200g Grill & Bar in Essen

So far I have always been satisfied both on site and at home

The three of us ate today at the 200 Gramm Grill & Bar in Essen. Luckily we had made a reservation - initially not necessary, but later the restaurant filled up and the reservation proved helpful. We chose this restaurant because the menu really appealed to us and we value organic products. The high quality and “purity” of the food were a crucial point for us. The beer was perfectly chilled, the service was friendly and attentive. We also really liked the ambience. The food itself was excellent: I had an Argentinian rump steak that was cooked to perfection and tasted excellent. My companions were equally enthusiastic - the spare ribs and the cheeseburger were also completely convincing. The only small point of criticism: the door to the toilets. It would be more hygienic to install a handle or an automatic opening mechanism here, as the sliding door without a handle is not optimal. Overall, we had a wonderful evening and will definitely visit the 200 Gramm Grill & Bar more often and consider it as an integral part of our evenings.

Very good cuisine, solid hamburgers, the dessert is super tasty

The low point first: The atmosphere is comparable to a loud train station hall because the noise level is extremely high. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. You can hardly wish for more. Our burgers were all really tasty, even though the price actually implies that fries are already included. Unfortunately, something was forgotten in 2 out of 5 orders. In terms of the quality of the food, everything was great.

If I reserve a table in advance, I expect a normal table and not a bar table, because that way I can save myself the reservation. Burger tastes average. Chili cheese fries were a total failure, so I'd rather go with normal fries. Service is practically non-existent, no waiter asks in between whether everything is ok or whether you have any further requests.

Even if the quality of the food has decreased slightly (that's how we would rate it in terms of taste on today's visit), it is still incredibly tasty! The service is great! And also very special that everything is organic. Overall, we are again very satisfied today.

Super tasty burgers at a decent, reasonable price. You have to like the ambience, i.e. if you like gutted buildings, you've come to the right place: bare concrete. I like it. The waitresses are really friendly and take the right approach when it comes to asking questions and staying in the background.

Really, really, really delicious burgers. Were there for the first time. If food wasn't so far away, this would become my regular burger joint. Very nice service. The food was quickly at the table (OK, it wasn't busy yet), the burger patty was supposed to be medium... it was 1a medium. Had the Detroid 200g burger...drool! Shortcoming: Of course I took a bite...had to lick my fingers straight away and then wash them off 😁...that's how it should be, right? If I wanted to “complain”: the location! It's time to look for a parking space. And: I love Coca Cola with ice cream...there's Fritz Cola...well, whatever. 😉 Keep going! Great shop!

The staff has always been very friendly, there is nothing wrong with that! The burger selection may seem a bit small, but it is very varied. Mediterranean, Asian, classic, everything is there. The rolls are crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and the meat is butter-tender and juicy. Add a portion of chili cheese fries and you're happy! The decor is very rustic/industrial and seems a bit dark at first but over time it becomes cozy. I will continue to come to eat! 👍

Somehow I remembered the Dirty Fries as being tastier. The portion was so big that I couldn't finish the food. Preferably a smaller portion. So please quality over quantity. My husband didn't think his burger was phenomenal either. Before Corona the food was better. There was no other customer there except us… It was slacking off.

Great burgers. The patty is truly world class. Highly Recommended. Personal criticism: A little watery due to vegetable topping (cucumber, tomato). I would have liked it to be a bit greasier overall. The sauce (cocktail?) wasn't really my thing either. But overall it's still consistent and a great burger. Definitely deserves 5 stars on Google.

Yesterday we ordered something to pick up from 200g. When we got home, we realized that we had been given two portions of fries instead of two portions of poutine. Of course we got the poutine recreated, some sauces as compensation and a big apology. This is how service should be! Mistakes happen, no problem, but I wish I had an apology like that everywhere! Thank you very much and big praise to the team! Only the ambience inside could be a little livelier and more inviting, which is why we often get our food. Maybe that's just a matter of taste. The food is definitely always top!

We had an excellent meal here. The service at 200g is attentive and friendly. Thank you very much for that. The atmosphere feels too much like a factory hall for my taste. Of course that is intentional and the furnishings are harmonious. However, a factory is not cozy, so we didn't feel like we wanted to linger for a glass of wine and dessert after eating. But feeling good is of course also a matter of taste when it comes to the ambience. Thank you for the good hospitality.

Top shop and friendly service. Love the El Valenciano with extra bacon. I'm just sad that the yucca fries are no longer available. “The Fat Greek” - the hottest burger of the month so far 👌🏼 One star deduction for the ambience: when it's a bit fuller, it's a bit too loud for me.

