I really loved the concept, and the sandwiches were delicious. I had the BBQ burger and cheese burger and both were absolutely perfect. The fries were spot on 👌🏻, and the sauces—especially the Truffle Mayo and Chili Cheese—were a standout!

Food so-so, service was a joke, atmosphere much too loud.

It was really delicious, although the sauce was expensive and we weren't warned that it was an extra charge, and then they didn't give us all the change, without even asking if we wanted to leave a tip.

I've never eaten so well in my life! Simply the perfect place to eat with friends or family.

The buns are simply amazing. There's something for every taste, and they're filling. I'm a regular here and have never been disappointed with the quality.

It was my first time eating here. We were seated quickly and our order was taken quickly. The wait times are unfortunately much, much, MUCH too long. I understand that it gets busy on weekends and you have to wait, and that's not a problem. But after we had to wait for 40-45 minutes and we asked, all they said was, "Your order is in, unfortunately it's taking a while today." Two tables that arrived AFTER us had already received their food! After we asked again after another 10 minutes, they just said, "I understand, sorry." When we then said to ask the kitchen again or leave now, our food suddenly arrived. If the waitress or the kitchen staff had forgotten our food, they should have just said so. We were the last ones and they didn't understand. But to make us wait so long and then to say, no, your food wasn't forgotten, after others had already finished theirs even though they arrived after us, is an absolute disgrace. We weren't even offered the possibility of getting the sauces or drinks on the house as an "apology." Absolutely rude and not recommended at all.

The dishes are delicious, a real treat.

Bun's Street Food is a definite recommendation! I don't really have any negative points. The shop is beautifully designed, including the outdoor area. The service is friendly and fast, and the food is truly exceptional. The sandwiches, which would be more accurately described as burgers, are very buttery, soft, and the meat is truly tender. The value for money is also excellent, as you'll definitely be more than full after one portion. This shop is always worth a visit.

We have been there several times now and we are more than satisfied every time ❗️❗️Food is sufficient and very tasty 😋

Mir wurde mehr Geld von meiner Kreditkarte abgebucht, als unsere Bestellung gekostet hat. Die Kellnerin hat auch diesen höheren, falschen Betrag als Summe der Zahlung genannt. Das halbe Brot, das ich eigentlich mit nach Hause nehmen wollte, hat sie auch ohne zu fragen schnell weggebracht. Auf meine Anfrage nach einem Kassenbon wurde geantwortet, dass dieser bereits entsorgt wurde. Die wollte mit keinen geben.Zum Glück hat eine Kollegin ihn noch gerettet. Zuhause habe ich das noch einmal überprüft, da der abgebuchte Betrag höher war als der Betrag auf dem Kassenbon. Es scheint mir ein unseriöser Laden zu sein. Schade! Nicht zu empfehlen.

Unfortunately, we waited over 40 minutes for our food. Only after we asked what was wrong with our food was we informed after five minutes that there had been an error... But people who arrived after us had already received their food.

Edit: Card payments also work, quality remains high, upgrade to 5 stars There's been enough reporting about the queues and card payments in this store, and everyone can be prepared for them. You should either get there first or wait a while. You inevitably have to bring cash. It annoys us too, so we don't go there that often. But when we do leave, it's always delicious. We've never had any problems with that. The price/performance ratio is also fantastic. By 2024, they should finally get card payments under control, or the tax office might come calling.

Delicious, well presented and good value for money, but the buns themselves didn't blow me away as street food.

It unfortunately took over 50 minutes for two Standard "Buns" menus, though we were happy with the food and drinks. When we asked to pay they had us wait another 20+ minutes... Not worth it unless it's not busy I guess?

I was at Buns recently and ordered a cocktail because I simply wanted a fruity drink. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware that cocktails there automatically contain alcohol – I don't drink alcohol for personal reasons. When I realized this and politely asked for a replacement, the cocktail wasn't charged (which I thought was very fair – thank you!), but the way my request was handled was disappointing. Instead of understanding, I received only a curt "It's on the menu" – without any friendliness or consideration. Even though the menu distinguishes between "cocktail" and "mocktail," it's not immediately understandable for everyone. A symbol or sign would be helpful – especially in a restaurant that offers halal dishes and thus appeals to many guests from cultural/religious backgrounds. I'm not writing this feedback out of anger, but in the hope that service will be a little more sensitive in the future. A friendly tone often makes all the difference. The food was delicious, but unfortunately the service left a bad taste in our mouths.

