The food was good and plentiful, the staff was very nice and attentive. Everything was perfect, I would recommend it.

A lovely place to spend a few hours enjoying lunch and coffee. Their menu is a beautiful book showing the dishes, and the dish comes out of the kitchen looking like the picture. There was seating outdoors when I was last here in the summer.

I really enjoy being here, especially early in the morning. When it comes to friendliness, the staff is almost unrivaled here in Saarbrücken. And it doesn't work, it doesn't exist. All in all: my recommendation in Saarbrücken.

The food on offer was varied and regional - unfortunately not bold in terms of seasoning... Onion soup would have needed more power - pepper... seasoning... -. Our service person Nadine (Brasserie Saarbrücken, Bahnhofstrasse) was great, attentive, nice, friendly! Big thanks and full praise! The atmosphere of the brasserie is very pleasant - the temperature is a bit cold, there is no felt curtain on the door that is typical of brasseries, which keeps the cold, damp January weather outside... and a few more briquettes on the heater.

Without having tasted the dishes offered on the menu, I was dissuaded by the rather excessive prices of the different products offered...

We were there for brunch with our 3 year old daughter. Price-performance ratio is okay, the buffet is filled with variety, although the rolls weren't our cup of tea, but that's a matter of taste (too soft). Otherwise nice atmosphere, nice staff, I would recommend a reservation on the weekend. What should be mentioned positively is that our 3 year old daughter was not charged separately for using the buffet, but was free. Of course, a 3-year-old girl only eats a little, but this is no longer a given these days. We were pleasantly surprised.

We were here on New Year's Eve and the service was great. The food was excellent, the dessert was creatively enhanced, the cocktails were delicious. Many thanks again to the team for the perfect last dinner of 2024.

Didn't have a reservation on December 24th. in the morning, just wanted to have a coffee. At first nothing worked, then the friendly employee suddenly made it possible. Thanks for that!

Delicious food, cheap price and great atmosphere. The prices are cheap and reasonable for the portion sizes. Today we had breakfast at 11.30 a.m. and great praise for that too. The coffee is extra, but it is also particularly tasty.

Arrived and for what felt like an eternity no one came to take our drinks order until we asked. It was absolutely tolerable because it was full. I had a passion fruit drink and ordered it with a little syrup. My friend normal but no difference. And although he likes it sweet, he didn't find the drink enjoyable either. My friend wanted a veggie burger, after 15 minutes they said the patties were out and he chose noodles. The burger (€20) was still on the bill at the end. Unfortunately I only noticed it at home. The gentleman who served us was very nice. The other waiters were relatively unfriendly. Food definitely tasted okay. Too expensive for what it is. Very unfortunate.

There are many restaurants here in Saarbrücken but this is definitely the best restaurant I have ever been to. The kitchen crew and the waiters are very heartfelt people, I feel a very happy atmosphere and a nice feeling, and from inside the shop is one great in itself. I would eat there again ❤️

Hallo wir sind wirklich öfter hier und sind auch eigentlich zufrieden , aber heute den 01.12.2024 sind wir auch hier , es ist schon recht kalt wir saßen mit jacken da und haben gebruncht, habe auch nachgefragt warum es so frisch hier wäre laut Aussage, es wäre was an der Heizungsanlage, was eigentlich nicht geht. Weil wir auch öfter dort sind fallen eben Sachen auf wie z.b die Herren Toilette seit 14 Tagen war eine der Toiletten zugeschlossen. Ich verstehe es wirklich nicht ,das man sich da nicht schneller drum kümmern kann. Vllt. Sollte man da etwas kundenbezogen reagieren. Vielen Dank

First of all, I would like to praise the extremely friendly staff - unfortunately you don't see something like that very often these days. A big compliment and keep it up! We were there for breakfast and were thrilled by the good selection and delicious food! The only thing that was a little difficult for me and some other guests to reach was the height of the food at the counter. However, I understand that it is aesthetically pleasing to place the buffet there and that there is probably little that can be done about it. The coffee was also delicious and beautifully served. We'll definitely be back!

It's been 3 times that we've wanted to go back there, but for the moment no table we came back today with a reservation this time on the site which was indeed the one from Saarbrücken but told us once again refused because supposedly not the right restaurant reserved 3 times refused without being able to get a table we won't come back at all

The atmosphere is nice however the food is not of good quality for the very high price. If you want to find French specialties, don't go here. The minced steak was inedible with a meatball texture which is shameful for a €20 burger!

Going to Germany and eating in a brasserie is daring. But I did it and I didn't regret it. We called and tried to book, only to be told it was full. As we walked past we saw an empty table and took our chance. We did well, we had fun. I had the Serrano orecchiette dish, the ham chips were perfect, but a little too many peppercorns on the plate. My husband had the camembert and fig tarte flambée, he enjoyed it. The dough would have benefited from 5 minutes more cooking. In short, I recommend.

Been there again for some time. I was amazed at a new card that was opened, the service was TOP👍👍👍 I ate a punch for the first time yesterday. A flambéed salmon punch. I can say it was a pure taste explosion in the mouth, so many different ingredients, etc. Simply mega and incredibly tasty👊

Whenever I'm in Saarbrücken, I like to go here to Alex to have a cafe or a tea. The seating is nice and the prices are reasonable. The only drawback is that we have waited a long time for a tea or cafe the last three times. Nevertheless, I'd love to come by!

Very nice service and delicious food, even if you're slightly hungry. You have to try the tarte flambée with Camembert, figs, cranberries and spinach leaves.

