I ordered take-out, which is why I didn't rate service or atmosphere. The delivery was quick and the food arrived still hot. I ordered via Wolt. I had the "Sesame Chicken" and "Fresh Veggie Rolls" and it was absolutely delicious! I am very impressed with the quality, even though I order online regularly from various places. I will most certainly order again. The portion size is very generous for the prizes, I couldn't finish both articles in one sitting and kept the Veggie Rolls to reheat. The take-out packaging is also excellent. Nothing leaked and the container fit the portions exactly, no waste. I don't usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to leave one here because it was outstanding. Thank you! You definitely got a regular customer in me. Looking forward to trying out other meals.

Except for some delivery drivers who simply can't wait for their coffee, they're pissed off and write extremely inappropriate reviews that are completely unjustified and inappropriate, and do this fantastic restaurant no justice! I had the classic Pho soup earlier. It was a concert in my mouth! Aromatic, fresh, and filling. By far the best I've ever eaten! I had tears of joy in my eyes! And the staff were very friendly! I hope I'll have this soup again. Thank you so much.

I ordered through Liefando, but after over an hour, the order was simply canceled. At 10:00 PM on a weekday, it's almost impossible to get something to eat quickly—especially when you're waiting hungry, which is completely unacceptable. If the cancellation had been made earlier, I would at least have been able to understand it.

I lived with Vietnamese people for years. Not only does this restaurant come close to the cuisine, it just sells some seriously awesome Vietnamese food. The price is also great, despite the fantastic location. Overall, one of the best restaurants I've ever visited when you consider value for money.

Von mehreren Seiten wird das Lokal als einer der besten Vietnamesen in Köln beschrieben. Leider kann davon nicht die Rede sein. Das Ambiente ist dürftig, ein Blick in die Toilette bestätigt diesen Eindruck. Das Essen ist mittelmäßig und entspricht nicht im geringsten dem Niveau, das wir selbst in den einfachsten Restaurants in Vietnam genießen durften. Sollten Sie sich einen schönen Abend machen wollen, meiden Sie das Restaurant.

Discovered by chance because of the holiday, this was the only restaurant that was actually open according to Google search. Service was super fast and the portions were gigantic. The food was super tasty and relatively authentic (of course always with a bit of a European touch). Great value for money! 👍🏻

Die Lieferung hat leider viel länger gedauert, als angegeben wurde. Die Zeiten haben sich zwei mal verlängert um mehr als 10min. Wahrscheinlich, so dem Livetracking zuentnehmen, war der Fahrer noch vorher an einem anderen Lieferort. Das ist grundsätzlich ok, doch mein Essen war kalt!

For me it has little to do with Vietnamese cuisine. Photos of the dishes after my first (and last) visit are attached. Rice rolls should be with fish. But it tasted like crispy chicken. The sweet sauce was assured to me as Nức Mam. Only when I asked did I get the soy sauce that tasted more like it. Spring rolls very crispy. There was less of the chicken filling to be seen. 6.50 euros per dish is actually OK. But given the very manageable amount of material used, estimated at a maximum of 50 cents (2 leaves of iceberg lettuce 10 cents, a few rice noodles 10 cents, chicken 20 cents, rice paper 10 cents), this should enable a reasonable profit margin for the cost-intensive catering industry. Sorry, after already having an authentic knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine, this has little or nothing to do with it. Also interesting that there is not a word of Vietnamese food on the menu (maybe except Pho Bo). But there are English translations. And otherwise there is a lot on the menu that doesn't seem Vietnamese but rather cross-Asian. Given the long queues in front of the restaurant, especially at the weekend, I wanted to test it out. Staying true, finding the delicious yet simple Việt cuisine in Cologne is not easy....😔

Good tasty lunch specials. In terms of price it's mid-range, but the taste is very good. Often the first address in the district when it comes to Asian cuisine. I have also ordered via Uber several times and so far everything has worked fine.

I recently dined at this restaurant and was blown away by the flavors! The tofu, fried with turmeric, paired with curry and rice, was absolutely delicious. The seasoning was perfect, and the tofu had a wonderful texture. I also had the soup with dumplings, and it was incredibly flavorful. The dumplings themselves were a real treat – soft, well-cooked, and packed with filling. Everything was so well-balanced and full of flavor. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a tasty and satisfying meal!

- Aperitifs bestehen fast nur aus Prosecco - Sommerrollen sind zu 70% mit Reisnudeln bzw Reis gefüllt - Dumplings waren tot frittiert und hatten wenig einseitige Füllung und waren auf ein paar Salatfetzen angerichtet - Ente war ok, aber nichts besonderes und dafür zu teuer Personal ist aber sehr nett und das Hauptgericht war eine große Portion - immerhin.

