Urige, kleine Gaststätte mit sehr gutem Bier! Kleine Karte, dafür mit sehr leckeren, frischen Gerichten. Durchgehend warme Küche! Kleiner Biergarten. Freundliche Bedienung! Sehr hundefreundlich! Es passt einfach alles!!!!

Hier ist der Gast willkommen! Lecker Bier und frisches fränkischen Essen serviert von freundlichen und aufmerksamen Menschen. Danke an das gesamte Team, wir kommen gerne wieder (auch bei 40km Anfahrt).

Wir haben heute zum ersten Mal telefonisch angefragt, ob man die Speisen auch zur Abholung bestellen kann, was absolut kein Problem war. Da die Speisekarte online nicht zu finden war, war die liebe Tanja am Telefon so freundlich und hat mir diese innerhalb kürzester Zeit per WhatsApp zugeschickt – wirklich ein klasse Service und super unkompliziert! Bei der Abholung waren wir dann direkt wieder positiv überrascht, da die Verpackungen beschriftet und sogar mit kleinen Smileys bemalt waren, was total sympathisch ist. Das Essen selbst war wirklich top, besonders die Roulade war butterweich und einfach nur köstlich. Einziges kleines Manko war für mich der Beilagensalat für 2,80 € extra; da er doch recht klein war, hätte ich mir gewünscht, dass er inklusiv ist und auch etwas wenig Soße hatte. Aber ansonsten war alles wirklich perfekt!

Haben sehr gut gegessen und sehr lecker getrunken. Heutzutage gibt es selten noch so gute Lokale. Dankeschön und weiter so

Bestes cordon bleu seit Jahren gegessen. Zigeunerschnitzel auch sehr gut. Als nächstes ist das Jägerschnitzel dran. 14 verschiedene Schnitzel ist schon Wahnsinn.Und das auch noch durchgehend Service bestens.

Kleine aber sehr tolle Gaststätte. Man sitzt urig, wie damals in der Stube bei der Oma. Der Wohlfühlfaktor ist echt groß. Die Speisekarte/Getränkekarte ist zwar optisch klein - aber bietet dennoch eine große Auswahl. Und das Rawetzer Zoigl - ich könnte darin baden. Bin kein großer Biertrinker, aber dieses Bier ist der Wahnsinn. Super lecker. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Kleine leckere Gaststätte. Karte variiert, klein aber fein, am Samstag wo wir da waren. Aber für alle war was dabei. Sehr lecker und wir sind gespannt auf die anderen Gerichte, deswegen werden wir auf jeden fall wieder kommen. Service war sehr nett. Macht weiter so.

Ein wunderschönes Lokal. Sehr enpfehlenswert. Der Sevice super freundlich. Das Schnitzel mit Bolognese Sosse super . Der selbsgemachte Kartoffelsalat sehr gut. Ich werde wieder dort Essen.

Schönes kleines Wirtshaus! Super Essen und sehr freundliche Bedienung! Schnitzel sind die besten in Marktredwitz und das Kronfleisch ist einfach nur perfekt! Auch die anderen Gerichte sind alle durchweg super lecker! Auch die Fleischlosen! Super leckere Biere von der Brauerei Notthaft, kein Wunder ist ja auch die Brauereigaststätte!

Eine schöne alte Gaststätte, mit freundlichen Bedingung, super lecker Essen und den besten Schwarzbier das ich je getrunken hatte. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit allen und werden 100% wieder vorbeischauen.

Traditionsreiche Brauerei Gaststätte mit einem sehr herzlichen Pächter Paar. Der Chef kocht selbst raffinierte bodenständige fränkische Wirthausküche, die Chefin bedient mit freundlicher Aufmerksamkeit.

Auf Durchreise hier gestrandet. Urige Gaststube mit regionalen Gerichten in toller Qualität. Dazu die helle Halbe aus der hauseigenen Brauerei für 3,50 €. Spektakulär! Hingehen! Genießen! Gastwirt unterstützen!

