Buon Giorno in Hamburg

Ordentlicher Teig bei Pizzen, gut gebacken, das ist die Hauptsache.Leider bei der Pizza mit Meeresfrüchten für 15 Euro ein sehr, sehr sparsamer Belag aus günstigen Zutaten.. Das mindert den guten Eindruckk sehr. Andererseits mag ich keine Pizzen, die in der Mitte eine Matsche aus Tomaten und Käse aufweisen sie müssen knusprig bleiben.

Everything is great! Food was super quick and very tasty. Varying daily specials. Ambiance also great. Nothing to complain about!

4 visits in 7 days. We loved it. Our favorite table always reserved. Good wines not on the menu. Pleasant setting and not noisy. We will come back. The pizzas, pasta, meat, everything is good.

Friendly little cellar pizza basically in the middle of the city. As a welcome, pizza rolls and aioli were on the table. The pizzas are large and, in contrast to a franchised pizzeria near the State Opera, are well stocked. The noodles are very tasty. Price-performance unbeatable. The great hospitality that you can feel here is priceless.

Wir waren bereits zum dritten Mal in diesem Restaurant und kommen auch beim nächsten Hamburg Besuch wieder. Ein sehr schönes, kleines Restaurant. Nette Bedienung und sehr gutes Essen. Für jeden ist etwas dabei: große Pizzen, leckere Nudeln, gute Weine.

Very fast delivery: "Come in 10 minutes" And when I walked in the door I was greeted and asked if I had ordered the three dishes x, y and z, which I had! The food was packed and ready! Absolutely perfect!

The food was delicious, the portions were super good, even large for one person, the place was warm and beautiful, very delicious drinks, we were able to enter with the dog, only the service of the waiter leaves a lot to be desired, he got upset when we were looking at what drink to order, we had I had to order the food quickly because otherwise the waiter would turn away annoyed, that can improve.

Went there with a group and called shortly beforehand. Really great restaurant. You wouldn't suspect it at first. The pizza was really awesome and at the end there was also grappa, sambucca or limoncello on the house. Top!

The pizza was served after 15 minutes. The staff is very attentive. We had made a reservation online on the same day, but there was no confirmation of our table reservation. The good thing was that you could definitely find 2 seats within a short wait. It is still possible on Mondays or at the beginning of the week. I ordered a pizza with funghi and schinlen. Unfortunately the pizza wasn't that special. And it was difficult to cut them with a knife. She just wasn't quite through it. That's why I don't rate it 5 stars. I couldn't eat them whole.

Cosy Italian place. The service was great, with the friendliest of waiters! The pesto spaghetti was nicely cooked with a short waiting time. Finished the meal with a wonderful tiramisu, which I can highly recommend.

Fantastic pizzas served here. The Salami Milano pizza was to die for! The restaurant with very limited outdoor seating in front of the entrance is located in the basement. Italian music plays appropriately in the background. It only gets a little warm from the pizza ovens, but otherwise it's a great place.

Lovely underground Italian Pizza and Pasta! The atmosphere is amazing, and so was the food!! The presentation was on point, loved the gnocchi formacci. Would definitely recommend!

Im Rahmen eines Abendessen hier eingekehrt. Da es noch recht früh war, gab es auch ohne Reservierung einen Tisch. Positiv zu bewerten ist, dass hier zwei Sorten Carbonara angeboten werden: einmal mit Sahnesauce und einmal als Klassiker. Ich hatte mich für die klassische Variante entschieden und muss sagen: das geht sicherlich besser. Preislich war das Gericht völlig in Ordnung (12 Euro).

An extremely tasty restaurant with mega good dishes. However, the ventilation of the interior rooms needs to be worked on. Unfortunately, a fan is not enough to deal with the waste heat from the pizza ovens. Perhaps better ventilation or air conditioning would be highly recommended.

Were there an hour before closing time. The gentleman who welcomed us was so semi-friendly. (Certainly already tired and knocked out, which I understand since I worked in the catering industry myself for 13 years.) The service itself was very quick and smooth. As soon as we sat down, there was already a basket with a selection of bread and a delicious garlic dip on the table. The menu and drinks were also there quickly. After ordering, the food came very quickly, although my rump steak came well before my husband's pizza. Unfortunately, my rump steak was extremely stringy and I couldn't eat some of the very large pieces. Unfortunately, after being spoken to twice, the response was ZERO. At the first mention there was a "Not good." At the second: "Koch says: Normal, it can happen." As I said, I come from the catering industry and THAT wasn't normal and simply an extremely inferior piece of meat that had no place on the guest's plate. As a good cook, you cut out such places beforehand. Well, now there was no tip due to the slightly stroppy reactions and no concessions and the next time we're in Hamburg we'll try another Italian restaurant.

