Mitten am Tag kein Service bei „Pause“

Essen hatte die standzeit erheblich überschritten. Der warme käsedip war erstens ein tomatendip zweitens kalt und drittens komplett eingetrocknet. Die tenders dazu dunkel, lauwarm und trocken. Umtausch des dips ging wortlos und reibungslos. Da der richtige dip kam gehe ich davon aus das die unfreundliche dame genau wusste was sie rausgibt. Das nächste mal lieber eine raststätte weiterfahren

12:35 Uhr geschlossen, was, warum?

Die Essensausgabe wurde 30 Minuten vor der offiziellen Schließzeit verweigert.

Offiziell bis 20 Uhr geöffnet und um kurz nach 19 Uhr kann man nichts mehr nachbestellen. Die Kinder wollten gerne noch ein Eis Sehr schade.

Das unhöfliche Personal schien dort zur Strafe arbeiten zu müssen. Als ich Essen zum Mitnehmen bestellte, wurden die Pommes verkehrt herum in die Tüte geworfen, sodass alles herausfiel. Der Burger enthielt rohes Fleisch, und als ich nachsah, fehlte das Eis im Getränk. Ich war schon in besseren Restaurants.

Schlechtester Burgerking ever! Leider haben die zwei Mitarbeiter in einem Schneckentempo gearbeitet und für zwei kleine Burger mussten wir über 20 Minuten warten. Kundenservice ist auch keiner vorhanden, da ein Kunde auf Englisch gefragt hatte, wieso man nicht am Terminal bestellen kann und ihm wiederholt nur auf deutsch geantwortet wurde. Also nie mehr hier…

Am 12.06.26 um 19:20 Uhr war es bereits geschlossen. Was soll dieses Café, wenn man abends nichts essen kann? Wohin schaut die Geschäftsleitung?

Schöner, neuer Burger King, direkt auf unserer Route

Allgemein ganz nett zum Essen nach einem Ausflug. Allerdings war das Personal recht unfreundlich, packte uns einen chicken nugget Burger in das Kinder Menü anstelle eines Ketchup Nugget Burgers. Auf Ansprache darauf wurden wir sehr unfreundlich darauf hingewiesen, dass beides das gleiche sei nur anstelle von chili sauce eben mit Ketchup. Ich sagte, dass auf einem ketchup nugget burger in der kindertüte nie Salat drauf ist, ganz abgesehen davon, war kein Ketchup auf dem Burger. Wir haben trotzdem keinen ketchup nugget burger erhalten und ich musste den Salat für meinen Sohn runter kratzen, woraufhin kaum noch Mayo auf dem Burger war.

Ich hatte eine sehr schlechte Erfahrung im Abholbereich. Die Mitarbeiterin sprach durchgehend Deutsch, und ich konnte sie nicht verstehen. Ich antwortete auf Englisch, aber sie reichte mir meine Bestellung sehr unhöflich und wandte sich während des Gesprächs immer wieder von mir ab. Ich fühlte mich unwohl und verwirrt und fragte mich ständig, ob ich etwas falsch gemacht hatte. Ich bin von dieser Atmosphäre sehr enttäuscht.

Erstmal hat unser Essen ewig gedauert und dann dieser Käsedip!!… Eiskalt und hat einfach massiv scheiße und künstlich geschmeckt und dafür 2,99€, nein Danke!!

Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr unfreundlich und haben geleugnet dass es Menüs gab und so musste ich einen erheblichen Aufschlag zahlen ebenfalls durfte ich keine Coupons verwenden.Bitte Meidet diesen Laden kann ich ihnen nur vom Herzen raten.

Die Mitarbeit waren sehr unfreundlich und haben mich abgezogen . Außer unfreundlich indische Kommentare kam leider nichts Die haben den Automat kurz bevor ich fertig mit bestellen war einfach offline genommen . Ich meide diesen Laden in Zukunft ist einfach nur dreckig . Man durfte keine Coppuns verwenden und das Menü wurde mir verweigert

Die ältere Dame die hier beim Burgerking arbeitet ist sehr freundlich. Ich finde da könnten sich so einige Servicekräfte eine Scheibe abschneiden. Sonst is es ein typischer Burger King und das Ambiente, eben Autobahnrastplatz. Das Essen war heiß und wurde frisch zubereitet.

