Broiler-Bar in Sassnitz

Wie zu Ost Zeiten aber im positiven Sinne schmeckt echt Hammer hatte 40 Jahre nicht mehr so ein leckeren Broiler

Meine Frau und ich waren letzte Woche für ein paar Tage in Sassnitz und haben die Broiler Bar besucht. Essen, Personal und vor Allem der schöne Außenbereich hat uns positiv beeindruckt. Toll fand ich auch, dass es 1/4 Portionen Broiler für den kleinen Hunger gab. Alles in Allem auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. 5 Sterne.

Wir waren insgesamt leider nicht ganz zufrieden. Die hausgemachten Limonaden wurden auf Nachfrage mit 0,4 l angegeben, serviert wurde jedoch lediglich ein 0,3-l-Glas. Das war enttäuschend. Positiv hervorzuheben ist, dass die Änderung unseres reservierten Tisches unkompliziert möglich war. Der obere Gastraum ist allerdings sehr eng bestuhlt, sodass man wenig Platz hat. Zudem wirkten die Tische durch verschüttete Getränke ungepflegt und klebrig. Die Portionen fielen für den aufgerufenen Preis zudem eher klein aus und hätten aus unserer Sicht etwas großzügiger sein können. Beim Service gab es einige sprachliche Barrieren, wodurch die Kommunikation teilweise erschwert wurde. Auf unsere Hinweise zu den Mängeln wurde leider überhaupt nicht reagiert. Außerdem wäre es wünschenswert, die Haltungsform des Broilers auf der Speisekarte transparent anzugeben. Auf Nachfrage wurde nicht geantwortet. Im Damen-WC fehlten zudem die Papierhandtücher, was für uns ein absolutes No-Go ist. Außerdem ist das Besteck leider auch nicht sauber gewesen! Insgesamt gibt es einige Punkte, bei denen mit wenig Aufwand eine deutliche Verbesserung möglich wäre. Schade, denn mit etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit für Sauberkeit, Service und Transparenz hätte der Besuch einen deutlich besseren Eindruck hinterlassen.

Es ist sehr schlecht das die Öffnungszeiten im Netz nicht mit den aktuellen Öffnungszeiten übereinstimmen schade das das nicht aktualisiert wurde

Leider war dass Essen nicht wirklich gewürzt, sehr trocken dennoch mal ein anderes Erlebnis und super freundliches Personal!

Wir waren heute zu viert dort gewesen Die Hähnchen waren sehr trocken und das Gemüse mehr als tot gekocht, es wirkte auch ehr nach fertig Soßen als frisch. Das Restaurant wirkte sehr urig und schon in die Jahre gekommen. Wir saßen an dem Tisch neben dem goldenen Trabi - er hat ab und zu sehr moderig und auch nach Benzin / Öl gerochen was beim Essen sehr unangenehm war. Im groben und Ganzen war es kein gelungener Besuch und preislich zu teuer für die Qualität. - Ein positiver Punkt war der nette Mann von der Bedienung er war stets höflich und zuvorkommend und hat uns auch netterweise was Glutenfreies zusammengestellt. Da bis auf krautsalat nichts glutenfreies auf der Karte steht. Dafür haben wir gerne Trinkgeld da gelassen.

Nicht meins…kann ich leider nicht empfehlen. Servicepersonal freundlich. Leider alle Gerichte mit Gluten. Schade. Bedienung hat mir eine Zusammenstellung aus Gemüse, Pommes und Hähnchenbrust angeboten. Ok. Leider Gemüse zerkocht, die Pommes waren warm, das Hähnchen trocken und das Essen war lieblos angerichtet. Ich hätte mir mehr Mühe gegeben. Auch Schade. Ausblick zum Hafen ist schön. Das Ambiente und WC haben Renovierung-Stau. Mein Fazit: Preis/Leistung ungenügend. Essen und Ambiente haben Raststätten Niveau.

Perfekt, leckeres Essen, haushemachte Limo, sehr nette Bedienung, schöner Ausblick, ich wüsste nichts, was man besser machen könnte.

