Brenners Bauernschänke in Lübbenau/Spreewald

Ich war schon mal vor 2 Jahren dort und das Essen hat uns noch genauso wie damals sehr geschmeckt.Ich hatte schon die Befürchtung,das es diese nicht mehr gibt.In der heutigen Zeit, muss man ja leider immer mit so etwas rechnen.Dort gibt es für jeden Geldbeutel etwas und die Speisekarte ist abechslungsreich.Der Service ist auch sehr gut und freundlich.Es ist dort auch nicht so ein großer Trubel,da es etwas abseits liegt,aber noch auf dem Weg zum Spreewaldmuseum Lehde liegt Am Wochenende wird es bestimmt noch mehr mit Touristen besucht sein.Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder dort einkehren.

Wir haben sehr gut gegessen, der Service ist sehr nett und das Ambiente einfach sehr schön. Empfehlenswert!!! 🤗🍀

Unerwartet großartiges Essen auf der Tageskarte

Das Essen war super lecker, authentisch mit einem modernen Twist und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Auch die Anrichtung war richtig schön und hat das Gesamtbild perfekt abgerundet. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Besonders gefallen hat uns der gemütliche Biergarten mit dem schönen Innenhof. Praktisch ist außerdem, dass direkt nebenan Parkplätze vorhanden sind.

Ein wunderschönes Plätzchen. Ich hatte die Tapas. Ausgezeichnet. Das Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wirklich zu empfehlen!

Dieser Laden verbindet die traditionelle Küche mit einem Hauch Moderne. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und die Lage des ganzen Restaurants ist außerhalb der Stadt was es zu einem ruhigen Ambiente macht. Top!

Traumhaftes Lokal, dass etwas nach der Mittagszeit nicht so überlaufen war. Das Essen waren ausgesprochen lecker. Wir hatten unseren Hund dabei und bekamen sofort Wasser für sie gereicht. Der Service ist unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Preise sind absolut gerechtfertigt. Hier stimmen noch Preis-Leistung und wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch. Das Essen war gut, der Service jedoch furchtbar unpersönlich und die Auswahl für Vegetarier sehr gering. Wir waren mit sechs Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern dort. Wir wollten zwei Tische zusammenstellen, was die Kellnerinnen sichtlich verärgerte und uns baten, die Tische wieder so zu platzieren, wie sie waren. Wir waren die ersten Gäste im Restaurant, es war komplett leer und außer uns war buchstäblich niemand da. Schließlich willigten sie ein, dass wir alle zusammen sitzen durften. Da die Kellnerinnen nicht besonders gut Englisch sprachen, gab es ein kleines Missverständnis bezüglich eines unserer Gerichte. Die Kellnerin reagierte genervt, als sie das Gericht brachte und wir dachten, wir hätten etwas anderes bestellt. Es gab lediglich drei vegetarische Optionen (davon nur eine vegane): Salzkartoffeln mit Sahne, vegane Pasta oder Kartoffelpüree mit Rührei. Insgesamt hat der Service unser Erlebnis wirklich ruiniert – und wofür? Weil wir zwei Tische zusammenstellen wollten? Das war schade, denn das Restaurant sieht sehr schön aus und die Fleischgerichte waren gut.

Wir waren heute in diesem tollen Restaurant spontan essen (2 Erwachsene und 1 Kind). Es war so lecker…so liebevoll angerichtet und die Bedienung war auch sehr freundlich. Wir kommen unbedingt wieder. Danke für das wundervolle Essen.

Sehr gutes Restaurant, wo alles stimmt.

Das Essen war echt gut. Hatte Strammer (Schnitzel) Max. Sehr gute Portion für mich (bin ein Mann, normaler Körperbau) und super lecker. Der Gurkengeist war sehr schmackhaft 😉 Und es gab die Möglichkeit mit Karte etc. zu zahlen.

Wir haben nicht gegessen. Sehr angenehme Gaststätte. Im Außenbereich wurden wir sehr gut und schnell bedient.

Wir hatten Spargel mit Schnitzel, Kartoffeln mit Quark und zum Abschluss einen Hefeplins mit Zucker. Alles war sehr lecker und hat fantastisch geschmeckt. Auch der Service war freundlich und stets zur Stelle wenn man etwas brauchte. Danke für den schönen Abend.

Waren zur Off-Saison da und haben mühelos einen Platz bekommen. Das Essen ist traumhaft, das beste das wir in Lehde hatten! Alles von hervorragender Qualität. Der Service ging sogar auf Sonderwünsche ein. Top!

Fischsuppe Ist mega!!!! Absolut empfehlenswert, deshalb komme ich wieder!!! Fischburger und Wildgulasch waren ok.

