das essen war sehr gut, v.a. die "tapas", portionen ok für den preis in der lage, die pizza könnte schon etwas mehr sein. etwas enttäuscht waren wir von der geringen auswahl an spritz-varianten. service speziell, aber nett.

Soweit alles ok....nur der Salat der als jung und knackig in der Karte steht hatte teilweise die beste Zeit hinter sich ...war leider schon ziemlich welck ...der Rucola vorallem der leider sehr oft vertreten war...

Leckeres Essen und Getränke zum fairen Preis. Empfehlenswert

Das Konzept ist natürlich cool mit den kleinen Portionen - bei 10-14 Euro für eine Drittel Pizza bezahlt man aber auch fürstlich für die kleinen Portionen. Der Service war etwas langsam und unterbesetzt. Das Essen selbst war geschmacklich gut. Kleine extra Minuspunkte gibt es dafür dass auf der Terrasse 20 Leute gesessen haben die WM schauten - das Spiel ging bis 12 Uhr und um 11:30 wurden alle rausgeworfen und die Bestuhlung abgebaut. Die Tische hätte man auch noch kurz stehen lassen können ...

Waren hier spontan ein paar Wochen nach Eröffnung. Die kleinen Pizzen waren auf den Punkt gebacken und lecker. Die Vorspeisen Variation sehr tomatenlastig, nichts besonderes aber in Summe lecker. Es gab ausreichend Brot dazu, gut zum Teilen. Die Stühle im Außenbereich sind zu unbequem um lange zu sitzen, haben nach Sitzkissen gefragt und Decken bekommen - sollte man sich noch zulegen. Sorry, aber wirklich daneben war leider das Weizen. Ursprünglich wollten wir Zitronenweizen, Kellner meinte gibt es nicht, haben dann später in der Karte aber gesehen es gibt „Radlerweizen“ - vermutlich haben wir da aneinander vorbei geredet. Hatten dann letztlich Colaweizen bestellt, das kam irgendwie in mehreren Schichten, zuerst Cola, dann Weizen, Schaum war schon weg bis unter Eichstrich - nach Reklamation wurde dann versehentlich noch Bier drauf gezapft (hat man geschmeckt & gerochen), sodass wir dann dieses 3 Schicht-Getränk hatten Die Abgrenzung zwischen Spritzeria/Trattoria könnte etwas klarer sein, wussten zunächst nicht wo wir sitzen „dürfen“

Essen wie Italien. Tolles Konzept, wir kommen wieder!

Wer echte italienische Gastfreundschaft erleben möchte, ist im Ti Amo am St. Johanner Markt genau richtig. Schon beim Betreten fühlt man sich herzlich willkommen, familiär, aufmerksam und typisch italienisch. Die Speisen und Getränke waren hervorragend: frisch, authentisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Jeder Gang hat überzeugt und hat unseren Abend zu etwas Besonderem gemacht. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und einen wunderschönen Abend in entspannter Atmosphäre verbracht. Das Ti Amo ist ein kleines Stück Italien mitten in der Saarbrücker Altstadt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können diese Trattoria uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Ich war jetzt schon mehrmals dort und bin absoluter Fan des Konzeptes. Ich muss mich aufgrund der Größe der Gerichte nicht für eins entscheiden, sondern kann Nudeln und Pizza genießen. Die Portionen sind super passend. Und das Essen ist einfach lecker. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist spitze! Ti amo Ti Amo! Bin bald wieder da.

Mit dem neuen Konzept extrem leckere Speisen und auch mein Lieblingswein Cà dei Frati 😍. Das Tiramisu zum Abschluss hat nochmal den perfekten Abend abgerundet!

Heute einen gemütlichen Sonntag Mittag in diesem schönen eingerichteten Restaurant verbracht.Wir haben uns ein vegane Antipasti Platte und eine klassische Antipasti Platte bestellt. Dazu gab es noch ein Körbchen mit frischem Brot. Schön frisch zubereitet und schön angerichtet. Auf jeden Fall, einen Besuch wert.

