Buon Giorno in Hamburg

Im Rahmen eines Abendessen hier eingekehrt. Da es noch recht früh war, gab es auch ohne Reservierung einen Tisch. Positiv zu bewerten ist, dass hier zwei Sorten Carbonara angeboten werden: einmal mit Sahnesauce und einmal als Klassiker. Ich hatte mich für die klassische Variante entschieden und muss sagen: das geht sicherlich besser. Preislich war das Gericht völlig in Ordnung (12 Euro).

Weiss beim besten Willen nicht wie dieses Restaurant 4,5 Punkte bekommt. Das Personal unfreundlich unmotiviert. Das Essen war nicht schlecht aber auch nicht mehr .

Waren eine Stunde vor Schließung da. Der Herr der uns empfing war so semifreundlich. (Sicherlich schon müde und k.o., wofür ich Verständnis habe, da ich selber 13 Jahre in der Gastro gearbeitet habe.) Der Service an sich war sehr schnell und reibungslos. Kaum gesessen, stand schon ein Körbchen mit einer Brotauswahl samt eines megaleckeren Knobi-Dips auf dem Tisch. Speisekarte und Getränke waren auch fix da. Das Essen kam nach der Bestellung auch megaschnell, allerdings mein Rumpsteak deutlich vor der Pizza meines Mannes. Mein Rumpsteak war leider extrem sehnig und ich habe einige, sehr große Stücke nicht essen können. Entgegenkommen, nach zweifacher Ansprache, lag leider bei NULL. Bei erster Erwähnung gab es ein:"Nicht gut." Bei zweiter:"Koch sagt: Normal, kann mal vorkommen." Wie gesagt, komme ich aus der Gastro und DAS war nicht normal und einfach ein extrem minderwertiges Stück Fleisch, was in der Form nichts auf dem Gastteller zu suchen hat. Solche Stellen schneidet man als gute Koch vorher raus. Naja, nun gab es aufgrund der leicht patzigen Reaktionen, ohne jedes Entgegenkommen kein Trinkgeld und wenn wir das nächste Mal in Hamburg sind, probieren wir es bei einem anderen Italiener.

Prima della mezza maratona di Amburgo avevamo bisogno di un tradizionale piatto di pasta con il pomodoro ed eccoci qui. Pasta cotta bene, porzioni abbondanti, servizio gentile. Prezzo giusto. La prossima volta speriamo di provare altre pietanze del menu.

Tripadvisor geraadpleegd en zo in dit restaurant terecht gekomen. We waren wat vroeg (17u00) en daardoor veel plaats. Op deze zonnige dag kozen we om buiten te zitten. Heerlijk gegeten, pizza tonno en tagliatelle met zalm en spinazie. Vriendelijke bediening. Prijs-kwaliteit zeker een aanrader.

Ristorante piccolo ma ben curato. Titolari gentili ed efficienti. La pasta e la carne che abbiamo mangiato erano buoni freschi e ben cotti. Vino al calice buono.

Went here based on the reviews from here, and man was I disappointed. This is the most overrated place ever. Had a pizza, and it was totally tasteless and the dough had no flavour, tasted like frozen pizza. To be honest, I had frozen pizza that have tasted better. There most be better choices in Hamburg. Stay away

Absolut zu empfehlen!!!Kleines uriges Restaurant, sehr gemütlich, Portionen sind echt ok von der Grösse u super lecker.Dazu auch im Gegensatz zu anderen Restaurant s ein guter Preis!Auch das Personal ist sehr nett!Am Ende gibt's noch auf Kosten des Hauses ein Schnäppsschen!

Ein Geheimtipp! Essen und Service einfach Top. Und preislich absolut bodenständig. Hier kann man nichts falsch machen. Als Degistiv wurden drei Flaschen zur Auswahl und Selbstbedienung einfach auf den Tisch gestellt! Dolce Vita…

Food was okay and came quickly. Unfortunately (several hours after the last shower and with the sky now brightly blue) several liters of water poured over me from the umbrella at the neighboring table and I was soaking wet. No apology from the “service”, only comment: sitting outside is dangerous.

When we arrived we were kindly informed that the kitchen would close in 45 minutes. The food would go quickly if we still wanted to stay. We decided to stay and received very friendly service. The food came very quickly and was very tasty. A recommended Italian.

The frozen rump steak was still ice cold inside. Bruschetta is a large pizza dough. The pizzas looked good.

We were in Hamburg for a scary tour and wanted to fortify ourselves beforehand, so we came across this great restaurant. Great ambience, fantastic service and the food was really very good. I recommend skipping the starter as the pizzas are huge. Thanks for the great food, keep it up.

Wow! A really typical Italian. You get fresh, very tasty oversized pizzas. You don't have to wait long for drinks and food. Price and performance is very great. Especially in this day and age. You can dine well here in an Italian atmosphere. Absolutely recommended!