Waren eine Stunde vor Schließung da. Der Herr der uns empfing war so semifreundlich. (Sicherlich schon müde und k.o., wofür ich Verständnis habe, da ich selber 13 Jahre in der Gastro gearbeitet habe.) Der Service an sich war sehr schnell und reibungslos. Kaum gesessen, stand schon ein Körbchen mit einer Brotauswahl samt eines megaleckeren Knobi-Dips auf dem Tisch. Speisekarte und Getränke waren auch fix da. Das Essen kam nach der Bestellung auch megaschnell, allerdings mein Rumpsteak deutlich vor der Pizza meines Mannes. Mein Rumpsteak war leider extrem sehnig und ich habe einige, sehr große Stücke nicht essen können. Entgegenkommen, nach zweifacher Ansprache, lag leider bei NULL. Bei erster Erwähnung gab es ein:"Nicht gut." Bei zweiter:"Koch sagt: Normal, kann mal vorkommen." Wie gesagt, komme ich aus der Gastro und DAS war nicht normal und einfach ein extrem minderwertiges Stück Fleisch, was in der Form nichts auf dem Gastteller zu suchen hat. Solche Stellen schneidet man als gute Koch vorher raus. Naja, nun gab es aufgrund der leicht patzigen Reaktionen, ohne jedes Entgegenkommen kein Trinkgeld und wenn wir das nächste Mal in Hamburg sind, probieren wir es bei einem anderen Italiener.

Great ambience. Unfortunately I didn't like the pizza here. I specifically walked there from the port because of the good reviews. The salami on the salami pizza tastes “cheap” and otherwise the pizza has no special taste. The price is too high for that. Unfortunately.

The pizzas are good, unfortunately the mixed salad wasn't that good, totally tasteless and hardly any dressing. I didn't find the inside appealing, but you can also sit outside (sidewalk).

Prima della mezza maratona di Amburgo avevamo bisogno di un tradizionale piatto di pasta con il pomodoro ed eccoci qui. Pasta cotta bene, porzioni abbondanti, servizio gentile. Prezzo giusto. La prossima volta speriamo di provare altre pietanze del menu.

Great place to eat a tasty pizza. Price-quality is okay. Inside it is very cramped and too hot for us now (it was 22 degrees outside). It was nice to be outside, but inside it felt like 30 degrees. Staff was friendly, the pizza calzone was excellent

If you ever in a new place and not sure where to eat, a good genuine Italian restaurant never disappoints. The service is everything you want, the food genuine and tasty. The service is done by properly experienced waiters. It's not flashy and superficial, just real Italian food and substance.

Service was good, chef was very friendly chatting to us when we were leaving. Pizza was nice, lots of options but it was a bit heavier than I like (personal preference)

My daughter and I loved this place. The pizza was delicious and one of our favorite meals on our trip to Germany, the service was fantastic. And my daughter was won over by the sucker at the end. Made us excited to visit Italy next year and look forward to amazing pizza.

A very tasty Italian. I had the pizza with olives and peppers from the lunch menu. The homemade Italian pizza including a soft drink and espresso is perfectly fine for €12.

The calzone was a poem from the bottom up, the service was very accommodating and friendly.

It started with a little greeting from the kitchen. Homemade pizza rolls with homemade aioli. I had a Pasta Carbonara Classica to eat. In my opinion, this tasted great! Creativity was not spared when choosing the plates. For dessert I ordered a tiramisu, despite the fact that I'm not really a fan of coffee, it tasted very good. If the Cabonara hadn't been so filling, I would have easily ordered another one. I had a normal VitaMalz drink. However, I can also recommend the Aperol Spritz after trying it out. When I ordered the bill, a limoncello came, again, nothing to complain about! The service is really great! Very friendly staff who are also available for a joke or two. On my next stay in Hamburg, I will visit this restaurant again! Thank you for the good food.