35 minutes for a burger to take away with the shop 1/4 full + terrace. In addition, a certain not-so-polite, understanding service. Very unfortunate. The burger was very good, especially the meat (the reason why I only eat here), but the salad was at least 3 days old, the rotten ends were still attached and in general the vegetables were very large and carelessly cut. Been here many times and always enjoy going back. The burgers are a little more expensive, but the ingredients are organic and of very high quality. The burger can be fried medium and the home-made fries are also very tasty. My all-time favorite burger is the Napoli Burger with poutine.

The food on site was always good. Unfortunately, the last order I picked up, the fries were soggy and the burger was cold... even though I was there after about 10 minutes. For a price of €19 I don't think that's okay.

Burger quality is good, but expensive. Cheeseburger, fries, mayo & ketchup and a lemonade for just under 28 euros is quite sporty! And here's the question: Why does a veggie patty cost the same as an organic beef patty? Service was friendly and quick.

Always happy in 200g. The burgers are super good and there is definitely no skimping on the amount of fries or similar. Something else is cheap, but the quality is really good and that has its price. In any case, I think the price is justified and that's why I keep coming back.

Food was very good, service unfortunately a disaster. Apart from us, there was only one other table occupied, but the waitresses preferred to talk to each other rather than serve... the blonde waitress in particular was constantly on her cell phone and didn't notice that people were literally staring at her to order something... It was cleared away without asking if everything was OK and you were denied the opportunity to order anything else. Unfortunately, the good quality of the food can't save much... The staff here should urgently be reconsidered.

Just wanted to eat at 200g. Unfortunately it wasn't possible. Despite the yawning emptiness of the restaurant, the employees preferred to chat at the counter while drinking sodas rather than serve us.

Went there for the first time yesterday due to the review. The ambience is very cold and uninviting. No noise blankets, which makes it extremely loud and difficult to communicate. I ate a 200gr cheeseburger with fries. The bun looked and tasted like a toast bun, which in my opinion is completely inappropriate for a burger. Unfortunately, the patty was well cooked even though I ordered it medium rare, but it still tasted okay. The rest of the burger was average and unfortunately generally not really warm. The fries looked home-made and tasted like potatoes, but unfortunately they weren't really cooked through and weren't really warm either. The sauces tasted very standard, so not homemade. Unfortunately there were no fancy drinks or homemade items. All in all, I wouldn't recommend the store.

Very good burgers. You can clearly tell that attention is paid to organic and the quality of the ingredients. The furnishings in the restaurant seem very simple, rustic but somehow appropriate. The prices of the dishes are a bit high (€15 per burger without fries) The waitresses are very friendly, but you do have to wait a while for your food.

Not great in terms of taste, we had citizens and spareribs. We looked at the menu and prices online, but unfortunately they didn't match. In the store it was very cold and we had to leave the jacket on and somehow it wasn't inviting at all. Conclusion: it stays with one visit and is not recommended further.

Cool in-location, very rustic and with a simple ambience, but still cozy. The only drawback for me was the volume; it's difficult to communicate across a large table. The service is friendly and the dishes are delicious and creative. Parking situation modest. Priced in the middle range. Kids are just as possible as dogs. The meat in the burgers is BOMB!👍🏻❤️ We'll be happy to come back.

Der für mich beste Burgerladen in Essen. Mit dem Burger des Monats, gibts hier auch immer noch was besonderes. Super nettes Team. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Habe mir die Preise auf der Website angeschaut und dann bei Freunden mitbestellt. Es schmeckte zwar, aber ich war sehr schockiert als ich dann 22€ für einen kleinen Burger und eine Pommes ohne alles, zahlen sollte. Die Preise stimmen nicht mit der Speisekarte überein. Und 5,50€ für so ne überschaubare Portion Pommes fand ich eine Ansage.

On first entry the rustic deco goes so far to appear unfinished. The staff are friendly and in my experience quick to serve. The 200g Cheese burger is very very good, possibly one of the best places for a Cheeseburger in Essen. I come here every now and again for that reason and it is consistently good. I did try something else on the menu once but it was in comparison average so I‘ll be sticking to the Cheeseburger.

Ein sehr schlichtes und schönes Lokal, freundliche und schnelle Bedienung. Das Essen ist super und der Preis dementsprechend angemessen!

