Wir haben uns für das Rindfilet Wellington Menü entschieden & waren begeistert! Das Wellington war sehr lecker aber die beiden Vorspeisen waren definitiv unser Highlight. Die intensiven Aromen mit den unterschiedlichen Texturen haben uns kulinarisch auf eine Reise geschickt. Für den sehr zuvorkommenden, professionelle & herzliche Service möchten wir uns bedanken. In terms of taste, this visit was an absolute experience. We looked forward to the vegan five-course menu for a long time and were not disappointed. Every single course impressed us, especially the stuffed zucchini flowers and the tart with mustard ice cream were fantastic. The service was also friendly, warm and attentive. There was a wonderful wine recommendation; In summary, we felt very comfortable. We were certainly not here for the last time.

We had a very pleasant evening at Colette Konstanz. The warm welcome and the successful start made us feel positive. We decided on a menu without wine accompaniment, but we were given very good and suitable wine suggestions. The food was excellent – creative, tasteful and presented with attention to detail. However, to arrive at a 5 star rating, I see two aspects that could be improved: Quality of service over the course of the evening: While the beginning was promising, the attention of the staff noticeably decreased over time. Empty glasses were not automatically refilled and there was a frequent change in service which affected continuity. Orders were sometimes forgotten and were only brought when asked. Coziness: The tables are placed comfortably far apart, which creates a positive atmosphere. However, although the seating furniture is stylistically appropriate, it is not comfortable enough for a longer, relaxed culinary stay. Optimization here would significantly improve the overall impression. Sanitary facilities and cleanliness: The overall cleanliness was ok. The sanitary facilities didn't quite meet the standards of an upscale restaurant: the garbage baskets were overflowing and the furnishings appeared only mediocre. Overall, a lovely evening with excellent cuisine, but some room for improvement in the service and atmosphere.

Auch wenn wir uns über die Interviews von Tim Raue ärgern, in denen er das Konstanzer Restaurantpublikum niedermacht, gehen wir doch immer wieder ins "Colette". Nicht seinetwegen, sondern wegen des leckeren, unkomplizierten und doch raffiniert gewürzten Essens und den netten, aufmerksamen und professionell arbeitendem Personal. Die Menüs könnten meinem Geschmack nach häufiger ausgetauscht werden - ich habe früher das Menü des Monats geliebt! -, auch sind die Preise nicht unerheblich angestiegen, aber dennoch sind die Gerichte ihren Preis wert. Wir hatten als Vorspeise zweimal Fischsuppe, einmal Feldsalat und Artischocke mit drei Dips (mein Favorit), als Hauptgang dreimal Boeuf Bourguinon (toll abgeschmeckt) und einmal Steak frites mit Sauce Baernaise und zum Dessert zweimal Crème brulée, einmal Manuka Honig und für mich wieder den Käse, der eine besondere Qualität hat. Insgesamt alles sehr gelungen.

Celebrate New Year's Eve in Konstanz at Colette? A good idea! At this turn of the year (2024/25), the brasserie was tastefully and reasonably modestly decorated, the service was attentive and the French live music was the way background music should be: in the background. And the food? Rather sea-oriented, but also imaginative and extremely tasty even for those who don't particularly like fish. A small disclaimer: a glass of champagne to toast at midnight on the house would have been a nice gesture given the price of the menu...

The name is too big... Unfortunately our stay was a complete disappointment! There were four of us and we ordered the Colette menu. After repeated requests, we were allowed to swap individual dishes in the menu order. Separate calculations or reductions or surcharges were explicitly denied. You have to be aware that the name Tim Raue attracts customers and also represents a special obligation due to the price structure. And unfortunately that was completely disappointed. For wine we ordered a biodynamic wine from the Languedoc. After pointing out that it was clearly too warm, I was reprimanded that it came from the wine cooler and that couldn't be the case. The red wine was then left to its unattended fate in a champagne cooler filled to the brim with ice cubes. There were good moments in the menu itself, but there were disasters. At Pulpo, the leaves of the lettuce hearts were rotten and were replaced immediately after a short notice. How would Tim Raue have found such a leaf at The Taste spoon...? Everything else was good. The pepper steak was excellently prepared, but it had been under the “sun” for a very long time, so that the sauce had already set and the fat had separated... Very unfortunate. After requesting the invoice, we should all pay the individual prices for each of the 5 dishes per person. Despite asking several times beforehand, the manager treated us as stupid and downright insulted that we had to pay extra for steak. We would have that too, but it was previously denied. In addition, the individual courses for two people would be below the menu price and of course in this case we would have paid the additional price of the menu. The manager briefly told one person not to speak, then corrected the bill and then left us alone to look for the cloakroom. So in itself it was an unfortunately very sad evening and we hope that it was an isolated incident.

The restaurant impresses with its location on the 1st floor directly on the Konstanz market square. The stylish staircase leads directly into the cozy rooms, where we were warmly welcomed. Everything went smoothly with our reservation and we were promptly shown to our table. The vegan 5-course menu we chose turned out to be a real taste explosion - every dish was a little work of art. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and the next culinary journey of discovery!