I wanted to have a different breakfast than always in the hotel! The first thing I noticed was very positive; You can have breakfast until around 12.30 p.m.!! Hotels close their kitchens at 9:30/10:00 a.m.! The second thing that struck me was very positive: there is, among other things, Anti Pasti! The third thing was very positive; the price!! Approximately €5 cheaper than in the hotel. Cool! Why does the BRASSERIE manage to do something so great and the hotels always have to “save, save, save”! Already sick! The service was also absolutely friendly and attentive. Should I be near SB again..... always happy!!

I had the chicken bowl. And it was the most delicious restaurant meal I've had in a long time. The tabbouleh, the dressing, crunchy foods, pomegranate seeds. I was very enthusiastic.

Worst restaurant I've ever eaten at. Service was inhumane, we had to wait 45 minutes for our drinks and food. While we were getting our food, they simply forgot one of my sister's dishes and we didn't get that dish (pancakes) until an hour later. We were also not asked if we wanted anything to drink even though our drinks were already empty after half an hour of the 2 hour wait. The food was reasonable, but not really that tasty. All in all, a really bad place and please eat at the neighbors!

A large coffee for 5.40 euros, which is actually quite small and doesn't taste like anything. In addition, the tables were not clean (bird poop on them) and you had to ask 4 times until they were cleaned. I'm going there now.

Service was good and the waitress was very nice. The food, however, was a disgrace. If you're charging €20.90 for a burger with a small handful of fries, then you can expect to get a decent burger. But not in the brasserie. The bun was toasted to death and the patty was just a ready-made frozen patty that simply had no consistency or taste. If I had spent the €21 on this debacle myself on the metro I could probably eat these sad burgers for at least a week. I won't eat there anymore.

Nice terrace in the heart of the pedestrian zone of Saarbrücken. We only had one beer there, but the waiters were friendly and smiling.

I do not recommend this place! It’s almost a scam given the misinformation for the customer. We have already come and the waiter has placed us on a reserved table. We ourselves had to move and change places following this error, not wanting to be embarrassed when the other customers arrived. Then, when taking the order, the waiter was morose and when we asked if it was possible to have a carafe of tap water, he acquiesced and took the rest of our order without making any comment except a request for what we want with our cutlets between mayonnaise and ketchup. So far so good, but when we were served, we received a bottle of water. However, we had asked for a carafe. When we took the order we were not told that it was not possible or that it was only bottled water and above all, we were never told the price. So we find ourselves at the table with a bottle of water not ordered, I call another server to rectify this while waiting for 10 minutes, I am told that there is no carafe of tap water possible, We therefore resigns himself to this bottle of water at 6€ and some dust. Honestly, it’s stealing water at this price. The dishes were good, not phenomenal but OK, for the dish of the day (Curry Wurst) the quantity was still thinner than the others. Which is a shame. But at the end of the meal, yet another surprise. The addition is not correct. We had to pay 2€ less than indicated. It turns out that the sauce to accompany the escalopes requested by the waiter earlier was charged! It was additional to the dish and not included as the server suggested to us! He asked us what we wanted between mayonnaise and ketchups, not if we wanted mayonnaise or extra ketchup! This restaurant is profiteering, they fail to specify which elements are priced extra, which means that we find ourselves paying even more in the end. I'm shocked. If we had known, we would have neither ordered the water nor the mayonnaise that we thought was part of the dish! In addition, the toilets were dirty, there was no soap left for the women and there was also a charge of €1 for people outside the restaurant. They really do everything to charge their customers as much as possible. It's really a shame, don't go to this establishment, there are others who offer similar services of better quality and in a warmer atmosphere at a lower cost all around. It's not worth it here!!

I was there for brunch, the food was delicious and there was plenty of choice. I think it's a shame that at this price coffee, or from the 2nd O juice, it costs extra. I paid €32 for myself and 3 coffees without a tip. It was nice, I can recommend it, but I won't have brunch there again. But I've been there several times in the evening, delicious, selection, again at any time

Saturday lunchtime 40 minutes of waiting for 1 Steak with pepper worth an absurd €31, the latter was much overcooked while the request was rare, barely 100g in size, quite simply disappointing.

Unfortunately we were disappointed this time. Schnitzel was dry, noodles were also disappointing for €17. So for these prices you should be able to expect more! Starter and main course also came together. We had ordered several drinks, they came quickly, but were left silent and we could guess who had what. The last few times we were really happy with the food and service, but today was a real disappointment. Unfortunately, it's always quite loud, which I don't really want to complain about because it's not the restaurant's fault but per se it's in the city center. Next time we'll eat somewhere else.

I really like the restaurant and the service, unfortunately it is not a place for colia or allergens, there is no worry about allergies and intolerances, nothing is obvious so I just stick to coffee, drinks and breakfast where I can bake mixed eggs CHEESE AND FRUITS.... WHO KNOWS, IN THE FUTURE YOU WILL EXPAND THE PLEASURE OF SAFELY EATING A GLUTEN-FREE LUNCH TO THE FUTURE OF THE MENU.

Unfortunately not recommended. We were there today and waited at least 30 minutes for someone to take our food. The wishes of the guests are absolutely not taken into account. I tried to order a gluten-free meal. Unfortunately, what worked with all sorts of noise worked just fine. Very unfortunate. We will go somewhere else next time.

Still a good restaurant for all-agers! The service and food is very good! There was a price surcharge, which was to be expected since VAT has increased. However, the portions feel smaller. I had the impression that the meat was a little thinner and the portion of fries was smaller.

Unfortunately, the toilets were dirty and we didn't get any dessert...8:30 p.m