Burger durchschnittlich. Brötchen waren sehr trocken, dass sie auseinander gefallen sind. Mag vielleicht zur Zeit hip zu sein, mit „Bio“ Ambiente keine. Alles in Allem mit dem Preis ist es mir nicht wert das zu bezahlen.

Nettes Personal und richtig leckere Burger, komme gerne wieder

Wir waren gestern zu dritt mit Baby dort essen. Geschmacklich auf gutem Niveau, dadurch etwas kleinere Portionen. Wir hatten Burger und Spare Ribs, sowie ein hausgemachtes Tiramisu als Nachtisch. Die Kellnerinnen waren nett. Das Ambiete, ein industrial Look, war für uns nicht stimmig und wir haben uns nicht wohl gefühlt. Toiletten waren sauber. Wenn man bedenkt, dass das Fleisch Bio ist, ist der Preis gerechtfertigt, sodass wir sagen gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Noch nie enttäuscht nach Hause gegangen

Ich war heute zum ersten Mal bei 200g. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und ich musste nicht lange auf meine Bestellung warten. Zum Essen: hier kennt jemand definitiv sein Handwerk. Das Fleisch ist geschmacklich wirklich so gut, sodass keine großen Saucen notwendig sind, um irgendwie Geschmack in den Burger bringen zu müssen. Ein Plus ist, dass das Fleisch vom Bio Metzger kommt. Sowohl der Detriot Burger, als auch der Pulled Pork überzeugen im Geschmack. Die Pommes sind ebenfalls sehr gut. Gut gewürzt, gute Konsistenz , gute Portion. Das Ambiente ist auch gemütlich und die Auswahl an alkoholfreien und alkoholischen Getränken lässt keine Wunsch übrig. Ganz ehrlich: 5/5 sowas von verdient. Es ist natürlich immer eine Momentaufnahme und wahrscheinlich ist der 200g Laden auch oft sehr voll, aber die Leute kennen ihr Handwerk und das ist das, was zählt. Vielen Dank! Ich komme wieder

Die Spareribs fallen zart vom Knochen ab. Auch die BBQ Soße und die Chilimayo samt Pommes haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

Das Essen ist spitze und bietet, obwohl es nicht die typischen "Standardburger" sind, meiner Meinung nach für jeden etwas. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Restaurant an sich ist in einem urbanen Ambiente gehalten, sehr cool aber aufgrund der offenen Raumgestaltung kann es schnell laut werden. Wen das nicht stört, dem wird es hier gefallen.

Alles sehr lecker, Detroit Burger, Dirty Fries, Chilli Fries, super Nachtisch... Sehr netter Service... die Location ist halt nix besonderes, aber es geht ja ums Burger essen... und die sind Spitze.

Die Burger schmecken super lecker, sind saftig und Pommes bekommt man definitiv reichlich dazu! Es gibt eine gute Auswahl an Burgern (ebenfalls vegetarische) und anderen Gerichten, sodass wohl für jeden etwas dabei sein sollte. Bei dem Fleisch sowie den Brötchen wird viel Wert auf Bio Qualität gelegt und man kann selbst entscheiden welche Garstufe das Fleisch haben soll. Lediglich das Ambiente lässt zu wünschen übrig und ist vermutlich einfach Geschmackssache. Für mich wirkt es einfach unglaublich ungemütlich und lädt nicht dazu ein länger als nötig zu verweilen.

Die Burger sind wirklich super gut. Für mich der Burgerladen in Essen.

Wollten dort Samstag essen gehen, Terasse offen, schönes Wetter. Leider draußen nur Raucher. Wollten dann einen Platz im Lokal nehmen. Vor der Tür stand unmittelbar vor dem Eingang ein großer Mann und war ebenfalls am Rauchen. Ich sagte zu meiner Begleitung „lass uns rein gehen, ich finde Rauchen ekelig“… Die Bedienung hat uns freundlich empfangen und gesagt wir hätten freie Platzwahl. Nachdem wir die etwas schwierigen Karten gesichtet haben, kam besagter Raucher wutentbrannt auf uns zu und sagte in einem unverschämten Ton „er finde Rauchen nicht ekelig, das wäre ja wohl sein Lokal und wir sollten es bitte Verlassen“ Gesagt , getan. Und im Endeffekt waren wir mehr als froh dort nicht gegessen zu haben!!! da dieser Mann nach dem Rauchen und ohne sich die Hände zu waschen und in einem sehr dreckigen Shirt direkt an der Theke weiter gearbeitet hat, Flaschen geöffnet hat und Getränke eingegossen hat. Da will ich bei solchen Hygiene Standards nicht wissen was in der Küche abgeht. Wenn er es nicht nötig hat,

Zum Essen, es ist wirklich gut. Für die Gegend aber etwas teuer. Ambiente für meine Empfindung gar nicht vorhanden. Sieht aus als hätte man in aller Eile Tische und Stühle in ein leer Stehendes Objekt geschmissen. Nicht meins. Sehr unangenehm ist das die Tür zu den sanitären Anlagen nicht von alleine schließt und somit fast immer offen steht, da die meisten Kunden es nicht hinbekommen die Tür zu schließen.

