very tasty food! Staff very friendly, portions are huge, prices more than fair, food was prepared very quickly. Gladly again.

The Crispy Chicken and the Spicy Korean Chicken Bun are recommended. The brioche is slightly sweet, but fits perfectly. The ice teas were a bit too sweet for me.

The food was a 10/10 but only because I set my Korean buns on fire and I had to put it out with my fritz limo honeydew melon and then I got a new buns gift, thanks for that, it was very tasty and learn from it, keep your distance from the candles

We ate there as a family and absolutely loved it! The cheeseburger, crispy chicken bun and Caesar bun were incredibly tasty – fresh, juicy and tasted great. Particularly noteworthy are the homemade sauces, especially the truffle mayo. The iced tea was also super refreshing and delicious. Since the restaurant was busy, we had to wait outside for a while, but it was definitely worth it. The service was very friendly and helpful, which made the stay even more pleasant. An absolutely recommended shop – we always like to come back!

Food was very good. The price is okay, but the ambience is a bit poor because the tables are far too close together. Feels like you're eating out with strangers. I would also replace these metal bowls in which the food is brought to the table, as they are a bit reminiscent of a dog bowl 😂 Just a suggestion for improvement is just a small thing.

Buns – A burger experience in a class of its own Today I was at Buns and tried the BBQ bun with fries – and what can I say? Awesome shit! The burger was just perfect: a juicy beef patty, melted cheddar, caramelized onions, fresh romaine lettuce, tomato, BBQ sauce and mayo. The combination was a real treat, and the fries that came with it were nice and crispy. The quality of the ingredients and the preparation convinced me - burger love is lived here! The buns are delicious! In my opinion, the portion of fries that came with it is a bit too small. Especially if you charge extra for sweet potato fries and then the portion becomes smaller. We couldn't order a patty from the “Bun's Upgrade” category because we didn't have a bun with beef, but with chicken. We explained to the waitress that I have an intolerance to bread and fried things. However, she told me that I should order the chicken pieces separately. Which are of course also fried. It's a shame there's no guacamole... after paying we had to ask twice for our to-go box because we were forgotten. At first glance the ambience looks clean and tidy. In terms of style, it totally fits the location. However, the toilets are really not accessible.

I liked it very much, fair price-performance ratio and really a generous portion. Fast and friendly employees. Only when I asked to pay by card and, in my opinion, was asked quite briskly if I had it in cash, was it a bit of a setback. Otherwise highly recommended.

There is a really long wait and even if you have a reservation you have to wait longer, but once you were in it was pretty quick until the food was there. The service was pretty bad and our food was literally thrown on the table or more likely dropped. In general, the service staff seemed overwhelmed.

It was very cozy, we were there on a Friday evening and you didn't have to make a reservation. We came and got a place straight away. The food was delicious and prepared quickly. The portions were reasonably priced and very filling.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our visit to this restaurant. The buns tasted okay, but the service was disorganized and unsatisfactory. We waited a total of an hour for our food. First outside and then at the table. Meanwhile, we saw that at least five other people who came after us had received, eaten and even paid for their food before us. When we asked whether they might have forgotten us, the waitress replied that everyone orders something different. And this despite the fact that some of the others had also ordered chicken buns - just like us (2 people). What was particularly disappointing was that no one from the staff came up to us to explain the long wait or apologize. A simple “Your food takes a while, sorry” would have made a big difference. When we finally got our food, our cutlery was missing. Additionally, the smell at the tables near the toilets was extremely unpleasant, which made the entire experience even more unpleasant. All in all: The taste was okay, but the service and organization were a disaster. You can't treat your guests like that. We're definitely not coming back.

A street food spot where stomach problems are inevitable: flies fly around the restaurant, the food tastes like it just fell into the deep fryer, and the service is slow and unfriendly. Absolutely overrated and definitely not worth the price.

Food was great. The atmosphere is ok, everything is a bit older. However, the more crowded the store, the louder it becomes. Sometimes you almost had to shout to have a conversation. The buns were very tasty and as expected. The fries were surprisingly exceptionally good too. Unfortunately the service was bad. We were there on Friday at 3 p.m. and called 2 hours in advance to make a reservation. We were told that there was no need to make a reservation at this time as there wasn't much going on. When we arrived we stood in line for about 15-20 minutes and had to wait in the cold because the store was completely full.

The food is nothing special and since it can get full, you have the feeling that you are processed quickly.

First of all, we were warmly welcomed. The restaurant was busy and we waited about 5 minutes until we could be seated. You can access the maps using a Qr code on your cell phone and it works really well. The staff was very friendly and very attentive. Now let's get to the food. The buns were delicious, unfortunately the bread was a little dry but the chicken was very tasty.

What do you expect from a restaurant that calls itself street food? A 5 star restaurant? Here you get exactly what you expect: fresh, delicious dishes in a relaxed atmosphere. On my first visit I had the cheeseburger bun – an absolute highlight. The two times after that I enjoyed the Korean Chicken Bun and it impressed me every time. The fries that I ordered extra were already too much, as the portions of the buns are completely sufficient. We would definitely like to come back!