Als ich um kurz vor 22 Uhr noch etwas zu essen bestellen wollte, wurde mir gesagt, dass die Küche wegen Personalmangel schon geschlossen sei. Da ich aber dennoch Hunger und schon etwas zu trinken bestellt hatte, holte ich mir in einem Nachbarrestaurant etwas zu essen. Als ich im Ti Amo draußen am Tisch meine Pinsa aß, wurde mir gesagt, dass man hier keine Speisen von anderen Restaurants essen dürfe. Darauf antwortete ich, dass die Küche ja geschlossen sei und ich nichts mehr bestellen kann. Dem wurde nur bedingt Verständnis entgegengebracht. Diese Reaktion fand ich nicht angemessen.

Sehr leckeres Essen, aber leider unhöfliche Bedienungen und die Getränke lassen zu wünschen übrig.

Portionierungssystem ergibt garkein Sinn Service unterirdisch, 30 min warten für Getränke

Reinste Katastrophe! Nach dem Besitzerwechsel nicht mehr wieder zu erkennen! Es wird an allem gespart, dennoch sind die Preise hoch. Servicekraft ist lieb aber es kann nicht sein, dass es eine Servicekraft für das komplette Restaurant gibt. Wir haben 30min gewartet bis wir bestellt haben und anschließend 30min gewartet bis die Getränke ( 3 Cola, 2 Bier ) gekommen sind.

Wir hatten einen wirklich wunderschönen Besuch und möchten uns ganz besonders bei Yasin bedanken. Schon vom ersten Moment an wurden wir unglaublich herzlich empfangen und während des gesamten Aufenthalts aufmerksam, freundlich und mit viel Geduld bedient. So eine herzliche und aufrichtige Gastfreundschaft erlebt man heutzutage leider nur noch selten. Man hat sich von Anfang an willkommen und bestens aufgehoben gefühlt. Auch das Ambiente hat uns sehr gefallen. Das Restaurant ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet und schafft eine angenehme, gemütliche Atmosphäre. Die Speisen waren sehr schön angerichtet, mit viel Sorgfalt zubereitet und geschmacklich hervorragend. Die Portionen sind so gewählt, dass man verschiedene Gerichte probieren kann, was wir als sehr angenehm empfunden haben. Am meisten in Erinnerung bleibt uns jedoch die außergewöhnlich freundliche Bedienung. Für die Herzlichkeit, Geduld und die spürbare Freude am Umgang mit den Gästen möchten wir uns von Herzen bedanken. Wir sind sehr froh, dort gewesen zu sein, und kommen allein schon wegen dieser besonderen Gastfreundschaft gerne wieder.

Wir waren heute dort, die Karte wurde geändert, das Essen war wie aufgetaut, als die Geschäfte noch getrennt waren, war es definitiv besser, heute haben sie 5 Stammkunden verloren. ( Getränke Auswahl, gibt es nicht mehr)

Waren gestern mit 8 Personen (Betriebsausflug) in Saarbrücken, als Italienerin aus Gastronomiebranche, waren wir sehr enttäuscht vom Kellner und/oder Chef. Der etwas ältere (mit weissen Haaren) Kellner war von Beginn an sehr gereizt und nervös und unfreundlich. Neben uns ein Tisch mit 3 jungen Damen (und tiefer Blick ins Dekoltee) da war dieser Kellner megafreundlich. Als wir eine Runde Prosecco bestellten war seine Laune besser, aber nur für kurz. Der Geräuschpegel draussen war laut, er ermanhnte uns, seien zu laut. Als italienischer Gastronom fehlt "il cuore." Schade für ihn, hätten auch dort gegessen. Es scheint sind nur "Bekannte" oder VIP's erwünscht. Wenig von Trattoria ti amo.... es fehlt Amore. Es gibt ja Ausweichsmöglichten am St.Johanner Markt.

Vorher den Aperitivo in der ti amo Spritzeria nehmen oder auf einen freien Platz warten und dann im dolce vita schwelgen. Die Portionen in der ti amo trattoria sind so gewählt, dass man sich nicht zwischen Pasta oder Pizza entscheiden muss, sondern beides probieren kann. Und eine Vorspeise geht auch noch. Entweder allein oder gemeinsam zum Teilen. Pasta genau richtig al dente. Pizza knusprig und genau richtig belegt. Scharfes Messer zum Schneiden gibts hier auch. Was will man mehr. Das Konzept lädt zum Probieren und Teilen ein.

