Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen, gemütlichen Abend mit leckerem Essen. Die Bedienung und der Service waren sehr nett aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Preislich bewegt es sich in einem auf jeden Fall angemessenen Rahmen.

Ein sehr angenehmes Restaurant mit offener Küche, in dem man sich dennoch ungestört unterhalten kann. Das Vier-Gänge-Menü bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas, darunter Fleisch-, Fisch- und vegetarische Gerichte. Ich habe außerdem eine Laktoseintoleranz, und das Personal war unglaublich aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Sie haben sich sehr bemüht, die Gerichte an meine Bedürfnisse anzupassen, wofür ich ihnen sehr dankbar bin. Ich kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen und werde es auf jeden Fall wieder besuchen.

Aufgrund der vielen positiven Bewertungen hatten wir uns auf einen schönen Abend mit Freunden gefreut, wurden jedoch enttäuscht. In den ersten 20 Minuten hat sich leider niemand um uns gekümmert, was zu sehr langen Wartezeiten führte. Die Suppe und der Salat (der leider schon zusammengefallen in einer großen Schüssel für alle serviert wurde) waren recht einfach gehalten. Das Fleisch empfanden wir für das Preisniveau als zu teuer.Der Service wirkte an diesem Abend leider unaufmerksam und distanziert. Zudem wurde ein alkoholfreies Bier mit einem normalen Bier verwechselt. Bei der sehr überschaubaren Karte ohne Änderungsmöglichkeiten sollte jedes Gericht überzeugen – das war hier für uns leider nicht der Fall. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat für uns nicht gepasst.

Wir hatten einen richtig tollen Abend mit einem 4-Gang Menü und dazu passender Weinbegleitung. Ambiente, Service und Küche war eine 10/10. Kommen definitiv wieder.

Wurden zu Beginn erstmal vergessen,bis wir uns gemeldet haben. Dann wurde Bier auf die Handtasche geschüttet ohne sich zu entschuldigen. Das Essen war leider diesmal eine große Enttäuschung ( davor war es super). Wahrscheinlich weil zu viele Leute da waren

Schade. Es gibt wenig vergleichbares in der Gegend; hoffentlich war heute ein aussetzer. Ungelernter, unaufmerksamer service und wartezeiten +30 minuten zwischen den gängen sind zu lange. Zwei gänge waren zu salzig bis versalzen. Sorry, bei den preisen (bisher immer angemessen relativ zur Qualität) diesmal leider deutlich zu wenig.

Insgesamt ein unangenehmer Abend. Man kann dort nur ein gesamtes Menü bestellen. Nach unfreundlicher Konversation machte man eine Ausnahme und berechnete einen pauschalen Preis für ein Hauptgericht . Egal ob vegetarisch oder mit Fleisch. Meiner Freundin hat es geschmeckt, mein Essen war leider so sehr versalzen, dass es ungenießbar war. Beim Hinweis darauf wurde mir durch die Blume gesagt, dass es halt so ist und mehr nicht. Insgesamt mehr Schein als Sein.

Schönes, gehobenes Lokal in einem alten Bahnhof mit offener Küche . Es gibt nur ein Abend- Menü (4 Gänge und neu auch 7-Gänge) mit Hauptgang als Fleisch- , Fisch oder Vegetarische Variante. Auch neu ist die Weinbegleitung zu einem fairen Preis mit tollen regionalen Weinen. Das aktuelle Menü kann man am besten auf der Bistronauten Facebook Seite anschauen .