I didn't find the cheeseburger tasty at all, and definitely don't order the burger sauce; it's the worst sauce I've ever ordered. Wait time was about 35 minutes; others got their food earlier than us, even though we had ordered earlier. I thought the Caesar bun was OK, though. Overall, I wouldn't come back. The outdoor benches are extremely uncomfortable; especially after waiting so long, I got back pain. Update: Two hours after eating, I felt sick.

They asked for ID, which was completely lax. Then the waitress tipped the wash bucket down my neck. The food was very good, but the service was poor.

Delicious food, the place was packed, which naturally led to a certain amount of noise, and you were seated close to others. The servers were always friendly. All in all, highly recommended.

I ordered it, which, by implication, means it must taste EVEN better in person. The meat was tender, the buns had a crust on the outside and were soft on the inside. The sauce was just right and the flavor was amazing. I'll definitely order it again while I'm here. 5/5

I had a great experience at Buns Streetfood! Although it was very busy, we only had to wait about 5-10 minutes, which is really okay for a Saturday afternoon. Our group consisted of 7 people, and everyone received friendly and prompt service. I personally had a BBQ bun, which was really delicious, especially with the fries and burger sauce – it tasted really good! The portions aren't huge, but they're definitely enough to fill you up. The staff was super friendly and attentive, which made the visit even more enjoyable. It was clean and easy to get to. The prices are reasonable. Overall, I highly recommend Buns Streetfood and will definitely be back!

We had the cheeseburger and the crispy chicken bun. Both buns were delicious and kept us full for a long time. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the Schanze district!

The food, the burger, was very tasty, as were the fries and sauces.

The food was beautifully presented, and the shop was also nicely decorated. The portions were filling, and the price was reasonable. Still, I think the shop is a bit overhyped. The buns were quite wide, which made them a bit uncomfortable to eat, and the taste wasn't particularly special either. Overall, though, I still thought it was pretty good.

The food was amazing! Super crunchy buns, fresh ingredients, and amazing flavor. The fries were really good too. Only the waitress was unfriendly. Not everyone at our table had a cell phone to read the exclusively digital QR code menu. I think it's a shame when you immediately become rude because they repeatedly ask you what sauces they have, then just tap away on your phone and clear your plates away even though you're still halfway through eating. Despite the unpleasant atmosphere, the food was highly recommended.

We ordered cheeseburgers, but unfortunately they were quite dry and overcooked. The French fries were also a bit burnt at first, but when we asked for a replacement, the staff were kind and promptly brought us a fresh batch. We appreciated their friendly response!

Nice atmosphere. It was very good. We had the crispy chicken burger, which was delicious and crispy. The homemade drinks are also really good. They have a very good dessert: an Oreo cheesecake served in a flower pot with scoops. We love it and will definitely go again. Everyone reading this should go there; it's very good.

We discovered these burgers on Instagram, and it was definitely worth the visit. The service was very fast, and the burger was truly delicious. The only thing that didn't blow us away was the iced tea.

We ordered two different burgers with fries for delivery. The packaging was attractively designed, and the food itself was also beautifully presented. Despite the delivery, the fries were very crispy, well-seasoned, and showed no loss of quality, which is truly rare. Both burgers were very tasty and had noticeably different flavors, each unique in its own right. The sauces and toppings complemented each burger perfectly. The bread was golden brown, crispy on the outside, and nice and soft on the inside. The lettuce in the burger was crisp and fresh. I really can't fault it. The delivery itself took about half an hour in total, but our order wasn't accepted until 20 minutes after placing it. It was probably busy there. Nevertheless, the food arrived hot and fresh. Overall: highly recommended!

It's always incredibly crowded; we were really lucky to get a table. There's seating inside and outside. The food was truly delicious and highly recommended. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the coleslaw; it tasted like banana and fruit dwarf (?!). The service was really good, even though it was so busy and hectic.

I've been here so many times, and love the food here. Always have to wait outside in the queue, sometime way long, but it's really worth it if you have patience. But once you are inside, the service is very quick. Most importantly it's Halal too.

Bun's is a great place to satisfy a small appetite. It's a good location, has attentive and very polite service, and is delicious. However, it's not particularly filling. I was hungry again after two hours and could have eaten a normal meal. But, as I said, it's a good snack for a small appetite.