Richtig schöner Ort, um in Ruhe einen Spreewaldtag ausklingen zu lassen. Sehr gutes Essen, das Kindheitserinnerungen weckt und einen kulinarisch mit moderner Spreewaldküche verzaubert.

Wir wurden in der Bauernschänke mit einem aussergewöhnlichen Service und perfekter regionaler Kulinarik verwöhnt. Wirklich toll was hier auf den Teller gezaubert wird mit dem gewissen Etwas. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team.

Wir sind aktuell auf einem Kurztrip im Spreewald. Auf Empfehlung waren wir heute in Brenner‘s Bauernschänke. Wir sind absolut begeistert. Tolles Ambiente, toller Service und hervorragendes Essen. Wir hatten Wildgulasch mit Rotkohl und Klöße. Des Weiteren hatten wir „Oma Karin trifft Opa Herbert“ Schnitzel mit Meerrettich sowie einen Schnitzel mit Gurkensenftopping, dazu gab es Pommes und einen kleinen Krautsalat. Portionsgrößen waren absolut ausreichend. Wir können dieses Lokal jedem empfehlen. Reservierung wird empfohlen

Super freundliche Bedienung,unser kleiner Hund bekam einen Napf mit Wasser. Ich bekam einen Topf mit den leckersten Königsberger Klöpsen die ich je in einer Gaststätte gegessen habe. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir waren in der Vorsaison im Restaurant essen. Es war einfach nur fantastisch (sauber sauber, sehr gemütlich, gute Speisekarte und freundliches Personal). Die Currywurst im Glas ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Die Bauernachänke ist toll. Einfach nur top! Das Schnitzel war super – perfekt gebraten und richtig lecker. Auch die Bratkartoffeln, das Püree und die Spiegeleier waren richtig gut, alles hausgemacht und mit Liebe zubereitet. Das Ambiente ist wunderschön und gemütlich – richtig kuschelig und einladend. Das Personal war super freundlich und aufmerksam. Man fühlt sich hier einfach wohl. Kommen sehr gerne wieder – absolute Empfehlung! 👏😊

Ohne Reservierung mit viel Glück einen Tisch ergattert. Restaurant ist innen recht klein mit 40 Plätzen. Die Bedienung war freundlich. Meine Portion Brot mit Quark, Schmalz und Gurke war nichts für den großen Hunger. Da hatte ich mich wohl verlesen. Auch hätte ich mir UNBEDINGT Leinöl im Quark gewünscht. Sehr schade. Das Schmalz fand ich auch etwas geschmacklos, nicht nach Grieben, eher sehr konventionell. Die Grütz-u. Leberwurst meines Partners hingegen war geschmacklich vorzüglich. Das Essen kam sehr schnell.

Wir waren hier zweimal essen. Beide Male hat es uns wirklich gut geschmeckt. Besonders gut war das Wildgulasch, selten so gutes Gulasch gegessen. Preis/Leistung absolut in Ordnung. Großzügige Portionen. Beim nächsten Urlaub kommen wir wieder.

After a lovely day at the Spreewald Therme, we used Google Maps to search for a restaurant serving regional cuisine to round out our trip with a culinary treat. We quickly settled on Brenners Bauernschänke and didn't regret it at all! The service was excellent; the waitress was extremely attentive and friendly. We were served quickly and were overwhelmed by the selection. The food was lovingly presented and everything was freshly cooked. Highly recommended! The terrace is cozy, parking is right around the corner, and the restrooms were also very clean. All in all, a fantastic experience, and we'd love to come back! The two of us spent €50 for two main courses, draft beer, and two beers.

We visited this restaurant in Lübbenau/Spreewald as a group of seven, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere felt cozy and welcoming. The food was excellent — fresh, homemade, and beautifully presented. We especially enjoyed the meatballs, but the menu offered a wide variety of options. Prices were very reasonable, with each of us spending about 20–30 euros for a full meal. Dessert was a must-try: the pancakes with ice cream were simple but amazing. They also served some unique beers, including a refreshing lemon beer and even a pepino beer, which added a nice local twist. The outdoor patio was a wonderful place to relax, making it easy to spend a couple of hours enjoying good food and company. Overall, this spot captures everything you’d hope for in a countryside restaurant

I had fish and it was good, but a bottle of water for €6.20 is quite expensive.

Highly recommended! The salad was incredibly delicious – with bean salad, cucumber salad, and many other fresh ingredients. It was also beautifully presented, and the dressing rounded it off wonderfully. Very filling and a real treat!

The food was quite good; we had a schnitzel combination with cucumber and horseradish and fries, which I highly recommend. Service was very fast, but you could tell the ladies were very stressed. The restaurant itself is relatively small; we sat outside that day, and we didn't find the chairs very comfortable, but that's certainly a matter of opinion.

