Unfortunately completely disappointed. The salmon was too dry and the risotto was completely bland. In addition, the chef was “yelling” in the restaurant late at night and was very drunk. All of the clothes smelled strongly of food, old frying fat! That was my first and last visit to the log cabin

We celebrated grandma's birthday here and were all impressed by the extremely friendly staff and the good food in the log cabin. We were warmly welcomed, especially all of our small and older children were so lovingly integrated and pampered. Thank you for this great evening. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💖

Unfortunately my food was very bad... I had a duck leg that was inedible, hard as a rock, I couldn't move anything with either the fork or my teeth. The waiter's reaction was: "I'll pass it on"... that was the end of the matter for him... no apology... no accommodation. I definitely won't go there again.

This log house, furnished with attention to detail, is beautifully located directly on the lake. In summer you can definitely sit outside here. The food was good, but for the price it could have been better. The starter bruschetta tasted great, the meat and fish were very well grilled or fried. Unfortunately the parsley potatoes were still a bit hard. And the sauce for the chanterelles also deserved a little more flavor. Here we helped a lot with salt and pepper. My husband ordered an appetizer, which unfortunately was forgotten.

Nice place, good food, but I didn't like one waitress. I've been there twice, once everything went well, but after that, bad service. Definitely, recommended.

Very tasty food. The service could be a little more attentive. And about the ambience, there are still Christmas decorations to be found in summer. In the entrance area it looks as if the office is there. There is company mail there. If it's in the guest room then perhaps in a back corner where no guest walks past it.

We've now spontaneously been here twice for lunch. Both times impressed by the friendly staff and the delicious food. It is advisable to make a reservation on weekends.

The food was very good, but unfortunately it took a long time. If it's really full, you should plan on about 2 hours.

Service staff very friendly and quick, food delicious. BUT The loud, moody treatment of the friendly staff by the restaurant owner is inhumane. Therefore we cannot recommend this restaurant. Too bad!

Are very disappointed with the treatment of the staff, you didn't feel comfortable. Staff were shouted at and treated like serfs. Nobody wants a boss like that. We really felt sorry for the waiter, he did his job really well. The food was very tasty, but unfortunately it didn't make up for it. We probably won't go there again.

Four of us with children were there on Sunday and it was simply wonderful. The service was top, the food was incredibly tasty and the area by the lake is just beautiful. Right next to the restaurant there is a playground and a large lawn. We will be back!

Idyllically located on Lake Wolzensee, with attention to detail. Here you can sit outside to eat and enjoy the wonderful nature. The only thing that marred our last visit was the noise from the kitchen, where someone was shouting loudly at an employee who had probably made a mistake. The lamb shank was nice and tender, but very bland and the red wine sauce with it didn't taste good at all. The Big Giant Burger was considered good and the baked potato with salmon was very tasty. The waiting time was very long at times. The drinks had long since been empty when the food finally arrived and we had already ordered drinks, but they didn't come. We'd love to come back 🤗

Appearances are deceiving! The operators know how to take advantage of the exclusive location and the actually beautiful ambience by almost foregoing guest service and friendliness. The boss in particular is anything but friendly, rather cheeky and demanding! Please note the answers under some critical reviews here! Extra requests are consistently ignored. The food is higher priced but tends to be average. Fries were good. The location outside is nice, inside you have the feeling of being in a private office. Absolutely difficult toilet situation: you share this with bathers next door: one per gender: you have to insert 20 cent coins to go to the toilet or wash your hands, and if it's occupied, you can wait a long time because bathers and restaurant visitors are each other Have to share 1 toilet. All in all, the operators seem to be overwhelmed (two of them!) and let this be felt in their customer service. It's a shame, but we won't be coming back!

When the weather was great, we were able to enjoy our meal outside by the lake. It was very tasty, plentiful and delivered quickly (whether drinks or food).