Ich war heute das erste Mal hier aber allerdings war es nicht schön Auf mein Wasser habe ich fast 15 Minuten gewartet. Bis ich überhaupt mal an ein Tisch kam dauert auch wenig Iu war viel schöner :(

Leider ein absoluter Rückschritt. Achtung: Die Bewertungen stammen noch vom vorherigen Restaurant. Neuer Besitzer, neues Logo und neue Speisekarte – heute heißt das Lokal „Ti Amo Trattoria“. Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal dort und leider total enttäuscht. Es war viel zu wenig Personal vor Ort, sodass wir ewig auf Getränke und Essen warten mussten. Die Portionen waren für die Preise deutlich zu klein und selbst die Gläser wurden nicht bis zum Rand gefüllt. Außerdem wurde die Speisekarte massiv reduziert. Kleine Portionen Nudeln mit Tomaten für 9 €? Die eher an eine Kinderportion erinnert. Davon wird man kaum satt! Man benötigt mindestens zwei Portionen. Insgesamt ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis einfach nicht stimmig. Auch die Angebote waren total verwirrend, da diese wohl nur für die „Spritzeria“ und nicht für die „Trattoria“ gelten sollen. Für uns wirkt das allerdings wie ein einziges Lokal, zumal das Personal dieselben Shirts trägt. Insgesamt war es kein schönes Erlebnis und wir werden definitiv nicht wiederkommen. Sehr schade, was aus dem früher so gut laufenden Laden geworden ist. Für uns hatte es leider den Eindruck, dass es nur noch ums Geld geht: zu wenig Personal, kleine Portionen und hohe Preise. Uns hat man als Kunden definitiv verloren.

Wir waren zu viert in besagtem Lokal. Wir saßen uns hin, da auf einem Schild das Angebot stand, dass alle Spritze 5€ kosten würden. Wir hatten eine Bedienung gefragt, ob man bei ihr bestellen könnte aber sie antwortete nur höflichst mit „Kollege“. Naja, 20 Minuten später kam sie erneut zu uns und wir konnten auf wundersamerweise bei ihr bestellen. Ihre Kollegen waren damit beschäftigt sämtliche andere Gäste, die man anscheinend persönlich kannte, zu begrüßen und ewig mit ihnen einen Plausch zu halten. Bei dieser Gelegenheit wurden wir darauf hingewiesen, dass das oben erwähnte Angebot nur für die Spritzeria und nicht für die Trattoria gelte. So kann man Gäste auch locken. Eine Person von uns bestellte eine Portion Spaghetti. Uns war klar, dass es kleine Portionen sein werden, aber was da kam, war eine Frechheit. Für 9€! zwei Gabeln Spaghetti… Das Essen kam auch vor den Getränken und ohne Besteck, was dann wieder nach minutenlangem Warten erst gebracht wurde. Was soll man da noch sagen? Nicht zu vergessen, dass die Gläser massivst unter dem Eichstrich gefüllt waren. Insgesamt kein gutes Erlebnis. Ein mal und nie wieder.

Wir waren Mittags zu dritt da, Service war flott, Essen kam schnell, war heiß und lecker. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen...

Schöne Location, Service ist ok. Leider ist bei einem Besuch eine bedauerliche Lebensmittel… usw… entstanden, welches meine Familie (3 Personen), außer Gefecht gesetzt hat. Sehr schade. Ergebnis war eine Woche krankgeschrieben.

Das IU Saarbrücken überzeugt vor allem durch seine zentrale Lage und die vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten – besonders der Außenbereich ist bei gutem Wetter ein echter Pluspunkt und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Bei unserem Besuch gab es allerdings etwas längere Wartezeiten bei den Getränken, was den Gesamteindruck leicht trübt. Positiv hervorzuheben ist hingegen, dass das Essen vergleichsweise schnell serviert wurde. Die Speisekarte ist bunt gemischt und bietet für viele Geschmäcker etwas, allerdings sind die Speisen eher solide als herausragend. Insgesamt ein gutes Lokal für einen entspannten Besuch in der Innenstadt, mit kleinen Schwächen im Servicebereich.

