Burger King in Schwerin

Today, November 15th, I bought two burgers at the drive-thru – a mistake! They were at least a day old! I think it's outrageous to sell something like that!

Please don't go there again. The food is cold and tasteless, and the staff smells of sweat. I ordered for three people and was treated like dogs. The food isn't fresh at all – a complete waste of money! I paid over €50 and was served hamburgers that had probably been cold for three or four days, and they asked if I could have them warmed up. I left the hamburgers there. They weren't warmed up. They were very rude to me. The staff and I had to leave through no fault of our own, after losing money. They treated me like a dog. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Fast and friendly service. The food was, in my opinion, decent, freshly prepared, and tasty. The Burger King is quiet and bright, which makes the atmosphere pleasant. Overall, it's worth five stars ⭐️

New review October 19, 2025 Wrong burger (smaller and cheaper than the one we paid for!), no side dishes (3 times ketchup and 0) even though we ordered. Unfortunately, we only had a quick look at the burger and discovered at home that something was missing or bad.

I like that you can quickly drive to Burger King, ideal for a quick meal. Unfortunately, orders are often served incorrectly or incompletely. On the positive side, the seating areas are cleaned regularly. However, the strong sunlight is a real nuisance; the privacy screens could be lowered further to reduce the glare inside. I find the one-hour parking limit too short; this often creates unnecessary time pressure when eating. The value for money is good. Order errors are corrected easily and without discussion. Furthermore, the straws are sturdy and don't become unpleasantly soft over time.

The food was not tasty, the service was very slow, and the place was dirty. There were also too many flies, constantly trying to get into your mouth while eating. Very unpleasant experience.

It was okay. It felt like the Big King had been on the menu for a while, but the spicy hot honey chicken was already well-stocked.

I bought a Chicken King at Burger King for €9.89 – I expected a king, but what I got was more like a student burger worth €4.80. The portion was disappointing: a tiny patty, barely any sauce (only on the bottom bun), and the only truly "royal" thing was the huge cardboard box for my burger. When I complained, I received the reply that it was just a marketing ploy and everything was "normal." But leaving a restaurant that calls itself "King" hungry is simply disappointing. Perhaps they should be more honest and change the name: Burger King → Burger FARMER / SERVANT Chicken King → Chicken Joke Because the only things that are royal here are the cardboard packaging and the price. 👑

I can definitely recommend it. It's always clean there and the food is consistently great, not like at other fast food chains, which are one day so-so tomorrow.

The food only got one star because the milkshake was the only thing that tasted good. The chicken nugget burger felt like it had been reheated three times. The nuggets were so hard you couldn't bite into them. The cheeseburger and chili cheese burger were only lukewarm. The fries weren't much better either.

Still with the old design. Orders were ready quickly, and the tables were clean. Returns were also emptied regularly. The restaurant is also relatively large with various seating options.

A few months ago, my husband picked up food for himself, me (then just three months pregnant), and my mother from this Burger King via the drive-thru. Shortly afterward, he developed severe food poisoning. For 24 hours, he vomited, couldn't eat or drink anything, was bedridden, and felt extremely ill. Only later did he realize what he had overheard at the drive-thru. One employee said to another, something like, "Then it's your fault if he can't sleep all night." This suggests that the employees knew something was wrong with the food and served it anyway. This statement casts a massive shadow over the responsibility and awareness of the staff. We strongly suspect it was the plant-based nuggets. I normally eat them myself, but I didn't eat them for once, and I was pregnant at the time. What would have happened if I had eaten the poisoned nuggets? Food poisoning during pregnancy can have serious consequences, in the worst case scenario, even a miscarriage. Not only could my husband have been hurt, but it could have cost a human life, all because spoiled food was obviously knowingly served. This irresponsibility is inexcusable. We will never visit Burger King again. And quite honestly, we've avoided any kind of nuggets ever since, out of fear. It's clear to us that what happened there wasn't an accident. It was deliberate negligence. And that's unacceptable.

