Discovered by chance because of the holiday, this was the only restaurant that was actually open according to Google search. Service was super fast and the portions were gigantic. The food was super tasty and relatively authentic (of course always with a bit of a European touch). Great value for money! 👍🏻

Von mehreren Seiten wird das Lokal als einer der besten Vietnamesen in Köln beschrieben. Leider kann davon nicht die Rede sein. Das Ambiente ist dürftig, ein Blick in die Toilette bestätigt diesen Eindruck. Das Essen ist mittelmäßig und entspricht nicht im geringsten dem Niveau, das wir selbst in den einfachsten Restaurants in Vietnam genießen durften. Sollten Sie sich einen schönen Abend machen wollen, meiden Sie das Restaurant.

Die Lieferung hat leider viel länger gedauert, als angegeben wurde. Die Zeiten haben sich zwei mal verlängert um mehr als 10min. Wahrscheinlich, so dem Livetracking zuentnehmen, war der Fahrer noch vorher an einem anderen Lieferort. Das ist grundsätzlich ok, doch mein Essen war kalt!

For me it has little to do with Vietnamese cuisine. Photos of the dishes after my first (and last) visit are attached. Rice rolls should be with fish. But it tasted like crispy chicken. The sweet sauce was assured to me as Nức Mam. Only when I asked did I get the soy sauce that tasted more like it. Spring rolls very crispy. There was less of the chicken filling to be seen. 6.50 euros per dish is actually OK. But given the very manageable amount of material used, estimated at a maximum of 50 cents (2 leaves of iceberg lettuce 10 cents, a few rice noodles 10 cents, chicken 20 cents, rice paper 10 cents), this should enable a reasonable profit margin for the cost-intensive catering industry. Sorry, after already having an authentic knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine, this has little or nothing to do with it. Also interesting that there is not a word of Vietnamese food on the menu (maybe except Pho Bo). But there are English translations. And otherwise there is a lot on the menu that doesn't seem Vietnamese but rather cross-Asian. Given the long queues in front of the restaurant, especially at the weekend, I wanted to test it out. Staying true, finding the delicious yet simple Việt cuisine in Cologne is not easy....😔

Good tasty lunch specials. In terms of price it's mid-range, but the taste is very good. Often the first address in the district when it comes to Asian cuisine. I have also ordered via Uber several times and so far everything has worked fine.

I recently dined at this restaurant and was blown away by the flavors! The tofu, fried with turmeric, paired with curry and rice, was absolutely delicious. The seasoning was perfect, and the tofu had a wonderful texture. I also had the soup with dumplings, and it was incredibly flavorful. The dumplings themselves were a real treat – soft, well-cooked, and packed with filling. Everything was so well-balanced and full of flavor. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a tasty and satisfying meal!

- Aperitifs bestehen fast nur aus Prosecco - Sommerrollen sind zu 70% mit Reisnudeln bzw Reis gefüllt - Dumplings waren tot frittiert und hatten wenig einseitige Füllung und waren auf ein paar Salatfetzen angerichtet - Ente war ok, aber nichts besonderes und dafür zu teuer Personal ist aber sehr nett und das Hauptgericht war eine große Portion - immerhin.

Ich habe am Montag Abend Essen bei Bonjour Saigon bestellt, habe ich doch lange in der Nachbarschaft gelebt :) Es dauerte ca. eine halbe Stunde bis geliefert wurde. Es war köstlich, das Schwein war geschmort, der Salat super frisch. Toll wäre ein Dip zu den Wan Tan gewesen.

Delicious. Particularly noteworthy is the additive-free cuisine. The main course comes in sufficiently generous portions. The curries are particularly recommended. You can even see the drinks menu. Hot, cold, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from tart to sweet are available. Even cocktails for interested guests. Offering direct access to the street isn't great, but it gets quieter late at night. Opening times comfortable until 11:30 p.m. are a positive exception.