Wir hatten einen Tisch reserviert, bei unserer Ankunft war dieser dann aber noch besetzt und wir haben erstmal 10 Minuten gewartet bis wir uns setzen konnten, da war der Tisch aber auch noch nicht abgeräumt. Irgendwann später wurden dann mal die alten Gläser weggeräumt und wir mussten zweimal nach der Karte fragen. Wir haben den Kellner 3 mal rufen müssen bis wir endlich bestellen konnten. Maßlose Überforderung bei den Bedienungen. Naja als wir dann endlich mal bestellt hatten hat's dann auch nochmal gedauert bis die Getränke mal kamen (wir waren mittlerweile schon fast eine Stunde da!!!) Die Getränke waren ok, mehr nicht. Als wir dann endlich alles hatten fingen wir an Karten zu spielen, bis dann der Kellner kam und meinte man darf hier keine Karten mehr spielen, da das Lokal sonst zu viel Verlust machen und sie Profit brauchen. Der Kellner hat dann 15 Minuten mit uns diskutiert, dass der Chef das ja angeordnet hätte und der Chef im Recht ist und es ihnen um den Profit geht (wie groß kann das Eigentor sein dass man sich schiesst????) Und das alles nur weil ich zu ihm meinte er könnte ja weiterleiten dass das bei den Kunden nicht so gut ankommt. Wir sind dann gegangen. Ich komme nie mehr wieder.

Nettes Restaurant in schöner Lage. Auf der Karte ist für jeden etwas dabei. Service war sehr gut und Preis-Leistung ist o.k.

We spontaneously stopped in for a drink. Two cocktails and a beer. Friendly welcome and nice staff. The ambiance is very pleasant despite the ongoing renovations. The menu looked great, and the food looked delicious. Unfortunately, we had already eaten, otherwise we would have ordered something. The drinks were good, and the prices were very fair. We'd gladly come again... Today we were happy to return. Unfortunately, this experience was absolutely disappointing. Yesterday, there was a very attentive owner or manager who personally greeted every guest. He was sadly absent today. After standing around in the restaurant for five minutes, I approached a member of staff, but received no response. We then left, having decided to leave. Yesterday's rating would have been 5 stars, today's 0, making a total of 2. A shame.

An outstanding restaurant that impresses in every way! The service is superb – attentive, friendly, and always cheerful. The ambiance is simply wonderful and makes you feel instantly at ease. We were at IU this past Saturday and were shocked at what has become of this once fantastic place at Sankt Johanner Markt. It was an evening to forget. We waited forever for drinks, and the waiters seemed completely disorganized and overwhelmed. Then we found out that the place is under new management and were shocked at how negatively it affected things. We used to love spending Saturdays at IU, but now there's nothing there to justify making a reservation or even staying. Well, not entirely true... the food is still delicious despite the wait. The women's restrooms were also filthy. We won't be coming back; the competition at the market is just too fierce.

Instead of a fun, relaxing evening with friends, we were constantly yelled at by the staff and they tried to get us out of the place because there was "no room." There were very few highlights. Unfortunately, the staff got progressively worse over time, which is why I have to write this review. I'm a regular customer there and today I was treated like absolute garbage.

I'm a frequent visitor to ÏU. As a wheelchair user, I find all the staff friendly and helpful. Even the owner is always there when you need assistance, always friendly and kind. As a wheelchair user, it's not often you find such a welcoming atmosphere. Keep up the great work!

I was there with friends today; the service and organization are usually good. Today, after asking, we were finally allowed to sit at a table, but a waiter moved us twice because the tables were supposedly reserved, even though others were allowed to sit there. After we paid, he didn't even look at us, didn't say goodbye or anything, and just left. We never expected that. Rude and disrespectful. At least wishing you a nice evening or asking if everything is okay is part of good service. This has happened to this waiter several times before. He has black hair and wears glasses. What a shame! He didn't deserve a tip. You should always make yourself welcome!

Top staff, good food, top management

We were so impressed that we went back the next evening, even though we had originally planned differently. It was incredibly delicious, we barely had to wait for our food, and the service was very friendly. The idea of ​​combining South American and Asian cuisine is truly original. Unfortunately, we were only there on vacation, so we won't be back anytime soon. We especially recommend the beef slices (please keep them on the menu). The homemade lemonades are also worth trying. The homemade mojito shot is also fun. Thank you for two wonderful evenings.