Unfortunately, this food is a lot of puffed up air with no substance. Scallops tough as rubber that gave me diarrhea. Pork bacon that kills the tuna flavor. Lots of over-seasoned sauces that mask any taste and cover overcooked vegetables. Our impression: there is no longer a chef in this kitchen. It's a prep and prep kitchen with no freshness or timing. No more!

Die Speisen waren in Ordnung, abgesehen von dem sehr dürftigen Salat, und die Preise angemessen. Wir hatten reserviert (ohne einen bestimmten Platz anzugeben), und die Terrasse war bei unserer Ankunft noch leer - aber die etwas schnippische Bedienung meinte, wir sollten im dunklen Innenraum bleiben. Mit etwas gutem Zureden ging's dann doch. Von der Terrasse hatten wir einen schönen Ausblick auf das Leben und Treiben in der Fußgängerzone in der Altstadt. Nettes Geschenk zum Abschied: ein Glas mit sauren Gurken, die mir gut geschmeckt hatten. Suboptimal: ein voller Aschenbecher auf der Ablage an der Wand, direkt hinter meinem Stuhl.

Great food, enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately the service was limited. No steak knife was brought with the steak, you had to pour yourself the wine and when eating only the first and last courses were beautifully presented and explained at the table. I know I complain at a high level, but when it comes to the reviews I expect a touch of perfection. A piece of France on Lake Constance! The Colette Brasserie in Konstanz is an absolute highlight for all lovers of French cuisine. As soon as you enter the stylishly furnished restaurant, you feel like you are in a chic bistro in Paris. The service is attentive and warm, you immediately feel welcome. The menu offers an excellent selection of French classics - from delicate entrecôte to heavenly desserts such as crème brûlée. Particularly noteworthy are the fresh ingredients and creative preparation, which give each dish a special touch. The wine selection is also excellent and offers the right accompaniment to every menu. Another plus point: The location right in the city center of Konstanz is perfect for taking a walk by the lake after a nice meal. All in all, a culinary experience at the highest level! I will definitely be back and can highly recommend Colette Brasserie.

Enjoyed the “Tim Raue” menu last week. The first two courses of pulp and young peas were a great start, the taste was really great, and the peas had a lot in them. Awesome. Unfortunately it continued with “too much taste”, salt, acid, sugar became too much. The Comme un Pho was beautifully presented. But instead of serving the broth separately, it was simply poured on top, so everything was lost and only tasted like salty broth. The Pyrenean acorn pork is similar, small piece of pork (already done) with some delicious pulled pork on it. But here too there was a balsamic/cherry/red wine marinade that made everything taste like a strong balsamic loaf (as a main course, €40 was definitely too much). So sometimes it's really great, sometimes it's not well implemented for the requirements.

Vermutlich war unsere Erwartungshaltung zu hoch, nachdem wir Menüpreise für ein 4-Gang-Menü bei Euro 115.— gesehen hatten. Besteck aus der Blechdose, kein Gruss aus der Küche, lange Wartezeiten, lautes Gerschirrgeklapper aus der Küche/Schank, bei Laktoseintoleranz anstatt des buttergetränkten Brioche nicht mal ein Stück normales Brot, beim Filet-Wellington hätte unser Fleisch ruhig 1-2 cm kleiner sein dürfen, dafür hätten wir eine Gemüsegarnitir geschätzt, Wein nachschenken mussten wir selber und auch bei der Rechnung kein ‚Schokolädchen‘ etc. Für uns alle deshalb ein recht enttäuschendes Erlebnis. Sorry, aber wir kommen vermutlich nicht wieder.

Die Terrasse im 1.OG ist wunderschön und die Vorspeisen waren absolut phantastisch. Als Hauptspeise hatte ich ein Rinderfilet. Dieses wurde jedoch leider nicht wie bestellt medium serviert, sondern war bis auf einen schmalen Streifen durchgebraten. Als ich das Steak zurückgehen ließ, wollte der Ober eine Diskussion mit mir führen, dass das Medium sei und die Küche nichts falsch gemacht hätte. Dummerweise hatten wir am Vorabend in der Brasserie Petrus in Bregenz ein Filet, das perfekt gebraten war.

We were at the Brasserie Colette in Konstanz on August 25th. It offers attentive service and the wine recommendation was also very good. Unfortunately, there were also some disappointing aspects. The seafood we ordered could have been a lot fresher. The dishes were also mostly unconvincing in terms of taste. The tartare felt like it wasn't seasoned at all. Another negative point was the handling at the end of our visit. Instead of a regular invoice, we were presented with a proforma invoice and asked twice if we could pay the amount of €300 in cash. Only when we said no did we receive the official invoice. We found this to be unprofessional. Overall, the visit left a mixed impression. While the service was convincing in parts, there is a clear need for improvement in the quality of the food and payment processing.

Very tasty menu that you can enjoy comfortably outside on a great terrace. Very child-friendly, equipped with a high chair and painting supplies as well as an extra children's meal. There was also non-alcoholic gin and wine, great!

