Bunshu in Jena

Nice people. Process went smoothly.

The service is quite nice, but doesn't come several times to 1. clear the empty plates or 2. ask for further requests. The food looked appetizing, but was horrible. I had glass noodles, peanut sauce and spring rolls filled with shrimp. What did I get? A vegetable platter that was relatively appetizing, although the lettuce was pale. The glass noodles and spring rolls were so disgusting that I left everything. The glass noodles were too swollen and later stuck together into a mass. The spring rolls were fried (where did it say that?), half opened and filled with an unappetizing filling that wasn't shrimp and if it was, it was probably leftover shrimp. The peanut sauce was terribly bad and stank. The spring rolls were definitely frozen. The pasta was probably warmed up from the day before. Luckily this food was cheap, otherwise I would have had it returned. No recommendation from me! PS: See the pictures for yourself, if it's not enough then try it out ;)

I can only recommend it! I was there with a friend and we both got super large, delicious portions and very reasonably priced (I mean Udo noodle soup, she said sushi). They offer a wide variety of dishes and the atmosphere was nice. There is even a piano there that you can play. Very sweet.

Food is excellent, not run of the mill. Fast and friendly service. A highlight of our regular visit to Jena:)

Visited Jena today and discovered this delicious restaurant by chance. I have rarely eaten such delicious Asian food. Clear recommendation from us.

Cash payment only so it was extremely inconvenient for us who only wanted to have a nice hot meal and relax after a very long day, but ending up having to go find a geldautomat. The food was ok, but can be a lot better.

It is a very spacious place inside. I have only visited the place to buy "bubble tea" and I really liked it. It was difficult to order my drink because of communication with the employees, since they do not speak English. I will return to try their dishes.

That was nothing - very unfriendly, severe language deficiencies and an attempted fraud when paying. The food was rather below average in a construction site atmosphere. No card payment

The food there is super delicious. Sushi is very fresh and very diverse. Their own lemonades are also very good, with lots of fresh mint. Just a little sweet. We liked it very much.

I wanted to go and have bubble tea with the children, but unfortunately the waiter didn't understand us or only understood us very poorly. Had to show him the numbers. Then he also swapped some of the flavors around. Therefore only 3 stars. Unfortunately, there were thick lumps of jelly in a bubble tea, which limited our drinking pleasure so much that we had to return one. Plus point: there was little discussion about it. The others were actually tasty, but unfortunately only drunk with caution. Therefore only 3 stars because of the one mistake. The children definitely won't go there again. I would still try food there, it smelled delicious.

So you can definitely work on the ambience, nothing has really changed in the last few years, but the food is absolutely delicious, I can't complain, it's always tasted absolutely delicious so far.

Food was okay, only fish tasted more like water. Otherwise very nicely decorated etc and very friendly.

I don't know what it was, but it wasn't real Japanese sushi. But I don't want to complain because it was fresh and tasted better than from the supermarket. Service was nice. Ambience could have been brighter and friendlier. And I had to get extra money because payment was only possible in cash.

Went out for dinner spontaneously on Saturday evening. It was very tasty and we were full 😋. Friendly service, because we were allowed in despite the dog ☺️👌

Real silken tofu is used for cooking. The dishes are very well seasoned and the sushi is served with lots of vegetables. The house cocktails - both alcoholic and non-alcoholic - are also highly recommended!

Very tasty food and decent portion sizes. The ambience is a bit too dark for me personally.

Wirklich sehr lecker. Die Bedienung war leider irgendwie immer weg, wenn man sie gebraucht hat. Aber das Sushi ist wirklich sehr gut.

Hervorragendes Essen mit freundlicher Bedienung zum günstigen Preis. Udon Nudeln mit Tofu und Curry Soße ist mein persönlicher Favorit.

Sieht von Aussen und Innen nicht so aus, aber das Bunshu stellt die anderen vietnamesischen Restaurants geschmacklich ohne Probleme in den Schatten. Besondere Empfehlung > unter vietnamesische Gerichte: Reis+Tofu+Curry-Sauce

Das Personal ist stets freundlich, das Essen reichlich, lecker und bezahlbar. Wir gehen fast jede Woche einmal dort Essen. Einzig die Sauberkeit könnte besser sein. Tipp: Wenn es draußen kalt ist, dann lieber nach hinten um die Ecke setzen, dort zieht es nicht, wenn sich die grpßen Flügeltüren öffnen.

Very good food at very decent prices. Big portions and nicely presented. One of my must-go every time I come to Jena.

Kurze Wartezeit, gutes Essen, große Portionen

Viel zu lange gewartet und unfreundliche Bedienung, schlechte Hygiene. Nur das Essen war gut.

Ich habe von einer Freundin diesen Tipp bekommen. Meegaaa lecker! Nichts auszusetzen! Volle Punktzahl. Riesen Auswahl. Sehr freundlich! Wir kommen gerne wieder !

Leckeres Sushi, mega nette Bedienung

Lecker und reichlich um richtig satt zu werden!

Ich finde hier alles was ich bisher gegessen habe total super! Alles! Allerdings habe ich bisschen nur veganes Sushi gegessen. Da allerdings alles was geht 😜 sehr lecker, sehr intensiv, sehr nachhaltig. Und natürlich sind alle sehr sehr nett (:

Das Essen ist wirklich gut, besser als bei anderen Ketten die ausm Boden sprießen. Natürlich gibt es hier keine standardisierte Einrichtung etc aber dafür ist es frischer u sogar günstig. Gerne esse ich die v4 da sehr viel Gemüse und Rohkost dabei ist. Die Betreiber sind echte Vietnamesen und sprechen daher eher mäßig deutsch. Das ist aber kein Problem, man findet das passende Essen wenn man die zugegebenermaßen nicht selbsterklärende Karte liest.

Ein lecker, probiert es einfach mal aus.

Super leckeres Sushi und traditionelles vietnamesisches Essen. Wir sind seit Eröffnung Stammgäste und sind immer wieder begeistert. Sehr netter zuvorkommender Service und das Essen ist klasse. Gerade wenn es recht ruhig ist, bekommt man das Essen wirklich super schnell an den Tisch. Man kann natürlich auch alles zum Mitnehmen bestellen. Wir lieben das frittierte Sushi! Auch die anderen Gerichte sind sehr hochwertig und reichlich. Bubble Tea to go gibt es auch. Die Preise sind total ok. Wir kommen immer gern wieder!

Das Essen ist mega lecker, die Bedienung sehr nett und zuvorkommend allerdings lässt die Sauberkeit etwas zu wünschen übrig.

I got take out so I didn't visit the actual store but it was delicious, the chicken was a bit dry though. The ones who brought it for me said it was kind of pricey. I already ate half of it when I took the picture haha

Bunshu hat das BESTE frittierte Sushi 🍣🤍 Das Lokal ist immer angenehm ruhig und sehr sauber. Das Essen wird immer absolut frisch zu bereitet. Die Bedienung ist super freundlich und man wird direkt begrüßt und herzlich empfangen. Preisleistung hervorragend! Kann ich nur jedem empfehlen 🤍🥢

Sushi schmeckt gut, jedoch die halbe Bestellung falsch eingepackt obwohl Nummern für die Bestellung definitiv gestimmt haben. Schade.

Service sehr nett. Essen hat mir auch super geschmeckt. Alles super.
