Bonbon - Ice Cream Bar in Nürnberg

Heute habe ich hier eine Kugel Eis für 2,60 € sowie eine Waffel für 1,50 € gekauft. Das Eis selbst war geschmacklich sehr gut. Leider befanden sich in der Waffel mehrere Silicagel-Kügelchen. Einen Teil davon habe ich bereits gegessen, bevor ich den Fremdkörper bemerkte. Ich konnte ca. 5 der Kügelchen ausspucken und dem Personal zeigen. Diese wurden von den Mitarbeitern unmittelbar als Silicagel identifiziert. Mir wurde erklärt, dass das Silicagel aus größeren Gebinden stammt und in kleinere Beutel umgefüllt wird. Nach meinem Eindruck scheint die verwendete Verpackung jedoch nicht ausreichend gegen das Austreten des Inhalts gesichert zu sein. Besonders kritisch fand ich den Umgang mit dem Vorfall. Ein Datenblatt oder eine genaue Produktinformation zu dem verwendeten Silicagel lag nicht vor. Stattdessen wurde mir lediglich ein Bild einer Amazon-Bestellung und das Gebinde gezeigt und anschließend im Internet recherchiert, dass Silicagel „nicht giftig sein sollte“. Bis heute weiß ich daher nicht, welche genaue Zusammensetzung das verschluckte Material hatte und ob möglicherweise Zusatzstoffe enthalten waren und in Verbindung mit Lebensmittel zugelassen sind. Die Mitarbeiter wirkten mit der Situation überfordert. Zudem war die im Impressum angegebene Telefonnummer dauerhaft besetzt, sodass ich auch nachträglich keine weiteren Informationen erhalten konnte. Noch enttäuschender fand ich, dass man weder von sich aus eine Erstattung der 4,10 € anbot noch anderweitig versuchte, den Vorfall kundenorientiert zu lösen.

War heute bis 12.30 Uhr vor verschlossener Türe gestanden….. habe extra einen Umweg gemacht und wollte mir ein Eis kaufen…..

Ich dachte eigentlich, ich hätte schon viele gute Eissorten probiert – hier wurde ich eines Besseren belehrt. Das Marzipan-Mohn-Kirsch-Eis war wirklich einzigartig. Eine ungewöhnliche Kombination, die perfekt harmoniert und geschmacklich lange in Erinnerung bleibt. Es gibt diese seltenen Momente, in denen ein Geschmack Erinnerungen an unbeschwerte Sommertage weckt. Genau das hat dieses Eis geschafft. Nicht überladen, sondern fein abgestimmt und mit viel Liebe gemacht. Für mich eines der besten Eise, die ich bisher gegessen habe. Gerne wieder.

Sehr leckeres Eis 🍨. Die selbstgemachten Waffeln schmecken auch sehr gut. Man muss sie aber sofort verzehren, weil sie sonst auseinander fallen. Die Tische könnten sauberer sein, bei den Preisen. Americano für meinen geschafft zu dünn, kein Wasser dazu... Ansonsten sehr niedliches kleines Café. Lage ist toll, gleich am Augustinerhof, am Hotel.

Nette Eisdiele mit schönem Ambiente und wirklich leckerem, hausgemachtem Eis. Hinter der Theke etwas unordentlich. Die Portionen sind jedoch etwa halb so groß wie in klassischen Eisdielen, während die Preise ca. 20–30% höher liegen.

Super leckeres Eis und top Service. An heißen Tagen muss man allerdings immer Schlange stehen - da schmeckt das Eis im Anschluss noch ein Ticken besser 😉

Das Gute zuerst: sehr leckeres Eis, stolzer Preis aber es lohnt sich, die Waffel ist selbstgemacht. Was nicht geht: Kaffeemaschine wird scheinbar bereits 2 Stunden vor Schluss gereinigt und daher gab es keinen Cappuccino mehr. Konsequenterweise dann aber bitte auch nicht mehr über NeoTaste anbieten in diesem Zeitfenster.

Sehr gute Eisdiele, kreatives Eis, gute Portionen, fairer Preis. Ich hatte das Orange-Basilikum Eis, man konnte wirklich alles rausschmecken. In der Vergangenheit auch schon kreative Eissorten probiert, und die Qualität sticht immer heraus! Vielen Dank!

