Geh schon seit ewigkeiten dort essen und würde noch nie enttäuscht.

Wir kommen seit längerer Zeit immer wieder sehr gerne hierher und wurden bisher nie enttäuscht. Die Burger sind frisch, saftig und geschmacklich wirklich top. Die Pommes sind ebenfalls sehr lecker und die Portionen absolut fair. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die freundliche Atmosphäre und den stets guten Service. Das Restaurant ist sauber, modern eingerichtet und man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Für uns ein weiterer großer Pluspunkt: Alle Speisen sind halal, was heutzutage leider nicht selbstverständlich ist. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die gute Burger lieben. Wir werden definitiv weiterhin regelmäßig vorbeikommen! Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team. 👌🍔😊

Absolut fantastisch! Für mich ist das der beste Burger, den man in Essen essen kann. Das Fleisch war perfekt zubereitet und die Zutaten waren super frisch. Man schmeckt einfach die Qualität. Wer auf der Suche nach einem richtig guten Burger ist, muss unbedingt hierher kommen. Volle 5 Sterne!

Die Burger sind hervorragend, die Brötchen lecker und das großzügige Rindfleisch-Patty ebenfalls sehr gut! Das Personal ist außerdem sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Ein wirklich guter Burgerladen in Essen.

Super leckeres Essen! Guter Service und kurze Wartezeit. Die Lage ist sehr zentral, leicht zu finden und ein idealer Zwischenstopp für einen Shoppingtag in Essen.

Burger waren gut, die Pommes leider sehr salzig, knapp an der Grenze zum genießbaren. Daher auch ein Stern Abzug. Die Hühnchenteile waren für meinen Geschmack seltsam gewürzt.

Ich bin seit mindestens sechs Jahren Kunde dort und kann bestätigen, dass es sich um ein hervorragendes Burgerrestaurant handelt. Auch der Laden ist ausgezeichnet. Parkmöglichkeiten sind direkt am Limbecker Platz in dem Parkhaus vorhanden.

Köstliches Essen, erstklassige Lage.

We ordered four Caesar wraps, but unfortunately, we weren't satisfied at all this time. Chicken portion: There was very little chicken. There was so much lettuce that you could barely taste the chicken – the ratio was completely off. Leaf quality: The iceberg lettuce was no longer fresh; it was limp and dark in places. Conclusion: We didn't even eat one of the wraps. For almost €28, the quality was simply disappointing. I'm used to much better from Burger Brothers and have always been satisfied. What a shame!

The food was okay, but it was annoying that they charged an extra €1 for drinks with the meal. This wasn't mentioned anywhere – supposedly new prices. Sorry, but it wouldn't be much trouble to note that. To me, it's completely misleading. Weak!

Fresh food, delicious and sufficiently large portions

I ordered a burger, but it arrived raw and I vomited. I didn't get a refund or a replacement burger. The bread was also the wrong kind and the fries were cold. Never again! Stay away!

Unfortunately, my burger was only okay. The meat was dry and the sauce was barely there. The chicken burger was probably better, hence the 3 stars. Service was nice, but there were no napkins left, and the fries were served with the wrong sauce. The atmosphere is okay, but it gets really loud when it gets busy.

If you value quality and taste, this is the place for you. The burgers taste fantastic, are halal, and are freshly prepared with love.

We actually really like going to Burger Brothers. The food tastes absolutely delicious there. The burgers, in particular, are impressive in their freshness and flavor. Unfortunately, we've had several negative experiences with home orders. Of course, we're aware that fries might not be quite crispy upon delivery. That's understandable. What we find very disappointing, however, is that, as you can see in the picture, the burger bun once arrived burnt. This is disappointing, as we actually really like Burger Brothers, and a visit to the restaurant is always a pleasure. We hope they pay more attention to the quality of their deliveries in the future; then we would be happy to order again.

This is what a burger joint should be like! The decor is simple and rustic, the ordering process is straightforward, and the staff is friendly. My burger was truly top-notch: The buns were toasted just right, the patty was slightly crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, the sauces were well-mixed, and the fries were rustic and crispy. Definitely a recommendation for anyone who wants a proper burger 👍🏻

We spent €30 on two burgers (a large bro and a four-cheese burger), expecting mouth-watering flavors, but instead, it seemed like the chefs forgot to season the patty. Don't get me wrong, as a Muslim in Germany, I've had almost all the burgers in Düsseldorf, Essen, and Cologne, and they weren't good compared to the prices. Disappointing... not recommended

I like to eat there every now and then and I'm always satisfied! Be it with the food, the staff, and the atmosphere. During Ramadan, they even handed out soup and dates for breaking the fast. I thought this gesture was really sweet 🥰

The French fries are coated in peanut oil. The milkshakes are delicious.