Unfortunately the carbona is in no way fresh. Apparently kept warm in the pot for hours. Ordered Carbona and the plate was there within 30 seconds. Taste OK. This means that not everyone gets to eat at the same time. My friend was finished with the carbona when my pizza arrived. I had a bit of bad luck with that one. It tasted good. Only the whole topping slipped to one side and the other half was just covered with the sauce. The ambience is a kind of basement but it was still too dark for me.

We had a lot of fun, the food was excellent, the service was competent and funny and cheerful and friendly. It's a shame that we can't eat here anymore tomorrow. WE WILL BE BACK!!

My partner and I can't understand any of the positive reviews... we were in Hamburg for a weekend and were lured to this restaurant by the many good reviews. The food was an absolute delight! As a nice touch, bread (which could have been used to break a window) was put on the table. We also didn't get an answer when we asked what kind of seafood was on the pizza. We could have used the “rump steak” to re-sole our shoes. No idea if they tried to transfer fried potatoes or why were some of the potatoes burnt? At least the salad (which was the best part of the entire meal) remained uncluttered. The one slice of cucumber and ONE QUARTER of a small tomato could be clearly seen in the large mountain of iceberg lettuce. The spaghetti carbonara didn't taste like anything. In any case, I was no longer thirsty afterward, as watery as they were. The prices were also very high for the whole disaster... I wouldn't visit again even if I got the food for free. Please don't always be misled by good reviews. I've never had such a bad experience myself. So disappointing for such reviews and for a last evening in such a beautiful city, which we also wanted to have a nice time...

We searched on Google for an Italian restaurant nearby and came across "Buon Giorno". After we got there we were greeted warmly and quickly got a table without a reservation despite the restaurant being full. The portions were huge and tasted very good. The price-performance ratio was positive, which was more than surprising. We paid €41 for 2 people and were more than full. At the end there was schnapps on the house. Conclusion: If we are in Hamburg again, we would like to come back and recommend this restaurant to everyone who wants to eat good Italian cuisine.

Where do the good reviews come from? Bad salad, bad pizza, bad pasta and very high prices for everything... There was nothing but really nothing good or average. Based on the reviews, we thought it was an insider tip and we walked past at least 4 pizzerias for this place. Better leave this one alone...

Been here five times and absolutely been in seventh steak heaven five times with “Filetto di manzo alla Gorgonzola”, which includes a salad of potatoes and vegetables for €25 and is an excellent price. The pizzas look great here too but I always end up with this world class steak! If you're looking for a place to go on a date or have a nice family meal, you won't be disappointed here! PS: Bread with herb butter is included as a starter and is of top quality!

The pizza looked crispy at first, but unfortunately it wasn't that tasty. An ordinary pizza that is edible. Ambiance was okay. Unfortunately a bit tight. When it gets crowded, it's a little cozy. Service was OK. Maybe there will be a chance for me to try the pasta soon.

A hidden wonder in downtown Hamburg. The pizzeria, which is located in the basement of a house, can be reached via U Ban (U3-Stadthausbrücke). The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and has an attentive and friendly staff. Pizza and pasta are enjoyed by young and old alike… Definitely a recommendation!

I was at Buon Giorno late in the evening and was really impressed. A little out of the way but still centrally located, you can get really good and fresh Italian food here. The service is top and the price-performance ratio is optimal. Finally, I really liked the atmosphere. A small, typical Italian!!! Really recommended!

Per necessità siamo entrati in questo locale che, forse, in passato, era un ristorante italiano. Di italiano, oggi, resta ben poco. Pizzeria: da apprezzare l’impegno, ma la strada è ancora molto lunga. Non mi sento di consigliarlo.

Ich habe meinen Geburtstag mit der Familie gefeiert. Tisch reserviert, war vorbereitet, das Lokal an einem Freitagabend komplett belegt, manche Tische mehrmals während unseres Aufenthaltes. Der Service war perfekt, wie in Italien. Alle Speisen sehr schön angerichtet und schmackhaft. Wir hatten eine gemeinsame Vorspeisenplatte (molto gustoso!) und jeder eine andere Hauptspeise. Ganz großartige Küche! Am Ende stellte der Cameriere 5 Gläser und 3 Flaschen auf den Tisch und meinte, bedient euch. Also wenn wir wieder in HH sind, dann müssen wir wieder ins Buon Giorno!

The food was okay but nothing special

Wir waren gestern in dem sehr unscheinbar wirkenden, tollen Restaurant. Die Situation mit unserem Vorredner haben wir mitbekommen. Da wir die Gespräche, weil wir direkt neben an saßen, mitbekommen haben, habe ich mich entschlossen, hier zu bewerten. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen, trotzdem wir keine Reservierung hatten. Wir waren mit zwei Kindern dort. Der Inhaber hat dem besagten Tisch mit der 1-Sterne Bewertung mindestens dreimal gesagt, dass sie trotz ausgebuchten Restaurant willkommen seien und sich keine Sorgen machen bräuchten. Die Dame des Problemtisches fühlte sich meines Erachtens nach persönlich angegriffen, und ergriff schlussendlich die Flucht. Im Anschluss hat sich der Inhaber bei allen Tischen im gesamten Restaurant für die unangenehme Situation entschuldigt. Wir konnten keine Schuld auf Seiten des Restaurants feststellen, da die Mitarbeiter nur versuchten, die Situation für sich klarzustellen, da es im Reservierungsbuch wohl zu Problemen gekommen war. Wir empfehlen dieses Restaurant uneingeschränkt weiter und für unseren nächsten Besuch in Hamburg ist ein Besuch Pflicht. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Wir konnten sogar die nicht geschaffte Pizza mitnehmen.