Very nice atmosphere and very honest food. You can feel the French touch. The service was also excellent, except for a glass of red wine, which was apparently forgotten with the main course due to being overwhelmed. Otherwise, great artichoke with dip was very tasty and also fish and meat Point and fresh as well as vegetarian dishes tip top. The alienation of the tiramisu was too extreme for us and you actually expect a little amuse Geule at these prices.

A beautiful place, great ambience, service like you don't often experience and the food is simply incredibly good. At the beginning an aperitif "New York Sour", super tasty to start. Then oysters "Plat d'huîtres", prawns and pulp, all without exception a delight. Main course 3 x steak with fries and the tuna "Niçoise", fries with bone marrow how awesome 😊 and the meat tender as butter. The fish was also excellently cooked. The absolute hammer came at the end, "Sorbet de citron", there's so much going on in the mouth, I've never eaten anything like that before. The chocolate mousse was also great, but the sorbet was a little better. What else needs to be mentioned is the friendly and courteous service, from the waitress to the wine expert who introduced us to the wines. So everything together is a culinary experience that is second to none. So if you happen to be in Konstanz, be sure to stop by. By the way, price/performance is also more than fair.

Dear Colette Team Konstanz, I would like to come to you when I am in Konstanz. Strictly speaking, I always come to you when I'm in Konstanz. The Colette Tim Raue is always a reliable address for good food, whether in Munich, Berlin or Konstanz. The French 75 is particularly good because it is available here in Konstanz with a “foam”, probably egg white. I miss that in Berlin, because when I ask, I don't get any "foam" on top. Classics like the Pulpo with veal head or the Shrimp Marocain are always available and, in my experience, in perfection. But the menus, which change from time to time, also offer something to suit every palate. Even the vegan menu is anything but boring and is a real pleasure to eat. I would like to award 4.5 points, which unfortunately the rating system does not allow for. Because in the end I only have two comments. The service does its job very well. I rarely see such competent specialist staff. However, I would still like it to be a little more relaxed and not so stiff. Anyone who knows the Colette in Berlin will know what I mean. The second point and actual point of criticism is the current version of the bouillabaisse. She's the only thing I've ever been dissatisfied with. It's always on the menu. But the way it's currently served, it's really not a feast for the palate. The stock is too thin, not strong enough in taste, the fish is not fried but only warmed briefly in the steamer. So the fish then swam in the “under-seasoned stock”. Unfortunately, as is classic, toasted bread, roullie sauce and grated cheese were not served. Here I recommend that the kitchen team take a short trip to Markelfingen, which is not far away. There you can get a bouillabaisse as it should be right in the station building for half the price. Otherwise all I can say is, "great house, very nice atmosphere - especially on the terrace, and definitely always worth a visit!"

We were in the Brasserie Colette in Konstanz for the first and definitely not the last time. The restaurant is very harmonious and the atmosphere is pleasant. But above all, all the dishes were wonderful, surprising and with that certain something.

Beautiful, tasty, recommended. A real alternative to the sometimes very touristy restaurants. A very successful introduction to the menu are the pickles, which, according to the staff, are picked personally by Tim Raue in the Spree Forest.🤣🤣🤣

We were absolutely thrilled. Even when we messed up the menu, no problem was dealt with brilliantly by the staff and delivered exactly as ordered. The only negative point is that if you don't eat spicy food or can't eat it, you should let the staff know, who will then suggest alternative dishes. Well deserved five stars, I will definitely recommend the restaurant. 👍👍👍👍👍

We booked a table at La Colette in Konstanz. We ordered Tim Raues Recommendation. We asked the waiter if he could help explain what to expect with the main dish. It was Goat (ZIGER ) He explained it was his first day, so we said ok. We will just give it a go and ordered. Later a girl came by and said the waiter said we needed help with the order. We said we already ordered, but were interested what to expect with the goat. To make the story short she recommended us another menu - The fillet Wellington. We agreed, still not knowing anything about the goat. The Filet Wellington was not delicious. The herbs mainly,( probably ) Rosemary were so overpowering, it spoilt the whole fillet. Also hardly a taste of Truffle sauce, definitely no wow effect and too little sauce. Dessert old and stale, what a shame. The best of the evening were the Gherkins and the first starter (prawn with lychee ). The second starter the pulpyo had a dry boring salad slice on it, that's why 2 stars, though I was torn to give 1 star. Espresso Martini far too sweet. Had to always put our hands up for the attention of the waiters and it was not even busy. At the end the waiter did not even bother to bring our change back but decided to keep it as tips. Cheeky ! Not a highlight experience for such a high price, you could/ should expect much more !

We had a really nice and delicious evening here. The food is definitely worth the price. I had the shrimp and the asparagus - both tasted outstanding. I would also like to praise the service. He is extremely attentive, courteous and very friendly. I think the next time we are in Konstanz we will have dinner here again. 😋

Nice restaurant and friendly staff. We had a table by the window, nice but unfortunately uncomfortable due to the distance between the bench and the table. So we moved. We had a menu for dinner. It was all very tasty, but not flawless. The pulpo was hard (grilled too long?) and the dessert was not fresh (the waiter confirmed this upon request). The food was really tasty, but at €200 per person everything has to be right or close to it, hence only 4 out of 5 stars.