Das Essen war lecker, das Personal freundlich, die Bestellung wurde schnell aufgenommen und serviert Gern wieder😊

Ich habe noch nie einen so verbruzelten/vertrockneten Broiler gegessen! Man hätte ihn eigentlich zurückgeben müssen. Das Ambiente und sitzen im Wintergarten-Teil ist ganz nett. Auch das Personal hat sich Mühe gegeben, leider war der Hünerhan halt schlecht gemacht, aber was kann das arme Tier dafür....

Auf eine Empfehlung hin heute am Herrentag einem Tisch reserviert. Dort angekommen dröhnte uns laute Musik entgegen. Im Restaurant saß ein Musiker der jedes Gespräch übertönte und eine normale Kommunikation unmöglich machte. Wir bekamen unseren Tisch und das genau vor dem weniger witzigen Musiker. Unser Essen war gut, Besteck fehlte..Man musste sich quasi anschreien um sich zu verständigen. So schnell haben wir noch nie gegessen. Sind direkt aufgestanden und nach vorn zum bezahlen. Dort sprachen wir die laute Musik an und den Musiker der mehr nervig als alles Andere war. Die Antwort:"man sei ja nicht für die Musik verantwortlich "... Verwunderung! Wir sollen doch den Musiker selbst ansprechen..und alles andere war doch gut! Überheblich, arrogant und null Verständnis. Das war unser erster und letzter Besuch in der Broiler Bar! Nie WIEDER!

Die Broiler Bar im Rügen Hotel präsentiert sich frisch renoviert und stilvoll dekoriert – unter anderem mit einem goldenen Trabant 601S. Der passt hervorragend, denn sowohl die Broiler Bar als auch der Trabant sind echtes DDR-Kulturgut. Auf der Speisekarte stehen Hähnchengerichte in vielen Variationen. Der Klassiker ist und bleibt jedoch der knusprige „Goldbroiler“. Das Team ist aufmerksam, freundlich und schnell, was den Besuch besonders angenehm macht. Uns hat es rundum gut gefallen – und geschmeckt hat es ebenfalls hervorragend. Die Broiler Bar ist täglich von 16 bis 21 Uhr geöffnet. Klare Empfehlung!

Herzlichen Dank für den aufmerksamen Service. Heute am 1.Mai gab es zusätzlich DDR Gerichte auf der Speisekarte. Es schmeckte sehr gut.

Ein lebhafter und angesagter Ort mit toller Atmosphäre. Er ist anfangs etwas schwer zu finden, da er sich in einem belebten Viertel befindet, aber die Suche lohnt sich. Insgesamt ein gutes Restaurant und ein schöner Ort zum Verweilen. Die Kellner sind freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Es gibt leider nur frittiertes (Pommes oder Kroketten) und eben den Broiler. Die Salate scheinen zugekauft. Dazu braucht man keinen Koch. Das Ambiente und der Service sind in Ordnung. Für mich ist es eher ein Fast Food Restaurant zu stolzen Preisen. Wir haben 30€ pro Person ausgegeben.

Coole Location, vor allem oben mit Blick aufs Wasser, die Broiler sind ordentlich groß und super gewürzt und nicht trocken. Also wer Hühnchen (nicht nur als Broiler) mag, ist hier genau richtig.

Toll gelungen! Wir sind positiv überrascht von diesem neuen modernen Ambiente! Die Broiler waren super zart, sehr gut gewürzt und knusprig. Die Pommes hatten genau die richtige Größe- nicht zu klein, sondern so, dass sie innen noch schön teigig waren und das beste- nicht fettig! Der Service von Reservierung bis SATT UND ZUFRIEDEN-war Service professionell, vielen Dank für diesen Abend! Preis-Leistung passt!

Wie schon seit vielen Jahren und auch nach dem Umbau kleine Karte aber sehr gute Gerichte. Das Personal ist flink, aufmerksam und freundlich.

Eine nette Kultgaststätte in ganz gutem Ambiente. Einzig ein Punkt abgezogen, für die doch recht hohen Preise bei den Hauptspeisen. Klar entstehen bei der Herstellung entsprechende Kosten, aber dies rechtfertigt nicht alles.

