Ganz tolles Frühstücksbuffet mit einer wirklich guten Auswahl.Preise sind total OK .Und der Service war einfach perfekt.

Schade, dass die Pommes zum Burger extra kosten. Ansonsten ist alles gut und der Preis insgesamt angemessen.

Schön draußen zu sitzen. Bedienung sehr freundlich , schn ell ,kommunikativ und nicht aufdringlich. Preis/Gegenwert ok. Interieur etwas in die Jahre gekommen, hat aber Flair. Ich komme schon fast mein halbes Leben immer wieder ins Alex und das gerne!

Wir kommen regelmäßig hierher, wenn es schnell gehen muss. Freundlicher Service, gutes Essen und kurze Wartezeiten. Genau das, was man im Alltag braucht

Schon seit meiner Ausbildung und Berufstätigkeit in Saarbrücken eines meiner Lieblingsrestaurants in Saarbrücken. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist riesig, alles frisch und lecker, das Essen à la carte ebenso. Das ehemalige "Alex" ist stylisch und trotzdem sehr gemütlich. Der Service ist nett und aufmerksam, obwohl der Laden meistens voll ist. Ich komme gerne her.

So soll es sein: Begrüßung beim Betreten des Lokal, freundlicher Service, kurzer Smalltalk mit dem Personal... dann fühlt man sich auch wohl.

War dort zum Abendessen. Zuerst falscher Tisch zu gewissen bekommen trotz Reservierung. Mzssten uns umsetzen. Die Bedingung ( weiblich) kamm während dem essen um zu fragen ob alles okay ist , meiner meinung nach macht man das als Angestellten nicht . Das essen war naja hab schon besser gegessen . Geschirr ( salatschüssel war noch verschmutzt. Bei mir fehlte das Spiegelei . In Zusammenfassung zum Frühstück sehr gut , für warm essen geht so . Preise sind okay

Schnelles servieren der ersten Getränke. Danach allerdings gerieten wir in Vergessenheit und mussten erstmal 30 Minuten warten um die Essens Bestellung aufnehmen zu können. Das essen war leider nicht berauschend. Schnitzel aus der Friteuse, Spaghetti Portion meiner Frau leider auch nur eine Menge für den hohlen Zahl zumal diese Lecker waren. Anschliessend sahen wir 1 Stunde keinen Servicemitarbeiter mehr. Hat Potenzial, sollte aber vielleicht nochmal an den simplen Gerichten arbeiten bzw. deren Qualität ein wenig steigern. Personal trotz allem freundlich, leider zu wenig präsent.

Ein nettes Café im Stadtzentrum für Kaffee, Drinks oder einen kleinen Imbiss. Die Atmosphäre ist lebhaft und die Terrasse bei schönem Wetter besonders angenehm. Das Essen ist gut, eher Standard als etwas Besonderes. Der Service ist je nach Andrang mal schnell, mal etwas langsam.

Waren heute zum Frühstücksbüffet da. Es war sehr reichlich und alles sehr lecker. Auch das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Ambiente gemütlich. Wenn ich mal wieder in Saarbrücken bin, komme ich auf jeden Fall wieder...auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung 😉👍

Waren gerade dort. Setzen uns hin und warteten znd warteten. Die Bedienung schaute uns noch an. Ging aber vorbei. Also sind wir gegangen und werden nicht wieder kommen. Ich werde es auch nicht weiterempfehlen.

Der Kellner war nett und freundlich. Ich habe einen Burger bestellt. Der Burger war leider sehr trocken.

Bin immer mal wieder gern dort. Ob zum Essen oder nur mal für gemütlich einen Wein zu trinken.

Hätte ich kein Stern geben aber muss ich Stern. Getränke bestellt die wissen da von nicht wie haben Kuchen bekommen 15 Minuten kein Getränke nicht bekommen und kein Mann wenigstens sorry sagen aber nicht.

Ein sehr gemütliches Lokal mit breitem Angebot an Speisen und Getränken. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt. Der Service ist sehr gut.

Wir hatten einen echt super schönen Aufenthalt in der Brasserie. Es hat alles gestimmt und das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Ich empfehle den Brunch, der morgens angeboten wird. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an süßen und herzhaften Speisen.

