Brasserie Thi in München

Very good food, prices a bit high but absolutely reasonable for Munich and the quality. Good wines, very attentive and friendly service, top notch. There were 10 of us, and everyone was happy.

We were thrilled and will definitely come back :) The restaurant is beautifully designed, and the seating is very comfortable. The tables aren't quite as small and tightly packed as is unfortunately often the case these days... The service was excellent, and we immediately felt very comfortable. Excellent and well-matched wines were recommended to accompany our menu. Unfortunately, not all of the courses on the menu were to our liking, but taste is individual. The oysters to start were particularly excellent. We would gladly return anytime.

The place was very harmonious for me! Fine food, high quality, and attractively presented. The Asian influence could have been a bit more pronounced. The service is super friendly and perfectly unobtrusive. You always receive good advice. A big plus: the tables aren't too close together, and you're not interrupted by other guests.

The service and food are really good. But the reason we'll be back is the excellent, friendly, and courteous service! A star, top notch!

Wir haben gestern den Geburtstag meines Sohnes gefeiert. Es war ein schöner Abend. Das Essen war sehr gut und die Atmosphäre war ruhig und unterhaltsam. Der einzige Punkt war, dass man uns zwar gefragt hat, ob es irgendwelche Ernährungseinschränkungen gibt, und wir klar gesagt haben, dass eine unserer Gäste eine Nussallergie hat trotzdem wurde die Quiche mit Pinienkernen serviert. Zum Glück haben wir es rechtzeitig bemerkt, bevor sie davon gegessen hat. Andernfalls hätte es eine katastrophale Erfahrung werden können.

Es war ein rundum perfekter Abend. Das Essen ist sensationell: hervorragend zubereitete Speisen, fantasievolle Gerichte, ohne zu viel Schnick-Schnack. Der Service ist aufmerksam und nett. Das Restaurant ist elegant geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Für mich eines der wenigen Restaurants in München, in denen alles passt. Qualität auf allen Ebenen.

I found the food, the service and the atmosphere very nice. It was just a shame that the announced halibut was already sold out early on Saturday and was replaced with a char (which I don't find that exciting). Still a very nice experience.

We were at Thi with friends on a Friday evening, since we had a business lunch, we didn't express our criticism in the evening, but we called the next day, the boss wasn't there, but wanted to call us... unfortunately we never got this call back, hence our star rating... There was only a mini fried greeting from the kitchen and unfortunately no bread for the first hunger. My fin de clair oysters came naked on ice, no decoration, no lemon, the red wine vinegar, no salt and pepper, no pumpernickel bread. My wife had the ravioli, but unfortunately there were three small ravioli that were too hard, although we love al dente, they were already very firm to the bite. There was also a very bland tomato sauce. We had cocktails and 3 bottles like this (1 white / 2 red) all under 100 € but with a 500 - 600 surcharge on the RRP. Unfortunately, all three did not convince us in terms of price-performance. The main course was saddle of venison for €41, actually a hefty price, but there were only 2 small pieces of meat that were not fresh but probably frozen, because the meat was floury. There was a maximum of 80 g of meat and 8 gnocchi with a dollop of sauce. Despite 3 courses, my wife (34 figure) went to bed hungry. The restaurant was only half full and each table was only once that evening. The waiters and employees obviously wanted to finish work early, at least we felt compelled to do so by the cleaning in the kitchen and the active tidying up around us. The team was already in the restaurant shortly after 11 p.m. with the key in their hand. We would have liked to have avoided the recession and shared our experience directly with the boss, but we never got a call back.

This is a great restaurant in the middle of Munich. We felt like we were in really good hands with David. The food is a successful mix of French base and Asian influences. There is also a great wine selection, including first-class wines by the glass.

Spent New Year's Eve in Brasserie Thi. The menu and wine selection were great. Our favorite was the truffle pasta with leaf spinach and fresh Perigor truffle. The sommelier recommended us a great Burgundy. We really enjoyed the evening. The perfect end to the year for us!

I am always impressed by the quality and creativity of the food, the opulent and special wine selection and the excellent service. I can only warmly recommend Brasserie Thi - regardless of whether you are planning a candlelight dinner, a dinner with friends or a reservation for a meal with business partners. Individual wishes are seen as a challenge and implemented accordingly!