Immer wieder lecker... Den Detroit Bürger empfehle ich sehr gerne weiter.

Die Burger sind ohne Zweifel die besten weit und breit. Die Patties sind perfekt gebraten und die Burger stabil gebaut, sodass sie beim Essen nicht direkt auseinander fallen.

Tolle Burger und Service, Akkustik im Restaurant muss nochmal überarbeitet werden 😅

Die Poutine ist eine der besten, die ich bislang gegessen habe. Die Burger können qualitativ m.E. absolut mit denen aus dem The ASH mithalten, sind dabei aber deutlicher geringer bepreist. Für mich bislang die All-Time Nummer 2 (RIP Meatlove) in Burger. Gleiches gilt für die Spare Ribs. Absolut zart und ebenfalls meine Nummer 2 (RIP Turtle Bay). Zurzeit gibt es in diesem Disziplinen scheinbar keine ernsthafte Konkurrenz. Sollte jemand subjektiv besseres kennen, lasst es mich bitte wissen ;) Warum dann keine 5 Sterne? Die Spieße waren leider etwas trocken und die lecker klingende Marinade, war lediglich eine Fleischverfärbung und konnte geschmacklich nicht wiedergefunden werden. Am Ambiente stört mich nur der Boden, der mich eher an Baustelle denken lässt. Das könnt ihr doch besser, liebes 200g Team!

Wir haben um 20:40 uhr bestellt über Lieferando und um kurz vor 22 uhr wurde die bestellung von ihrer Seite aus storniert. Jetzt sitzten wir hier nach 22 uhr mit unglaublichem Hunger . Hätten sie viel früher stornieren sollen ! Unverschämt. Keine ahnung wie es schmeckt…

Der Home-Burger ist der beste Burger überhaupt!

Super Service. Die Käsesauce auf den Dirty Fries war etwas hart und nicht cremig und das Fleisch vom Burger etwas trocken. Sonst Top.

Super freundlicher, toller Service, sensationelle Burger, besser geht nicht, die Pommes mit Chili Mayo so Lecka. Die Getränke top gekühlt und dazu dieser super Service in einer angenehmen Atmosphäre.

Bester Burger den es gibt. Wirklich. Super Cheeseburger! Auch die vegetarischen Burger sind richtig lecker. Das Brot ist toll, die Saucen, Tomate und co sind frisch, gute Getränke-Auswahl. Die Chilli-Cheese Pommes sind wirklich mit Käse und Chillis. Keine Chemie-Käsesauce oder so. Es gibt viele Sitzplätze, auch draußen. Man kann das Essen auch zum mitnehmen bestellen. Seit Jahren gleichbleibende Qualität. Super!

War mal besser. Leider sind die Zutaten nicht so lecker wie vorher. Ich weiß nicht, woran es liegt. Wir haben Medium bestellt und es war eher well done. Die Pommes sind immer noch super lecker.

Burger Restaurant im modernen Beton look. Große Auswahl an Speisen., gutes Bio Fleisch welches sehr gut an die bestellte Garstufe angebraten war. Auch die Hausgemachten Fritten mit Bratensoße trafen meine Geschmack. Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen.

Essen wurde über Lieferando bestellt und erfolgreich übermittelt. Nach 40 Minuten Wartezeit wurde meine Bestellung ohne weitere Begründung storniert. Hätte man es nicht vorher machen können und nicht nach erst 40 Minuten?

Der beste Burger Laden in Essen. Alle Burger kann man vegetarisch oder vegan bekommen. Der Burger des Monats ist immer ausgefallen und lecker. Die Pommes Varianten sind super und die Mitarbeiter sind mega nett und freundlich.

Waren zu Besuch in Essen und sind in dieses Restaurant geführt worden. Super leckere Burger und Pommes und dann auch noch mit Biofleisch -Jackpot! Wir kommen beim nächsten Besuch ganz bestimmt wieder!!