A little ice in the drinks would be good on warm days ;)

I ordered ramen soup and, to be on the safe side, mentioned my nut allergy when ordering. There are usually no nuts in this dish - but I like to point out my allergy just to be on the safe side. When I was presented with the bowl, there were pieces of ground peanuts at the top - some of which had already fallen into the soup alongside the other ingredients. My friend tried it and confirmed my suspicions. When I asked the waitresses about it and pointed out my nut allergy again, the waitresses initially denied that it was peanuts and when I held it under their noses, they admitted “maybe the chef had dropped something in the bowl”. That really doesn't work at all. A nut allergy is dangerous, it shouldn't happen.

Recommend this address 100% Food was super delicious. Service very friendly and very quick. The ambience is nice but a bit too loud due to the proximity to the street (I sat on the outside terrace). Card payment possible. Terrace seating is a bit cramped but there is more space inside. Nevertheless, I think you could also sit outside with a wheelchair. I'll definitely stop by again when I'm in the area. I found the prices very pleasant. You can also go here comfortably with the whole family or in large groups. The dishes are also suitable for sharing. I can't say anything about parking this time because I used public transport.

Bonjour Saigon in Cologne is a charming eatery that I recently visited. The atmosphere is simple but cozy. I chose the M1 dish from the lunch menu. The food was good overall, but the soy sauce was a bit too dominant for my taste. This somewhat overshadowed the taste of the dish. However, what I didn't like so much is that my clothes smelled strongly of food after visiting the restaurant. This was a bit unpleasant and I would have liked the place to be better ventilated to avoid this smell. All in all, my visit to Bonjour Saigon in Cologne was fine. The food was good, although a little over-spiced, and the ambience was simple but cozy. However, the smell that clung to my clothes was a bit disturbing after visiting the restaurant. I hope the eatery takes action to resolve this issue in the future.

While my experience at bonjour Saigon had its highlights, such as the delicious spring rolls and good curry with rice (the spicy/tangy garlic Sauce is excellent), I found some aspects to be lacking. The soup, unfortunately, lacked flavor, and the dessert portion sizes, particularly for the mochi and sweet potato cake, were quite small considering the price. However, the combination of flavors in the desserts was enjoyable, especially with the whipped cream. Overall, it was a mixed experience with both positives and areas for improvement.

Leider sehr Teuer und nicht wie früher .Ich habe Fischfile bestellt aber haben wir Fisch voll paniert auf die sauce bekommen ohne Nüsse ohne Blumen u. sie hat mich angelogen , dass immer so war . Ich gehe nicht mehr dahin ,weil ich sie denken nur auf Geld 💰 Eistee 5.5 Euro und schmeckt nur Wasser und Zucker 🤮🤮🤮🤮

In addition to the dumplings, the soup contained various vegetables and glass noodles. The doneness of the ingredients was very good and the broth was delicious. However, the dumplings would have tasted better unfried as a soup addition, as they were of course completely softened in the broth. The main course tasted good. Unfortunately the meat was a bit dry. When serving, it would make more sense to place the meat on the pasta and not on the salad. In general there was a lot of hectic activity on site. The service was constantly gesticulating and discussing a lot among themselves. The friendliness and commitment varied depending on the service person.

Just ordered veggie ramen - delivery within half an hour & the food was delivered very well packaged. Ramen / side dishes & broth each in plastic cups :) tasty and delicious, I haven't eaten such delicious ramen in a long time. The tofu just tasted a bit bland. Can't fault anything else.

Ich bin durch eine Empfehlung zum Bonjour Saigon gekommen. Die Begrüßung war nett und das Ambiente ist okay, aber nicht wirklich landestypisch. Aber mir ging es auch mehr um das Essen. Die Auswahl finde ich mehr als ausreichend, wenn man Fleisch isst. Für mich als Vegetarier hätte ich mir etwas mehr Auswahl gewünscht. Trotzdem habe ich etwas sehr leckeres gefunden. Die Portion des Hauptgerichts ist wirklich groß. Hier sollte jeder satt werden. Gefehlt hat mir etwas Würze/Schärfe, aber das kann man selber mit sambal oelek nachwürzen und somit die Schärfe selber bestimmen. Wirklich super finde ich, dass Tiger Beer angeboten wird.