I went to dinner with friends today for business. First of all, I think the option to reserve online is great. We got a great table, but were initially undecided about what to choose from. Ali, the manager, was incredibly supportive and explained with great humor what this cuisine has to offer. The food is amazing! This restaurant is worth a visit. I don't want to forget the service here. Dani is very attentive and always comes to the table at the right time. She never lets a guest out of her sight. No one has to wait for drinks. Here, gastronomy is lived and breathed. Kudos also to the people in the kitchen. Thank you for this wonderful evening 😀

A very nice restaurant located on St. Johanner Markt in the heart of Saarbrücken. A pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, good food and drinks at a reasonable price. Very attentive and friendly service (Daniela). All in all, a place you'll always enjoy visiting.

We went to IU for cocktails today, Saturday. The drinks were delicious and the service was extremely attentive. Everything was top-notch! The DJ at IU deserves special praise. Our group was unanimous! Definitely the best DJ we've ever heard in Saarbrücken. We'd love to come back.

The iü Saarbrücken impresses in every respect. The food is excellent and of consistently high quality. The staff are professional, attentive, and always friendly, which makes the visit particularly pleasant. The service is fast, reliable, and very well organized. The atmosphere is also perfect: a stylish venue, pleasant music, and a beautiful terrace, which is a real highlight, especially in summer. The central location also makes the iü easily accessible. An all-round successful concept – highly recommended!

I reserved a table and in the end didn't even get it

Superb food. Great atmosphere. We had the Red Dragon Curry and a cheeseburger. Everything was fresh and crispy. The service was also excellent. I definitely recommend it.

Unfortunately, I can't comment on the restaurant's birthday reservation for nine people on August 4, 2025. The opening hours had changed, but the reservation wasn't canceled. So, nine of us were left standing in front of a locked door. A phone call in the afternoon went unanswered. The complaint was supposed to be forwarded to the manager, who clearly wasn't interested. Of course, the contact details were available from the reservation. The day before, I even received an email in which I had to actively confirm the reservation again. Later on the phone, all they said was that they had changed the opening hours and she didn't know what else to say. It would be forwarded. That was four days ago. Nothing so far.

We went to IU with our friends on Saturday before the disco. The food (we had a few snacks): was very good and fresh. The cocktails were also very good, albeit a bit more expensive, but the alcohol was of high quality. We often come on Saturdays because of the good music from the DJ. It's unique in Saarbrücken and definitely one of the best DJs in town. Everything from house, pop, hip hop, and Latino is played, and we always enjoy it. All in all, the menu is top-notch, especially on Saturdays at IU. I always recommend the Caesar salad and the burgers. We'll be back.

We wanted a matcha drink. It was out of stock. We were told they would make something similar that would taste the same. We ended up getting a chai latte. Something completely different. It was acknowledged, but we still had to pay.

However, the waiter (a man in his mid-twenties with dark hair) took the liberty of leaving a tip without telling me and didn't bring me the receipt so I could check it, as I'd requested. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. The service was very unfriendly and not customer-oriented. We would have liked to stay the whole evening, as the location is actually very nice. Unfortunately, the service meant we couldn't.

Three of us visited your restaurant/bar today and arrived at 10:10 p.m. to enjoy a few drinks. After finding a seat, we waited for about 13 minutes without being served, even though the waiter with glasses had seen us. Since no one came, I finally went inside to order something myself – unfortunately, to no avail. As I was leaving, the waiter approached me. I mentioned that we would like a drink. However, his response was not very friendly (the waiter with glasses) – he told us in a brusque tone that the restaurant closes at 11:00 p.m., even though your website states 11:30 p.m. After consulting with his colleague, we were finally allowed to order something. The drinks were brought to our table, but the waiter (who wears glasses) immediately pointed out that we needed to "drink quickly." We found this unpleasant. We hurriedly finished our drinks, paid, and left the restaurant. We noticed that another table—with two women—was allowed to continue sitting quietly and enjoying their drinks. We found the way the waiter treated us disrespectful and inappropriate. It would be nice if future guests were greeted with more courtesy and equal treatment.

Honestly, the food here is simply amazing! Absolutely delicious, no matter what you order. You can tell right away that they put their heart into it. The people here are incredibly friendly, fast, and everything is super clean. You just feel at home right away. This definitely won't be my last time; I'll definitely be back!
