The store has finally closed. I hope that with the new franchisee and renovation, Burger King will finally be enjoyable in Schweizerkirchen.

The food is terrible. The last time I visited (a while ago), it tasted strange and was often only lukewarm. I stopped going after that. No wonder the store's license was revoked and it had to close. EDIT: The store continues to sell, still uses the Burger King logo, but it's no longer a Burger King! Be careful, you'll get something, but not Burger King franchise goods!

Burger King without a franchise license! The food itself is okay, but the way they trick you into thinking you're eating at Burger King, even though this store lost its franchise license (not without reason) after Team Wallraf's investigation, is almost beyond brazen. Even when asked at the checkout, the cashiers lie about it being a Burger King or give evasive answers like "they offer the same products as Burger King." Go there, experience it for yourself: the food is okay, but otherwise, it's a huge scam!

Warning! Fake Burger King! After a long drive home, we stopped at this Burger King. The first impression should have been obvious: the illuminated sign wasn't lit, the parking lot was neglected and dirty. Not a soul in this Burger King except for two grumpy employees. No original packaging, no original ingredients. They don't have half the products, and you can't pay with a card. Their license was revoked long ago!!! Where is the rule of law here? Clearly fraudulent!!!!!!

The burgers don't taste like a typical Burger King and are wrapped in white paper. The food and atmosphere have nothing to do with a typical Burger King. Card payments weren't accepted, and there weren't many burgers on offer.

Why on earth does the train stop at 7:30 p.m. today (Google had a different opinion)? The crew is sitting outside the door and only bothered to explain, when asked, that it was already over... and this was on the Ottobahn. I'm not used to civil wars.

Unfortunately, nothing to recommend at all: we were on our way to Upper Bavaria and wanted to get a large milkshake each from this Burger King. We used the drive-thru counter and were surprised that the order took so long, as there was obviously nothing to do at the counter. When we finally got our milkshakes and drove off, we realized that although the drink was cold, it was by no means a milkshake, as the characteristic ice crystals were completely missing. In other words, we simply had a cold, disgustingly sweet something in our mouths for which we paid a total of €11, and which was absolutely inedible! As mentioned, we were on our way to Southern Germany, so we were back on the highway by this point and therefore didn't turn around on our own. Unfortunately, it showed us once again that Burger King has a problem with consistently ensuring quality and that the whole thing is extremely location-specific. In any case, we are now cured for a long, long time!!!

Just don't go there. They don't accept vouchers as there is no contract with Burger King, so it's a fake. The food and hygiene are bad. The atmosphere is run down. It's incredibly expensive and a disgrace that nothing is being done about it!

Very old-fashioned Burger King, the menu selection is still the same as it was a few years ago – the current specials and burgers aren't available there. The menu boards are faded, not all of them are recognizable, and the staff are sometimes irritated and unfriendly. You had to pay extra to use the restroom. The restaurant didn't look clean, and the "trash cans for tablets" were overflowing. We didn't order anything; we lost our appetite.

No apps or coupons are accepted. The fries are prepared without salt. You get the salt packets separately from the fries. The sauces on the burgers are on one side. The salad isn't fresh. There's virtually no selection. Most of the items are (soon to be available again), but I think they're not even available. The long chicken is chopped into a wopper bun. Rip-off in the restroom. Costs extra. Nothing to do with Burger King. Better keep driving.

Half of what we wanted to order wasn't available. We paid over €16 for three ice creams. The King Fusion Oreo® was just an ice cream with a few Oreo crumbs on top. I can't recommend it.

Even one star is still too many. But let's start from the beginning. So when we went in, there was NO ONE there. I mean, absolutely no one. After two minutes, a woman greeted us. She said we don't accept coupons and we don't have much choice otherwise. That should have been warning enough. Well, when we finally found something they had, it was time to prepare it. Also by the same woman. She was there ALONE. Shortly after she started preparing our food, a delivery person (who was our delivery driver) entered the store and fiddled with the nuggets. The two apparently knew each other. When we finally got our food, we were very surprised. There were no standard Burger King packaging. The sauces and the burger buns were also somehow different. The veggie nuggets also looked completely different. While we were eating our food alone, the two of them lit a cigarette and lay down outside in the drive-thru lane (which was closed) and sunbathed. I don't know how you can or should still call yourself Burger King. It has nothing to do with the actual chain anymore.

