Wir waren heute hier, 7 Mädels nach unserer Kahntour. Super Service, tolles Essen, Preisleistung top. Wir können dieses Lokal zu 100 Prozent weiterempfehlen 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

War nach 5 Jahren wieder einmal hier. Ist das beste (Preis Leistung) Lokal im Spreewald wo ich kenne. Gibt es nichts zu meckern 😊

Sehr gutes Essen, freundliche Bedienung. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hierher, wenn wir in Lübbenau sind.

Ganz wunderbar! Spontan zum Ende einer Radtour eingekehrt, mit Durst auf Radler gesegnet. Dazu ein Würzfleisch - sehr lecker! Es gibt Babbenbier aus der örtlichen Brauerei und Jever Pilsener - beides vom Fass. Die Frau im Service ist nett, schnell und sehr aufmerksam. Besser kann es nicht sein. Gegen 16.00 Uhr war es auch noch relativ leer. Wir kommen definitiv wieder! 🤗👍

Wir sind hier spontan auf zwei Schnitzel eingekehrt. Es war sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet, die Portionen waren ordentlich und das Ganze zu einem fairen Preis. Was will man mehr... vielleicht eine nette Bedienung? Auch die bekommt ihr hier, also nix wie hin hier.

Sind spontan eingekehrt und waren sowohl mit dem Essen als auch der Bedienung sehr zufrieden. Können wir absolut empfehlen 👍

Ein Muß wenn man in Lübbenau ist.Man sollte definitiv vorher reservieren!!!So ein aufmerksames nettes Personal.Meine Gäste und ich,sind sehr beglückt in die Unterkunft zurück gegangen.Vielen Dank das es euch gibt.Bleibt unbedingt so wie ihr seid, einfach perfekt, danke! Nette Bedienung, Gefülltes Schnitzel mit Meerrettich und Gurke ging so. Grilletta Spezial mit Bacon sehr lecker. Bier sowieso.

Die Bedienung, das Essen, das Ambiente- insgesamt ein sehr authentischer Ort. Wer nach guten Speisen zu guten Preisen sucht ist hier richtig. Man bekommt für unter 20 Euro (mit Getränk) pro Person genau dass was das Herz braucht um glücklich zu sein. Gerne wieder!!

Es ist immer wieder sehr lecker. Einfache Hausmannskost zu angenehmem Preisen. Der Service ist freundlich und witzig. Das Ambiente sehr schön und passend zum Spreewald. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es hinter dem Haus.

Eine angenehme Atmosphäre, wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Das Essen wie Hausmanskost sehr lecker. Auf alle Fälle gehen wir noch einmal hin.

Langsamstes Restaurant Deutschlands, obwohl es nicht einmal voll war, Essen war okay und kalt dazu, Karte war ungenügend, !Bedienung unfreundlich!

Lecker griletta .....sülze mit bratkartoffel usw usw. Ich lebe hier in der Gegend und kehre des öfteren bei bennos ein.

Super lecker ! Die Bedienung hat Spaß an ihrer Arbeit. Es ist klein und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Preise sind human und angemessen. Wenn Veranstaltungen im Ort sind, sollte man einen Tisch reservieren. Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich, aber ausreichend.

An unassuming place, but the food is very tasty. A great local menu. Schnitzel in various forms. The only minor drawback is the inability to pay by card.

Very child-friendly, with children's seating, a mud kitchen, and a sandpit covered with a sunshade. Excellent home-style cooking, delicious draft beer, and parking in the backyard.

We had a delicious meal here in a cozy atmosphere. The service was very good, and our orders arrived promptly. Reasonable prices and generous portions will keep us coming back. We were there for the first time. The food is delicious and freshly prepared. Even small special requests were easily accommodated. 100% recommendation

So, unfortunately, I have to deduct a few stars. Personally, I wouldn't eat there again. My question about whether there was a vegetarian version of the schnitzel was laughed at and answered with a no. Perhaps they should consider an alternative, such as a vegetarian bratwurst or vegetable schnitzel or something similar. One waitress was quite annoyed when I simply asked her for an alternative. It's a shame.

We wanted to go there for dinner on Sunday, June 29, 2025, because of the low prices advertised on the menu. Instead of €9 for an odd number, the regular schnitzel now costs well over €14. So beware! Online menus are NOT necessarily up-to-date. We ate elsewhere because, unfortunately, all the tables were occupied/reserved.