The staff was very friendly. The drinks and food were brought to our tables very quickly. The portions were large enough to keep us full. The food was also delicious! We enjoyed the food and the restaurant so much on our first visit that we unanimously decided to eat there again the next day. And as expected, everything was also extremely satisfactory on our second visit. Even our dog was immediately given a bowl of fresh water without asking.

Almost all dishes are made with the region's main crop, the... But try it for yourself; I highly recommend it. Even when it's crowded, it's still very relaxed. I had mashed potatoes with a bratwurst roll and sauerkraut garnished with... Very tasty and plentiful at a reasonable price, preceded by cucumber soup with brown butter in a roll. Terrible and absolutely unfriendly service. Despite having free seating outside, we were turned away. This has never happened to us before. We were immediately warmly welcomed at the Suez Restaurant. We won't be visiting the Bauernschänke again for the next two days.

If you like typical Spreewald food, this is the place for you. I visited the restaurant during the one-hour break on the boat trip. On the advice of our boat driver, we went into a restaurant, on a private property, so most people pass by. It's amazing. There aren't many people, it's quiet, calm, cozy and most importantly delicious!!! The price/quality ratio is perfect. If you want to enjoy food, this is the place for you)

We were here today as part of a motorcycle tour. A super chic, quaint farm. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. There was a slight wasp problem, which wasn't pleasant while eating outside, but unfortunately, it couldn't be helped. The service was friendly. We found the homemade lemonade a bit overpriced, but simply too little for the price. Otherwise, everything was great. Restrooms clean and chic. I highly recommend it.

After making a reservation, we were given a lovingly arranged table. The service was friendly and made every effort to fulfill all requests promptly, despite being at full capacity. This was certainly due in part to the excellent operational organization. The menu was well-structured, and the selection of food and drinks was extensive and typical of the region. The wait after ordering was manageable, despite the kitchen being very busy. The food was generously portioned – absolutely excellent value for money. Lovingly presented plates with flavorful dishes. The absolute highlight for us were the Spreewald tapas...if you can't decide, go for those. They have a bit of everything (see photo). Overall, a successful evening, and we finished off with a cucumber liqueur. We'll probably try that at home.

Highly recommended. Make sure you make a reservation in advance if you want to eat around 6 or 7 p.m. The Spreewald tapas are highly recommended. A bit of everything. Cucumber, lard, a small grützwurst burger (soooo delicious).... Otherwise, an appealing, well-organized menu, which speaks for itself :-) From grützwurst, Königsberger Klopse, schnitzel, fish burgers, and of course, yeast pancakes, there's something for everyone.

We can definitely recommend this place... The food is incredibly delicious and so lovingly prepared, a dream... At first, you think it's a small portion, but it's garnished so skillfully that it turns out to be a huge portion and easily enough for two people... The garden is quaint and absolutely cute... The bathroom facilities are a dream... You'd love to go around the corner😂😂😘😘.. Or as you call it, to the Liberation Hall😂😂... The staff were also super sweet and friendly.... We came here as a family for dinner during the week. The dining room is very small and could have been decorated a bit more lovingly. The food was excellent, even though all the dishes on the menu sound more like "fast food."

Delicious food and cozy atmosphere.

We were there in mid-May 2025 and actually only "accidentally" stopped in. Some restaurants were closed, while others didn't exactly impress us with their menus. We don't like these fancy dishes, preferring classic dishes. We loved it so much after eating there the first evening that we returned the following two evenings. The classics weren't fancy, but were still prepared completely differently and incredibly delicious. The restaurant is very simple, but that's precisely what makes it cozy and charming. We can recommend it wholeheartedly.

The Bauernschänke sounds a bit old-fashioned - but it's not. Super delicious dishes, fantastically prepared and absolutely well coordinated components. Highly recommended is the Plinse with blueberry compote and vanilla ice cream! Highlight! Gladly again.

I hate to write negative reviews, but at the same time I would like to point out the following to potential guests: - Guests must pay separately for the use of the toilet (0.7 euros) and - we didn't receive enough change. Coincidence? Unclear, but definitely a bad aftertaste, so be careful!

Good cuisine, hard-working staff

Today we were treated to culinary delights in the farmer's tavern with 8 people. The food is tasty, the prices are completely fair. A person in service would have been an advantage today given the influx. The area is very pretty.

We got the last free table for dinner. We ate the Spreewald tapas and the Hechtburger. Both were quickly on the table and tasted extremely good. The price-performance ratio was reasonable.

A small but nice opportunity to eat and take a short break before or after a walk in beautiful surroundings. The food was beautifully presented on the plates and tasted very good. Everyone there was friendly too.

The Brenners Bauernschänke is one of those typically rustic, small restaurants with authentic staff and down-to-earth, regional cuisine - but creatively designed. Please try the soups too -> a dream! We'll definitely be back!