Um 20 Uhr macht der Laden zu - auf einer Raststätte - in der Woche. Lachhaft. Wo sind die 0 Sterne?

Jemand Verantwortlicher muss sofort kommen. Ich warte seit 40 Minuten auf einen Burger und ein Getränk.

Einfach Burgerking! Super nette Servicekraft, hab nämlich einen Burger extra. Essen wir immer. BK halt. War schnell fertig und trotzdem warm!

Es ist 19:55 Uhr und es ist geschlossen... Man kann nicht einmal Essen zum Mitnehmen bestellen...

Ich war heute um 20:40 Uhr dort, aber das Restaurant war geschlossen, obwohl es eigentlich bis 22:00 Uhr geöffnet sein sollte! Nirgendwo stand ein Hinweis darauf, dass es geschlossen ist oder warum!

Der heruntergekommenste Ort überhaupt! Am Freitagabend wurden die Ein- und Ausgänge bereits vor 20 Uhr verschlossen. Nur abreisende Gäste durften das Restaurant unter Aufsicht verlassen. Auf einem Autobahnparkplatz ist das im Jahr 2026 inakzeptabel!

Vonwegen bis 22Uhr geöffnet. Un 19 Uhr hatten sie bereits keine Lust mehr.

Öffnungszeiten von Google und der Burger King App werden nicht eingehalten. Service sehr schlecht, Terminals funktionieren nicht richtig, Deutsch spricht man hier auch nicht wirklich. Die Temperatur im Restaurant ist zu kalt, die Essenszubereitung dauert zu lange. Wenigstens war direkt bei Öffnung alles sauber. Mitarbeiter waren soweit freundlich. Insgesamt jedoch nicht zu empfehlen.

Ich kam um 20 Uhr an und es war geschlossen.

Das Ambiente war hervorragend und das Essen frisch. Die Angestellten waren überaus zuvorkommend und kümmerten sich sogar um unseren Hund und stellten ihm Wasser bereit.

Burger sind kalt, Long Chicken war salzig, Pommes nur lauwarm und die Chillie Chees fries waren süßlich.

Absolut top! Ich bin regelmäßig bei Burger King und werde hier jedes Mal aufs Neue überzeugt. Das Essen ist frisch, heiß und genau so, wie man es erwartet – saftige Burger, knusprige Pommes und eine große Auswahl. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das freundliche und engagierte Personal: Trotz hohem Andrang bleibt das Team immer höflich, schnell und gut organisiert. Man fühlt sich als Kunde wirklich willkommen. Die Filiale ist sauber und ordentlich, was heutzutage leider nicht selbstverständlich ist. Für mich einer der besten Burger King Standorte – ich komme immer wieder gern vorbei!

Der letzte Laden alle Terminals aus die Bedienung schaut mich an und geht rauchen das war das letzte Mal das ich da war

I'm sorry, but the fact that you can't get any more nuggets because everything was cleaned half an hour before closing time doesn't sound like good service to me.

Absolutely terrible! I had to wait just 5 minutes while the workers smoked. And the sauces were incredibly sour. I hope I don't get a stomachache, and if I do, I'll know exactly why. Not recommended!

Opening hours, whenever it suits us.

The temperature was below 10 degrees Celsius. Five minutes after ordering, someone went behind the counter, probably smoking. The cheese sauce I ordered for €2.50 wasn't available, and they didn't want to offer a cancellation without throwing away the entire order that was already ready. I've rarely seen such a shabby Burger King with such a bad-tempered staff. Better close this place down, it's bottomless!

Sunday 8:41 PM despite being open according to Google. If you don't have any staff or anything, at least keep your opening hours up to date!