We ate there and were more than just disappointed. I don't even know how best to start. 1. The waitress was monotone. 2. The food was expensive. (from €12 for pasta) 3. The food doesn't taste good. My pasta didn't taste like anything, even though I sprinkled a lot of cheese on it and had ham and champions on it. 4. The sauce was probably just water and a little cream. 5. Then the staff disappeared and we waited forever until we had to get up to check on the staff. They were ALL eating. (You can do it, but not all at the same time...) Conclusion: everything is just monotonous and tasteless. I have no idea why the restaurant has such a good rating.

Tripadvisor geraadpleegd en zo in dit restaurant terecht gekomen. We waren wat vroeg (17u00) en daardoor veel plaats. Op deze zonnige dag kozen we om buiten te zitten. Heerlijk gegeten, pizza tonno en tagliatelle met zalm en spinazie. Vriendelijke bediening. Prijs-kwaliteit zeker een aanrader.

The food and service were very good. The price/performance ratio is very good. The ambience could be better. The red/white checkered tablecloths are no longer white, but yellowed. On top there are useful but not pretty plastic tablecloths. And the rooms could use a fresh coat of paint.

Drive a good 1 hour 30 minutes for this restaurant! Speaks for itself! Great food, nice service, place a bit cramped but cozy...Only the scampi starter was far too little for €12.50!! But we'll be back :-)

I really liked the place, it was cozy and friendly! They brought us complimentary fresh bread. We ordered pizza which was ready fast and it was also tasty. Overall we very much enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant. The price is fair as well.

After some more shopping in Hamburg, we were hungry and visited the Buon Giorno nearby. Since we were very hungry, we each ordered the Bruschetta alla Buon Giorno and a pizza each. Well, what can I say, I can eat well, but the Boun Giorno really means well with a 😁 We didn't manage to eat the entire meal. Well, since it was already raining, the sentence - "If you don't finish your portion, then there will be bad weather" - couldn't be any worse 😅 But if you think that the quality suffers given the given quantity, you are very much mistaken! The food was excellent and the value for money is excellent! So until next time, Arrivederci!

A small family business with great food, friendly staff and fair prices. Absolute recommendation!

The truffle pasta was to die for, I've honestly never had pasta this good! Overall, the portions are quite large, so if you want to order a starter plus dessert, you should be very hungry, that's a big plus! But you shouldn't dress too warmly because the pizza oven is centrally located and heats up the whole place. All in all a fabulous Italian!

The restaurant is well located in the city center of Hamburg. Accessibility by public transport is excellent. If you arrive by car, there are usually enough parking spaces available within a 5-minute walk. We were warmly welcomed and were able to choose our table even without a reservation. Accessibility by wheelchair is only possible outside. The food was there within 10 minutes of ordering, the quality was good, the quantity was good. The pizza bread was excellent, really tasty. The plate for the pasta resembled a roof tile, but it was a very successful idea, really great! The price level in the restaurant is medium-low. The toilet was clean. I can highly recommend the restaurant.

We were here late in the evening on a Sunday and it was one of the few restaurants in the area that still had warm food. The food was absolutely top and the dough was freshly prepared. (We could see the kitchen from where we sat) The prices are also very fair. We'd love to come back.

Went here based on the reviews from here, and man was I disappointed. This is the most overrated place ever. Had a pizza, and it was totally tasteless and the dough had no flavour, tasted like frozen pizza. To be honest, I had frozen pizza that have tasted better. There most be better choices in Hamburg. Stay away

Very tasty, nice service, good food

We didn't have to wait long and everything was delicious. Price-wise also very good.

1. Soup- The tomato soup was really good! 2. Ingredients- Ingredients seemed to be of decent quality. 3. Pasta- Pasta was slightly overcooked and the sauce not so flavourful. 4. Pizza- The pizza was cooked well and the vegetarian pizza was decent although the salami pizza was below my expectations. 5. Dessert- The panna cotta was too thick and gelatinous and the tiramisu was too sweet for my taste and had lesser of a coffee flavor in it than I’d expect. 6. Our waiter was actually quite nice.

We received a very warm welcome and a delicious “greetings from the kitchen”. The bruscetta was the best we've ever had. Spaghetti Carbonara is available traditionally or with cream sauce as a more “German flavor”. We think the ingredients are high quality and the price is very fair. We are here on holiday - we would love to come back when we are in Hamburg.

Food was okay and came quickly. Unfortunately (several hours after the last shower and with the sky now brightly blue) several liters of water poured over me from the umbrella at the neighboring table and I was soaking wet. No apology from the “service”, only comment: sitting outside is dangerous.