Ich fand es einen guten Ort, um im August 2025 bei einem kurzen Zwischenstopp ein Schnitzel zu essen. Die Bedienung war höflich und aufmerksam.

Mädelsausflug. Da braucht man zwischendurch unbedingt eine Stärkung 😉 kleiner Gasthof, sehr netter Service. Das Essen war lec ker, zu angemessenen Preisen. Wir waren alle sehr zufrieden. Gerne wieder

Very nice place. The menu is limited, but all the dishes are delicious, fresh, and prepared with love. The beers are delicious and rounded off our evening.

I spontaneously stopped by for dinner today because I'm spending the night in the truck in Marktredwitz! The food was plentiful and delicious, and the price/performance ratio was right! The shoulder of pork was great and the boss was very nice.

Everything was great, the service was super accommodating and extremely attentive, we didn't miss anything. The drinks were from the barrel and with a nice toque and also nice hospitality. We look forward to next time

We were passing through Prague with friends and stumbled upon this wonderful inn. The rustic ambiance and delicious food were simply divine! Great prices, too, and the owners were very friendly! Highly recommended!

Historic inn in the middle of Marktredwitz with friendly service and delicious, freshly prepared food. Definitely worth a visit. Attractive opening times.

Unfortunately, it's no longer as cozy and tasty and rustic as it was before Corona. Inside like a simple pub. Cold and everything too tight. Side salad costs extra and the service is nice, but could check more often whether the guests are still well looked after. Don't come anymore.

The schnitzels were incredibly good. Thick and juicy and tender. Best schnitzel in this millennium.

Breakfast buffet was delicious, but there is still some room for improvement. The service was very friendly and competent. The ambience was appealing. All in all recommended. I am also sure that the quality will continue to improve with increasing experience.

Great and tasty dishes with reasonable portions and prices. You can always get a second helping of potato salad, which is particularly delicious. The schnitzel variations are particularly noteworthy. Many years of experience in the catering industry and the whole family works together. Dumplings with sauce for children are free. Very family friendly. There is engaging marketing with lots of backstory on social media. This attracts guests and makes the beach something special. We live right in the neighborhood and always like to come over. Keep it up.

Had 1x Munich schnitzel and 1x Viennese style schnitzel. Service was nice and quick, food came quickly, portions and taste were perfect.

We visited this charming family restaurant in Germany during our travels to and from the Italian Alps, and it was a delightful experience! The variety of schnitzels was impressive, but the Münchner Schnitzel stood out as an absolute must-try – perfectly crispy and full of flavor. They also had a fantastic selection of local beers, which were absolutely delicious. We couldn't resist trying the Kaiserschmarrn for dessert, and it was a perfect sweet ending to our meal. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service made the experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic German flavors! P. S. Had 2 x duck and 2 x schnitzel there today. Very very tasty. The service was extremely nice and the inn dog was super cute!

Today I finally tested the “beach” again for a very long time. Food was great, service was also great, attentive and very friendly. Always asked if everything was OK. Keep it up... that's how a tavern should be. I'd love to come back soon😀

You really can't complain about that

A quaint restaurant with a diverse selection of beers. Attentive and friendly service. The Schäufele, freshly prepared, fell off the bone, the dumpling was brilliant. The cheese spaetzle is excellent! Absolutely delicious apple fritters for dessert!