Leider unerwünscht, trotz Reservierung.... Wir hatten telefonisch einen Tisch reserviert, konnten den Telefonanruf nachweisen und uns wurde gesagt wir hätten nicht reserviert, man könnte ja über all anrufen... Wir sassen schon am Platz und der Kellner fing eine Diskusion vor unserem Kind an.... Unmöglich...... Essen können wir nicht bewerten....

Sehr leckeres Essen, wir hatten einen Salat als Vorspeise und als Hauptgang gab es für mich eine Pizza und für meinen Mann Pasta. Die Pizza ist aus einem sehr leckeren Teig mit super leckeren Zutaten gemacht. Die Pasta war frisch und ebenfalls sehr, sehr lecker. Definitiv würde ich wieder dorthin gehen. Freundliche Bedienung und nettes Ambiente.

We came here Saturday evening without a reservation and the place was very busy ( a good sign) the staff were lovely and despite them being fully booked they found a table for us. The food was amazing, served quickly, hot and very tasty. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant.

While looking for a restaurant for the evening, we came across Buon Giorno not far from our accommodation. The restaurant is located in an old vaulted cellar. It's not very big, but we got a table for two even without a reservation. In addition to the standard menu, there is also a large table on which several seasonal dishes are offered. First there was bread with herb quark. For the main course we had pizza and beef fillet in Gorgonzola sauce. We left Buon Giorno satisfied.

Rigtig lækker pizza! Bunden var ikke helt tynd, men det gjorde ikke noget. Da vi ikke kunne spise op, blev vi tilbudt at få resten med hjem.

Ein echter Italiener! Empfang am Eingang, höflich, freundlich, italienisch. Das Ristorante liegt im Keller. Treppe etwas steil nach unten, und wieder hoch. Für Menschen mit Geheinschränkung leider nicht so gut geeignet. Die Räumlichkeiten sind angenehm lichtgedämmt und einladend. Echte Kerzen auf den Tischen, die überall schon brennen. Es sollte reserviert werden aber wir wurden auch ohne einem ruhigen Platz zugewiesen. Es gab dann die Speisekarte und geröstetet Brot. Es gibt Salate, Fisch, Fleisch, Pizza, Pasta und mehr! Wein, Bier... Wir hatten Pizza. Perfetto! Groß, dünner Boden, knuspriger Rand, lecker belegt. Originale come in Italia! Dazu Vino rosso d'Avola. Hmmmmmmmm! Preis/Leistung einwandfrei. Molto gustoso e consigliato. Und das ist nicht einmal übertrieben. So einfach aber so traditionell und lecker. Wir waren begeistert.

Ein kleines aber feines Restaurant in der Nähe vom Michel. Auf Grund der guten Bewertungen wollten wir dort essen. Samstag um 17.45 war das Restaurant schon gut gefüllt. Wir hatten keine Reservierung, aber trotzdem haben sie noch einen Tisch für uns gefunden. Wir hatten kaum Platz genommen, da stand schon Brot mit leckerer Aioli auf dem Tisch, auch die Getränke wurden zügig serviert. Wir hatten Pizza (größer als der Teller) und Pasta mit viel Lachs. Alles sehr lecker und gar nicht teuer. Zum Abschluss gab es noch einen Gratis Absacker. Wir empfehlen das Buon Giorno sehr gerne weiter, es sollte unbedingt ein Tisch reserviert werden.

Wir hatten leider nicht reserviert. Dennoch wurde uns ein letztmöglicher Tisch, der eigentlich anderen Zwecken diente, freigeräumt und fertig gemacht. Obwohl das Restaurant extrem voll war, kamen sowohl Getränke als auch Essen sehr schnell. Hier hat man richtig gemerkt, dass die hier ihr Handwerk verstehen. Alle waren sehr aufmerksam. Das Essen war sehr lecker und mehr als ausreichend. Preis-Leistung bei der Menge und Qualität absolut in Ordnung. Am Ende bekamen wir 3 Flaschen Schnaps auf den Tisch gestellt, wovon wir uns selbst etwas aussuchen und einschenken konnten. Habe ich so auch noch nicht erlebt. Hat den Abschluss noch mal zu etwas besonderem gemacht. Alles in allem ein toller Besuch. Eine Reservierung kann ich aber nur empfehlen.

Gemütliches Restaurant mit 2 Seiten Pizza zu normalen Preisen.

Sehr leckeres Essen, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Obwohl schon alles reserviert war, haben sie sich Mühe gegeben einen Platz zu finden.
