Nice restaurant near the harbor in the pedestrian zone

We ate there last night. The pasta was delicious. Unfortunately, the side salad was way overpriced at over nine euros. That's just not realistic anymore. No one was very friendly or attentive.

The food was freshly prepared, beautifully presented, and tasted excellent. You can tell that quality is a priority here. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the visit even more enjoyable. A restaurant I can definitely recommend; we'll be happy to return.

Cake falls apart and was served flimsy... Doesn't taste good and is way too expensive

The arugula pizza with mascarpone unfortunately had too little topping. The crust was too thick and not crispy. Two small scoops of mascarpone. I didn't like it, unfortunately.

The seating is very comfortable. The prices are a bit high, but you're happy to pay for the good food and ice cream. The food tastes great here. And the servers are all friendly.

I ate there on Sunday, May 4th, and the menu and service were good. However, when I went to the restroom, I was truly shocked. It was completely unclean and chaotic...it looked like a battlefield. Overflowing trash cans, no toilet paper or paper towels. None of the staff even looked; nobody cared. The main thing was that the cash register was correct. Simply embarrassing for a brasserie that looks so great on the outside. You're not allowed to look behind the scenes...

Zugegebenermaßen war das Restaurant an diesem Abend nicht ganz voll, aber es war sehr gemütlich hinter der großen Verglasung am hohen Tisch zu sitzen und den Gästen auf der Terrasse und dem Platz zuzusehen. Der Service ist sehr bemüht und hat für uns eine Nachfrage extra mit der Küche abgeklärt. Die Nudelgerichte sind sehr lecker und sehr reichlich. Die Preise können je nach Gericht auch sehr teuer sein. Das Chez Léon ist ein ehr gemütliches Restaurant, welches wir weiterempfehlen können.

Chez León es un muy buen restaurante en la ciudad de Constanza, tal vez el mejor allí en lo que respecta a platos de pescado. La decoración en el interior es escasa; de hecho, apenas hay. A pesar de eso, es un lugar donde uno se siente a gusto y cómodo. La música es muy baja, por lo que no puede ser considerado como perturbador. El personal es muy amable y servicial, y su servicio es impecable. La comida es excelente, muy sabrosa y cocinada de una manera muy profesional. Pedí un besugo de cabeza dorada en el horno y verduras a la parrilla y me gustó mucho todo. El pescado fue uno de los mejores besugos que he comido. Pizzas were ok but service terrible as the German standard. Had to get several waiters attention to get a table, to order and to get the bill.

Spaghetti carbonara and fried octopus were excellent. The service was very attentive, friendly and helpful (packing up the rest). However, the prices reflect that the restaurant is in the center of the tourist flow.

Sunday was frustrating with low staffing levels and long waits,however the *Кitchen is absolutely beautiful, everything was delicious and fresh, fish soup 👌

Luckily we landed here on a very cold morning on Lake Constance. Great breakfast, moderate prices (for restaurants near the lake!) Would be happy again 👍

I had the spaghetti scampi and a rosé. The spaghetti was wonderful and the rosé was very tasty. The waiter was incredibly efficient, he cleaned up this huge room quickly and friendly. I liked it very much. Very mixed, pleasant audience.

The service was very friendly. However, I find a surcharge of 1.50 euros for lactose-free milk to be outrageous. A small cup of cappuccino costs just under 6 euros. This is overpriced even for Konstanz standards.

We were at Chez Leon today. You sit very comfortably. We had a rump steak and a pork loin steak. Both tasted excellent, the Argentinian rump steak was particularly outstanding. Recommended.

Wir waren heute im Chez Leon. Man sitzt gemütlich, Service freundlich. Wir hatten ein Rumpsteak und ein Schweinerückensteak. Beides war sehr gut, vor allem das argentinische Rumpsteak war herausragend. Klare Empfehlung.

Visited for breakfast on christmas day. Only decent restaurant open in the entire city. Food was great and amazing value, service was very friendly and efficient. Great atmosphere and view to the street. Couldn't recommend this place more.

In December 2024 we were in Konstanz for the weekend and passed Chez Léon while strolling through the city. The restaurant looked inviting and although it seemed busy, we spontaneously went in to ask for a table. We were immediately greeted in a friendly manner, the waiter knew directly about his tables and offered us a seat that had just become available. The service continued as well as it started. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. We ordered onion soup and a small salad in advance. For the main course, duck breast and Argentine rump steak. All in all very tasty, the meat was on point, even now that I think about it my mouth is watering. Clear recommendation.

We are here again and again, today on December 27th. again. The food is excellent and the staff is extremely professional and friendly. It's also nice that we can eat there with the dog.

The decor is cozy and inviting and the staff are helpful and friendly. The food was 50/50 as the daily/lunch menu was excellent with pork medallions but the tagliatelle with veal ragout and porcini mushrooms was bland. The pizza was ok, could have been hotter, but the base was nice and thin and crispy and soft. The tiramisu could use more amaretti, but it was nice and light. All in all, we would come back but wouldn't order pasta again.