Nach der Restaurierung des Rügen- Hotels, hat auch die Broiler- Bar ein neues Ambiente. Bedienung und Essen sind sehr gut. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir hatten einen schönen Mädel- Abend in der Boiler -Bar mit tollem Essen und einer aufmerksamen Servicekraft. Ich hatte das Gericht Schweizer mit Speck und Käse , die anderen aßen Au four. Es war alles sehr schmackhaft und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Mal was anderes als Fisch sollte es sein. Goldbroiler mit Pommes und Krautsalat für mich und de Frau hatte Geflügelleber mit Krautsalat und Baguette. Sehr gut angerichtet kam das Essen mit Hilfe der Bedienung an den Tisch. Fotogen war es erst mal gut. Die Leber für de Frau war gut. Mein Broiler auch, er hätten mehr Temperatur haben können. Ketchup, Mayonnaise und Reinigungstücher waren am Tisch. Was gefehlt hat war Salz welches ich nachfordern musste. Geschmacklich war alles in Ordnung. Kommen gern wieder wenn‘s wieder mal nach Rügen geht. Also, bis dahin. 😊

Sehr aufmerksamer Service. Hatte einen Mosel-Wein, von dem ich wirklich enttäuscht war und dies der Servicekraft berichtet...Ihre Empfehlung war gut und der 1. Wein ging auf"s Haus...Dankeschön. Mein Essen war gut, vielleicht ein wenig zu durch (Geflügelleber gebraten), aber trotzdem schmackhaft (deswegen war ich hier), Sonderwünsche wurden gern beachtet. Da ich hier lebe und ab und zu dort hingehe, ein Update: Muss dazu sagen: es ist Wintersaison, d.h. eingeschränkter Service und unerfahrenes Personal (weil im Praktikum). Mein Abend hier war wirklich speziell, was den Service betrifft. Ein Praktikant (wie sich im persönlichen Kontakt herausstellte), brachte 2x falsche Speisen und 2x falsche Getränke...sowas hatte ich vorher noch nie erlebt, auch nicht in der Broiler-Bar. Das Essen, welches falsch geliefert wurde, war letzten Endes das Essen, welches ich haben wollte, nur mit Kroketten und über die trockene Leber gegebener Fertigsoße...sehr enttäuschend... Insgesamt war der Besuch der "Broiler-Bar mit Goldbroilern in allen Variationen" schon 2 mal nacheinander enttäuschend. Wird es zum Saison-Auftakt wieder besser werden??? Mir tut es leid, dass ich so eine Rezension posten muss

Die Broiler waren leider zu trocken weil einfach zu lange im Show-Ofen. Die Leber und der Rollbraten war gut. Der Salat hatte zu wenig Dressing. Leider ist durch die Erweiterung des Gastraumes der alte Bereich ungemütlich und insgesamt sehr laut. Wenn alles Mitte 2026 fertig ist wird es bestimmt besser. Service war gut. Die 2 Sterne sind für die Broiler.

How can you completely renovate a hotel from top to bottom and make it really chic, and then leave the Broiler Bar in the east end? Besides, they're too expensive and the food isn't great.

Delicious 🤤. The menu isn't too extensive. The food is tasty and served piping hot. The service is attentive, very friendly, and always up for a laugh. The price-performance ratio is reasonable. Highly recommended 😉

We were at the Broiler Bar the other day; we had also made a reservation online. There was a special offer where you could get broiler dishes for a discount if you made a reservation. The food tasted very good, no complaints there. We assumed our dish would cost €14 and some change according to the offer (we ordered two), but in the end, the bill came to around €40 instead of €30. I was surprised and asked (after seeing the offer) why the discount hadn't been applied. They said that we should have written it down when making the reservation. But how are we supposed to know that? It wasn't clear from the description of the offer – and it didn't make sense to us. The waiter said that it had to be calculated (when I asked why it had to be written down). ? That really annoyed me. And I don't understand it – I think if there's a special offer, it should apply to everyone, or at least under all conditions. I felt a bit cheated.

Almost nothing is possible without a reservation. The food was okay, but nothing special. Somewhat overpriced.