Worst BK quality and the unfriendliest staff ever. The bread was flat and cold, the bacon was cold, the cheddar didn't even melt in the bun. The fries were tasteless, cold, and greasier than usual. Such a shame, as I'm usually a BK fan.

Probably the worst Burger King in the world, between the rude staff and the restrictive features. They might as well close it down rather than open it for what they do. It's really crap. 💩 I also found a wrapper in my burger..

The person reacted very rudely to a complaint. The fries and onion rings were soggy, as if they'd been sitting for a while. The tables could use a good wipe down. I'm used to something different at Burger King.

Terrible service. Completely unprofessional. They told us at 11:50 that they would open at 12:00. Twenty minutes later, the kitchen still wasn't open, and the very rude lady said, "It'll take a while. I can't tell you whether we'll have food in 30 minutes or not." Thank you for the senseless waste of time.

10:33 AM, Burger King is closed ☹️

We wanted to pay the self-service order at 1:40 PM on July 22, 2025, in cash at the cash register with the employee (which you have to do first, otherwise the order won't even be prepared). It really wasn't busy, and she calmly prepared all the other orders while we stood in front of the lady for 15 minutes with our money and our hands. She greeted us for the first few minutes with the extremely unfriendly words "wait" and "move aside," only to then treat us like air for another quarter of an hour. This look, this demeanor, and this lady's entire customer service is the downfall and a disgrace for any restaurant business. I haven't encountered such unfriendliness and professional incompetence in a long time. After being completely ignored, we left and will definitely never come back :) P.S. After reading the other experiences with this lady: @burgerking, you're losing a lot because of this employee. You can't let this happen to customers!!!

The service is definitely different. They don't even serve meals in the middle of the day, nor do they offer burger fries at exorbitant prices that don't comply with Burger King guidelines; instead, they submit imaginary prices. This place should be monitored by the tax office and the Burger King chain, no words to describe.

A failure of the terminals would be half as bad if the staff were able to speak and take orders verbally.

I absolutely don't understand all the bad reviews! We have nothing to complain about. The interior was clean, the food came quickly and was delicious, and the waitress behind the counter was very gracious and humorous.

Extremely unfriendly! You don't get your deposit back right away, but are told "later." Repeated requests for a refund are met with a rude response!

So nothing has changed. Sunday, 11:40, I come to get something to eat and they're not working because they don't feel like it. And the reason I stopped at this rest stop was BurgerKing. Why doesn't the team that controls the franchise close the place down because these idlers and scoundrels are doing them more harm than good.

Worst Burger King I've ever been to, the food was inedible

According to the website, they're open until 10 p.m. At 7:51 p.m., an unfriendly employee told me they were already closed.

Nobody there. Cash registers and self-service machines are closed, even though it is within opening hours

Poor hygiene, unprofessional, unpleasant! I tried very politely and constructively to point out a lack of hygiene in my order, was laughed at by three unkempt ladies who were smiling, rolling their eyes, and I decided to cancel my order due to the unprofessional behavior. When I left the restaurant I was asked not to come back. That goes without saying, of course, and that's what I would generally advise everyone: stay away from Peppenhoven.

When ordering, the saleswoman was extremely unfriendly and impatient. Four components of my order were also forgotten. When I politely pointed this out, I was met with annoyance and a rude tone - appropriate communication is definitely different. In addition, all ordering machines were out of order and you could only pay in cash at the checkout. This is absolutely impractical and out of date, especially at a rest stop where there are a lot of travelers. When I then tried to redeem my crowns (loyalty points), it suddenly said that this was not possible. Here too, the saleswoman's reaction was very irritable, uncomprehending and unhelpful. Another annoyance: €1 per person was charged to use the toilet. If you place an order with you that isn't exactly cheap, going to the toilet should of course be free of charge. This simply seems customer-unfriendly and not very service-oriented. Overall, my visit to Burger King was very disappointing - both in terms of the atmosphere and the customer service.

