Brüdigams in Hamburg

I have to say, the food was really delicious and very good. The portions are also generous, so you'll feel full. What I don't understand at all is that you're allowed to visit this restaurant with dogs. As someone who's allergic to dog hair, that's a no-go, and when these animals shake themselves in the restaurant, it's also unappetizing.

I was at Brüdigams on Friday – and we were absolutely thrilled! We chose the 3-course menu and opted for the Wiener Schnitzel as our main course. The food was outstanding – both the starter and dessert were perfect. Everything was rounded off by the recommended Lugana wine. Not to mention the service: everyone was incredibly friendly, and we were wonderfully looked after throughout the evening. Definitely a top-notch restaurant! Due to the high demand, I recommend making a reservation in advance. All in all, we haven't had such a wonderful evening in a long time. The ambiance was fantastic, and the restaurant was almost fully booked. We'll definitely be back!

We rented the entire restaurant for my birthday. It's ideal for about 40-45 people. During the planning stages, we had a very relaxed interaction with Laura Gsellmann. Thanks in part to her advice and ideas, it was a wonderful evening. The service staff were cheerful, very attentive, and looked after everyone perfectly. The menu delighted all our guests; a big thank you to the chefs! We highly recommend Brüdigams for larger celebrations!

Nothing seems forced – these are the people who love what they do. The menu? A culinary composition of the highest caliber. Each course was not only outstanding in taste, but also lovingly presented. You can taste the care that goes into the work here. We have rarely felt so completely at ease: especially in terms of both taste and human touch. Table reserved for a birthday There was no special table decoration. Service was quite attentive; after ordering drinks, they arrived promptly 5 times 👍 There was a long wait for the food we ordered (6 people). The food was served warm/hot, well presented, and something to look at. I found the food a bit salty, and the taste was okay. "The food isn't amazing," I have to say; I was expecting more. The wait for dessert also felt quite long. It tasted good and was very well presented. The price wasn't cheap. So far, a nice evening, cozy, with food and drinks.

For me, this is one of the best and therefore most underrated restaurants in the city. Good food is a basic requirement, though not a given – we've never been disappointed at Brüdigams. What's particularly impressive, however, is the outstanding service, which always makes every visit a personal experience.

A small, intimate restaurant with a very appealing menu. We had the summer menu, which is highly recommended. The beetroot soup was well-seasoned and beautifully presented. The fish of the day, cod with truffled polenta, was a dream. The pot roast was also incredibly tender and delicious. The service was attentive and friendly.

In angenehmer Atmosphäre haben wir hier in einer Freundesgruppe das 4-Gänge-Menu genossen. Auch mit einer größeren Gruppe sitzt man angenehm und fühlt sich nicht gestört. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam, immer wieder wird dezent Wein nachgeschenkt. Das Essen ist erstklassig, interessante Kompositionen mit akzentuierenden Komponenten führen zu einem runden Geschmackserlebnis. Für das Gebotene ist der Preis durchaus angemessen.

Culinary delights at the highest level. The menus are individual, taste intensive and perfectly balanced. The service was courteous and with a warm friendliness. When the food is served, there is a short statement. The location with a limited number of tables has a living room feel and invites you to linger. My absolute recommendation.

We were spotted outside and received a very warm welcome in the entrance area. The good first impression continued throughout the evening. Cozy atmosphere (a little more space at the neighboring tables would be the only point that could be noted) and a great wine recommendation that exactly suited our taste. Very tasty food, which more than lives up to the description on the website. The audience was also pleasantly mixed and together with the very friendly service staff and the first-name basis, it all contributed to a very nice evening. We'll definitely be back.

An extraordinary discovery! Very tasty dishes with a certain sophistication, friendly and quick staff and also child-friendly, which is unfortunately often not a given in this category. A nice little restaurant where we met as a group of 14 people to eat goose. The Christmas menu was announced in advance and the dishes were chosen. On the day itself, there was still flexibility to change your pre-selection. The food was very tasty and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Dogs are also welcome.

Came her for the summer tasting menu. Food was creative, well presented, and very tasty! Cocktails were also great. Only the wine-choice was just alright (I had a south african red wine I think?). Staff is very friendly, and we managed to grab a spot that someone else canceled on short notice. The outside terrace was comfy, if I recall correctly, blankets are provided in case it gets cold. Wheelchair accessible. Overall, even though it's on the more upscale/pricy side, the experience very much justifies the price, and we had a great evening here. Perfect for dates. We will be back!