The place looks very old and run-down, and they only serve a few burgers. When we tried to order, these burgers were strangely more expensive than they usually are at BK… Looking at the other reviews, it makes sense, since this isn't a licensed BK! So please be careful, this is probably a scam!

Rip-off! They'll try to do it wherever they can lower the price. They'll ask you straight away whether you'd like two or three patties, instead of the usual one. If you don't expect that, you'll obviously say you want the fewer patties and then pay for the second patty. Incredibly unfriendly service. No coupons accepted. Simply extremely poor service. If it says Burger King, I expect at least a certain standard, even if it may not be high.

Charging the customer 1 euro to use the toilet, of which 50 cents can be given back as a voucher, is absolutely abysmal!

Caution: Still probably NOT an official Burger King!!! I can't say anything about the food this time. The whole place has such a disturbing impression that I stopped while ordering. The restroom is also 1 euro for guests (unacceptable!!) I just wanted to order a (small!) fries and a Coke. Apparently, "small" fries are only available for children, and the price for both together should be 8.68 euros. -> Haha, that's exactly what I expected from my test today. It's a good thing the ultra-modern McDonald's, KFC, or Subway are next door... After a brief negotiation and a bit of tapping around at the cash register, as I was about to leave, I was supposedly able to get the "small fries" for just under 7 euros. That seems anything but reputable. Not to mention the unhygienic-looking, unwrapped straws at the checkout and the limited selection in many respects due to the sold-out menu! I then took a look at the restroom. Okay, but not exactly amazing. For the money, the soap dispenser should work perfectly. Overall: Not a recommendation, absolutely not!

So, many of the bad reviews here are pretty much the last straw. Yes, it's not a real Burger King, and yes, that means you can't use the app's coupons. Anyone who can read and checks where they're eating beforehand will figure this all out pretty quickly. Most people don't seem to be able to do that and are too picky on top of that. The food was ready very quickly, super tasty, and even better than at a real Burger King. I also don't understand why there are people who seriously criticize the service... They're just doing their jobs and trying to do it well. I can imagine that it's not easy for all the employees to work in what's often called a "fake branch." I understand the criticism that the restroom costs money... But it's also a restaurant, not a restroom. I wish the shop all the best for the future; I think the team is doing a great job. 😊 Many of the reviews here come from impatient, annoyed, and stressed drivers/travellers.

Old style, toilet only accepts euros, no terminals, only wanted a Whopper and Coke and paid €12.28, no information that the meal including fries would have cost €10.99. Bad!

Unfortunately, we followed the "BK" logo and discovered that it wasn't comparable to the original. The burgers were bland, and the ambiance, if you can even call it that, was extremely questionable. The euro for the broken women's restroom is also outrageous. However, I'm happy to give it one star because the onion rings tasted good.

Even as a customer, you have to pay €1 to use the restroom. The voucher, worth 50 cents, can be redeemed directly when ordering. The restroom isn't clean, there are empty toilet paper rolls everywhere, and empty towels, even though the store hardly had any customers. Burger King coupons in the app aren't accepted.

The bill says Burger King, but the drink cups, for example, don't. Never again. Broken restrooms. Poor hygiene.

Unfortunately, a disastrous experience. Four of us each ordered a meal. Coupons didn't work. Both the terms and conditions were very unfriendly. After ordering, we discovered that you had to pay 1 euro per person to use the restroom, and then you'd get 50 cents off your next order. When we pointed this out, we were simply told that we were out of luck. Incidentally, in my opinion, free use of the restrooms for guests dining in is mandatory in Germany. The food tasted as it should, but was prepared with the same level of commitment as we had already shown when ordering. It looked accordingly. One person then went to the restroom and wanted to exchange the coupon for one can of ketchup. (Because she didn't receive any from the staff with the meal.) She didn't get the ketchup because she would have had to buy something instead. I then asked how this could be possible. I was simply referred to someone who could make more decisions in the store. Of course, this person wasn't there at the time. Overall, this stopover was a complete disaster.