So we can completely support the previous recessions. Old food, unfriendly staff and cleanliness are also a foreign word here. There was an argument with us that we had already received certain things even though we still had the tray in our hands. 21:00 already closed, change the opening hours so people don't stop unnecessarily

We tried to eat here three times, but it was impossible. We got here at 9:10 p.m. to have something to eat, as it says that it closes at 10:00 p.m., so we could have easily ordered, but we couldn't. The problem is not with the fact that instead of 22:00 it closes at 21:00 and it is not written anywhere, but with the way they yell and rudely send you away!! Unfortunately, we won't have a good meal here either because of the nice server!!

It says on the door that the Burger King is open until 10 p.m. After a random stop at the gas station we decided to eat a burger, then at 7:45 p.m. the super friendly service told me that the Burger King was closed after I asked "why?" I was insulted as stupid and yelled at that she, quote, “didn’t feel like it.” Then we left the store at a loss and didn't understand what we had done wrong - there was an older little lady with glasses and gray hair. An absolute disgrace

Another disappointment, I cannot understand how management can accept something like this. The "lighting" gives me epileptic fits the way it flickers. It hasn't just been like this since yesterday. I was there for the first time in January and thought it would have been fixed by now, but it hadn't. The same thing happened with the intercom, it feels like it's from the 80s, you can hardly understand anything. Last but not least, three items on the menu were not available. And the fries we ordered didn't make it into the bag, so it was disappointing until we got home 😂. The next visit will probably be at the MCS right next door.

At BurgerKing you have to order at the terminal if you hand in your sanifair vouchers at the checkout and want to pay with a card. This isn't only possible at the terminal but you can't hand in vouchers there So not recommended, absolutely bad never again

So, the Burger King in the Peppenhoven West service area is absolutely amazing! As soon as I walked in I was greeted so warmly that I almost asked if they wanted to adopt me. The staff there is just amazing – super friendly, always in a good mood and faster than a cheetah on caffeine! My burger was so perfect that I briefly considered photographing it and selling it as a work of art. And the fries? Golden yellow and crispy – probably fried by unicorns themselves. Simply a brilliant stopover! Hats off to the team, you are the true kings (and queens) at Burger King! I'll be back - and not just for the nuggets!

12:30 closed the ladies say it will open at 14:00 some idiots are laughing at customers

On Google it says open until 10 p.m., I was there at 2 p.m. and the store was closed.

The shop is ridiculous... 6 p.m. on Friday and already closed... and not for the first time... it used to be good here...

The three times I stopped there in a month and it was closed due to lack of personnel. If it's not a working restaurant, remove the "Burger King" signs from the highway. It is a waste of time for everyone expecting to eat something.

Despite the bad reviews, I thought I would give it a try myself. Supposedly open from 10am, I arrived at 11:30am. Behind the counter there was a young lady who I said good morning to. All she replied was in English: "Open 12 o'clock." It's bad enough that you have to speak English at all to a waitress, but seriously; After a day I could say “Open from 12 p.m.” in every language in the world. I would at least appreciate her attempt.

The stale fries were simply fried and served when the man asked them about it and the staff immediately made a face. I then got new fries that were just as nice as the previous one!

Exceptional service staff (balbir singh) who helped our kids and was willing to help with orders as well as any thing that kids ask for. He is a real gentleman. Would visit this burger king branch again just to meet him.

A sentence with X... We had to wait in line for a relatively long time only to be told in a mushy tone that no vegetarian dishes were currently being served. That could have been said a little nicer^^ (or maybe even posted a notice in advance). Unfortunately it was also icy cold in the entire area.

It couldn't be worse. Hygiene is not implemented here. The employees don't care about customers...the ordering machines don't work and the food is even worse than usual. It's better to drive one or two rest stops further. One star is still too many here.

Supposedly open but I looked here several times and again it's not open as the time says. In addition, the hygiene is beyond good and bad, even when it is closed you can see leftovers lying in the kitchen!!! It's a shame because I actually like eating at Burger King...
