Best steak, have been going to the Block House in Munich for 35 years...here in Stuttgart it's just as good.. RipEye Herford...medium. ... Top..👍

The food was ok, but unfortunately the meat was a bit too cooked. Unfortunately I was rather disappointed with the service. Some of the waiters were rather busy with other things (talking about the pretty girls on the terrace...), so we had to wait a relatively long time until we could order or pay, for example. We weren't even said goodbye, even though we were specifically called into the group again and were definitely seen. When someone took the time, they were friendly. There's more going on and it hasn't happened to us in other block houses yet! Ambience is nice, toilets are clean!

The burgers aren't really served as burgers, although quite delicious , but the patty is served with a piece of yummy garlic bread. With a side of your choice, loved the baked potato with sour cream. A little too pricey though.

Very courteous waiters and waitresses. The food was of a high standard and very tasty, especially the steaks were cooked to perfection. Although there were only two of us there on our last visit, we were left sitting after almost an hour beyond the regular opening time and didn't pressure us to pay the bill.

I was at the restaurant for lunch. Service was good and quick too. But I can't recommend the food. My drink wasn't chilled and it was +30° outside. Fish was very crispy but unfortunately fried to death. In my opinion, the “fried” potatoes weren’t even in the pan. They were very light and lukewarm. Very unfortunate.

Despite the kitchen closing time, the staff was nice and the food was delicious. It would be nice if more restaurants were like this. Gladly again

Excellent food! We had the avocado tartare and the filet mignon. The service is very friendly and accommodating.

A typical Block House branch. Easy access (outside the Hauptbahnhof metro station). As always with Block House and most other steak houses in Germany, the grilling is always a bit on the heavy side (the medium rare T-bone I ordered was once more a clear medium). The meats used are mainstream fare (nothing exquisite), so the prices are also kept at reasonable levels. Several good wine options by the glass. Decent option for a meat crave, but not more.

Since I can see what the dishes look like every day, that was really a joke. Handful of fries, two medallions that looked like leftover pieces of steak and a salad. It was really very good. I was happy and could finally afford that and then that. But I stand there every day, maybe I shouldn't do that.

The restaurant is beautiful and the food is wonderful. The waiter’s service was wonderful and very friendly. Her name is Nina.

There is always such beautiful singing here in the evenings. Jaques with his organ grinder and the little monkey also comes by again (there was probably an argument about the tip). Every now and then there are theme evenings. World War I, Star Trek, 70s disco… all guests and staff are always in costume. On Maria's fortieth birthday, Mike Krüger was even there and sang a few songs with the acoustic guitar. It was a very nice evening. Greetings to Marko and Sascha!

Pretty average steakhouse, you can't go wrong

Good meat well done. Daily menu with a sirloin and 23 euros is very good. Shame about the terrace service. We had to wait a long time to be served and they forgot what we asked for.

Perfect restaurant with a great menu. The number 1 address in Stuttgart. Whether outside or inside, you can enjoy it here. The service staff is attentive, the food is top notch every time! I always like to come back!

Food very good but a little more expensive.

I came here for a quick and easy bite, had the steak special offer. The steak was just right with a portion of fries, coleslaw and bread. Good size, nice service. Good location for the shopping district.

EM Soccer Games - Stuttgart was crowded to a pin! We and our lg dog, a Podenca, under every table, there was another pedigree dog yapping ... Block House next to 5-star hotels always worth a visit. The steak was med rare as ordered, potato hot and steaming, great sour cream with fresh chives on top .... cheese running w bacon bits, a delight as actually Block House always is. For the dog, the accommodating waitress wrapped a t-bone in a bag - my dog was busy with that in the hotel for the next 2 hrs while we enjoyed the football game large screen in the lobby.

Unfortunately, I was charged for the significantly more expensive meal even though the meal was on the lunch menu with a different side dish. When I asked, the waiter said that I should have known that. Additionally, the meat was rare instead of medium rare. So quite disappointing for the price!

Eating was satisfying, meat was best but no fireworks of emotions while eating. It's ok

Went twice during the week away, had steak one evening and fish the other and both were great.

