Ice cream 🍨 Machine is strangely always broken (Burger King is only a few months old)

When I first saw the reviews of the Burger King branch, I was shocked at how bad other customers' impressions were. Personally, I thought the ambience was very pleasant and eye-catching compared to other Burger King branches. The employee who served me was actually very friendly and accommodating. I seem to remember her name was Alena. A really nice and courteous young lady. However, only four stars because some of the fries were already cold. Kind regards Frank Hofmann

Everything is just right here, it is super clean, the food tastes good and is freshly prepared. Very friendly staff who make you feel as if you are eating in the living room at home. Thank you very much and best regards Bjorn

EDIT: January 2025 Unfortunately nothing has changed at this location. (Pictures belong to January 2025) This time we chose take away menu. Among other things, King Rib as a large menu for €4 more. There were four pieces of cold waffle fries. (See picture) Unbelievable! The real hit, however, was the king rib. Modeled on McDonald's and actually really tasty, this is an absolute joke. How carelessly can you prepare a burger? The BBQ sauce is supposed to be outstanding here, but where did it go? Bottle empty, savings measure? You don't know. Also onions, three measly rings, that's it. In any case, this location is not recommended for dine-in or take-away. Too bad! Unfortunately, very long waiting times are standard here, even when there are few visitors. By the definition of fast food I understand something different. What's worse is that there's actually something wrong with every order. Wrong burger, no sauce, or the quantity isn't right. If the whole thing was also ordered to-go, that's even more annoying. Employees seem to be trying hard, but they don't have the processes under control.

Neat, clean Burger King. Friendly service. When it is quiet it may take a little longer, because the burgers are freshly made. I don't understand why this gets such a bad rating. Coupons can be used via the German website. And better than that dirty McD or KFC where they always forget part of your order. Update 2025: Still very positive about this BK. Very clean and tidy place. Burgers are made fresh immediately.

I was there twice the first time I had to wait 1 hour for chicken kings 6 pieces and a chicken tortilla there was nothing going on staff the first time super unfriendly I drove again 2nd time My child and I wanted the same thing there was no electricity or the machine was broken everything was lit? strange well end of the song child disappointed, I'm disappointed I won't see them again!

Received the wrong order, but we were allowed to keep it. 4 customers after us it also went wrong. A total of 9 orders were open. Music a bit too loud, otherwise a burger king as we know it.

Apparently open until 2:00. Shortly after 0:00 the shop is closed 🤷‍♂️

Service very slow, overwhelmed despite the empty shop. Waited 30 minutes for 2 chili cheeseburgers. These were also different than usual. The toilet is inaccessible, the rest area is a luxury in comparison.

The food was okay, but it took quite a long time for a fast restaurant and the service was completely overwhelmed in an empty shop. After I had eaten my food, I wanted to defecate in the toilet, but then discovered that both the men's and women's toilets were heavily smeared with feces.

Toilets are closed, card payment in the drive-in doesn't work and basically it doesn't matter what day or time you come, you always have to wait half an hour for two damn burgers... it really makes the place the same with staff like that Close 🤦🏼‍♂️ Since it opened, the store just can't get it!

Third and final visit to this branch. 1st visit: Waited forever for my order 2nd visit: Almost everything was sold out. There wasn't even a simple whooper. 3rd visit: Waited again for a long time even though there wasn't much going on, then ALL the toilets were out of order, you couldn't even wash your hands???!!! The displays with the disinfectant: EMPTY!! Is a branch even allowed to be open if all the drains are supposedly broken? Where do the employees go to the toilet? How do you want to wash your hands?

We had to wait 28 minutes to order two menus to eat there... I then asked them to pack it up straight away because we had to move on. For the long waiting time, there was a small apology in the form of soft ice cream (which I found very nice)... on the whole, it just takes too long & the cleanliness of the tables/floor is not very sparkling either.

Even though there wasn't much going on in the finale, we had to wait half an hour for food. Everyone who came after us was served faster. My burger was still cold and the fries weren't tasty either, just luke warm. The floor was dirty under our table, there was water or whatever it was. The tables weren't cleaned. We always liked being here but now we'll only go to McDonald's. What annoyed me was the employees with a mood that was okay Not at all towards the customers, the order machines only worked for orders from outside. But luckily you could eat it in the branch.

It takes a long time to finish even though there's hardly anything going on. When we paid at the bar, the employee didn't say anything and waved the pieces of paper around.