Food is good The location is very dark and seems disorganized

After the “beach” was taken over by new tenants, we wanted to see for ourselves. And we were convinced! The schnitzel and the snack platter were super tasty and very filling! The map is clear, but I find that pleasant and a sign of quality. The waitress and landlady were also very nice! Price/performance is simply right here. I think everything is done right here and we'll be happy to come back. :)

We were at the beach again today and our positive impression from last time was confirmed! Delicious food, friendly service, reasonable prices... The beach is definitely worth recommending! Just great!!! After we were very disappointed at the Golden Lion last time, our visit to the Strand today reconciled us with the Marktredwitz gastronomy. A service person who approaches the guest competently and very friendly and brings the drinks quickly. The food was served at the same time, once roulade and once gypsy schnitzel. The roulade with dumpling and red cabbage, very tasty, nice and soft but still with a bite. The gypsy schnitzel with crispy fries, a portion to fill you up. The schnitzel was freshly breaded and baked in the pan, just as it should be. The sauce on the schnitzel also tasted very good. Oh yes, when I ordered the gypsy schnitzel I was asked whether I wanted it breaded or plain... others can learn something from that... Overall, a very successful evening with good food, friendly service and all at a really fair price. Many thanks to the team, we'll be happy to come back! There are a few dishes on the menu that made us curious!

Went here for the first time today, the food was very good and plentiful (although the Schäufele could have been a little crispier), overall a nice atmosphere, you feel like you're in good hands, very nice and friendly service despite the full beer garden.. we'll be happy to come back ...keep it up!!!

We tested the “new” beach today and were extremely disappointed. We were there very often during Gläßl times and really like the inn. The map is very manageable as there is hardly anything on it. In the current heat, not even a salad plate etc. is offered. So we asked if we could get a large salad plate and a schnitzel and a Camembert. The waitress was neither friendly nor personable and neither wished you bon appetit nor asked how it tasted. As you can see in the picture, it is more of a small side salad than a large salad plate. Unfortunately, the salad was not fresh, but a fresh cut salad from a package that was “dressed” with peppers and chard. This is an absolute no go for us!!! The schnitzel lacks salt and pepper, the Camenbert was ok. Unfortunately we cannot recommend the beach. What a shame!

Unfortunately we were very disappointed, the smell in the house was unpleasant, the atmosphere wasn't nice, the prices were already high and the food lacked spice, nothing special for me..

Your beer batch was excellent. Rarely eaten so well. Good service, normal prices

If you're hungry, there are two options: either bring plenty of time (currywurst 80 minutes, crown meat 90 minutes despite "kron meat day") or the "mystery package" (just don't order anything and wait until the waiter brings a meal to the table that is actually for you Then choose what you like and say "here" several times in the evening). Zoigl nice and warm, white and brown bread from the package.

Tanja and Martin are undoubtedly the best tenants in the Marktredwitz gastronomy! Her passion for her project is obvious, as you could already see in Höchstädt at the Schlosshügel mountain restaurant with Tanja's coffee. They bring their creativity and attention to detail into every facet of their work, be it through the lovingly designed guest rooms or through cool activities. Their dedication is also reflected in the selection and training of their staff, who are always polite and attentive. The two take the time to respond to constructive criticism and implement it, which further improves the quality of their gastronomy. The warm and attentive service ensures that guests always feel welcome. A special kind of inn, which is becoming increasingly rare these days. Great cuisine, the tenants are full of heart and passion and competent. This is where inns are lived and the customer is king and queen. And should it take longer, the cozy, warm atmosphere and ambience invite you to linger and chat. The prices are more than fair these days and we want such places where people can get together with good food and friendly service to last longer and not be forced to close, as so many have already done. For this reason, I'm happy to pay extra for any additional side dishes I order, such as a salad.

Very tasty food in a rustic atmosphere, with a beer garden when the weather is nice.

Service was very nice. The only thing that really bothers me is that the side salad is charged extra. I have never experienced this anywhere else. Too bad 😔. I just read that this is also the new trick in Austria.

Unfortunately, after we weren't served at another inn, we had to spontaneously go to the beach. However, I have to say that although the mood was a bit depressed at the beginning thanks to the incident in the pub, the good food and the good service with nice cold drinks quickly lifted the mood. Very good price, very tasty (I tried everything that came to the table) and drinks properly chilled. The fries needed a little longer but otherwise everything was perfect. Sitting in the beer garden in the evening and drinking a nice cold Spezi was very pleasant. If it's always like that, we'll be happy to come back. Ps: I can only recommend the cheese spaetzle with fried onions and, as dessert, a few apple fritters with vanilla ice cream and cream.