Got food poisoning from the duck pate, including vomiting several times, high temperature and sleepless night. The spook was over quite quickly the next afternoon. It cannot be attributed to other foods I have consumed. The restaurant is very unreasonable and denies everything, so I feel compelled to write a review.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal da und waren alle begeistert. Das Essen war hervorragend, hatten den Saibling und den Schweinebauch als Vorspeise und jeweils das Reh zum Hauptgang. Auch die Joghurt- Nachspeise mit dem Bananeneis war perfekt. Hatten noch nie so ein gutes Bananeneis gegessen. Der Service war freundlich und gut. Auch die Weinauswahl kann sich sehen lassen. Wir kommen wieder!

We celebrated our wedding here and were more than satisfied with Brasserie Thi. Without exception, all guests were enthusiastic about the food (both vegan and meat dishes), the service and the ambience. The food was on point in every course and left nothing to be desired. I can expressly recommend the brasserie, you won't regret a visit.

We found the menu somewhat limited, we did not see many of the dishes that are in the photographs of other reviews. The right food. For my taste, there was too much kimchi in the tartare and the sandwich that masked the flavor. The chicken is very delicious. Friendly and professional service.

We loved the unique fusion of French and Vietnamese cuisine. The dishes are creative and prepared with high-quality ingredients. We were particularly impressed by the sophisticated combination of flavors that harmonized perfectly. The wine selection complemented the food excellently. The service was friendly and perfect and so was the interior. A highlight that we are happy to recommend.

By chance we ended up at Brasserie Thi on our Munich weekend. What a great experience. Good service, small but fine menu, good wine and excellent food. The arrangement is beautiful to the eye and the taste is simply amazing. We will definitely come back and can happily recommend the brasserie.

Brasserie Thi - wonderful creative concept from two of the best kitchens in the world. The French base is refined by delicious Vietnamese nuances to create a harmonious culinary masterpiece. Every dish is like a journey that immerses you in familiar and new worlds of taste. The cooking point of the halibut could have been a little more glassy for my taste, but overall the dish was convincing. The furnishings are elegant, modern and comfortably designed so that you can concentrate on the food. The service was very friendly, highly motivated and at the same time competent. Thank you for this lovely evening, which we enjoyed very much. We are happy to recommend Brasserie Thi.

It's inconspicuous from the outside, but it's well worth going inside. Very tastefully decorated brasserie with a nice ambience. Have had lunch in the brasserie several times - always very tasty, fine cuisine, but without any frills. Attentive and very friendly service. Absolutely recommended.

Very nice place with lots of attention to design. I did appreciate it. Service is also very friendly. The cuisine is aimed to be very sophisticated, however it this little extra to be top that is missing. But they are definitely on their way there. Anyway 5 stars and I will come back.

Overall, a very nice, well-rounded evening in Brasserie Thi. The service from reception to farewell was pleasant, friendly, courteous and competent. The dishes were visually very appealing and perfect to the point. The menu offering is appropriate and exciting, although I would have liked a little more "Asian influences". Our starters and main courses were to die for. The dessert was unusual and also fine, but not 100% perfect like the rest. The ambience is nice, "upscale cozy" and informal, but unfortunately a bit very loud overall. Price-performance ratio still in the green.

Gestern Abend hatten wir das Vergnügen, in der Brasserie Thi zu speisen, und es war ohne Zweifel ein außergewöhnliches Erlebnis. Von dem Moment an, als wir eintraten, wurden wir von einer herzlichen Atmosphäre und einem einladenden Ambiente empfangen. Das Dinner war schlichtweg hervorragend. Jedes Gericht war ein Kunstwerk für sich, perfekt zubereitet und präsentiert. Die Aromen waren exquisit und harmonierten wunderbar miteinander, was jeden Bissen zu einem wahren Gaumenschmaus machte. Die kulinarische Kreativität und Liebe zum Detail in jedem Gericht waren beeindruckend. Ein besonderes Lob verdient auch die Weinauswahl. Wir wurden durch eine fantastische Auswahl an Weinen geführt, die perfekt zu unseren Gerichten passten. Jeder Schluck war ein Genuss, und es war deutlich spürbar, dass die Brasserie Thi großen Wert auf die Qualität und Vielfalt ihrer Weine legt. Der Service war erstklassig – aufmerksam, freundlich und professionell. Das Personal sorgte dafür, dass es uns an nichts fehlte und unser Abend perfekt war. Insgesamt war unser Besuch in der Brasserie Thi ein unvergleichliches Erlebnis. Wunderschöner und sehr liebevoll gestalteter Gastraum. Die Überschaubarkeit und wenigen Tische geben einem das Gefühl in einem schönen Wohnzimmer zu sein. Man fühlt sich sofort aufgenommen und wohl. Der Service war bisher jedes mal ausgezeichnet, der Inhaber des Ladens als auch das gesamte Personal sind sehr aufmerksam und bereiten ein tolles Erlebnis. Das Essen und auch die immer passende Weinbegleitung sind für die Preise kaum zu übertreffen. Absolute Empfehlung!