Every time I order, something goes wrong, which is incredibly annoying. Either there are tomatoes left on the burger, ingredients are missing, or I get the wrong burger. This can't be true. And the fries are always hard.

When I was there, the place was pretty empty, and I didn't have to wait long for my food. The ordering machines are quite user-friendly, and you can pay by card, PayPal, or cash. The food tasted good, and there's a wide selection, including vegan options. The salad on the burger was fresh. All in all, I really enjoyed it and would happily come back.

Two people ordered before me. The person in front of me waited a total of 30 minutes for their food, even though only one person had been in line before them. We also had to wait 20 minutes. The staff was so overwhelmed with three orders that neither one was taken care of, while the burgers were all cooked and slowly losing temperature. I've NEVER experienced anything like this. Nowhere in the world.

Dirty, sticky, food ice cold, burger half bitten, all I wanted was a tasty cheeseburger, unfriendly and slow staff who don't feel like working, if I could go I would give it 0 stars, avoid it at all costs!!!!

Normal Burger King, nothing special, you get what you expect

Eight burgers (four Crispy Chicken and four Long Chicken) cost more than €50, and I didn't even get the Long Nugget Burger because I didn't have the app. Ridiculous. Never again.

The staff was visibly overwhelmed despite the small number of customers. The food was very dry (nuggets) and overseasoned (burgers). I'd rather go to the restaurant "Zur goldenen Möwe" (Golden Seagull).

Some of them are quite unfriendly if you want to pay in cash; you usually end up standing there for half an hour, even though they can see you and aren't working at all. Burgers are often cold, so it's not recommended.

We waited almost 1.5 hours for our food. That's not fun in the evening, especially with children. Other guests wanted their money back and to leave, but this was refused... What a shame!

Burger King is disgusting. Apparently, the milkshake machine wasn't cleaned overnight. This morning, June 5th, only snot came out of it, and then three employees were completely overwhelmed with the machine, one of whom was wearing street clothes in the kitchen. When they finally managed to get something done, I had the most disgusting milkshake. The hot chocolate drink for €2.99 was just as disgusting a water powder mix. And €4.89 for the milkshake is really excessive. And finally, people in the kitchen started gossiping about me, asking what I was doing in the kitchen, and they felt harassed. There are flies flying around everywhere in the store. Addendum: I'm now having stomach cramps, probably because of the milkshake.

This was my second time there. This time it really didn't work at all. Very long waiting time, beef burnt-black, tortilla doesn't taste good at all. The tables stick and are not wiped clean. The return stations were also completely overcrowded. Also, the men's room was pretty disgusting - dirty and smelly - just disgusting. Even in the entrance area you could smell the smell of the toilets.

Burger King, there is no fast food alternative for vegetarians

There wasn't much going on, but I did get quite sticky and apparently slightly older fries. That's a shame. But I didn't want to exchange it because it was somehow uncomfortable

Once again, two burgers were missing from a drive-thru order. So check immediately. But it would be even better to take more care when packing the order. Today we received a completely wrong order at the drive-thru (probably from another customer). You really have it.

If you google incompetence, the Burger King in Schwerin comes up! I was the only customer at the time of my order and ordered a large chicken burger WITHOUT onions. 4 (!) employees started loudly discussing the nature of the burger. The team leader kept saying “WITHOUT ONIONS!” called in. This went on for a while, then I got my takeaway order. At home I noticed that the burger had onions. Even lots of them. Thanks for nothing. I would fire everyone if I could. It's time for Wallraff to send in his investigative team again... Better go to McDonalds or cook something delicious yourself.

I can't give a recommendation here. I used to like going to Burger King, but this one doesn't work at all. I ate there 3 times and then had to go to the doctor 3 times because my stomach was crazy. I don't have the same problem at other Burger King's, so something must be wrong.