Ich habe am Montag Abend Essen bei Bonjour Saigon bestellt, habe ich doch lange in der Nachbarschaft gelebt :) Es dauerte ca. eine halbe Stunde bis geliefert wurde. Es war köstlich, das Schwein war geschmort, der Salat super frisch. Toll wäre ein Dip zu den Wan Tan gewesen.

Delicious. Particularly noteworthy is the additive-free cuisine. The main course comes in sufficiently generous portions. The curries are particularly recommended. You can even see the drinks menu. Hot, cold, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from tart to sweet are available. Even cocktails for interested guests. Offering direct access to the street isn't great, but it gets quieter late at night. Opening times comfortable until 11:30 p.m. are a positive exception.

Can’t recommend never gonna come again!!

I ordered ramen soup and, to be on the safe side, mentioned my nut allergy when ordering. There are usually no nuts in this dish - but I like to point out my allergy just to be on the safe side. When I was presented with the bowl, there were pieces of ground peanuts at the top - some of which had already fallen into the soup alongside the other ingredients. My friend tried it and confirmed my suspicions. When I asked the waitresses about it and pointed out my nut allergy again, the waitresses initially denied that it was peanuts and when I held it under their noses, they admitted “maybe the chef had dropped something in the bowl”. That really doesn't work at all. A nut allergy is dangerous, it shouldn't happen.

Recommend this address 100% Food was super delicious. Service very friendly and very quick. The ambience is nice but a bit too loud due to the proximity to the street (I sat on the outside terrace). Card payment possible. Terrace seating is a bit cramped but there is more space inside. Nevertheless, I think you could also sit outside with a wheelchair. I'll definitely stop by again when I'm in the area. I found the prices very pleasant. You can also go here comfortably with the whole family or in large groups. The dishes are also suitable for sharing. I can't say anything about parking this time because I used public transport.

Bonjour Saigon in Cologne is a charming eatery that I recently visited. The atmosphere is simple but cozy. I chose the M1 dish from the lunch menu. The food was good overall, but the soy sauce was a bit too dominant for my taste. This somewhat overshadowed the taste of the dish. However, what I didn't like so much is that my clothes smelled strongly of food after visiting the restaurant. This was a bit unpleasant and I would have liked the place to be better ventilated to avoid this smell. All in all, my visit to Bonjour Saigon in Cologne was fine. The food was good, although a little over-spiced, and the ambience was simple but cozy. However, the smell that clung to my clothes was a bit disturbing after visiting the restaurant. I hope the eatery takes action to resolve this issue in the future.

While my experience at bonjour Saigon had its highlights, such as the delicious spring rolls and good curry with rice (the spicy/tangy garlic Sauce is excellent), I found some aspects to be lacking. The soup, unfortunately, lacked flavor, and the dessert portion sizes, particularly for the mochi and sweet potato cake, were quite small considering the price. However, the combination of flavors in the desserts was enjoyable, especially with the whipped cream. Overall, it was a mixed experience with both positives and areas for improvement.

In addition to the dumplings, the soup contained various vegetables and glass noodles. The doneness of the ingredients was very good and the broth was delicious. However, the dumplings would have tasted better unfried as a soup addition, as they were of course completely softened in the broth. The main course tasted good. Unfortunately the meat was a bit dry. When serving, it would make more sense to place the meat on the pasta and not on the salad. In general there was a lot of hectic activity on site. The service was constantly gesticulating and discussing a lot among themselves. The friendliness and commitment varied depending on the service person.

Just ordered veggie ramen - delivery within half an hour & the food was delivered very well packaged. Ramen / side dishes & broth each in plastic cups :) tasty and delicious, I haven't eaten such delicious ramen in a long time. The tofu just tasted a bit bland. Can't fault anything else.

Ich bin durch eine Empfehlung zum Bonjour Saigon gekommen. Die Begrüßung war nett und das Ambiente ist okay, aber nicht wirklich landestypisch. Aber mir ging es auch mehr um das Essen. Die Auswahl finde ich mehr als ausreichend, wenn man Fleisch isst. Für mich als Vegetarier hätte ich mir etwas mehr Auswahl gewünscht. Trotzdem habe ich etwas sehr leckeres gefunden. Die Portion des Hauptgerichts ist wirklich groß. Hier sollte jeder satt werden. Gefehlt hat mir etwas Würze/Schärfe, aber das kann man selber mit sambal oelek nachwürzen und somit die Schärfe selber bestimmen. Wirklich super finde ich, dass Tiger Beer angeboten wird.

Das essen ist fantastisch. Von der Suppe über die sommerrollen bis zum Curry kann man alles empfehlen. Frisch, mit nüsschen und grünzeug dekoriert... einfach köstlich. Da der Laden oft sehr voll ist, wartet man manchmal länger auf sein Essen. An anderen Tagen geht es wahnsinnig schnell.... eine Reservierung empfiehlt sich. Ich gehe immer wieder gerne ins bonjour Saigon.