Went through today with 25 people. Service from Tanja and her daughter was great. Food was great too.

If you read the other reviews we probably had a bad day. The waitress seemed slightly overwhelmed (although she was alone). The portions were very clear, but unfortunately you also had the feeling that neither the potato salad nor the rösti were homemade.

Everyone was very friendly, the food was also very good. You will also be full. We will be back definitely.

Good Bavarian cuisine with everything your heart desires at good prices. The beach schnitzel or the cordon bleu are highly recommended and I was told that the potato salad is also great. When it comes to schnitzel, the beach is my first choice in the surrounding area! --- Rating was under old owners. What the future will bring remains to be seen. I hope a worthy successor can be found.

Very sober. Schnitzel with fries lukewarm and very clearly distributed on the plate. The loin, i.e. the leftovers from the preparations for the evening, were covered with a little herb butter. In short, a disappointment across the board. A little tip on the side if you have a larger event in the evening and the preparations don't allow time to present good and decent food. It would be better to leave it alone. Our visit was on December 14, 22 at around 12:15

We were looking for a place to have lunch and looked at trip advisor for some in the area. It had some.good reviews so we tried.it. The food is nothing to rave about, average, not good , not bad....the waitress was friendly.

Essen gut und reichlich. Wollte sechs Flaschen des selbstgebrauten Bieres mitnehmen, 2.80 Euro pro Flasche wäre der Mitnahme-Preis gewesen. Irgendwie unverschämt... Es gab auch keinen "Schnaps aufs Haus" und es wurde auch sonst nix "abgegriffen". Und ja, Sie können für Ihr Bier für den "Außer Haus Verkauf" verlangen, was Sie wollen. Kauft nur niemand, dafür gibt es dann den Supermarkt oder die lokale Tankstelle (dort gibt es Ihr 🍺 übrigens für 1.50!

Sehr leckeres Essen und freundliche Bedienung!

Die Portionen sind reichlich. Essen war sehr gut, die Soßen waren sehr gut abgestimmt. Es gab leckeres Holzfällersteak, Schnitzel und Pfifferlinge mit Schweinefilet. Auch sehr gut mal für das Auge angerichtet. Hier würde ich auf jeden Fall noch mal wieder hin kommen.

Sehr leckeres, fränkisches Essen. Mit Liebe zubereitet. Das Team gibt sich sehr Mühe, auf die Wünsche der Kundschaft einzugehen. Besonders unter den aktuellen Corona-Umständen kann man hier ein tolles Essen in gewohnter Qualität zum Mitnehmen bestellen. Daumen hoch und weiter so!

Leckeres Essen in angenehmer Umgebung. Preise sind angemessen, aber Vorsicht: Das Strand-Schnitzel braucht einen Gast mit großem Hunger. Aber notfalls wird man von der freundlichen Bedienung gefragt, ob sie den Rest einpacken solle.

Über 70 Minuten Wartezeit für ein Essen ist mir zu lang.

Also ich war heute das erste mal seit dem wechsel dort.. und ich muss sagen ich bin sehr Positiv überrascht. Das essen SEHR SEHR lecker und die Bedienung sehr freundlich :). Jägerschnitzel war überragend gemacht nur leider für mich zu viel (was ja nicht negativ ist) einfach TOP!

Super leckeres Essen zu fairen Preisen in uriger Atmosphäre. Wir gehen hier wieder essen! Wenn jemand „Wartezeiten“ für frisch zubereitetes leckeres Essen bemängelt, dann sollte derjenige lieber zu McDonalds, zur nächsten Dönerbude oder zum Imbiss gehen..., alle Anderen sollten das Essen in diesem Restaurant genießen.