Hervorragende Auswahl an authentischen Gerichten, köstliche Aromen und aufmerksamer Service. Unbedingt ausprobieren!

Das essen ist fantastisch. Von der Suppe über die sommerrollen bis zum Curry kann man alles empfehlen. Frisch, mit nüsschen und grünzeug dekoriert... einfach köstlich. Da der Laden oft sehr voll ist, wartet man manchmal länger auf sein Essen. An anderen Tagen geht es wahnsinnig schnell.... eine Reservierung empfiehlt sich. Ich gehe immer wieder gerne ins bonjour Saigon.

Das Essen war sehr lieblos und einfach schlecht. Mein Teller war schmutzig und auf meinem Essen lag eine Schraube. Das Essen wurde nicht ausgetauscht, die Schraube und die Tapetenkrümel wurden nur abkratzt von der oberen Schicht und der Teller wurde mir wieder vorgesetzt. Das Essen wurde mir trotzdem berechnet, ich probierte jedoch nur von den Tellern meiner Schwestern.

Ziemlich schlechte Qualität vom Essen. Ich verstehe, dass man oft das Essen „eindeutschen“ muss, um dem lokalen Geschmack zu entsprechen. Aber das Essen war wirklich geschmacklich extrem schlecht und unauthentisch. Zudem war bei einem von uns eine Schraube im Essen und die Teller waren dreckig.

Schönes Ambiente, Tische mit verstellbaren elektrischen Leuchten. Das Personal war zwar freundlich, aber es dauerte lange, bis jemand zu meinem Tisch kann, obwohl das Restaurant fast leer war. Das Essen wurde dann aber schnell serviert. Mein Grill-Huhn-Teriyaki war sehr gut und eine große Portion, mit gutem Fleisch, frischem Salat und guten Geschmäckern, aber nichts Außergewöhnliches. Der Preis war mit EUR 13,90 normal. Kartenzahlung wird möglichst vermieden, keine Ahnung warum. Die Toiletten waren wohl mal sauber.

Qualität und Zubereitung hat nachgelassen. Gerichte teilweise nicht wie beschrieben und deutlich geschmackloser als früher.

Top Vietnamese! Sehr freundlich, sehr lecker, sehr bekömmlich. Das sage ich als sehr empfindlicher Magentyp, hier kann man getrost hingehen und genießen, es ist sehr bekömmlich! Alles ohne Glutamat und Zusatzstoffe. Die gebratene Ente war herrlich und super knusprig.

Bonjour Saigon, un restaurante vietnamita clásico en Colonia, empezó bien, pero actualmente los platos no tiene sabor, ni sal, ni picante, ni gracia, y ha perdido la esencia tradicional usando ingredientes más occidentales que orientales. Los platos están más adecuados a paladares poco exigentes, que no hayan probado comida asiática antes o no les guste un sabor intenso. Si es así, es tu sitio. No repetiría.

Der Papayasalat bestand zu 20% aus Papaya. Darunter befand sich nur Eisbergsalat. Die Dumplings waren gekauft und in altem Fett frittiert. Und der homemade „Zitronen-Limetten“ Eistee für 5.50€ schmeckte nach gekauftem Zitronen Eistee mit einem Stück Limette darin. Die Suppen schmeckten nach gar nichts. Alles in allem viel zu Teuer und mit vietnamesischer Küche hat das ganze leider überhaupt nichts zu tun.

In der Hühnersuppe fehlte jetzt zum wiederholten Male Koriander und es wurden fälschlicherweise geröstete Zwiebeln hinzugegeben, obwohl alles in der Menükarte genausten beschrieben ist.