We had lunch here with fish and pumpkin risotto. Although it was very nicely prepared, it was unfortunately very tasteless and nothing special at all. Unfortunately the price/performance ratio is not right here!

Une très belle terrasse donnant sur l’étang de Berre, un service efficace et d’excellentes galettes de Sarrazin font de cette crêperie revisitée une valeur sûre, d’autant que le glacier « Le Quillié », situé au sommet du village, appartient au même propriétaire et propose d’excellentes glaces … + de 50 parfums, sur une terrasse exceptionnelle !

Wenn man für 2 Stück Kuchen und 2 Cappuccino 20 Euro auf den Tisch legen muss dann finde ich das schon absolut grenzwertig. Preise wie in der Schweiz. Garantiert gehe ich da nie mehr hin. Eine Unverschämtheit !!

Vorab: Sicherlich schon 20 oder 30 mal hier gewesen. Es gibt hier und da mal einen Ausrutscher. Die Parmigiana, ich weiß nicht ob es die noch gibt, ist nicht so der Brenner. Das war die Kritik Pizza und Pasta sind wirklich sehr gut. In der Carbonara zum Beispiel, findet man tatsächlich Guanciale. Die Fleisch und Fischgerichte sind leider recht teuer geworden, aber das ist in Konstanz halt Standard geworden. Besonders zu erwähnen ist der Service. Immer! freundlich und immer das Auge am Gast. Das ist schon klasse. Darum 4 Sterne.

Chez Léon is quite okay. I don't think the food tastes particularly good, but it's not bad either. The fries I ordered were not good and the pizza, which I have ordered twice, was always very oily. But I think you should make your own experience as my friends tend to have very good opinions. A little expensive for my taste but the location is pretty cool.

Large pleasant terrace for a meal on a summer evening... Simple, original, but really tasty brasserie cuisine with large portions and refined tastes... a very pleasant surprise with the quality of the dishes. TOP... Decent service. Very reasonable price for the quality of the plates. PS: For dessert the ice creams are Top... I recommend a little lunch break at Chez Léon if you are a little hungry 😉 with a good German mousse, of course 🤣

Nog nooit zo slecht gegeten. Varkensfilet die zo droog en taai was, kon nauwelijks een mes doorheen. Rumpsteak die vol met zenen en vet zat. Een ober die geen enkel excuus aanbod. Kortom nooit meer!!

Bon service, bonne nourriture et un bon restaurant pour qui veux manger local ou pas. Tout était excelente! J'adore visiter les restaurants que garde tous les respects pour l'ancienne gastronomie! Bravo à toute l'équipe!

The tastiest pizza I've eaten in a long time. Prices are okay too.

Die Bedienung war sehr nett. Das Essen dagegen eher nicht! Der Avocado Salat war eher ein gemischter Salat mit Avocado. Wenig Avocado dafür viel Grünzeug und einige Tranchen Lachs. Die Lasagne mit Kalbsragout war ziemlich ungewöhnlich mit grossen Fleischstücken und sehr trocken gebacken. Die Sauce war verdunstet und die trockene Resten klebten am Rand. Schade! Das war mal ein gutes Restaurant.

Ambiance is pleasant and terrace is very large. Croissants are great, the rest is ok. 7 slices of baguette for 2 people is kind of weird. Coffee is rather strongly roasted. There are many wasps nearby and the restaurant is unfortunately not allowed to use traps here, so allergy sufferers need to be careful.

Once again we were at Chez Léon on a wonderful summer evening. Great tapas first, great grilled sea bream (whole fish!) and delicious risotto with shrimp as the main course. Very nice evening with great service and very good price/performance ratio.

I hope i wasnt rude to the waitress - my first words were " How long will our order take?". This is a rude start and i felt bad, but we had a tour bus to catch and it has already left one person behind for being late! The food and drinks were quick, and excellent. In summer it's actually nice to sit outside and safe from the rain. But also under very dirty umbrellas and right next to the car queue to the nearby parking garage, which makes things uncomfortable. The shop and the food have a French touch. The food and selection wasn't bad, but a bit, how shall I say, over the top for my taste. Service good, card payments without rolling your eyes, toilets okay. Overall good, but not great.

Habe extra eine Tisch für dem Abend reserviert, da ich meinen Geburtstag mit meiner Frau bei einem guten Essen feiern wollte. Habe es bei der Reservierung den Grund angegeben. Eigentlich war dies umsonst. Wir haben irgendeinen Tisch bekommen . Die Bestellung war eher langfristig, weil sich niemand um uns gekümmert hat. Man musste immer wieder nachfragen, wann den unsere Getränke endlich kommen. auf den bestellten Fisch haben wir mehr als 40 Minuten gewartet. Das einzig Positive war, dass der Fisch gut war. Wir haben auf weitere Bestellung ( Dessert) verzichtet und haben das Lokal verlassen

The minute I entered I felt it is a very nice place to have lunch or dinner. The waiters wear white shirts, which assures me this is the right choice, a very clean restaurant, the ambience is so Cosy, quiet and respectful. I would definitely come back here.