Guter Kaffee und gutes Eis, wenn auch teuer.

Das Eis war leider nichts besonderes und dafür super teuer (1 vegane und 1 nicht vegane Kugel = 5€). Haben jeweils einen Becher genommen, denn 1,50€ für eine Waffel? Wow. Das vegane Orange-Zimt-Eis war vom Rezept her irgendwie nicht ganz rund. Zudem verstehe ich nicht, warum es in so einem Laden keine Tafel oder Schild gibt mit den Sorten...das ist irgendwie unsinnig erst wieder rausgehen zu müssen und das Schild (weggedreht vom Eingang) anschauen zu müssen. Denn steht man erst am Tresen, sieht man die Sorten eigentlich nicht. Was ist denn die Idee dahinter? (Und hey, versucht gar nicht erst wieder, meine Bewertung löschen zu lassen - ich kann nachweisen, dass ich da war!)

War heute am 4.3. um 14.45 Uhr in der ICE Cream Bar. Wurde von einer jungen kleineren Frau bedient. Während die Kundschaft vor mir von einer anderen Frau bedient wurde und eine ganze Eiskugel bekam, habe ich für 2,60 Eur eine HALBE Kugel bekommen. Absolute Frechheit. Nie wieder. Ich sehe ein für Qualität zu bezahlen, aber das ist einfach nur WUCHER.

Absolut lächerlich: 1,50€ Aufpreis, wenn man das Eis in einer Waffel möchte. Leute - eine Waffel sollte selbstverständlich sein (egal ob selber gebacken oder nicht), wenn ich schon 2,60€ (!) für eine Kugel Eis bezahle. Pluspunkte: Eis schmeckt gut, es gibt experimentelle Sorten & man kann mit Karte zahlen

Das Eis war der Hammer! Geschmack, Konsistenz und Cremigkeit waren einfach perfekt.

Mir gefällt, dass die Mitarbeiter im Eiscafé freundlich sind und die Eissorten erklären, sodass man sie vor der Bestellung probieren kann.

Sehr leckeres Eis. Vorallem das Franzbrötchen-Eis ist so Klasse! Sehr nette und ausführliche Beratung von der netten Angestelltin Hiba. Man fühlt sich direkt Willkommen mit so einem aufgeschlossenen Service. Aufjedenfall empfehlenswert und ein richtig schöner Ort, um nochmal ein leckeres Eis zu holen. Danke!

The Lotus Biscoff flavor was nicely creamy and rich and was what I was craving that day, with nice little cookie chunks. Scoop was 2.50€ but not small. Nice location near the river and cute interior design, pastel colored ice cream parlor style.

Today we ate two scoops of ice cream, and the experience wasn't the best. The ice cream is very spongy, lacks structure, and feels cold. Stracciatella is a milk and cream ice cream with dark chocolate, one of the most famous and popular ice cream flavors. Here, the stracciatella tastes of nothing; I miss the milk flavor, and you'd have to use binoculars to find the chocolate. Franzbrötchen is a cinnamon ice cream with a few pieces of pastry. I asked the salesperson where the pistachios came from, and she said, "I don't know." Then they looked at the packaging, and apparently, the origin of the pistachios isn't listed. The ice cream isn't worth the price. I wouldn't go back.

Wow, really delicious ice cream right next to the German Museum, and the homemade waffles are also amazing! It does come at a price, though (€12.40 for two two-scoop waffles). They also offer different flavors than you're used to (e.g., Franzbrötchen, banana-saffron).

Today I bought an ice cream here and unfortunately left several bills behind. Despite this, the employees were very honest and kept my money and returned it to me. I was really impressed! Not only was the ice cream delicious today, but the team was also incredibly honest and friendly. Thank you for the great service!

Very expensive, €2.50 for a scoop plus €1.70 for the cone. The lemon ice cream tasted like a lozenge. There are definitely better ice cream parlors. Too overhyped.