Very rudely brushed off again and again. If you don't know how to use the terminal, you're out of luck there. Apparently too much stress. We left the restaurant for the competitor. We'll never go there again.

The vegan food tastes bland. We had nuggets. The menu navigation on the ordering machines is confusing and outdated. Vegan products are poorly labeled or not labeled at all. Vegan labels are only on the products themselves and then on the products themselves. It felt like everyone took forever to place their orders. The children's play area was small and unloved. No outdoor area. Only two chairs in the customer walkway. The restrooms smelled, even in the entrance area. Everything seemed unloved.

Some employees should stay in the background; a smile would definitely be more inviting. The food came quickly and was complete, but one burger was already very cold at the table. This was exchanged without any hesitation by one of the nicer employees. Attention was paid to cleanliness, but only in the dining area, so this could also be continued in the sanitary area.

I ordered a hamburger. Meat old hard and inedible

The two of us spontaneously came here on a Sunday evening. It was pretty quiet, the ordering terminals were free. Ordered in a relaxed manner and found a free and clean table without any problems. Waited a moment and our order was ready. Eaten in peace and relaxation. It may be that things look different at certain times on certain days. But everything was perfect during our visit, hence five stars.

I don't think it's nice there anymore, the courage workers I observed work unhygienically. Sometimes something is missing from what was ordered and can be copied without any problems.

So out of 4 people who ordered before me, 3 came back because something was missing. So I checked to see if I was missing something, that wasn't the case, but instead of a chicken and beef tortilla I got 2 pieces of beef, how can you fuck it up so hard...

It is and remains a Burger King. Nevertheless, the service is very friendly and the preparation is really quick, even at lunchtime. Only the toilet wasn't that nice to look at, hence the 4 stars.

So, the ice cream at Burger King... Guys, I really thought I'd treat myself. What did I get? A frozen tragedy. In terms of taste, somewhere between “old shoe sole” and “oh, let it go”. The best part? The spoon! But even that was too small, probably to make me give up quicker. 😅 Honestly, at McDonald's the ice cream not only tastes better, you also get a spoon that can handle the stuff. Burger King, you really need to step up your game – or at least make the spoon bigger!

Falsche Auskünfte über Sprechanlage - Mitarbeiter verstehen kaum Deutsch und sprechen ungenügend!!!! Wahnsinnig schlechte Erfahrung!!!! Nie wieder besuchen wir diesen grottig schlechten Laden!!!

Luckily the burgers taste good, otherwise I would go somewhere else. Where it is friendlier, more coordinated, cleaner and simply more beautiful. The cashiering staff is unfriendly and gives the impression that they don't feel like dealing with customers at all. Snapped just because you didn't register the card payment straight away. Some employees look as if they and their clothes could use a wash, a shave would sometimes help. Is this still a fast food restaurant? Nope, not at all. 20-25 minutes waiting time. Accordingly, the food is no longer as warm. It used to be significantly better.

Very good food most the time (often hits but can occasionally miss) and lines usually are not that long at the times I usually go there. But very bad internet, women's stall has broken locks and flies are flying around everywhere which can be annoying.

The staff are simply unfriendly, something like that just doesn't work. Especially today's older lady is a mess. The food wasn't really hot.

We had to wait 25 minutes for two burgers to be prepared. That's clearly too long for a fast food restaurant. Because you order in advance, you can then watch the hustle and bustle at the counter. Unfortunately, I discovered that the work processes were completely unstructured and uncoordinated. One colleague didn't know what the other colleague had already done. The trays were swapped back and forth. A really terrible impression that had to be made. Overall pretty confusing. In addition, the dish trolleys were completely overfilled with dirty dishes or were full to bursting. The visit was a complete disappointment.

Payback points are not available at the checkout, only through prior app activation. Unfortunately only 3 stars because we had to ask the staff to wipe a table for us so we could sit down and then saw that all the tables were being cleaned of food residue with a cloth.