We visited the Broiler Bar three times during the week. The extension looks great after the renovation, and it's wonderful that the old charm of the lower level has been preserved. The food was very good. Unfortunately, the service was very poor the first two times. We ourselves work part-time in the service industry. Even if you don't like a guest, for whatever reason, you should still treat them politely (unless they are rude or intrusive). The server (wearing facial jewelry) barely looked at us and spoke only when necessary, in a cold and arrogant manner. The next day, we "unfortunately" had her again. We had to wait 20 minutes for our drinks. Guests who arrived after us were served more quickly by her. Later, we weren't asked if we wanted anything else, nor were we even seen off. She took the money and left. We didn't have a good feeling about it. Despite everything, we went back the day before our departure because we otherwise enjoyed the Broiler Bar. And that evening, we were served very politely and professionally by one of her colleagues. Everyone else there, even the very young employees, are very friendly. Perhaps that one lady should receive some further training. It's great that the Broiler Bar is still around.

We've been there twice within five days; it's become a wonderful institution. The food is absolutely fantastic, with a great selection and generous portions. Thanks to Mr. Köhne, who looked after us from the moment we entered in a very friendly, entertaining, and competent manner, yesterday was a very pleasant evening. We will definitely eat there again...

Very good and delicious food. I hardly ever eat anything different in restaurants, but it was worth trying something different. Drinks and food were brought promptly after ordering. Except for the drinks menu, the prices are excellent. Regarding the service, unfortunately, there's room for improvement. The friendly man who served us needed to listen more closely to what was being ordered. Two incorrect items arrived at our table. The mineral water was ordered sparkling, but it came still (I realized too late). I myself ordered 1/4 chicken and got 1/2 (unfortunately, I realized too late). Of course, I was charged for 1/2. That won't happen to me again. In general, the drink sizes on offer are a "joke." While they sell beer in 0.5 l, they only offer cola in 0.2 l (bottle). I ordered two straight away, but they poured it into a 0.5 l glass, so they couldn't verify the accuracy. Next time, please put the number of bottles on the table. Apart from the service blunders, we have excellent memories of this restaurant. We can definitely recommend it. But please speak to the staff again to make sure they write down the correct order. The ambiance is particularly great, and you can watch the chickens while they're grilling. It was very cozy. Reserving a table is recommended; it's very busy, and rightly so.

Unfortunately, the broiler wasn't cooked thoroughly, and the skin was still flabby and not big enough. What's actually worth complaining about is the lack of a handrail, two steps... Can this be fixed?

Unfortunately, a lot of potential is being wasted here. You used to be able to eat really well here, and at absolutely fair prices. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case today – the quality of the food is roughly at the same level, but the prices have skyrocketed to such an exorbitant level that they've significantly exceeded the threshold of proportionality. Price increases, some of which have risen almost 100%, are inexplicable, and paying €30 for half a broiler with fries and a drink is almost ridiculous. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend it.

We visited the Broiler Bar for the first time last night and were not disappointed. We had reserved a table and were given a very friendly welcome, including a table in the conservatory. Mr. Köhne not only served us attentively, but also looked after us in a friendly and appreciative manner. Our food was excellent. We will definitely be back on our next vacation.

Catastrophic and life-threatening!! The broiler was still raw on the inside, the skin was even completely white in places; it had probably only been cooked for 15 minutes at most. Food poisoning would have been guaranteed. Too bad, because I could have thrown away €60 worth of food. The coleslaw was shredded cabbage, without salt, vinegar, etc. There were four small mini croquettes, completely burnt... but a total of 43 ketchup and mayonnaise sachets. The lecho is from C&C, in a jar. Unfortunately, I ordered to-go, so I couldn't complain. By the way, the ambiance is still just as shabby after the renovation as it was before. And the Asian waitresses are barely understandable, just as they can't understand the customers.

We easily got a seat with a great view without a reservation. The service was fast and friendly, with a lighthearted regional sense of humor. Only a short wait between ordering and serving... The food was super delicious. (1/2 "classic" & 1/2 "Hungarian") The broiler was crispy and juicy, the fries were crispy on the outside, fluffy and well-seasoned on the inside, the lecsó was delicious like in the GDR days, and the coleslaw was fresh and crisp. The portions are a really good size, and if you can't finish everything, you can easily get a "chicken bag" brought to you ;) Highly recommended, we'll be back!