The food at Burger Brothers is very tasty, the chicken wings and the sweet chili sauce are super tasty, my boyfriend thought the classico burger was very good, nice staff, the toilets are very clean and the atmosphere is really good, in general the Burger Brothers food is great, I can recommend it to everyone, it's much better than MC Donalds etc. best regards, Ole ihde

Loved my first visit in April 19th, 2025! That 4-cheese burger was seriously amazing, a total flavor bomb. And those chili wings, So good! Super impressed with the lightning-fast service (under 5 mins!). Plus, walked right in and got a table. Great food, no hassle. Definitely going back!

Unfortunately, I feel like the store has gone down quite a bit. Two years ago, the food here was a revelation. Unfortunately now it's only "pretty good". You can't really complain, but you are disappointed by the drop in quality, especially since the prices have risen significantly (like everywhere).

I've often eaten at Burger Brothers in Düsseldorf (it's a shame it had to close) and here for the first time. The staff are very nice and friendly, the interior is inviting. I ordered a chili cheeseburger (set menu), with filet bites and Elephant Bay iced passion fruit tea (The tastiest iced tea ever). The burger tasted very good, very juicy and above all the cheese sauce was very tasty. Here too you can choose between different types of bread (sesame, self-made and wholemeal). The selection is also very large; you can also order wraps, waffles, crepes, brownies, shakes and salad.

Really nice atmosphere and also very good food! However, service is really not good and sometimes you can't order what's on the menu...

The food was very tasty but it took a very long time. We thought they had forgotten us. People who ordered after us received their order before us.

I am disappointed with the poor customer support. I accidentally placed an order and immediately called to cancel it. The lady on the phone said I had to contact the courier. The courier then contacted the restaurant and suddenly cancellation was no longer possible. It can't be the case that an order can no longer be canceled within a minute. Wouldn't it be possible to simply notify the kitchen that an order needs to be canceled or changed while it's still being prepared? To me, this seems like a ploy by the company to gain more time and still deliver the order. It's terrible how problems like this are dealt with. If you accidentally order too much, the restaurant should be more accommodating. Very unprofessional!

Best burger last two month’s when i eat,s burgers everytime was it possible

I was there today and ate the worst burger of my life. I don't know how you get such good reviews. The burgers had neither taste nor was the burger bread fresh (just made warm). The first and last time. + I left my change of around €5 there. I wasn't even asked about it at the checkout, even though I was there for another 2-3 minutes and got the drink out of the fridge. In short: never again! :-)

Ordered via UberEats today. Delivery was ok but the quality of the food was not. About 1 hour after consumption, my partner and I were overcome by nausea, chills and diarrhea. Thanks for food poisoning 🙃 Unfortunately I can't recommend this store.

Friendly service, delicious food, nice atmosphere. We liked the burger. You have enough choice. Instead of fries, you can also order crispy chicken as a side dish (for an additional charge).

I can only warmly recommend Burger Brother in Essen! I tried the Hot BBQ menu with sweet potatoes and Joppie sauce and it was to die for! The combination of the juicy burger and the spicy BBQ sauce was an absolute culinary delight. The sweet potatoes were perfectly cooked and rounded off the dish wonderfully. I also ordered the 6 chicken wings, and wow, they were also to die for! Crispy, spicy and just plain delicious – I could eat them every day! A very special plus point is that everything is 100% halal and homemade. You can taste the love and care that goes into every dish. The central location right in the city center at Limbecker Platz also makes it super easy to get here. It's the perfect place to take a break from shopping with friends or just enjoy a great burger. I can't wait to come back and try more delicacies. Burger Brother is definitely a must for all burger lovers in Essen!

The food was good to very good. It was prepared quickly and was hot too. The sauces weren't really my thing. The service was good, although in such a small restaurant you could serve at the table, but the cashier was sweet. You have to say that the ambience is a matter of taste, I think it suits the place and is completely sufficient.

The card reader was broken that day. Was in a hurry. Wanted the order to be taken so the food could be prepared while I went to withdraw money. Was rejected. I didn't think it was that nice, especially since it's not uncommon to pay after the meal. I thought it was a shame and had to spontaneously look for another place to eat. Edit: I find your answer understandable. However, I have to say that if your card reader is defective, you could have made an exception. Customers come to you believing that they can pay by card because they have always allowed you to do so in the past.

