Bun‘s Streetfood in Hamburg

I chose the Bun with Korean fried chicken, delicious. The burger is made up of two nice slices of brioche, with two nice pieces of fried chicken. The doses are generous! The fries are also very good and crunchy.

Delicious food Super nice and fast service. Ambiance very cozy. My brother and I sat at our table long after dinner and didn't have the feeling at all that we finally had to leave. Highly recommended!

Very good shop. The portions are very good, you should be quite hungry. The buns are a little deceiving. They are very large, well filled and fill you up. The fries are very tasty. There is a good selection of different sauces for the fries. The service was very friendly, quick to help you and does a great job. The shop is an absolute recommendation, whether you eat it for breakfast or lunch.

A very nice restaurant in the Schanze. We were lucky that we didn't have to wait long. The line behind us was a little longer, but the staff managed to distribute people quickly. Since you can't make a reservation, you should bring some time with you. The outside area is relatively nicely designed. Personally, I find it a bit loud inside. Therefore I would recommend everyone to sit outside. The food was amazing, there was a good selection and there was something for each of us. We were also very impressed with the selection of drinks. Definitely worth recommending!

The store is very busy. I've never eaten anything like this in toast like this. But I found it very tasty and it fills you up!!! Price for the menu, i.e. burger, fries and drinks, was around €16

Been to Hamburg twice this year for a few days and ate there both times. Sat outside in the summer, inside in the fall. We really liked it both times. Price performance fits perfectly. Love love this place! Whenever im in hamburg i always make sure to visit this place for amazing sandwiches. They make them in brioche bread which is super fluffy yet toasted to perfection. Ingredients are of top quality & i can highly recommend the cheese burger & the fried chicken sandwich! Eats recommends!!

Nice service and the food went very quickly, which unfortunately affected the quality of the meat. Unfortunately it was a bit dry and it was clear that the meat had already been pre-fried.

Yes, what can I say. There was a queue in front of the entrance, even though everything on the beer benches on the right would have been free. Nobody really understood. When places finally became available, it happened relatively quickly. Placed order and waited for food. It took a relatively long time, but I can understand that given the high occupancy in the restaurant. The burger wasn't bad, but it didn't taste anything special either. The sauce covered everything and unfortunately the bread didn't come into its own at all. My side chicken had very little taste and the Oreo cheesecake wasn't anything special either. However, he looked very cool. Due to the external circumstances, I would refrain from visiting again.

Very good buns, generously topped with lots of delicious ingredients. Fries okay. Altogether a large portion at a good price. Service very attentive and quick. Unfortunately the kitchen closes at 10 p.m. and we had to leave at 10:30 p.m.

The buns are so delicious and the portion is big and makes you full! My personal favourite is the Korean chicken bun (in the photo). Service could be improved, the waiters sometimes look super bored and fidgety which is disturbing. Food wise: Highly recommended 👌

We discovered this spot through Tiktok and ended up being really glad we gave it a try. The service was super friendly, the menu has something to offer for everyone and the prices are very fair!! Absolute recommendation! Maybe bring some time because you have to wait for a seat.

Was there with a group of 4 people. The food is ok, but not worth the price - unfortunately. You pay €1.50 extra for a bit of dip, which is new to me. The bread was totally oily and the fries were probably frozen. The waitress lady seemed like she wasn't interested in her job at all and you could tell :/

The food was super delicious and I would only go to Hamburg again because of this delicious food. For dessert there was a delicious Oreo cake in the shape of a potted plant. Very creative. The food looks very good and it is.

The food was quite good. What I didn't like was the ambience. It was very loud at the front of the restaurant. We sat in the back room next to the toilets. I felt dark and cold. The wind blew in through the kitchen door. I would recommend making a reservation. We were there around half past three on Saturday. It was full and we had to wait.

Had to wait a long time only to get attitude. Yes, the thick slices of bread are a novelty, and the portions are large, but the burger patty is dry and the fries are comparable to any döner shop. In the burger-king-to-shiso-burger spectrum, it falls right in the middle; you can get better for the same money.

The restaurant isn't quite worth the hype. The waiting times until you are placed are very long. While eating you can cuddle with the table next to you because everything is very narrow. In addition, you have to wait about 40-60 minutes for your food and then leave the restaurant with a stomach ache.

Nice service, food was hot on the table in 10 minutes, nice atmosphere. Can recommend Korean Fried Send Bun. French fries sauces cost extra, but they are not run of the mill. The average age of the guests was very young due to the Insta & TikTok hype.

The food is really delicious, The restaurant is very modern and has a rather industrial interior. I would recommend making a reservation, otherwise there may be longer waiting times. (But this one is worth it!!)

The hospitality was non-existent. The waitress didn't come to the table. It took forever before we could order, so I got up and went to her. So when we were finally allowed to order, she didn't know the difference between vegan and gluten-free and couldn't tell which dishes were gluten-free. The first answer was: “No. Nothing is gluten free.” To be on the safe side, she whistled her colleague over so that she could explain to her that the tofu bowl had to be gluten-free. There was no “Hello” or “Did you enjoy it” either. She also slammed the drinks on the table as if she had a personal problem with us. Finally, we were allowed to transfer the food into to-go packaging ourselves. We just wondered what that was about. However, the food was very tasty - we can only praise the restaurant here! Service underground.