Wir waren hier frühstücken, das Frühstück war klasse und man kann sich selbst Waffel backen.Diese sind sehr lecker. Büfett war alles vorhanden ,leckeres Brot und die Angestellten alle sehr freundlich , Tische werden zügig abgeräumt. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen wieder!

Wir waren gestern abend dort und muss sagen das Essen und die Getränke waren perfekt. Super Auswahl an vegetarischen/veganen Gerichtem. Der Service war leider nicht gut. Hatten zuerst eine sehr freundliche Bedienung. Diese hat dann wohl Feierabend gemacht (natürlich absolut okay). Allerdings wurden wir dann nicht mehr bedient, was wir schade fanden da wir locker noch Nachtisch und mehr Getränke bestellt hätten. Sehr schade.

Wurden sehr herzlich empfangen Personal waren alle sehr nett und freundlich. Das Essen war sehr lecker 😋

Sehr schöne Auswahl beim Frühstücksbüffet, sehr aufmerksames sympathisches Team, Einrichtung schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, tut für mich aber in diesem Fall keinen Abbruch…. Werde wiederkommen!

Eine nette Brasserie für einen kurzen Zwischenstopp auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt. Das Essen ist in Ordnung, aber alles ist industriell gefertigt. Die Preise sind angemessen.

Sehr gute Küche - dort muss man essen, wenn man in Saarbrücken ist.

Ich war heute seit längerer Zeit mal wieder in der Brasserie um mit meiner Frau zu frühstücken. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und zuvorkommend und über den Charme der Einrichtung muss ich nichts mehr sagen. Doch waren wir über die Auswahl und der Qualität des Buffets sehr enttäuscht. Nullachtfünfzehn Käse und Wurst, keine wirkliche Auswahl an Müslis oder an Brötchen. Ich finde für ein solch spärliches Frühstück sind die aufgerufenen 15,40€/Person (ohne Heissgetränke, diese kamen mit 11,80€ für drei kleine Kaffee noch on top), recht heftig. Das können andere in Saarbrücken um Längen besser.

Das Restaurant ist sehr gemütlich. Die Bedienung war schnell und freundlich. Es war auch nicht sehr voll bei unserem Besuch . Aber ich denke das lag an der Uhrzeit. Leider bin ich sehr enttäuscht vom Essen. Ich hatte Lasagne bestellt, die Geschmacklich zwar okay war aber die Portion für knapp 18 € war schon sehr klein . Was aber viel schlimmer war . Die Lasgne war an einigen stellen kalt , der Käse obendrauf war nicht knusprig sondern lapprig. Die Lasagne war also nicht wirklich frisch sondern kam aufgewärmt zu mir an den Tisch . Vermutlich aus der Mikrowelle. Ich verstehe das man hier Zeit sparen möchte aber bei einer Lasagne die knapp 18 € kostet erwarte ich das sie heis und frisch aus dem Backofen kommt, auch wenn ich dann 20 Minuten warten muss. Absolut überteuert und den Preis Geschmacklich auch nicht wirklich wert. Da ich aber sonst zufrieden war würde ich wieder kommen um nochmal ein anderes Gericht zu probieren .

Ein wunderschöner Ort für Kaffee und Kuchen, aber auch für eine Mahlzeit oder einen Drink. Sehr empfehlenswert! 👍🏼

Wir sind begeistert: das Ambiente einer Pariser Brasserie, das charmante Personal und das durchweg hervorragende Essen. Es ist zu unserem Lieblingslokal für Nachmittagstee und Abendessen geworden, wann immer wir in Saarbrücken sind. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an das gesamte Team!

Good ideas, but room for improvement I ate at the brasserie in Saarbrücken, and my first impression was really positive: The food looked appealing, everything was nicely presented, and the portions were generous. The fries, in particular, were really good – fresh, crispy, and delicious. For the price, you'd expect that. I was a bit ambivalent about the burger: It was okay, but unfortunately nothing special. The taste was solid, but it lacked that certain something that sets it apart from other burgers. In addition, the food was a bit too cold, which noticeably detracted from the overall impression. The service was friendly, but unfortunately, we had to wait quite a while before being served. A brief apology or an explanation of how busy they were would have made a big difference and significantly improved the overall experience. Overall: A nice place with potential, good food with highlights (especially the fries), but there's still room for improvement regarding the food temperature and waiting times. I would go again – but with the hope that these points will be a better fit next time.