Went to the log cabin at lunchtime today. When we arrived we were the only guests, when we left there were 8 more people. The service was there regularly, asking if everything was okay but never intrusive, perfect all around. The food...especially bruschetta, which there was nothing wrong with. For the main course, my colleague had a cheeseburger XXL, on request without tomato and double bacon, which was also taken into account and the taste was probably very good. My Wiener Schnitzel in mushroom cream, short and sweet, perfect 👌 I think the location is great and the only criticism or improvement, maybe I overlooked it. Any refreshing drink for summer, as an option with alcohol that is served nice and cold would be the i point. And if you come with children, not in sight but within earshot, a playground for impatient kids.

Very nicely located on the lake, there is also a swimming area next door... And the concerts that take place there are amazing, right in front of the lake. I always enjoy coming there.

Our youth consecration dinner took place here and everyone was thrilled! Even my brother-in-law, who is always very critical, thought it was really good. The service was quick, courteous and very friendly. All of our food was delicious and we always enjoy coming back.

Great food, great service and great ambience. Absolutely recommended. 5 different dishes, 2x dessert and everything was great. There is also a great playground next door and the restaurant has a lake view both outside and partly inside. We were there in May and it was very quiet and idyllic.

We waited 1.5 hours for a burger and a salad. But now canceled. The concept here is wrong. The waiters don't have assigned areas and don't know whose turn it is. Since we were here with the motorhome, we tried it again in the evening. This time everything was ok. The food was ok, the food was quick and nice and to make up for it the dessert was included for free. So thank you very much for the nice evening.

We were traveling with the camper and found this restaurant by chance. The menu is very diverse. The prices are real. I was impressed with the preparation of the food. Everything freshly prepared and well seasoned. I've been to all of Hamburg's star restaurants and would like to compare this restaurant with them, except for the Heck Meck in the star restaurants.

Today we hiked around the Wolzensee and then fortified ourselves in the log cabin. I had the fried salmon with spinach leaves and turmeric risotto and lemon sauce. It was a poem. We will be back.

The view outside is very nice and the interior is also comfortably furnished. So for the prices quoted, you would expect a little more on your plate.

We went for Sunday brunch today. Everything was delicious and nicely prepared. The entire staff, without exception, was very, very nice and attentive. The contact with us as guests was so nice, as if we were part of the family and we all really enjoyed that (there were 7 of us). We'll definitely be back! 🤗

Unfortunately the tuna I had was cold and not medium as ordered (raw). Complained and dealt with immediately, but tasted very fishy. Condition and ambience great.

We arrived with 5 adults, 3 children and a dog. We were immediately looked at from above and annoyed. The service was the only one that was very friendly. Neither the roast beef nor the dry aged steak could be chewed or eaten. There was a couple sitting at the back table who had also spoken to us about the meat outside and were disappointed with it. Our complaint was not taken well, there was a loud discussion with us and the reaction was annoying. When the couple at the back table had left, the boss called them idiots from table 9. This can also scare away customers.

Ich weiß nicht Wie Man es beschreiben soll das Essen war wie Hundefutter und so hat der Chef uns auch behandelt die Bedienung versuchte freundlich zu bleiben da sonst der Chef sie auch rausbefördert hätte so etwas unseriöse und freches habe ich noch nie erlebt.

Preis, Leistung und Bedienung super.

Wir waren zum Weihnachtsessen da und natürlich muss man da etwas warten war aber nicht schlimm aber das Essen war hervorragend 😀

Für jemanden der selten außerhalb Essen geht, bestimmt eine gute Abwechslung. Aber wer sich etwas mit gutem Essen auskennt, der ist hier falsch. Essen schmeckt nicht wie frisch zubereitet. Wenn man in die Küche schaut, steht Dosenweise Fertigsoße von Knorr vom Großmarkt und dies schmeckt man auch. Auch bei unserem 2. und auch leider letzten Besuch hat die Chefin einfach kein Lachen auf den Lippen. Vll ist es auch ihre Art aber einladend und gastfreundlich wirkt es leider nicht! Was noch dazu kommt, dass die Preise für so viel Fertigprodukte einfach nicht gerechtfertigt ist.