Interesting spot with lots of different signs and decorations everywhere. Looks a bit kitschy to be honest, but that's just my opinion. Small kitchen so everyone got their food in about 30 minutes. Food is tasty and affordable with decent portion sizes, despite what some say about small portions. Solyanka soup was good, schnitzel was also delicious and juicy. Big minus - no card payment. Saw Google responses from four years ago saying the same thing, so clearly nothing's changed. Must still be a small operation. If you have cash and want good, cheap food, it works. But be ready for very "educational" service - the woman clearing my plate made sure to mention I didn't finish the bread that came with my schnitzel. Feels like it's only good for language practice - generally don't want restaurant lectures with my meal. If that doesn't bother you, go for it.

Very tasty home-style cooking at a reasonable price. You should make a reservation if you come on the weekend, otherwise it might look bad, as seating is limited. Definitely recommended.

We had potatoes with quark and a chicken schnitzel topped with tomato, mozzarella, and fries. The food wasn't outstanding, but it wasn't bad either. The prices are reasonable for the portion size. The waitress was very friendly, especially considering she did everything herself. She took orders both inside and outside, poured and served drinks, and of course, served the food. Unfortunately, the outdoor seating is right on the street, which I personally don't like, but the location is just the way it is. Inside, it was very nicely decorated, and you immediately felt at home. All in all, I can really recommend it. We got a seat right away, even without booking in advance. I came back after two years, and I can still confirm the previous review.

During our vacation, we ate at various restaurants in Lübbenau and the surrounding area. Benno's was by far the absolute culinary highlight.

A small restaurant with friendly service and a large selection of schnitzels. My favorite: a stuffed schnitzel with sauerkraut, Spreewald style. The fried potatoes are also highly recommended, as they're nice and crispy and not too greasy.

The food was delicious, the ambiance was very original, and the service was friendly and humorous. My only criticism, as a city dweller, was that the place only accepts cash.

We landed there after a short bike ride and received a very friendly/warm welcome. The food was super tasty (schnitzel stuffed with horseradish, gherkin and sauerkraut) plus grilletta to take away for the evening 😉

We spontaneously stopped here on a bike tour and had lunch. We sat in the beer garden, service was quick and friendly. The food was freshly prepared and the price/performance ratio was very good!

Very nice for a quick, no-fuss dinner. Unfortunately, the tables reminded me of school or retirement home equipment. Apart from cucumber and tomato salad, there wasn't a vegetarian dish on the menu. Luckily I was able to order the farmer's breakfast without ham or bacon.

For ME it's the best food in the whole place...I love the schnitzel with seasoned meat gratinated and fries on the side...Totally delicious and a really big portion...and the price is totally ok too...I always enjoy coming to Benno's to have a good time... and what I can't manage will even be kindly packed up to take away... We were allowed to be guests at Benno's on Saturday. Since it is a small restaurant, we were happy to get a seat. We were thrilled by the service and the home cooking that was offered. Everything delicious and freshly prepared. Thank you dear ones and keep it up.

Family business with incredibly nice service! Prices are really good for the location and not as crowded as other places. Beautiful guest garden! We arrived shortly before the kitchen closed and were still warmly welcomed. (1 star deducted because the food didn't blow us away - but you can definitely do that! - but the service is even better ;))

Went there in the evening and everything was full, but after a short wait we got a table. The drinks came straight away and the delicious food, which was freshly prepared (you could hear it sizzling from the kitchen), arrived quickly. The staff was very friendly and always had a smile despite the stress. We ate and drank really well here and will definitely come back here on our next visit to the Spreewald.

We have been on holiday in Lübbenau for a week now. Because of the positive reviews, we decided to eat there. But unfortunately we were disappointed. When we wanted to reserve a table (3 people) for the evening, we were told by the staff: "They don't reserve, you just have to stop by and see if something is available". Then in the evening, of course everything was occupied. 2nd attempt: there were 2-3 tables available, when asked by the staff: “Everything is reserved”. Mind you from the same lady... we enjoyed it both times in other locations

Overall a good cafe, the portions are not very large, but it corresponds to the price. The cuisine is simple but tasty. I really didn’t like Julien, but my wife was fine with it.