After many visits with different menus, my verdict is clear: regional products are prepared with a lot of creativity, everything is very well balanced between the original taste of the vegetables and the combination and seasoning of the ingredients. Exciting and diverse flavors and textures, always caused by perfectly matching broths or sauces. Very consistent work on the substance of the creations. Independent ideas in which the innovations have the structure that defines the level of this culinary art. Very good wine advice and selection, especially from up-and-coming German winemakers. The service is attentive and competent, never intrusive but always extremely friendly and relaxed. The individual menu sequences are explained very well and are therefore easy to understand as part of the overall concept. The price for a 3-course meal of €44.50 is absolutely fair and astonishing: what is served here is not convenience food from the gastro wholesaler, but rather hand-crafted and elaborately produced food. We were there for a romantic meal for two, a great location for it. The restaurant is rather small, but the service is very friendly and positive. The tartare as a starter was a small highlight, spicy and well seasoned. Veal and fish were equally good, but couldn't quite keep up with the starter. Really successful evening for two!

Ein tolles Lokal mit superleckerem Essen und perfektem herzlichen Service! Ich habe im Brüdigams eine runden Geburtstag als geschlossene Veranstaltung gefeiert und es war von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute ein wunderbares, perfektes Erlebnis. Das Essen war toll, geschmacklich top, liebevoll angerichtet, frische Zutaten in superleckerer, zum Teil auch ausgefallener, aber nicht abgehobener Kombination, große Auswahl im Menü für die Gäste - ein echter Gaumenschmaus. Superleckere Weine zu vernünftigem Preis und tolle Beratung. Die Betreuung bei der Auswahl der Speisen, bei der Anordnung der Tische, bei der Auswahl der Weine war unglaublich nett und professionell - jeder Wunsch wurde erfüllt, umsichtig alles bedacht und kompetent umgesetzt. Von der Tischordnung über die Menükarten bis zur Blumendeko und dem Tisch für die Geschenke, einschließlich bereit gestellter Blumenvasen, alles wurde geduldig besprochen und war supernett umgesetzt. Man fühlt sich geradezu geliebt als Gast. Und erst der Service! So was habe ich bisher bei keiner anderen Veranstaltung und in keinem anderen Lokal erlebt: Professionell, schnell, umsichtig und vor allem: hinreißend nett. Kein Gast blieb unbemerkt, keiner musste auf Essen oder Trinken warten, immer wieder wurde nachgefragt, ob noch ein Wunsch offen ist - und das alles ohne aufdringlich oder unangenehm zu sein. Wirklich toll! Ganz großen Dank an das Brüdigams - ein wunderbares Lokal!

The colleagues also treat each other with great respect. Great team 💖 In the women's toilet (probably also in the men's toilet, but I wasn't there 😊) there is deodorant, hand cream, tampons. This may not be important to some people, I think they are just lovely details...

Nice reception, as the first guests we were able to freely choose our table for three. Service: Charming, attentive, unobtrusive. Cuisine: after a perfect entrecôte, tenderly braised beef shoulder and subsequent sorbet, we were full and happy, the Zweigelt "Sandstein" from Pfaffl played its part. With the crowd almost full, the atmosphere was pleasantly subdued, making it easy to have a good conversation. Our conclusion: highly recommended with an excellent price/performance ratio, a full house on a Thursday evening speaks for itself. Thank you everyone!

The food is ok but too expensive for the quality. Friendly staff, but I find it annoying when they explain to me in detail what I ordered when I'm being served. Guys, you are not a star restaurant where you “need” such nonsense. I'm certainly out of step with the times, but I would have been happy with a fish knife to go with the fish..