Very much enjoyed our dinner at this German chain steakhouse. Not many steak choices or meat varieties but what was offered was good quality meat cooked to perfection. Service was amazing, our waitress made sure that our children ate well and kept busy throughout our meal.

Worst dining experience in Stuttgart!!! The worst shop I could go to, very dirty toilets and very expensive prices, small portions of food, when we sat down to eat we were invaded by flies!!! Not allowed for a store in 2024!!!

Don't be serious about portion sizes!!! I got a half-full teacup of soup for €6.90. Absolute rip off.

One of the worst places where I have ever been. Renata is very rude and impolite waitress. The food was not tasty at all. In short, I definitely do not recommend this restaurant.

Terrible place, waiters are rude to customers, food does not match the prices. In our company, a situation happened that one of the customers was brought a salad in which a live slug was crawling and the waitress Renata said that it was normal and called the police because we were talking loudly with her

Renata is kind of stupid, they found a snail in the salad, and told the waiters, and they called the police on us!!!

Yes, they're probably right with claiming they're the best steakhouse in Stuttgart. I went for a quick bite, and although it is not cheap, it was money well spent. Amazing steak (fillet mignon), nice salad, good service. Can definitely recommend the place!

The waitresses were kind and advised me a good meal option. I especially liked their Italian salad.

Honestly, you really can't go wrong with the Block House. The steaks are delicious, the crispy garlic bread feels like it was invented here and the baked potato with sour cream is also an absolute classic! You can sit at the counter or in comfortable seating groupings. If you don't like meat, you can always have fish or vegetarian options on the menu. By the way, there is also lunch. Overall, a good, solid and well-rounded offer!

When I entered the store I was immediately pleased to be able to enjoy a rural atmosphere. I ordered the so-called cheeseburger with my colleagues. But when it came, I was in for a shock. Not only was there no salad on the “burger” but there was even a half of bread missing. After closer inspection, I realized it was a meatball with a slice of cheese on toasted bread. Despite the disappointing sight, I indulgently hoped it would taste good. However, when this didn't happen at all, I was very disappointed and decided not to visit this store anymore. A pity!

There are always drunk people around

We agreed to have dinner there and the 4 of us enjoyed it very much. Service was also very attentive.

With an open kitchen, you can see the chefs prepare your meal. The food is fresh and delicious. Near to the main Stuttgart station, it is easily accessible. Friendly staff, and with English menus available.

This is the right selection for the meat lover. Good steak, good carpaccio, good burger. Along with beer. In short, everything we tried did not disappoint. They don't exaggerate the prices either.

Grass-fed lamb: soft juicy meat masterfully grilled. Best choice of sides: potatoes gratin and creamed chards. First class dish very worth the small price.

Service is good. Food expensive and small portion. And please take the sirloin steak off the menu if you can't get it tender. It was medium really nightmare. For 21.50 outrageous. It's okay that the prices in the Blockhouse are high. But the meat I had on my plate was really not recommended

Extremely disappointed!! Been there again for a long time, no comparison to before... extremely expensive, meat was tough and really not easy to swallow, despite extreme chewing performance (cutting capacity of the steak knives, poor) the "burger" we ordered only consisted of a meat patty ( I have no idea whether the term burger is protected, but usually everyone understands it to mean the same thing, namely a meat patty in a bun with various frills)... two juice spritzers to mix yourself for €11.60... all in all underground.. .like this entire city... Stuttgart is "21" (at some point maybe Stuttgart 3000, if it comes true again)...what do you expect, until then the Stuttgart city center around the main station area is one overpriced impertinence, just like our restaurant visit yesterday... an absolute loss of a SWABISH!!! Capital and a former “favorite restaurant”.…. That's really a pity

As a restaurateur and someone who knows that Eugen Block gives everything for his brand, you can't go wrong with Steak's. Fresh salad, baked potato as expected, the best bread ever and a steak that was tender and fried as requested. The waitress felt sorry for me because there was a guest sitting next to me who had probably complained and was sitting alone at a table for four. He probably expects to get every seat he wants. But his behavior afterwards showed that he doesn't understand anything and doesn't have enough of his life. :-). Some people may think that by joining you will get everything they want. Dear Block House team, don't worry about it. Unfortunately, we meet such guests from time to time. Thank you for everything and continued success

Good food, nice staff, a little longer waiting time but it's worth it.