The evening at the Broiler Bar made our vacation perfect. The food was fantastic; you can taste the high quality, and the portions are more than ample. The excellent and extremely friendly service staff deserves special mention. Mr. Köhne gave us a very warm welcome and rounded off the evening with his relaxed and pleasant demeanor. I was very disappointed and don't understand all these reviews. The broiler wasn't crispy, it seemed like it had been eaten yesterday, and the price-performance ratio isn't good at all. Finally, the waitress can't do the math. The prices on the menu and the bill don't match. You should do the math. Never again

I can't understand these reviews. The food was far from the DDR broiler. It was served in jars, and the prices didn't match the menu. They charged more. The opening hours are terrible. Never again, very disappointing.

After the recent reviews, I was cautiously optimistic. But the internal discussions and new hires worked. We received a friendly welcome, and even though everything had been ordered, we were given two more seats. The staff is very attentive, and the food and drinks came quickly, even though the restaurant was busy. My only criticism would be the pricing of non-alcoholic drinks. They average €4.50 for just 0.2 liter drinks. If you don't know that and you're thirsty, you're wasting a lot of money. The food portions are a good size. Paying the bill with a card was no problem. I wish the restaurant many satisfied customers and that the people of Rügen will return. We would love to eat here again next year.

So if a waiter prefers to talk to customers instead of serving several customers and there are waiting times of up to half an hour until you can order your food then this condition is out of place

After being so disappointed with the service at PEAK, the Broiler Bar showed us what hospitality means. Despite the restaurant being extremely busy, every guest was warmly welcomed and seated. The star of the evening was definitely Mr. Köhne, with his truly friendly North German manner, simply brilliant. Courteous, funny, knows his restaurant and the menu, and is also very interested in the well-being of his guests. The food was incredibly delicious. The broiler was very tender and not dry, the chicken schnitzel was simply perfect, and the ice cream sundae that followed with two spoons was simply a dream. We rolled into the hotel feeling perfectly round and completely satisfied :-)

We were expecting a restaurant with "GDR charm" and were pleasantly surprised by the modern ambiance, delicious food, the view over the harbor and the Baltic Sea, and the remarkably friendly service from Mr. Köhne. Highly recommended.

Broiler restaurant at the Rügen Hotel is open despite construction work, service and food selection are reasonable, and prices are reasonable. September 25th again, today service was inattentive and unprofessional, prices increased, broiler was salty, and carrots were almost raw.

No, the food, two different ones, were oversalted and very dry. The cream sauce wasn't cream, but rather a ready-made sauce with a bad, salty taste. Chicken schnitzel from the deep fryer.

We received a warm welcome; we recommend reserving a table in advance, but we still managed to get a nice spot. The roast was delicious, and the price-performance ratio was absolutely perfect. We would also like to emphasize the very attentive and witty service provided by Mr. Köhne; all in all, a very pleasant evening.

During a recent trip, we were referred to the Broiler Bar in Sassnitz, which we were intrigued to try. It was an absolute hit! The chicken was perfectly juicy and perfectly seasoned! The selection of different preparations wasn't easy on a hungry stomach! H. Köhne's drink recommendations were also a highlight. It's a shame our stay was too short, but this experience is a reason to return!

Four of us went to the Broilerbar with our friends. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was plentiful, the broiler was tender, the fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and the raw vegetable salad was as delicious as it used to be. If you've worked up an appetite, reserve a table and enjoy. It's a bit more expensive, but with the good quality, it's definitely worth treating yourself. We highly recommend the Broilerbar. Many thanks to the kitchen and service team, and please keep up the good work!

Great atmosphere 👍 The food was also excellent, except for one half of the chicken that wasn't cooked 100%, hence a one-star deduction. Unfortunately, the waitress spilled a Coke from the tray and spilled it all over my mother. They apologized but didn't help clean it up. Unfortunately, there was no accommodating attitude either, hence a one-star deduction. A lovely restaurant with a great view.

We went to the Broilerbar after the SailGP. The fantastic day was perfectly rounded off with the delicious food and friendly service from Mr. Kühne and his colleagues. We highly recommend the location and the attentive service 👍 keep up the good work. I don't want to forget the musical accompaniment; it was a perfect fit.

A lovely ambiance with a sea view, and on our evening, pleasant live music. The waiter, Henry, was friendly and accommodating. The comfortable beach chairs invite you to linger.

I've been to the Broiler Bar for the first time in two years. Everything has been freshly renovated, and there are also nice seats upstairs in the conservatory. The broiler could have been a bit crispier. The carrots were great. The service was okay, but could be better.