Danke für die schöne Zeit...macht weiter so...bei der nächsten Durchfahrt sind wir wieder zu Gast ...also... einfach Ausprobieren,es lohnt sich...

Spontan spät abends angehalten. Wir wurden sehr herzlich bedient, Essen kam schnell, war ausreichend und lecker! Das Tiramisu ist zu empfehlen, weiter so!

Heute an meinem Geburtstag im Blockhaus gewesen, 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder. 2 mal kam das falsche Essen. Statt Einsicht, wurde uns unterstellt, wir hätten falsch bestellt. Man könnte uns den Zettel als Beweis zeigen. Wenn der Service falsch notiert, wie soll man es dann beweisen? Man hat das falsche Essen dann so hingenommen, danach kam niemand mehr vom Personal an unseren Tisch. Erst als man um die Rechnung bat. Traurig, wir waren sonst immer gern dort, aber das war das letzte Mal.

nicht nur die großartige Lage mit Blick auf den See machen Appetit, sondern auch die sehr sympathische Art und Gastfreundlichkeit des Wirtes vom Blockhaus! das Essen war in unglaublich kürzester Zeit (so was ist man gar nicht mehr gewohnt...) zubereitet, frisch und heiß auf den Tisch! uriges Ambiente, reichhaltige Auswahl (beinahe schon zu viel), und ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! unbedingt zu empfehlen!!!

Very average food for slightly higher than average price. Burger looks like purchased in the shop. Paid toilets of questionable standard.

Fantastic view of the nearby lake, forest and Swans. Food is superb. Great choices and great quality. Seating is comfortable with indoor and outdoor options.

Leckeres Essen, große Portionen ( also guten Hunger mitbringen ) , Personal echt freundlich mit Witz auf der Zunge . Toller Ausblick auf den See. Wir sind mit dem Rad durch den Wald gefahren und dort fehlten Hinweisschilder. Man kann dort auch Stand up paddle ausleihen und es gibt auch einen Spielplatz.

Einfach zu Tierleidlastig. " Lamm" bedeutet Babytier. Die Speisekarte ist dringend zu überarbeiten. Das Gemüse kommt teilweise aus dem TK. Bei diesem Ambiente braucht es mehr Anspruch ans Essen. Wir kommen aus Sachsen-Anhalt und haben vorher nie etwas über diese schöne Blockhütte als Gastronomie gehört. Ich denke Geld verdienen geht besser.

Berliner Preise, Bedienung ist unfreundlich. Hier merkt man deutlich, wie die schöne Umgebung für Geldmache ausgenutzt wird bei mittelmäßigem Essen.

Zwar etwas abgelegen aber dafür in ruhiger Lage und direkt am Wolzensee. Das Essen war auch lecker die Bedienung war freundlich, da gibt es nichts zu meckern 😀😍

Die Lage ist sehr schön. Das Ambiente ist wie zu erwarten rustikal. Der Burger schmeckte gut, leider mit den Grobschnitt Pommes. Die Grillhaxe wurde mit Sauce, Sauerkraut und Kartoffeln serviert. Leider schmeckte die Sauce bitter. Wurde mit Köstritzer Bier zubereitet. Vielleicht zu stark reduziert? Im Sauerkraut war zuviel Kümmel.

Wir haben den 70. Geburtstag von unserer Oma im Blockhaus gefeiert und waren total begeistert. Super leckeres Essen, toller Service und ein wunderschönes Ambiente. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Hirsch-Steak in Knobi-Soße ! Kann ich empfehlen :-)

Sehr freundliches Personal, famiiengeführt, gut organisiert. Die Vorspeise genial. Vitello Tonnato und das Kalbfleisch war zart rosa gebraten und auf den Punkt gegart. Frisch zubereitet mit einer sehr tollen Thunfischsauce. In vielen Restaurants wird diese Qualität nicht erreicht. Als Hauptgang Bandnudeln in einer Weißwein Sauce mit Gambas. Ebenfalls auf den Punkt gegart und die Gambas, nicht zu lange gebraten, waren saftig und sehr gut gewürzt. Die Dauce war leicht und hat alles hervorragend abgerundet, ohne geschmacklich zu dominieren. Einfach perfekt!! 👍👍 Sehr freundlicher Service, aufmerksam und sehr höflich. Und all das zu sehr zivilen Preisen. Hier kann auch eine Familie mit Kindern beruhigt Essen gehen, ohne sich zu verausgaben. Wir waren das erste mal da, aber ganz sicher nicht das letzte mal.

