Highly recommended! Great view! No traffic noise! ​​Very idyllic location on the lake, right next to the source of the Neckar River! Delicious food! Very friendly staff! Large playground nearby! Large duck population! Good value for money!

The waiters don't care how many guests they serve; they get paid their hourly wages anyway. Therefore, they're too lazy to take care of additional tables. Our family arrived at 6 p.m. Several tables were occupied, and the rest were packed. The wooden tables had reserved tables, even though we'd been playing on the playground for an hour and they were empty. When we asked if we could help set up a table or sit at an empty one, they refused.

No, I definitely don't recommend this restaurant. The owner is very unfriendly, yells at the customers, followed us and yelled at us afterward. We suspect he was drunk. The restaurant and the outside area are filthy.

The toilets are awful! Absolutely filthy. There are a lot of retirees there. Considering that this is a hut run by the Alpine Club and run by them, meaning there are no rent fees and minimal staff costs, it's quite expensive! In general, cleanliness isn't a must there...in all areas! Let's not even start on the friendliness of the staff... Conclusion: Not recommended!

During our visit, the owner was completely drunk and couldn't remember the orders. Some guests pointed out errors in the order to him, who denied everything, and ultimately called the police to resolve the situation. We were at the property with two children and weren't served or greeted even after 30 minutes. We cut our visit short and went to another restaurant.

We were in this very nice restaurant here in Villingen/Schwenningen around lunchtime. We sat down and I went straight to the ladies' place!!! What I saw was shocking... I've never seen such a dirty sanitary facility!!! Never… In any country we have ever visited…. Absolutely terrible 🤢 I brought it up in a calm and polite tone. As a punishment we weren't given anything to drink. Guests who came after us were served, we were not. I hope for a check! It's a shame, such a great location is run so carelessly!

Very unfriendly. I got the wrong food and instead of apologizing, the boss rudely asked me what she should do with the food. Then just brought the wrong thing again... The cleanliness of the toilets also leaves something to be desired. Very unfortunate...

We didn't eat there, but simply used it as a beer garden on hot days. Lovely, peaceful ambiance and always worth a visit.

Very nice employees. Our son ate ice cream here with the class and left his wallet behind. The school was informed on the same day using the student ID card. And the school informed us straight away. We were so happy and grateful that we didn't have to reapply for bus tickets etc. Thank you very much for your effort! And the kids really enjoyed the ice cream too!

I like this place. Very friendly staff, really nice boss. I often take a coffee break there. There is a small selection of food. Coffee and cake. And all kinds of other drinks. Is beautifully located in a park by a water lily pond. The Neckar spring can be seen next to it. And there is a nice playground in the park. Of course there is also ice cream in the bivouac box. I like it very much ❤️

Great idyllic place in the middle of Schwenningen. Located directly on a lake and surrounded by greenery, this is the ideal place for walkers, hikers, tourists, locals and cyclists to take a break and drink a cold beer or something else. The waitresses are very friendly and quick and the currywurst with fries is recommended.

Nice location. Unfortunately the café is just so-so. We would also have been happy with oat milk. Slight irritation: A sign with "Do not hug" hangs in the winter garden ;-)

Leider war die Sonne schon weg, trotzdem schön ruhig, an der Neckar Quelle, trotz Feierabend noch etwas zu Essen bekommen und ein Bierchen. Gemütliches Ambiente in freien!

Schön gelegen bei der Möglingshöhe... Ideal beim spazieren zum einkehren und verweilen mit reichhaltigen Anbot... Super Personal, guter Service... Paar Meter weiter ein grossen Spielplatz für die Kinder

Ein toller Platz um in der Sonne einen Cappuccino, Aperol etc zu geniessen. Direkt in Sichtweite ist ein riesen Spielplatz, die Kinder können rennen ohne Gefahr vor Autos.

Und, weil Alpenvereinsmitglied, gab's einen Enzian, einen wirklichen, extra.

Netter, kleiner Kiosk mit sehr kinderfreundlichen Bedienung

Schneller und sehr freundlicher Service; schöner Ausblick. Nur die im Park und der Umgebung überall herumliegenden Kippen/Zigarettenfilter trüben den Besuch im Neckarpark ziemlich. In der offenen Lagerfeuer- Grillstelle der Biwakschachtel liegen hunderte Zigarettenkippen. Keine gute Idee die zu verbrennen mitsamt deren Cadmium, Blei, Arsen und anderen Giftstoffen die dabei in die Luft steigen. Schön aussehen tut das auch nicht.

Sehr schön an der Neckarquelle gelegen, mit tollem Ausblick auf den Park und den See.

Schöner 0rt für eine Pause. Guter Imbiss und sehr freundliche Bedienung.

netter Biergarten, Essen wurde "vergessen"

Schön im Grünen sitzen, ohne Autobelästigung, bei frrundlichem Service mit ordentlicher Bierauswahl. Und wenn der Deutsche Alpenverein daran noch verdient, umso besser...

Die Biwackschachtel hat ein nettes ansprechendes Ambiente mit ❤licher Bewirtung. Und für einen Spaziergang hat man dann auch noch die Möglichkeit, da sich diese inmitten eines kleinen Parks befindet. Einfach genial 😊❤

Draußen schön zum sitzen. Grillwurst mit Pommes und Hot Dog kann man essen sind aber nicht besonders.

Wir finden es in der Biwakschachtel immer sehr gemütlich und Unterhaltsam . Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und sehr freundlich und das Essen ist, egal was man bestellt, sehr gut . Ihr bekommt von uns auf jeden Fall 5 dicke Sterne. Wir werden Euch jederzeit Weiterempfehlen .

Gut zum mal kurz ein Bier draußen trinken, freundliches Personal das sich auch sehr nett und fürsorglich um nervige Kinder die rumplärren kümmern,😁👍

Naja, vielleicht sollte man die verdorrten Kübelpflanzen mal ersetzen. Der Eingang ist die Visitenkarte des Hauses.😩

Nett zu sitzen und allemal gut für eine anständige Portion Currywurst. Schöne Parkanlage am Neckarquell Ursprung. Der Kinderspielplatz nebenan sorgt für eine Option zum auspowern für die kleinen

Freitags ab 17.00 Uhr kann man dort Schach spielen.✔️😀

Es ist gut um Eis zu holen aber die Mitarbeiter stinken ziehmlich und sind meistens unfreundlich no Front sonst ok. Ich mag die Rentner die da immer sitzen