Even though the reviews are doubtful, i 100% recommend this place, the food is amazing and the service is really nice and pleasant!

Sadly the place did not live up to our expectations. The service was really bad. They mostly ignored their customers. The chicken was great and was the only thing saving the 2 stars. The roast beef was dry and the people that ordered it did not finish their plate. For the pricing of the food I would not recommend this place.

The Fried chicken was excellent but the service was outrageously bad. They missed our orders and were not even trying give service . This place had a great potential but unfortunately the service makes it an unpleasant experience overall.

Das Restaurant unmittelbar hinter dem Hofbräuhaus ist gediegen eingerichtet und besticht vor allem durch eine überragende crossover Küche. Man kann den Stil am ehesten wohl als asian street food mit französischen fine dining aspekten beschreiben. Einfach mal hingehen und ausprobieren, die Preise für Essen und Wein sind absolut fair.

We had an outstanding meal on every level: beautiful presentation, attentive, cheerful and discrete service, and very very good and intriguing food. The wine pairings were splendid, the range of wines excellent and nicely aged, and the XO cognac we had to finish - wonderful. Definitely a favourite to be revisited!

Wundervolles Menü, handwerklich top und kreativ. Tolle Kombinationen von Geschmack und Zutaten! Hat großen Spaß gemacht und noch ein Geheimtipp. Waren zufällig dort und kommen definitiv wieder.

Nachdem wir oft daran vorbei gegangen sind, hat uns die Neugier gepackt und wir haben reserviert. Der Schanigarten ist nicht unbedingt gemütlich, aber vergisst jeder schnell bei den servierten Speisen. Uns wurde ein kreativ zusammen gestelltes 4-Gänge- Menü angeboten. Nachdem das für uns zuviel war, konnten wir ohne Diskussion einen oder auch 2 Gänge streichen. Alles war von ausgezeichneter Qualität. Einzig beim Hauptgericht fehlte etwas der Mut des Kochs zum Würzen. Aber das ließ sich leicht nachholen. Beim Bier sieht es mager aus. Das gab es nur in kleinen Flaschen, aber das wäre ok. Noam aus Weihenstephan war uns total unbekannt, aber recht interessant. Das Augustiner war leider wieder sehr schwach. Vielleicht sollte der Wirt sich von gegenüber ein gutes Bier holen. 😉

The food was very good, very creative! There wasn’t much atmosphere but we were there pretty early.

Unser erster Besuch vor ca. 1 Jahr (Sommer 2022) war hervorragend. Das Essen war sehr gut und vom Service waren wir mehr als begeistert. Leider sind wir jetzt (Juni 2023) in der gleichen Erwartung hingegangen. Das Essen war immer noch hervorragend und die Kellnerinnen waren auch wirklich sehr nett. Leider hat sich hauptsächlich ein junger Herr um uns gekümmert, der äußerst unmotiviert und arrogant gewirkt hat. Vielleicht ist das auch gar nicht böse von ihm gemeint, aber seine Art und sein Tonfall kommen beim Gast leider nicht gut an. Sehr schade, denn wir hatten uns auf diesen Abend wirklich gefreut. Beispiele: Aussage des Kellners, dass es länger gedauert hat, bis er das Essen bringen konnte, weil die Teller noch heiß waren. Obwohl er Geschirrtücher zum Tragen der Teller hatte. Aussage des Kellners betreffend der Nachspeise, sinngemäß „Eis oder Sorbet - weiß ich nicht - ist ja im Endeffekt egal“ hat uns sehr überrascht. Uns würde es freuen, dass der Service die aktuelle Karte kennt und wenn nicht, dass er sich z.B. entschuldigt und nachschaut/nachfragt, was es gibt. Wir wurden nicht gefragt, ob wir vielleicht noch eine Flasche Wein oder etwas anderes trinken möchten, die Gläser wurden nach dem Essen einfach abserviert. Wir hatten das Gefühl, dass wir nicht mehr willkommen waren. Wenn der Service letztes Jahr genau so gewesen wäre, wären wir bestimmt nicht noch einmal gekommen.