Update 01/27/24: The January menu was awesome, we again had a wine pairing that perfectly matched the dishes, the service is still absolutely great😊 we had such a lovely, relaxed, delicious evening at Brüdigams, we will definitely be back. Thank you to the entire team, you are great!! Table reserved for 7 p.m. We were allowed to choose whether we wanted to sit on the terrace or inside, so we decided to go inside. To start, we had a bottle of water and the aperitif of the month, a cassis spritz, which was nice and fruity and started the evening pleasantly together with the foccacia bread with tomato tapenade that was served as a kitchen greeting. We then decided on the 4-course menu with wine accompaniment. I have attached the menu with the wines. The goat's cheese roll was absolutely a poem, the chanterelle soup was delicious, but the taste of the mushroom wasn't quite good, but in combination with bread chips and asparagus pesto it still tasted good. The main course was divided into two dishes: beef (woman) and sea bream (man). Well cooked in itself and absolutely tasty, especially the horseradish mashed potatoes (mjam!) Since the red wine was a little stronger with the beef, the white wine was empty more quickly (question from the service: is there an imbalance here? I then tried the mixed set that the restaurant had with it made by an Austrian winemaker - very, very tasty) When it came to dessert, the paths split again: chocolate (woman) apricot dumplings (man) unfortunately the vanilla cream was still very starchy (possibly not boiled enough) as an apology I got a scoop of Jurgurt ice cream, which went excellent with it Dumplings harmonized. The chocolate malheur was a crowning finale. As a further apology we received a digestif on the house. A conclusion: The Brüdigams in Eimsbüttel is a gem, with good cuisine, good wine advice (together with Rindchens Weinkontor) and, above all, very competent, helpful and guest-oriented service. We would like to thank you for a great evening and look forward to the next delicious meal!

Wir waren gestern spontan Gäste und haben das weihnachtliche Menü gewählt. Das ganze Service Team war sehr aufmerksam und hat unsere Wünsche erfüllt. Das Menü war köstlich, die Teller immer sehr heiß. Vom Knödel und der Sauce haben wir uns minimal mehr versprochen, das aber auf hohem Niveau gemeckert. Wir sind Saucen Fetichisten ;-). Die Weine waren zauberhaft, eine Reise zur Mosel und zurück.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 11 Personen an einem Samstag Abend hier. Schon die Tischreservierung im Vorfeld klappte hervorragend. Mails wurden sehr schnell beantwortet. Der Service war außerordentlich freundlich und aufmerksam. Die verschiedenen Gerichte waren ganz hervorragend. Wir hatten insgesamt einen sehr schönen Abend im Brüdigams und werden bestimmt wiederkommen.

Wir haben einen ganz tollen Abend im Brüdigams verlebt. Alle Personen am Tisch haben das vegane Menü gewählt, das war gar kein Problem. Im Laufe des Abends wurde sich immer wieder rückversichert, wer von uns streng vegan oder nur vegetarisch isst, sodass alle Komponenten der Vor- und Nachspeise entsprechend abgestimmt werden konnten. Ganz aufmerksam und wirklich super! Wir waren alle sehr begeistert und würden wir in Hamburg wohnen, würden wir sicherlich immer wieder vorbei kommen!

Eines derbesten Restaurants in Hammburg. Der Service ist unglaublich: immer sufmerksam, freundlich, unaufdringlich - einfach richtig professionell. Das Essen ist modern, geschmackintensiv, überraschend und außergewöhnlich ohne zu übertreiben. Und mittlerweile besonders erwähnenswert: es ist eines von wenigen Restaurants in Hamburg, die noch keine Slots vergeben. Man muss also nicht nach 1,5 Stunden gehen. Ideal also auch für größere Gruppen. Unbedingt ausprobieren!

Wir waren letztens zum Schlemmersommer im Brüdigams. Die Speisen waren ausgezeichnet, die Weinbegleitung gut gewählt und passte gut zu den Speisen. Das Personal war auch noch sehr freundlich, absolut zu empfehlen.

Jeder meiner Freunde, dem ich das Restaurant empfohlen habe oder den ich mitgenommen habe, hat meine Meinung bestätigt. In Summe zitiere ich gerne einen Kollegen und sage: "Gladde Eins!"

Es war wieder einmal unfassbar zauberschön und unfassbar lecker! Warum ist es nur so selten möglich, so unglaublich herzlich bewirtet und versorgt zu werden???? Das ist einer von vielen Gründen, warum wir immer wieder dieses wundervolle Restaurant mit den köstlichen Speisen, aber auch einzigartig netten Menschen im Service aufsuchen und dort IMMER eine zauberhafte Zeit verleben.