It was the first time in a long time that we visited the Broilerbar during our vacation. We had fond memories of the Broilerbar. The renovation was very nice. Special requests for our orders were poorly handled. We ordered two children's meals that were supposed to be served on one plate. This didn't work. Unfortunately, one schnitzel was very dark and hard. Upon request, we were served a new one. When we thanked him with "Super," the waiter asked us if we were speaking gas station German. I'm usually very generous, but after this inappropriate remark, there was no tip. We're guests of Schlosshotel Ralswiek and are used to other service providers. It's a shame.

Even though our occasion was sad, the Broiler Bar showed us that with humorous service (Henry Köhne & Anja) and great food, life always has something beautiful in store! Thank you for that.

After some good experiences in the past, we visited the newly opened Broilerbar. Unfortunately, we can't recommend this restaurant. The renovations apparently weren't completed. At least the ceiling paneling is very attractive. The service was okay. I wouldn't exactly describe the gentleman who served us as a ray of sunshine. We ordered the 1/2 Broiler Classic with fries and coleslaw. The fries were barely seasoned and had the taste and texture of oven-fried fries. The half rooster was more like half a pigeon. There was hardly any seasoning here either, and the skin was flabby. The coleslaw was okay. Overall, very disappointing for a price of over €20.

We went to the Broiler Bar last night. We really enjoyed it, and the food was also very good. The value for money was also good. The staff were very accommodating.

Unfortunately, the chicken wasn't crispy at all, as advertised. The taste was also rather bland.

The Broiler Bar in Sassnitz is unfortunately no longer recommended. As Rügen residents, we often ate there before the renovation and wanted to stop by with friends. We praised the homely cooking and the service highly. However, on our last visit, on the weekend of the Sassnitz Harbor Days (Sunday, July 13, 2025), we were very disappointed and embarrassed. We had to wait a long time before we were noticed and served, even though the restaurant wasn't full. We eventually got a menu, and the price increase was immediately noticeable at first glance. But okay, after all, prices have exploded everywhere. After we were allowed to take our order, some things were forgotten. When we pointed them out, the waitress thought it was already way too much, and when the food finally arrived relatively quickly, we were shocked by the tiny portions. None of the wait staff came to ask if we wanted any more drinks, which would have made up for the deficit on our plates. So again a long wait until the dishes were cleared away and then we even dared to ask for the bill. The waitress's friendly response was a rolling of the eyes and a groan that only the colleague does that. Here too, the colleague came again after a long wait. When he asked if we wanted to pay in cash or by card, I dared to say that we would like to pay by card, in return I got the same rolling of the eyes and the answer that I could have said that straight away because he had to go and get the machine. After this whole desert of service, we decided not to leave a tip. Then politeness came to the fore in all its glory, because the shouting behind the counter erupted when it was reported that we hadn't left a tip. We were punished with dirty looks and loud comments like "what do you expect from such a rabble?" So, the Rügenhotel Sassnitz and the Broiler Bar can expect from this "pack" that we won't be coming back and definitely won't recommend this restaurant to anyone. Unfortunately, it's hard to find good staff these days, but these extreme price increases and the tiny portions absolutely don't justify this poor service. The restaurant industry shouldn't be surprised that tourists feel ripped off. Tip: Instead, grab a nice fish sandwich from the fishing boat.