I can absolutely recommend Bun’s. The price/performance ratio is great, the food tastes great and even if you think at first glance that the portion is small, you will be full even if you are very hungry. The cocktail prices are also very fair and the Gin Basil tasted good. We didn't try any other cocktails. Top spot for relaxed dining and a good change from a classic burger or sandwich.

We went to Bun’s Streetfood yesterday and I was really impressed! The burgers were super tasty – well seasoned and freshly prepared. Plus, because of your shape, you were very easy to eat. I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the price-performance ratio: for the price you get a more than sufficient portion, even if it doesn't seem large at first glance. It was really filling and absolutely delicious. The homemade sauces also went very well with the fries and the burger – simply great! However, I recommend calling and making a reservation in advance, as waiting times are inevitable on site. I can definitely recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely overrated. I have no idea why there is always such a long line. It's like an average burger with brioche slices instead of other buns...you have to pay extra for the sauce on the fries. Ambience also completely boring and average. Luckily my friend invited me, otherwise I would be even more disappointed.

Driven by hunger, we decided on the buns today. Visited and recommended by friends. The first impression was positive. Young people and bare walls decorated the location. Tables were small and the chairs weren't all upholstered. The order went quickly and was taken into consideration. The menu is quite clear. Regarding the buns: the bread was too voluminous for me and could have been flatter to show off the contents more. I had ordered extra side dishes but I couldn't taste them. In terms of taste, it lacked spice. It didn't taste bad but it was missing something. The portion of vegetables in the bun was quite restrained. Sweet potatoes were light but not completely crispy. The golden coating with bite was missing. It was good that they weren't oily. When we got the bill we had to belch angrily. Price performance didn't match. Drinks weren't even included in the price... A lot was charged for side dishes that you get included. E.g. sauce and small extra sausages... Worth an experience but not recommended at all in terms of price. With that amount or less we have visited better places in the past.

Bun's Streetfood completely meets expectations! The buns themselves are served with a small portion of fries on the side. The accompanying sauces are charged extra. The service was quick and friendly and the two of us were able to get a seat at short notice despite the restaurant being full. The restaurant was rustically furnished. We paid €18 per person for a bun and a soft drink.

Nice restaurant in the Schanze. We went spontaneously at lunchtime and got a seat without any problem. You can sit well inside and outside too. The restaurant is easy to reach by public transport and on foot, but it's not easy to park because it's right in the city. The buns were very tasty, but too much for us and difficult to eat, but that's probably part of it ☺️ 🥪 You can definitely try it out ✨👍🏼

Super fast service, impeccable, friendly waiters, very tasty food. Both the Caesar salad bun and the chicken bowl were incredibly tasty. The truffle mayonnaise is definitely recommended with the fries. Can only be recommended... Don't forget the “flower pot” as dessert, it's super tasty and fun to look at.

The shop itself has a very cozy atmosphere, but the tables are very close together, which means that some guests have to get up so that others can get to their seats.

Very juicy burgers and fatty bread

We tried Korean chicken and crispy chicken. Both were amazing, portions are huge. Be careful about this when you want to order something extra :) The employees are very friendly and sincere. Even though our hotel was far away, we wanted to try it, we did not regret it at all. If you want to try the oreo dessert after the meal, it is a very light and delicious dessert. We definitely recommend it.

A very nice restaurant in the Schanze. We were lucky that we didn't have to wait long. The line behind us was a little longer, but the staff managed to distribute people quickly. Since you can't make a reservation, you should bring some time with you. The outside area is relatively nicely designed. Personally, I find it a bit loud inside. Therefore I would recommend everyone to sit outside. The food was amazing, there was a good selection and there was something for each of us. We were also very impressed with the selection of drinks. Been to Hamburg twice this year for a few days and ate there both times. Sat outside in the summer, inside in the fall. We really liked it both times. Price performance fits perfectly. Love love this place! Whenever im in hamburg i always make sure to visit this place for amazing sandwiches. They make them in brioche bread which is super fluffy yet toasted to perfection. Ingredients are of top quality & i can highly recommend the cheese burger & the fried chicken sandwich! Eats recommends!!

Yes, what can I say. There was a queue in front of the entrance, even though everything on the beer benches on the right would have been free. Nobody really understood. When places finally became available, it happened relatively quickly. Placed order and waited for food. It took a relatively long time, but I can understand that given the high occupancy in the restaurant. The burger wasn't bad, but it didn't taste anything special either. The sauce covered everything and unfortunately the bread didn't come into its own at all. My side chicken had very little taste and the Oreo cheesecake wasn't anything special either. However, he looked very cool. Due to the external circumstances, I would refrain from visiting again.

The buns are so delicious and the portion is big and makes you full! My personal favourite is the Korean chicken bun (in the photo). Service could be improved, the waiters sometimes look super bored and fidgety which is disturbing. Food wise: Highly recommended 👌

The food was super delicious and I would only go to Hamburg again because of this delicious food. For dessert there was a delicious Oreo cake in the shape of a potted plant. Very creative. The food looks very good and it is.