Food was great, and really good value for money!! The food did take a long time to come out and if you haven’t been before then the menu is via QR code on the table (they didn’t inform us). Apart from that all was really good!

This is my third time eating here and the food and homemade drinks are always delicious. Unfortunately this time the fries were old and tasteless, which was a bit disappointing. Apart from that everything was good as usual.

The ambience is not particularly unusual, but the food is very tasty. The concept is convincing and the “buns” are creatively put together. What I found unfortunate was that on two of my three visits so far it wasn't possible to pay by card.

I've eaten at this restaurant many times and the service has been terrible every time. But my last visit surpassed everything – in the most negative sense. We waited over half an hour for our food. Instead of finally getting our order, we were literally “shooed away” and seated at another table just because a larger group came in. No drink as an excuse for the wait, not even a simple apology. Nothing! This place is by far one of the worst I've ever experienced in terms of service. I sharpened the tone and emphasized the negative experience more. Since then I haven't recommended it to anyone!

Unfortunately a failure! I ordered the veggie tofu bun in vegan and expressly said that I wanted it in vegan. For me that means: don’t use dairy products or alternatives. I'm lactose intolerant and figured I could trust the staff here. After I ate the bun and left the restaurant, I suddenly felt very sick and had extreme stomach pain. Typical sign that dairy products have been used. I guess the cheddar (which apparently wasn't vegan cheese) had done me bad. For me it's a no go if you explicitly say that you want the vegan bun and that EVERYTHING is vegan. At least my companion had a better experience. The crispy chicken bun was apparently tasty and well portioned. Positive: good portions, the fries and the ambience. Negative: vegan was confused with vegetarian and waiting times were too long. Our order took a good 40 minutes to arrive. Price wise it's ok. We were there Saturday afternoon around 3/4 p.m. It is better to reserve.

Two brown haired young ladies were very rude, they didn't know how to talk to customers. We also waited for a place of four, but they let everyone in (I think out of provocation). They were also very disrespectful.

I have never experienced such bad service. Unfriendly and forgetful waitresses, waiting time far too long, fries were twice fried and atmosphere far too loud and uncomfortable. We were then forgotten and had to remind the waitress 3/4 times and constantly ask. We waited a total of almost 2 hours for food. You got a half-hearted apology and a single drink on the house, nothing more. The store has so much potential but is run disastrously. Never again. I don't think it's okay at all that you're having bad reviews deleted en masse and depriving people of their right to express their opinions. You can also simply accept the criticism and improve. Just waited an hour for a burger and fries, and I haven't had anything like that anywhere until today. The restaurant is otherwise nice but the staff was really poor at the time of my visit.

We waited 15 minutes to even order when there were 4 waiters walking around, it would be nice if they were more attentive. The service only came when called, although we tried to make contact with the waiters the time before.

I had dinner there with my girlfriend yesterday and I was very impressed. The service staff who work there were all super polite and accommodating. The food also tasted great, it didn't take long for the food to arrive, despite the fact that the restaurant had a lot of visitors at the time. The food was good but unfortunately I saw that one of the employees didn't wash his hands after going to the toilet. When I was paying, I expressed this as a criticism and was told “that could only be one colleague”. In other words, this hygiene problem of one employee is known and nothing is done about it. Super delicious food! The burger bun is two thick toasted slices, the meat is fried juicy and the burger sauce is simply great. There are also crispy fries (I can only recommend the honey mustard sauce). In addition to Fritz-Kola drinks, there are also really great homemade drinks.

We actually found out about it through TicToc and were there around 6 p.m. during the week, in beautiful weather. It was full. Almost all tables are already occupied. Since we wanted to take the food with us anyway, we were invited in in a very friendly manner. The order was ready quite quickly. I say, the buns are burger 2.0. Super tasty. Very tasteful. The buns are absolutely delicious and inexpensive, but I think it's a shame that all three times like me the service was very unfriendly and the waiting time was extremely long (over an hour). In addition, there is no card payment which is a negative point for me.

My girlfriend ate a tofu bowl today. During the meal we wondered why the lettuce leaves had black pieces on them (we thought the lettuce had simply not been washed). Became aware of the store via social media and tried it out today. Service was very friendly, the restaurant was well maintained, there were enough seats inside and outside. As soon as we sat down, the condition came and asked whether we would like to give normal cards to order or whether we would like to look at the menu using the QR code that is on every table. We took the normal cards, but also tried the QR code, it works perfectly. The food came quickly and was very good. The buns are awesome, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, sauce, great meat and bread first. The bread takes a burger to another level. The only shame was that the fries were unfortunately run-of-the-mill fries that were unfortunately too salty and had been in the deep fryer for a bit too long. If you switch to homemade or other, higher quality and thicker fries then it's perfect. The price would be a little over €37 for 2 people including a drink each. So there's nothing to complain about there either. All in all, recommended and we will definitely come back.

The food was really tasty and something new. I had the Korean Chicken Bun and also tried the Crispy Chicken Bun. Both were very good, but I would recommend the second one more because it wasn't as dry. Basically good food, would go again, you just need to work on making the bread juicier. Was served the wrong drink and the seats outside are a bit uncomfortable because they are on such an open street. Partitions might be an idea. Otherwise cool!