Habe mir dort Essen bestellt. Der Fahrer hat mir eine zerrissene und verdreckt Tüte in die Hand gedrückt und ist abgehauen. Eines der Gerichte ist wohl beim Transport aufgegangen und war bei der Ankunft weg und hat alles andere eingesaut. Das Essen war zudem ziemlich kalt. Habe keinerlei Kulanz oder Freundlichkeit vom Restaurant bei Rückmeldung erhalten.

To be as fair as I can, the service was ok. You pay top price for the drinks, the Coca Cola had no life left, no fizz .. wasn’t refreshing like it should be.. I ordered the beef curry without mushrooms, it arrived cold and with mushrooms, barely any beef, just tiny pieces..no real taste or flavor, just watery.. not good. It was obvious the sauces aren’t freshly made.. this is an imbiss and you pay 18€ for a terrible non fresh curry. My girlfriend ordered the udon noodles with chicken, cheap ingredients, quick and cheap broth for the ramen.. again no real flavor.. you pay good money for low quality. In Köln there are so many good food places, really! we tried this one but for sure won’t be back again.

Ich hatte die Ramen mit Hühnchen. Es ist keine Klassische Ramen wie man sie vom Japaner kennt aber trotzdem sehr lecker. Die Motchis die wir hatten waren leider garnicht gut obwohl es sich offensichtlich um ein Fertigprodukt gehandelt hat. Der Service war ok. Insgesamt eine Empfehlung!

disappointed, overpriced average food. Teriyaki chicken was dry, instead of noodles - cheap tasteless vermicelli and crispy duck wasn’t crispy at all. But main point - “please, without mung bean sprouts” - means exactly what it means. sadly, our high expectations were not met.

Mochi Eis war kristallisiert und ungenießbar, Kellnerin darauf hingewiesen. Erst die freundliche Reaktion, dass es von der Rechnung genommen wird. Dann kam die Rechnung: Mochi Eis noch drauf. Daraufhin wurde versucht uns den Fehler in die Schuhe zu schieben "muss man abtauen lassen", "ist normal", "zuviel abgegessen"... wie soll man bitte von einer Miniatur einer Mochikugel nicht zuviel "abessen", die sind ja mit einem haps im Mund. Mit anderen Worten wurde uns unterstellt, wir wollen Essen unterschlagen. Krisenmanagment nicht vorhanden, hier hätte es viele Wege gegeben um zu einer Lösung zu kommen, aber der Wille war nicht da. Schade, war bisher gerne dort, Sayonara Saigon.

Der Reiscocktail Cochin ist absolut probierenswert!

Wir waren zu viert dort und bekamen einen Platz in der hintersten Ecke zugewiesen, was sich später insoweit als Manko herausstellte, dass man vom Kellner nicht beachtet wurde. Da es unser erster Besuch war. beschlossen wir drei Vorspeisen zu bestellen und diese zu teilen. Die Vorspeisen wurden auch schön in der Mitte drapiert, auf einen kleinen Teller um die geteilten Speise dort abzulegen, wartete man aber vergebens. Die Vorspeisen schmeckten sehr lecker und waren 5 * wert. Die Hauptspeisen, waren dann eher Miittelklasse, teilweise mit zuviel Stärke (?) eingedickt. Da gab es dann nur drei Punkte Nachtisch gab es dann anderswo, da wir nicht mehr bedient und anscheinend in der Ecke vergessen wurden.

Top vietnamesisches Restaurant belgischen Viertel. Ich war mehrfach hier und wurde noch nicht enttäuscht. Der vietnamesische Kaffee ist sehr zu empfehlen. Ohne Einschränkung zu empfehlen!

Nachdem meine Tochter hier schon öfter war. Musste ich es auch testen. Und das war gut so. Sehr höfliches Personal und das Essen war extrem geil. Geschmacklich voll abgestimmt. Ich kann dieses Restaurant zu 100 Prozent empfehlen.