The worst Burger King I've ever been to. Coupons are apparently not accepted because they don't participate. The chili cheeseburger has raw meat. The employee whispers to his colleague in their own language, looks you in the face and laughs while doing so. They charge for an extra Coke and burger, and after checking the bill while eating, she suddenly comes up to us and says that they've made a mistake and acts as if they've just noticed.

The famous fake Burger King! I'd heard of it before, and after a terrible experience, I thought about it and googled it. I hope I don't get food poisoning tomorrow. The waitress obviously didn't want to be there and just looked at you unfriendly after you'd ordered, as if you had to memorize every menu item and the correct order. Uncrushed fake oversized Smarties in the soft serve, and the biggest outrage: you order €25 and have to wash your hands again. When we asked about it, the entire staff was standing outside smoking 🤣🤣🤣

Absolutely terrible. The toilet was €1, then the women's restroom was closed, and the baby changing room/disabled restroom was in a dilapidated state. GN containers from the kitchen were being used as paper towel holders. When they then charged over €4 for a 0.25l cold drink, it was over. Now I'm not surprised why we were the only customers at a fast-food restaurant next to the highway, and at lunchtime, no less. Never again!

I'd happily give it zero stars! We couldn't redeem coupons because it's a "private" Burger King. Plus, we paid almost €50 for five burgers. Burger King quality isn't as good as in a restaurant anyway... But the burgers we were served there were truly disgusting. They tasted so sour and spoiled from the first bite, so I didn't dare eat any more. Not worth the money. Simply outrageous!

It's not really a BK; the burgers are made with unusual sauces. For example, a chicken burger has Hella spiced ketchup on it. The packaging isn't printed with BK logos either. It's kind of weird. Nothing special in terms of taste! It's sufficient for a drunken after-party. ;)

This was by far the worst Burger King visit ever. Firstly, they didn't accept vouchers, and there wasn't a proper menu to order from. Then we ordered plant-based nuggets, which were definitely not plant-based. They did ask if they had been swapped, but the answer was "if it says so on the bag." The shape of the chili cheese nuggets was also different than usual. In conclusion, 4 out of 4 people rated it bad. The sign at the exit also fits in with that... A look at previous reviews only confirmed this. Absolutely horrible, everything.

If Burger King now feels the need to charge €1 for the restroom and only charges €0.50, they should consider whether they're a service provider or something else. €28 for two burgers and fries is like an airport price.

The worst Burger King I've ever been to. No vouchers accepted, no milkshakes, the advertised ice cream toppings were out of stock, the seating was completely worn out, card payments only accepted for €5, the ice cream topping isn't mixed in by a machine, but is simply smothered on top by the employees, and the women's restroom is broken. It was certainly... an experience. If you love slimy ice cream, soggy fries with a subtle dishwater flavor, and burgers with yesterday's charm, then this is the place for you. The ice cream had a consistency somewhere between pudding and "what's that?" The burger was as fresh as my New Year's resolutions in June, and the fries? It looks like Burger King ordered from Wish. The King Fusion costs 4.99. The ice cream tastes nothing like regular BK ice cream, but it's OK. In general, the prices and other items are far from the usual, good BK standard.

No coupons and no King of the Month?! I already knew something was fishy. And when you see the employees in their holey shirts and stoned-red eyes, you know for sure that at most, money is being laundered or drugs are being sold here.

I've never been to such a strange Burger King. With temperatures over 30 degrees Celsius outside, the temperature inside wasn't much different. We decided to take the food with us. However, we couldn't take many things because they weren't available. Jackpot: they packed my daughter a burger instead of chicken nuggets. We didn't realize this until we were on our way back. But at least the air conditioning in the car was pleasant.