We tried the sirloin platter - steak, french fries and coleslaw sauce; the Mrs Rumpsteak - steak, boiled potato and garden salad and the green potato - grilled vegetables, boiled potato, sour cream. The vegetables were fresh and seasoned well. We had asked for the meat to be well done but it had a bitter aftertaste. Service is good, the place was quite full on a Sunday late afternoon. The pricing is a bit on the higher side.

Everything was great, always friendly and the quality was right! Are there very often. I can only recommend that to you.

Nice restaurant in a convenient location across the street from the Hbf. I ordered the Filet Mignon medium and it came out almost rare, so I sent it back. Instead of cooking it longer (which usually results in a tough steak) they brought out a new one that was perfectly cooked. 👍 Service was very good. Ice cream scoops for dessert were excellent and very well priced. Also ordered an apple strudel to go, which was underwhelming. I'd suggest having it there or skipping it. I didn't see an English menu in the pics, so I'm posting one.

Unfortunately, the meat wasn't good for a steakhouse and it wasn't really appropriate in terms of price/performance ratio. In particular, the herb that came with it was an extremely small portion, which was of course a shame.

As soon as we landed at Stuttgart central train station, we crossed the street and entered Block House. We also came across it in Munich. They serve meat dishes at affordable prices. The interior of the place is stylish, with dim lighting, and the service materials and seats are of high quality. Red and white serving linens are stylish. We bought New York cheeseburger and sirloin steak. Don't pay attention to what it says burger; The burger comes without a top bun, but the patty is juicy, well cooked, and the bread is nice. The potatoes are not crispy, but they are fresh, thin and delicious. Tomato sauce is successful. Steak was cooked well, with all its juices remaining. It is quite satisfactory for its price. We paid 48€ with one beer each.

Located directly opposite the main train station. Subway in the immediate vicinity. Very tasty steaks and salads. Everything fresh. Ice cream dessert is also very tasty. Big balls. Service is impeccable, fast and super friendly. We'd love to come back!

Good service, good food, central location

The steak was great, the carpaccio is no longer what it used to be, we wanted balsamic vinegar with it and they said it wasn't available anymore and for me personally there should be ruccula on it and not radishes... Well, all in one it was delicious, but the conditions were delicious very friendly and for me personally it was too dark in the far corner, I wanted to sit by the window but we were perhaps too young a couple...

We ate here with our baby a few days ago. A space suitable for strollers was specially reserved for us. The food was, as you know it, worth every cent and the staff (especially our wonderful waitress Elena) were all very friendly! We will be back! :)

Restaurant is a bit dated in terms of decor and style. But the food is good! Walked there from Stuttgart Hbf station and it was easy to do, about 5 minutes. Good steak and a lot of choice in types of steaks. Large, solid and especially fresh salad as before. Service fine, but a bit hesitant, probably because most of us spoke English. We were able to continue to our hotel with a well-filled belly.

I recommend it to everyone!!! Nice service in various languages, greetings to the lady who speaks Polish 😘, everything was served quickly and very delicious!!! THE BEST RESTAURANT IN STUTTGART

What you get in the restaurant borders on rip-off. I ordered a medium fried rump steak with a fatty crust and fries. I got: a pretty tough piece of meat, which was honestly perfectly medium rare, but tasted partly like charcoal and the edge of fat was more of a gristle edge. And there were also the fries, which I would rather compare to McDonald’s fries. They were flimsy and damn thin. The only thing that tasted good was the salad and the mayo. All in all I left 44 euros and therefore I do not recommend this restaurant without exception.

Best service experience with staff not knowing English and unable to explain how much a ribeye steak is. When we went to pay the staff were rude and didn't know maths making it very difficult to pay individually

A restaurant for family and friends. For beautiful moments. And for bad days that need a special shine. The juicy steak is already making my mouth water, and I'm already looking forward to my next meeting with the particularly friendly service. I can only recommend everything else was a lie.

I imagined a burger differently. Meat 🥩 and service were good. We give the rest to each other.