Better Burger King with a 30 minute wait than trash from McDonalds in Gronau. I had to wait a maximum of 15 minutes at Burger King, but at least it tastes better. Over time the store will become more structured and things will work more quickly.

Very fast, delicious food and friendly staff!

Food is OK , most of the time your takeaway order will have missing stuff inside even though you payed . Never order + stuff for example extra cucumber or else because they not putting it inside,also staff there most of the time is lost or don't know where are they,especially on weekends or late at night on workdays. Overall decent place.

In the drive you sometimes wait 5-10 minutes

If I offer a drive in then you should be able to use the drive in counter. Card payments are also often canceled. The food has actually always been okay, but lately the employees haven't really been able to get anything done. :(

Wrong burgers (chicken ordered meat) without any side dishes but with double sauce for the side dishes and every time.

It is the best Burger Kunk restaurant with the best food.

I always enjoy driving by after work. The employee Krystian is great, friendly, helpful, quick, customer-oriented and professional. I'm happy every time he's there. Unfortunately he is rarely on site, but when he does, all guests can be happy that he is there. Hopefully he stays in service for a long time.

Before we ordered our ice cream, we asked whether the ice cream machine was working, and an employee even checked and said it was working. We then ordered ice cream and then heard that it wasn't working. We still haven't received the money we paid for it back after more than two weeks. It doesn't work at all!!! We were there for dinner today with 6 people and waited 35 minutes for our food - after 35 minutes it still wasn't ready and I wanted to ask why it was taking so long... The employee tried to get the food ready and left the burgers on the cold tray for 10 minutes - then I complained and wanted my money back! On a Sunday there were 3 employees in the kitchen - that's not normal!!!! Never again 🥵

Update: Unfortunately we were just there again and ordered via DriveIn. 2 kids menus. The nuggets were an imposition!! The fact that you dare to put something like that in a CHILDREN'S BOX is really poor! They were kept warm for what felt like 20 hours and fried at least twice... I can't explain the dark color and the mushy consistency any other way... I just don't feel like going there again. Otherwise I would have thrown the thing on their counter. Of course the children stayed hungry. We remain loyal to the competition with the yellow one... Never again. 1. REVIEW 1 car in front of us in the drive and we still waited easily for 15 minutes. Ordered 2 cheeseburgers without onions and cucumbers, which were still topped with cucumbers and I have never seen worse fries anywhere... wobbly, soaked in fat and sometimes almost black. We could only see 1 single worker who was taking care of the drive and the restaurant. Doesn't work at all...

The food was ok, but the cleanliness of the store leaves a lot to be desired. Restaurant quite ok. But tables are always dirty. Drive in takes so long ("slow" food instead of fast food) that it's better to go to a restaurant on the North Sea. You would be full faster. Orders are often wrong. Just not ok.

I was actually looking forward to the Burger King in Gronau to get some variety during my lunch break. Unfortunately, the waiting time is really too long (almost 12 minutes for a simple menu), which is why I only visit other locations. Admittedly, the experience was a few months ago, but based on what others have said, it doesn't seem to have improved yet.

We stood in the drive-thru and were not served after more than 5 minutes. There was no other car in sight in the McDrive. We then drove into the parking lot and ordered food to take away. Waiting time over 20 minutes for 1 menu and a burger. The restaurant was not well attended. It was only after the shift change that we noticed that we had been waiting for over 20 minutes. The McDrive time is not taken into account. I have never seen worse service anywhere. The crispy chicken also had no salad and hardly any sauce, the burger was just dry.

Vanavond (donderdag) voor de eerste keer hier geweest. Het was mooi rustig rond 18:00. Bijna het hele restaurant was leeg. Ik moest zo’n 10 minuten wachten op mijn bestelling, dat is prima. Burger was goed warm, frietjes waren al lauw. Rest was prima in orde. Ik ga liever naar de McD maar ik vind deze Burger King wel wat fijner zitten.

Przyjechalam dzis o 23.30 aby zlozyc zamowienie. Drzwi byly zamkniete choc jest otwarte do 24. W srodku byli klienci. Pojechalam na drive. Powiedziano mi, ze maja jedynie chickeny. 30min przed zamknieciem taki cyrk. To nie jest pierwszy raz. Jesli pracujecie do 24, to otwarte dla klientow jest do 24. Nie do 23.30. To byl moj ostatni raz w tym miejscu.