I simply love this restaurant. I love going here; it's my oasis of enjoyment and relaxation. It has the flair of a French restaurant just as you'd imagine one in Paris.

Incredibly friendly staff, large selection. Had breakfast brunch on Sunday. Inviting atmosphere. Attentive service. Very good value for money. Unfortunately there is no café there. They could consider perhaps including a coffee. Otherwise it was fantastically perfect, had a lot of fun. The toilets were also very clean. They also had oat milk. You can also make your own fresh waffles.

The food and service are good. The location is at the back of St. Johanner Markt. Nice before, during, or after a stroll :) Unfortunately, it faces a busy street, but that's not a problem inside and only moderately so outside.

Hello, on August 22, 2025, I wanted to use the restroom at this restaurant in the morning after a doctor's appointment. However, I was denied entry because I wasn't a guest, and the restaurant couldn't let me use the restroom. I wonder what kind of world we live in that such things are forbidden. Owners of these restaurants should think about this. Do you also say no to children and the elderly? It's a complete impertinence. I will avoid this restaurant in the future. (I would give it 0 stars, but I can't post it without them.)

It's actually quite nice to sit here on Bahnhofstrasse. The service is very friendly and prompt, but that's about it, unfortunately. I had the daily special of meatballs with mashed potatoes and beans, and it was a disaster. The meatballs were definitely frozen and had been prepared in a deep fryer. The beans were cooked to perfection but were very firm, and the mashed potatoes weren't fresh either... probably instant powder. The food definitely gets 0 stars. When I went to the bathroom, I had to walk past the kitchen, which was unpleasant, but then the smell of the deep fryer in the toilet was the last straw. Bottom line: never again!

Great, that was yesterday. Today, July 28, 2025, was an absolute disaster. The waitress ignored us, so we left after 20 minutes.

Left again without ordering anything. Difficult, especially when after 20 minutes there was no one on the terrace...

The price-quality ratio is very fair, there is a sufficient selection of beer, and the location is perfect.

Went there on Sunday for my friend's birthday. Great food, everything you need and more. I loved the ginger shots. Great value for money 👍. The service was soooo friendly, even shaking everyone's hand as we left and thanking us for being there. The birthday girl got a free drink with a sparkler. The staff were cheerful and helpful. Lovely atmosphere. I'll definitely go again. Thanks for this lovely morning.

We had a great lunch at the Brasserie Saarbrücken. The staff was very friendly, even bringing our dog a drink and later a treat. The service was very fast. The waitress's recommendations were also very good, and everything we ordered was delicious. The atmosphere is generally very pleasant, with a beautiful interior, and it was easy to have a great conversation, so it wasn't too loud. All in all, I would recommend this brasserie to anyone who passes by. We've just finished lunch and are already considering whether to come back in a few hours :)

Here, the chef personally attends to guests' needs and requests. We were even asked to try and rate new creations. For me, this is a restaurant with service comparable to that of a Michelin-starred restaurant! The dishes are varied and freshly prepared. I went to Branchen today with my friends for my birthday, and it was fantastic. We received good service. The food was excellent. There was a huge selection. The chef was very charming and very friendly. It was a wonderful visit. I highly recommend it.

The brasserie's new brunch menu is fantastic. A huge selection: everything from fruit to cold cuts and cheese, a waffle station, fresh bread and rolls, and much more. The atmosphere is fantastic, the service is friendly and attentive; dogs are even allowed and well-looked after. When the weather's nice, you can also sit outside. Definitely recommended; we'll definitely be back.

The shop is a bit dark but the food is quick, tastes good and the waiters are very attentive

The Sunday brunch (9 a.m. - 2 p.m.) was my first time. But what was offered for €21 (rounded up) was sensational. A large selection of freshly prepared dishes for breakfast and lunch, including hot and cold options. Added to that are the very attentive and friendly staff. Praise for the food and service. I love the family atmosphere.
