Bollywood Bringdienst in Hannover

Very simple restaurant, but the food and service were really good!

It was actually a traumatic experience. Unfortunately we had already ordered before we got to the toilet. We lost so much appetite there and I honestly wonder how the store will survive a health department inspection: The women's toilet was broken, the men's toilet was a disaster. You could see that it had probably been wiped with a mop, but in such a way that all the pubic hair was spread across the floor. The entire toilet bowl was dirty in every way imaginable. There was just a small piece of curd soap lying around. Then our food came. The waiter/cook was very nice, but he was dressed very unhygienically (his clothes had a lot of stains and he had a lot of jewelry on his hands). One of our dishes was actually somewhat edible, although there were hardly any vegetables, but what was in it was barely cut. The vegetarian mango dish tasted like vomit in places. To top it all off, the waiter charged us a few euros more than what was on the menu and I was so stupid and gave him €2 as a tip on top. Even behind the counter it looked very messy and I really don't want to know what the kitchen looks like. I don't mean anyone any harm with this review, but unfortunately it's our experience.

We got our food an hour ago. I was totally surprised how the food was extremely hot and tasted great for the price! Naan bread, of course, fresh and still hot I can only recommend 😊

No contact options - a computer voice comes when we call, the email comes back as the wrong address - we didn't receive enough food and can't complain about it and therefore can't get a replacement.

Ambience is much better after the renovation. Prices are normal. The taste can definitely still be improved. It was very bland for Indian cuisine

Ordered: 7:25 p.m., there was a note over the phone that it might take 1 hour. Called after about 1.5 hours. I was told that it was busy but the driver was on the way. After another 20 minutes the food came. The driver who greeted me with the words “17.90” and left meaninglessly after paying didn’t exactly shine with friendliness either. A “good evening” or “please excuse the long wait” would actually have been appropriate. The food was (unfortunately) boring and wouldn't be recognizable as Indian in a blind tasting... It's a shame, because the delivery service was very good. Since the delivery time is probably not always that long and the food was edible, 2 stars. But it was definitely nothing more.