Top burgers, super friendly service and acceptable prices. I have been ordering from here regularly since it opened and I am satisfied. Unfortunately, I always find everything with chicken to be too dry and the breading is very dark from being fried. You may want to lower the temperature of the oil a little.

The only thing that was good was the nice service. We had 3× burgers and fries with a drink. So menu. Over 45 euros. Happily. Why am I saying now? Quality bad. The bun was just dry. The meat, one of the worst burger patties I or we have ever eaten. They say that the eyes eat with the eyes, so maybe the people who prepare the things there should take this matter to heart. You won't see us there anymore. Unfortunately. Were there because it looked good from the outside but well, never again. The 3 of us ate there today. First and last time.

I had very high expectations based on the other reviews, but unfortunately they were not met. I had the 4 Cheese Burger and the Big Bro. The Big Bro was juicy and tasted quite good, but it wasn't anything too special. Unfortunately the 4 Cheese was too dry for me as there was no sauce other than cheese on it. Both burgers were okay but nothing earth-shattering. The service was quite nice and the atmosphere was quite nice. You can try it out for yourself, but I can't give a recommendation.

Fantastic burgers at Burger Brothers! I tried a menu here for €18 and it was really worth it. The burger was one of the best I've ever eaten. The quality of the ingredients and the taste were outstanding. I highly recommend Burger Brothers and will definitely come back!

It was our first time at Burger Brothers. The very friendly employee explained everything to us in detail and gave us some “advice”. Since I don't eat meat, it's always very difficult for me to find a delicious burger. I have to say that I had the best veggie burger ever here. Everything was perfect. I was really excited. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the tables were not completely clean. But all in all it's worth a visit!

NEVER WORTH A VISIT AGAIN! I was in the store on June 13th, 2024 at around 4 p.m. and was served at the checkout by a very disrespectful employee who doesn't even know how to deal with customers and who rolls her eyes and answers cheekily when customers make special requests !!!! If you don't feel like doing the job, then it's better to leave it alone instead of scaring off the owner's customers. Makes me feel stupid when I order, but isn't able to hand me the correct order myself 👏🏼👏🏼

1. You are loudly reminded 40 minutes before the store closes while you are already sitting on the upper floor that the store closes at 2100. 2. Tables so dirty that you smear your shirt. 3. Doors of the toilet facilities totally smeared with grease. 4. Not the first time meat has been raw, so much for Halal. I'm disappointed, I paid €40 for two menus and still felt uncomfortable. The last time for me.

Really tasty burger, would highly recommend the big bro burger - very juicy and filling. Chips are ok, nice selection of sauces however.

Can't understand the positive reviews. Half of the order was wrong and what was there didn't taste good at all. Burger meat thinner than at Meckes. Fries ok. Chicken wings unidentifiable aftertaste. It's a shame actually. The shop looks very cozy, but DIRTY!

The chicken wings are juicy but the spicy wings are not spicy at all. There is no seasoning taste. I ordered Big Brother for the burger, which is double-layered meat. The bread is double-layer cheese and juicy. From p3, you can see that the outside of the bread is crispy but the inside is very soft. It won’t overflow when you take a bite. Basically, every bite can be controlled to include bread, meat, sauce and side dishes. The meat is very good. fragrant

The burger was fine, but there is no burger larger than a double which was a huge disappointment given most pictures are of massive stack burgers. Then the price.... very expensive for the burger and while it is tasty, it is just very over priced

While we were there, we were already looked down upon by the two employees with black hair on March 5, 2024 at 8:50 p.m. Their texts were immediately prepared in their heads and they said it would take 30 minutes until we got a chili cheeseburger menu, which wasn't a problem. But it turned out that it was ready after 5 minutes. When I asked if you can take the drinks, they said yes, and then I kept wondering where to open the unopenable bottles. Only after I asked did they say “over there.” Great explanation, thank you. The burgers were made in a hurry and there were no napkins, which is complete bullshit. P.S. Despite all these horrific odds, I gave the exact date and time to be scrutinized by the bosses/employees.

Super nice staff, not too big a selection of burgers that you're overwhelmed, but enough that you can decide quickly and still have a choice and the furnishings are nice and the benches are comfortable. Fries are some of the best I know from burger chains.
