposted entrance. It actually took 45 minutes from the entrance to the exit!!!! There were “only” 4 cars in front of me. I gave my code through the intercom, but it wasn't recognized. I almost didn't understand the male voice on the other end. At some point I understood what had happened before. The clerk was then very helpful and explained to me what I needed to click on the phone. It took 12 minutes until I got my food. Since I was standing directly at the issuing point, logically nothing was happening behind me. The best part of all was actually the fries. The burger meat was somehow sizzled and very dry. Everything was only lukewarm. Taste also out of place. I have no idea why everything took so long and then wasn't fresh or hot. I immediately deleted the Burger King app. That one experience was enough for me. If fast food then definitely McDonald's.

I ate probably the worst double Whopper ever here today. Not only that the citizen was almost cold. It also didn't taste like anything. He was dry and really anything but good. I don't know if the sauce was completely forgotten or was out, but I've never had anything like that served as a Whopper in my life. What was sad was that I was hoping that there might be some flavor somewhere further in. Shouldn't have been done. You only get a decent one if you don't take more than one bite. My attempt to keep eating in the hope that it will taste good at some point seems to be seen as an attempt to sneak food or something. Conclusion After eating Bürgerking for years, I never experienced anything negative and the branch in Bad Mergentheim failed in several things. If the goods take a long time, you don't let the citizen lie there for 5 minutes. Maybe the cold would have at least been prevented. The order chain should urgently be worked on because there are massive problems or the goods should be left on a warm surface instead of on the tablet. It doesn't change the catastrophic taste, which didn't even have the hint of grilled, which is why I assume that the sauce was completely forgotten. Apparently you get overwhelmed when you forget basic things like sauce. The employees tried very hard to solve the problem, especially the colleague who didn't speak German, which wasn't a problem because I speak English very well. But apparently the branch manager and his team are overwhelmed. Mr. Franz gave the instructions that since I had eaten almost half of it, I threw away the rest, which, by the way, had not even been checked, and that I would not get a replacement. If I'm honest, I'd lost interest in Whoppers at that point. But it was sad. Unfortunately, even at the end of 2023, the citizens will not be able to do what they order correctly. And in 2025 they'll go one better and won't accept cash because the note is too big. This store is really bad. Better than any other BK I've ever been to. Firstly, they're not unfriendly to the customers and secondly, you at least get your job done.

At lunchtime in the drive-in, poor communication with the service, there was no more fruity, drinks were warm and tasteless. When asked, there were new ones but they were wrong and tasted stale, fries tasted old and stale. Great branch! At first there were difficulties with employees, but that has subsided. Ambiance is very nice for a fast food chain and service is also stable. Hello. I had dinner here today around 10:30 p.m. My drink, a lift, that I ordered wasn't even available. The drinks machine was broken, only warm mixed things without carbonation. When I asked for a replacement water it was refused. There is no such thing as saying no. Was definitely my last visit. By the way, it was only when we asked that they said that the machine was defective.

However, I noticed that sometimes there is a woman at the counter (boss?) who repeatedly shouts at the employees in the back in a soldier's tone "faster". Is this how you motivate employees? I doubt it. As a customer, I think it's great to get my goods quickly, but that disturbs me a bit. This BK branch - simply beautiful. Super new and hygienic, something you don't actually know from other fast food chains. The employees are also very correct. The food was also good, the burgers were well topped and not thrown together and haphazardly like the competition in MGH.

Used the drive in while passing through. There was nothing going on. Staff poorly understood. Poor German - therefore poor communication. Not recommended. The food was incomplete and the waiting time was too long even though there was nothing going on. But the food was hot, only the fries were old - not freshly prepared. Such bad fries. Bad. Ordered food in the drive in after a bit of a wait, the order was checked. Instead of 3x fries, we only had one, the juice drink from the Junior Meal was missing, as well as ketchup and mayonnaise. A more detailed check of the orders placed together would be desirable. Burgers were good. Fries had probably been there for a while, but given that the prices had risen so much, you could have expected a little more care.

Since we were in the thermal baths in Bad Mergentheim, we just wanted to go to a fast food restaurant as normal. I noticed negatively at the terminals that you can't even order pickles or anything else from the burger, so I had to go to the counter.. ( Can the other FF provider do better) I mean everything so far so good, but when I had to have a discussion with the employee for 5 minutes until he understood WITHOUT pickles, WITHOUT pickles, tried everything possible, then when he understood it the sixth time he said, “Say even" Drinks vending machine modern, but only with water… All in one, well... It simply confirmed to me again why I haven't gone to this FF provider for a long time.

When we went to our table my shoes were almost taken off because the floor was very sticky. I asked an employee about it. The person made it clear that I was understood. After 15 minutes the floor was still sticky, then someone came with a mop. There were 6 guests present at the time. The pump for drinks wasn't really clean either.