The food was pretty good overall but the bad employee named Sara made it worse. I went into the store 5 times and had to remind this unreliable worker to make my food. She played it off alongside her colleagues as if I hadn't been to the store more than once etc. Buns really needs to work on the service. It's understandable when there's a lot to do and they lose track of things, but not such disrespectful behavior... THAT'S UNACCEPTABLE!!! The food was delicious though 🤗

Unfortunately, it's declined considerably. I've been there several times over the past three years and have also ordered takeout. The chicken is usually undercooked, and the bread is too crispy and too small, so everything falls out of the bun. Basically, a cool idea and alternative to the typical burger, but relatively expensive for me.

A restaurant with a lot of young people in Hamburg Altona, but totally hip, with an outside terrace, friendly staff and very tasty food, which also requires a bit of a wait, but it's worth it

The burger bread was a kind of toasted brioche, it was very tasty and something different. The Korean Chicken Burger had a delicious spiciness. You definitely have to have enough time, you have to expect a waiting time from 4/5 p.m. (at least on a Saturday) I can definitely recommend the sweet potato fries, but the regular fries didn't blow us away. The food we ordered came within 10 minutes.

Tried it myself after several videos on Tiktok. The buns are awesome. Customer requests are implemented promptly and the drinks, in my case the detox, were a real enrichment. Staff super friendly. If I could give more than 5 stars I would give 20. Thank you very much for the new experience.

Food was great, really something different, service could be better. Despite reservations and empty tables, we had to wait almost 20 minutes...that could have been solved better because our reservation had already been confirmed and could be prepared.

My girlfriend and I went there twice, and both times we were completely disappointed. The first time, we had to wait in line for 40 minutes (of course, a short wait is fine, but not when you're third in line). When we were finally shown to our table, it and the chairs were still completely dirty and covered in crumbs. After we let them know, they cleaned it. My girlfriend's food was completely burnt/scorched, and there was a hair in the middle of the bun. It's definitely not hygienic. When we decided to give this place a second chance, we were, as already mentioned, completely disappointed for the second time. At first, everything was fine, and we thought the place wasn't so bad after all. However, when we got the bill at the end, we were a bit shocked. We were charged €1 for mayo. When we asked the waitress why they had added mayo to our bill, she snapped back at us, saying that it said online that mayo costs extra. When we ordered, when we were asked if we wanted sauce, we asked three times whether it wouldn't cost extra. Each time, we were told, "No, it's included." Later, when we got the bill, the waitress added that the waitress we'd ordered from was new and didn't know. There was no apology, nothing. Just a snarl. We paid in the end, of course, but that was truly the very last time we'll be there! Never again!

Employees are not informed enough. We were told by a waitress that there were no additional costs, which looked completely different when it came to the bill. When we asked her about it, all she said was that it was new and that it would be online, even though we asked at least 3 times at the beginning, we had to pay the full price, which is absolutely not possible. Went there twice and were completely disappointed for the second time. The waitress we asked about the problem then blamed us and didn't apologize once!

Great concept and perfectly implemented with a very nice restaurant, very friendly service and really good food. The buns all tasted very good. There were five of us and we had different buns. All of them tasted great and were extremely well prepared. The sauces, including those with the fries, also tasted really great. The cheesecake was a great ending. I knew the flower pot version from another restaurant and always find it funny. This was a bit dry from the Oreo crunch but really tasty. All in all very good. Here you can enjoy great food inside or outside. Great

Delicious burger with semi-dedicated service, you can go there if you are a tourist in Hamburg, I would rather go to other burger restaurants a second time!

My eleven-year-old son was supposed to look for a food spot for our stay in Hamburg... he did that and we ended up at Bun's. And I have to say it was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. A bun is very similar to a burger, but it is not. The bread goes really well. The rest also fit together really well. We will come back and in the meantime definitely recommend Buns!

I come from Berlin and I really liked the food and the shop itself. The buns with fries and dips were extremely good. Unfortunately I was a bit shocked by the price and therefore very good 4 stars.

I'm visiting my brother in Hamburg. I recently discovered a post from Bun's Streetfood on Instagram. Curiosity was great, so we were there today to test it. We liked the location right from the start...and a very nice, friendly waitress named Zeynep gave us good advice in all... In all of them I can say the food was delicious😋 And people it's worth it I can only recommend it thumbs up 👍👍👍👍👍

Food was very, very tasty. The salad with chicken is recommended, but the "normal" burgers are also incredibly tasty and served with a lot of love. It just looks tasty. Even the fries taste good. All in all, highly recommended.