Very tasty, but quality also has its price

Super delicious ice cream. They have a small, fine selection of flavors, which I think is a good sign. The waffles are super delicious and crispy, something you won't get anywhere else. They also point out everywhere that they cost extra, so I don't understand the complaints in the other comments. I'd rather pay a little more for good quality than for cheaper, run-of-the-mill ice cream. The flavors are truly unique, and after two scoops, you're truly stuffed, as the portions are very generous. I'm always happy to come back. :)

Unfortunately, it's overrated! Okay, the ice cream was good—but nothing more. The price-performance ratio isn't right. The scoop is too expensive—the cone costs an extra 1.50, and even a broken cone costs extra. There are plenty of alternatives where you'll get friendlier service.

I think it's a real shame that last Saturday, at 28 degrees Celsius, they ran out of waffles at around 1:30 PM (1.5 hours after opening). The ice cream tastes very good, with few ice crystals (brown butter and strawberry cake aren't really my cup of tea, while the Franzbrötchen gets 7/10 and the pistachio gets 10/10). Two scoops of ice cream for €5 isn't cheap, and the service isn't friendly. The seating directly in front is incredibly uncomfortable.

Definitely worth a visit, and the ice cream is from another planet. Delicious, creamy, perfectly flavored, and not too sweet. At €2.20 to €2.50, a scoop is quite pricey, but the quality definitely makes up for it. Service was quick and extremely friendly.

There is a large and unusual selection of ice cream flavors and desserts. The prices for ice cream, €2.20 for sorbet and €2.50 for fruit ice cream, are common in Nuremberg. It's important that the portions are right - that's the case here. Delicious coffees are also offered. The staff is very nice and friendly. The price-performance ratio is okay. The ambience is simple, with self-service. A visit is definitely worth it for the homemade ice cream cones (cones), the variety of ice cream flavors and the delicious specialties.

Our absolute favorite ice cream parlor in Nuremberg – and has been since it opened! The ice cream is always delicious, but the real highlight are the homemade waffles - simply heavenly! You can tell that a lot of love goes into the work here. The team is friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, and it's always a pleasure to come here. A regular stop for us in the summer (and also in between)! Absolutely recommended!

But I'll admit: you know that in advance, so you can't really complain about it (which I won't do, well not really anyway). Whenever I'm in Nuremberg, I always try to stop there. Yes, the ice cream costs a bit more, but it tastes great, and you get large scoops. What I like: classic ice cream flavors meet modern ones. Super tasty ice cream there today, Lotus Biscoff, Earl Gray cherry and hazelnut were very tasty. The prices of €2.20 for a ball and €1.50 for a waffle are a lot but sometimes it works. The waffles are baked there in-house. You can sit outside and be right in the city.

Sweet little ice cream parlor. Normally you can also sit outside... but this time it wasn't possible. (You would probably have needed a boat.) The service person was very nice, ice cream was very tasty. :)

Solid ice cream but in my opinion way too expensive (6.50 for two scoops with a waffle and the waffle costs extra). The homemade waffles are good but significantly sweeter than the normal ones, but the slight hint of cinnamon is pleasant. The varieties are outside of the standards, which is really cool, but you can get them elsewhere at much more reasonable prices. Nougat Raspberry was well implemented but Cherry Vanilla had no vanilla note for me.

The fruit ice cream is of poor quality with little fruit content and little taste. Too expensive for that.

It's very pleasing that there is an ice cream parlor with high-quality ingredients, not the mass-produced product piled high with colorings/flavorings and stabilizers that you usually find. The waffle is good in itself, but a bit too cinnamon-heavy, it spoils the ice cream taste. Brown butter is very good, cherry is good, pleasantly sweetened, but the pistachio is - sorry - tasteless. Pistachio is always the supreme discipline and requires excellent and super-fresh raw materials to achieve a good aroma, and unfortunately you can't taste any of it here.

Cozy ice cream bar. You can grab an ice cream to go or just sit down and eat. They don’t have too many flavours but what they have is very delicious and authentic.

Location at the new technology museum. Were there during the bard meeting. You have to expect a snake. Balls are quite large, some varieties are a bit unusual. We paid just under €15 for a total of 6 balls and a homemade waffle.