Wir hatten reserviert, weil wir einen Gutschein hatten. Empfangen wurden wir sehr unfreundlich. Der Gutschein war angeblich nur 1 Jahr gültig. Auf unsere Montierung, dass alle Gutscheine 3 Jahre gültig sind, wurde uns erzählt, dass man ein neues Kassensystem installieren ließ und vom Steuerberater die Anweisung kam, dass keine Gutscheine über 1 Jahr Gültigkeit eingelöst werden dürfen. Auf unser Verlangen wurde der Chef geholt und der Steuerberater benannt. Es hieß, für Restaurants gelte die Gültigkeit von 1 Jahr nicht😂. Zu guter letzt wurde der Gutschein dann doch verrechnet dank unserer Hartnäckigkeit. Aber ich muss unabhängig von dieser Erfahrung sagen, dass das Essen überhaupt nicht geschmeckt hat. Die Soße war 08/15,als wenn es sich um eine Fertigsosse gehandelt hat und für diese gepfefferten Preise von ca. 30 Euro pro Essen n kann man etwas anderes erwarten. Es ist mir ein Rätsel, womit man die hohen Preise rechtfertigt. Weder Qualität noch Umgebung, Ambiente oder Freundlichkeit rechtfertigen diese. Wir gehen regelmäßig an verschiedenen Orten essen - so etwas haben wir noch nicht erlebt. Unser Fazit:NIE WIEDER!

Sehr schöne Lage, super leckeres Essen. Für mich gab es nichts zu meckern. Das Essen war nicht nur lecker sonder wurde auch ansprechend und für alle zeitnah heiss serviert - 8 Personen

Die Karte ist viel zu umfangreich und überall (draußen und drinnen) stehen Kartons und Putzsachen in den Ecken. Eine vorgenommene Reservierung wurde einfach vergessen bzw. nicht berücksichtigt. Nach etwa einer Stunde kamen die Hauptgerichte und alle schön einzeln. Die Kartoffeln waren kalt und die Rinderfiletstreifen zu durch und damit zäh. Eine Anmerkung zum Personal gab es ein bloßes Schulterzucken. Und das allerschlimmste ist, wenn man auf die Toilette muss (die übrigens draußen sind) muss man 0,20 € bezahlen. So etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt.

Wir haben zu 6. als Familie im Vorfeld reserviert. Als wir ankamen, wusste man nichts davon. Der Tisch war neben dem Putzeimer. Wir haben etwa 180 Eur bezahlt. Kartoffeln kalt, Durst durfte man nicht haben. Am meisten irritierte mich, dass wir vor der Platzierung noch einmal die Corona Regeln bekamen, aber das Personal keine Masken trug. Für ein quergeschnittenes Rumpsteak mit etwa 300 g 28 Eur zu verlangen - nicht schlecht. Die Preise passen nicht zur Umgebung! Änderungen kann man nur gegen Aufpreis bekommen. Ok kein Problem, dann zahle ich. Aussage des Personals: heute ist so viellll los und sie haben eine Gruppe von 50 Personen außer Haus zu beliefern. Daher: ich hatte ich Glück mit Fettuchini mit Pesto, leider ging es nicht allen am Tisch so. Wir kommen nicht wieder! Schade!

Die Lage ist perfekt mit Blick auf den See. In einem großen Zelt kann man auch bei schlechtem Wetter draußen sitzen. Das Essen war ausgesprochen lecker und reichlich. Für uns gab es nix zu meckern:-)