An absolute insider tip in Sassnitz – culinary, welcoming, a complete success! During our stay in Sassnitz, we stumbled upon the Brolierbar quite by chance – and looking back, we can say with complete conviction: It was a real stroke of luck! The restaurant is located directly in the hotel on the harbor promenade and, even from the outside, the signs make it very inviting – friendly and with a pleasant calm that arouses curiosity. Upon entering, you are immediately greeted by a relaxed, unfussy, and extremely pleasant atmosphere. The dining room is tastefully decorated (like a Brolierbar), bright, and well-organized. The tables by the window are particularly popular – with a beautiful view outside. Therefore, if you want to secure a window seat, we strongly recommend reserving in advance – the Brolierbar is particularly busy, especially during peak times, and the popular seats are quickly snapped up. What immediately struck us was the delicious aroma wafting towards you and the broiler chicken behind a pane of glass: freshly grilled broiler chicken – wonderfully spicy and crispy. The menu deliberately focuses on chicken specialties, with palpable passion and quality. The broiler was cooked to perfection: wonderfully crispy on the outside, buttery tender on the inside, juicy, and with a finely balanced blend of seasonings. The side dishes were also fresh, generously portioned, and lovingly presented – honest, down-to-earth, and truly delicious. Although we didn't try any vegetarian dishes ourselves, we could see that there are also meatless options on the menu – which is a huge plus, especially for groups or families with different eating habits. A very special thank you goes to Mr. Köhne, who was the heart of this visit for us. We have rarely experienced such a warm, attentive, and at the same time pleasantly authentic host. With North German charm, genuine friendliness, and a keen sense for his guests, he ensures that you are not only well served, but feel completely welcome. His manner is direct, but always with a twinkle in his eye – he brings humor and lightness to his service without ever being intrusive. He takes his time, naturally accommodates requests, and you can tell in every action that he brings genuine joy and passion to his work. Mr. Köhne embodies hospitality – in a completely natural, warm, and respectful way. It is precisely this approach that makes the difference between a good and an unforgettable restaurant visit. Our conclusion: The Brolierbar is far more than just a restaurant – it is a place to feel good, enjoy, and return. If you are looking for honest, delicious food, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere, this is the place to be. Mr. Köhne, in particular, made our visit a true experience. We visited the Broilerbar for two days. On the first day, we were accompanied by a large group of people, including four small children. The friendly and cheerful Mr. Köhne was there for us throughout our three-hour stay. On the second day, no other place was suitable for us than his. We like his style: relaxed, quick-witted, and always friendly. The food, not to mention, was super hot, tasty, and delicious. Thank you very much...

We went there for dinner after our visit to the harbor. We were actually happy that it was open again. I had chicken breast au four for €22, the portion of chicken breast was more than just a modest one, and a homemade lemonade for €4.50 in a small glass. I was very disappointed. It tasted good. My husband had half a broiler, which unfortunately wasn't fully cooked on the bone. But the portion was good with the fries and salad. The service, okay, there are still a lot of teething issues. We had to wait a long time to pay. It wasn't very busy. Our verdict: it was a worthwhile experience. We won't be going back any time soon. We live on the island and used to love going there. Maybe in a year's time, if anything changes. What a shame!!

I can't recommend it. The boiler was dry, the side dishes were wrong. Instead of croquettes, there were fries. When I tried to confront the waitress, she just looked wide-eyed and didn't respond. The staff wasn't that great either. We had four different waiters.

The food was ok, the broiler could have been a bit crispier, and the fries taste better warm, too. The staff didn't even have a smile on their faces; they seemed like they were about to turn on each other at any moment. It wasn't a pleasant experience. In a broiler bar, I expect the staff to be relaxed and polite. As for the ambiance, it looks like they're trying to embrace the season but the remodel isn't finished yet. The restaurant's ceiling and skirting boards are missing. All in all, I won't come here again until the staff are relaxed and friendly with the customers and with each other, and when the remodel is complete.

Everything was great! A great team! We'll be back on our next vacation!

Cool restaurant, the food was delicious, the prices were pretty high, and the service was terrible. Everything went back and forth; no one really knew who had ordered what at which table. In conclusion: the food was delicious, but the service needs to improve a lot.

The broiler bar has finally reopened. After a long renovation, it's finally time again. We were very happy about it; despite the long journey, we really enjoyed being there. Unfortunately, we were so disappointed. We ordered chicken livers as an appetizer and asked for them to be fried until crispy, and for the main course, we wanted half a broiler and a large salad with chicken strips. The liver looked like it had been steamed, with no roasted flavors (dark spots) visible. When we cut the liver, the juices spurted out heavily. I don't expect that when it's supposed to be crispy. For the main course, a different dressing was already on my salad than requested, and the chicken strips were very salty. And my husband received a wobbly broiler. We gave it to the kitchen, saying we were happy to wait. After what felt like 5 minutes, it came back. The waiter served it with a handheld napkin because the plate was so hot. Unfortunately, it wasn't cooked through. We took everything home and prepared it to our liking. The price was €60 for two people, and unfortunately, it wasn't worth it.

The broilers are top-notch, the service is friendly, but not quite up to scratch after the long break, but on the right track. Watch out for the seagulls on the terrace ;)