Toller Abend - gutes Essen - hervorragender Gastgeber Waren spontan in der Brasserie Thi und haben das 4 Gänge Menu (zusätzlich nen 5. Gang nachbestellt) mit reichlich Wein und Champagner gewählt. Das essen war wirklich sehr lecker und phenomenal. Geschmacklich kann man das kaum besser machen und Präsentation TOP. Der Service sehr professionell und trotzdem ganz locker und gelassen. Hatten auch ein sehr nettes Gespräch mit dem Chef. Die brasserie thi kann ich wirklich empfehlen und man kann da wirklich nichts bemängeln, vielleicht die portionsgrösse. Ansonsten sehr lecker, edel und entspannt.

Ich war schon öfters in der Brasserie Thi und jedes Mal lässt das Küchenteam sich neue Kreationen einfallen mit dem Carte Blanche Menü. Der Service ist unprätentiös und sehr aufmerksam. Die Weinempfehlungen sehr interessant und passend. Vielen Dank für tollen Abende bei euch.

Wir waren diverse Male da und sind immer nett Empfangen und kompetent bedient worden , könnte fast sagen auch exzellent bekocht! Aber die Qualität stimmt ja immer , nicht nur für uns! Eine kleine Auswahl an sehr fein abgeschmeckten Speisen , um Frankreich und Asien so nah zu bringen.. gut gelungen! Die Weine werden kompetent erklärt , egal ob Kenner oder nicht! Sehr nettes , junges Team , immer Sympathisch.. Sehr nettes Ambiente.. ich mag das grüne Separee .. wenns den frei ist.. :) Die Lage ist absolut gut zu erreichen von allen Seiten! Mehr geht nicht. Ein fester Bestandteil unserer Aufenthalte in München ist ein Besuch in der „Brasserie Thie“. Hier wird der Gast hoch professionell & zuvorkommend bedient. Die Küche ist unschlagbar gut. Alle Sinne werden angesprochen. Geschmack und die Optik der Gerichte sind vortrefflich. Auch die Weinauswahl ist sensationell. Sollte man unsicher bei seiner Entscheidung sein, steht einem das Personal mit hohem Sachverstand zur Seite. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier. Bei unserem ersten Besuch hier waren wie neugierig und skeptisch zu gleich. Es gibt einfach noch zu viele die sich an dieser Art von Küche mit asiatischem Touch versuchen und daran scheitern. Nicht so in der Brasserie Thi alle Gerichte bieten einen asiatischen Touch ohne diesen dabei Dominant in den Vodergrund zu stellen. Hier überzeugt Quantität und Qualität beim Essen auf ganzer Linie. Sehr hervor zu heben ist das sich das Menü jeden Monat wechselt und man so eigentlich jeden Monat einmal vorbei schauen sollte. Der Service ist sehr freundlich ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein. Die Wein Karte ist sehr gut ausgewählt ohne dabei mit extrem vielen Positionen zu überfordern. Hier kann man in wunderbarer Atmosphäre einen entspannten Mittag oder Abend verbringen. Eines sei noch gesagt wer nur zum Essen gehen möchte um von einem Teller pappsatt zu werden und das zum kleinen Preis der ist hier fehl am Platz. Die Brasserie Thi möchte aus meiner Sicht zum Genießen und verweilen einladen und nicht zum abfertigen von Hunger Gefühl. Das Preisniveau ist für Qualität/ Lage/ Atmosphäre auch mehr als gerechtfertigt.

Tolles Ambiente, aufmerksames und nettes Personal. Dennoch waren wir am Ende etwas enttäuscht. Das Essen bewegt sich geschmacklich im Bereich gut bis befriedigend, da hätten wir uns ehrlich gesagt schon etwas mehr erwartet. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt aus meiner Sicht vorne und hinten nicht. Sehr kleine Portionen bei einem insgesamt doch ordentlichen Preisniveau. Ich hatte das Onsen-Ei (Vorspeise) für 15,50. optisch aus meiner persönlichen Sicht suboptimal angerichtet, geschmacklich okay. Insgesamt ist der Preis für „zwei Esslöffel“ jedoch deutlich zu hoch.

Gutes Vier-Gänge Menü mit gelungener Weinbegleitung und Ichnusa Pils als Aperitif - hervorzuheben der Kalbstatar, das Maishendl „vietnamesische Art“ mit Austernpilze und insbesondere die Nachspeise: Knackiger, geschmorter Rhabarber auf Vanille-Eis und Popcorn - sehr lecker. Das junge, freundliche Service-Team war auch sehr bemüht und hat eigentlich nix falsch gemacht, außer dass wir etwas zu sehr durch die ersten Gänge gehetzt sind. Flott restaurant, hyggelig miljø, veldig hyggelig betjening. Maten god og pent tilrettelagt. Litt lite smak i lammekjøtt. Meget god saus. Stor vin utvalg