Very nice staff, super tasty ice cream even if a little more expensive than usual. Everything is homemade, the waffles and also the ice cream macarons. You can taste the high-quality ingredients. My favorite is the pistachio ice cream, slightly sweet and full of pistachio flavor. There are more unusual and also vegan varieties. This ice cream parlor will definitely be visited again the next time you visit Nuremberg

This ice cream parlor actually makes its own ice cream. No powder or anything else. High-quality ingredients are also used here. The glass door to the kitchen shows that there is nothing to hide there either. The selection of varieties is limited to approx. 15 pieces. There is also special other ice cream. The waffles cost extra, which may seem very strange to some people at first. However, these are made locally and taste really delicious and special. I can only recommend that everyone try the ice cream for themselves. In terms of taste, this is far removed from many other ice cream parlors and is extremely tasty. My personal favorite: pistachio

I've been enjoying going to this ice cream parlor since last year. Unfortunately, the prices of 2.20 / 2.50 per ball are now common, but I'm happy to pay them here too! The ice cream is very tasty, the selection is very good, there are really exciting varieties and in my opinion you can taste the high-quality ingredients. The chocolate ice cream, for example, really tastes like good chocolate etc. There are also more unusual varieties, ice cream lollies and ice cream macarons (my absolute favorite, they are delicious ❤️) the decor is also really nice and colorful!

Admittedly - at first we were skeptical as to whether this fancy ice cream parlor in the chic Augustinerhof would deliver what it promised and whether the prices (which have just risen disproportionately everywhere) were justified. And YES - I'm happy to spend €2.20-€2.50 per scoop if the ice cream tastes as sensational as in the Bonbon Ice Cream Bar. You can taste the natural and fresh ingredients, no flavor or too much sugar. It was the best ice cream in a long time and a little tip: treat yourself to the handmade waffle for €1.50. We only had a free fragment, but next time we wouldn't want to miss out on the croissant. I've never eaten anything so delicious. Mega crunch, light cinnamon note - simply heavenly. And not to forget the incredibly good and charming service. You feel warmly welcome, we received great advice and the lady's smile was genuine and contagious. From now on, our new regular ice cream parlor in Nuremberg.

Delicious homemade ice cream. I found the ball size to be average. The price is no longer much more expensive than other high-quality ice cream parlors. There were very unusual varieties, but also classics. The waffle was incredibly good, especially compared to the "standard" waffles, which really taste like nothing. In my opinion, absolutely worth the €1.5. And otherwise you can also take the cup.

The spaghetti ice cream was very disappointing, the price for the homemade ice cream cone is not justified. In my opinion there are better alternatives in the immediate area.

3 stars for the excellent ice cream. 3 deduction not even for the price of the ice cream, but for €1.50 for the waffle. In addition to the already quite high prices! That's too much of a good thing in my opinion. A perfectly normal waffle, nothing special, even if it was homemade. Still 1.50???? If I remember correctly, the waffle didn't cost extra in summer 2023.

I think the price of 2.20/2.50 for a ball is absolutely overpriced, especially because the balls are very small. If you take into account that you have to pay an extra charge of 1.50 for a waffle, in the worst case scenario you would be paying 4 euros for a small scoop of ice cream in the waffle. For that price, with a bit of luck you can get 2, if not 3 larger scoops at other ice cream parlors. I found the waiting time at the ice cream parlor to be rather long. Personally, I wouldn't recommend the ice cream parlor because the ice cream flavors are nothing special, the scoops are far too small for the price and the extra charge for a waffle is nothing more than a bad joke.

A dream! The ice cream flavors were really creative, but above all DELICIOUS! There were still soft pieces of dough in the tiramisu, the blueberry violet had a floral scent, the Amalfi lemon had nice sour zest, ... But they also have "normal" ice cream without chichi :-D e.g. the raspberry ice cream was completely "normal" ( also very tasty, but possibly more child-friendly ;-)). Definitely take a waffle (costs €1.50 extra), it was also really tasty. The service was top - we couldn't decide and were allowed to taste. And the owner is super nice. The only downside: it's too far away for us Berliners to stop by regularly :D But maybe that's better that way ;-). We were made aware of this through our hotel (Karl August vs.) - thanks to the nice ladies at reception for the tip!