Ehrlich gesagt war es das erste Mal, dass wir mit meiner Frau dort waren. Wir sind um 18 Uhr hingegangen und bis 22:30 Uhr geblieben. Das Konzept hat uns sehr gefallen. Wir haben uns keine Minute gelangweilt und gar nicht gemerkt, wie schnell die Zeit vergangen ist. Das Essen war hervorragend. Es gibt jeden Tag ein anderes Menü. Man bekommt zunächst ein Standardmenü vorgestellt und kann dann zwischen Hähnchen, Fisch oder einer vegetarischen Variante wählen. Natürlich ist das Menü nicht jeden Tag gleich je nachdem, was an diesem Tag angeboten wird und welche Geschmacksrichtungen einen überraschen, entsteht das Menü. Genau das ist das Konzept. Die Weine sind ausgezeichnet und die Weinexperten kennen sich wirklich sehr gut aus. Nach jedem Gang erklären sie außerdem, wie das Gericht zubereitet wurde. Das hat uns ebenfalls sehr gefallen. Und wie gesagt: Besonders das Ambiente ist wunderschön. Es läuft tolle Musik und die Gerichte schmecken unglaublich gut. Ich denke, dass man hier wirklich zufrieden sein wird wir waren es auf jeden Fall. Die Käseplatte am Ende hat mich allerdings etwas überrascht. Ich dachte zuerst, es würde sich um ein Dessert handeln vielleicht so etwas wie ein Cheesecake, weil Käse enthalten ist. Darauf sollte man beim Dessert vielleicht achten: Wenn man „Käse" auswählt, bekommt man eine Käseplatte serviert. Das Menü endet dadurch eher herzhaft als süß. Das hat mich etwas überrascht. Die Suppe war unglaublich lecker. Da gerade Spargelsaison ist, war in fast jedem Gericht Spargel enthalten wirklich fantastische Aromen. Alles wird dort selbst gemacht: sogar das Brot und das Eingelegte. Der Service war ebenfalls ausgezeichnet. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich, herzlich und schaffen eine Atmosphäre, in der man sich wohlfühlt. Die Speisen werden langsam und entspannt serviert es ist kein Ort nach dem Motto „schnell essen und wieder gehen". Man genießt das Essen, unterhält sich, und nach einer gewissen Zeit kommt der nächste Gang. Und dort wird man sehr oft hören: „Ein Gruß aus der Küche" und auch: „Liebe Grüße aus der Küche." Während man auf das Essen wartet, kommen kleine Überraschungen aus der Küche besondere Kleinigkeiten oder kleine Desserts. Wir haben auch viel Salat gegessen, und man fragte uns sogar, ob wir noch mehr möchten. Das fanden wir ebenfalls sehr schön. Das Besondere an diesem Konzept sind genau diese kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten aus der Küche. Man erwartet sie nicht, und plötzlich kommen kleine Überraschungen. Das macht das Erlebnis noch schöner. Wir hatten eine wirklich schöne Zeit und bedanken uns herzlich. Wenn Sie hingehen möchten, sollten Sie unbedingt reservieren und vorher die Bewertungen lesen. Sie werden sicherlich zufrieden sein. Das Menü ist, wie gesagt, jedes Mal eine Überraschung und immer unterschiedlich. Aber man wird es definitiv nicht bereuen und eine schöne Zeit haben. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team. Wir haben einen wunderbaren Service erlebt. Wir waren dort, um meinen Geburtstag zu feiern, und es wurde ein wirklich besonderer Tag für uns.

Innovative Karte mit frischen, meist lokalen Zutaten. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Weinbegleitung, die wir zu den verschiedenen Gängen dazubestellt hatten, war auch toll und sehr abwechslungsreich. Vom Ambiente her ist es etwas gehoben, aber dennoch bodenständig. Wir haben uns auch aufgrund des freundlichen und sehr aufmerksamen Service rundum wohlgefühlt.

Super Konzept und hervorragendes Essen mit Weinbegleitung! Im vorderen Teil des Restaurants 5 Sterne Ambiente, hinten etwas weniger gemütlich.

Es ist schon wundervoll, was mal aus dem einstigen Bahnhofsgebäude wurde. Nun ist dort das Bistronauten beheimatet. Ein Restaurant mit offener Küche. Schöne, ruhige Tische im hinteren Kaminzimmer. Ihre Speisekarte ist ein Menü auf Tafel geschrieben. Dazu gibt es Wasser inklusiv. Sie haben eine zu große Karte für Flaschenweine, dafür lediglich 5 offene Weine. Auch gibt es eine gute Auswahl an Cocktails und alkoholfreien Getränken. Das Essen ist ein Gedicht. Derzeit gibt es eine Karottensuppe und im Hauptgang Zander und Wildschweingulasch. Das Fleisch super zart und die Beilagen wunderbar abgestimmt. Der Zander hatte eine vorzügliche Senfsosse. Die Bedienungen sind sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und auch für einen Spaß zu haben. Sie erklären die Gänge und beraten bei den Getränken. Preislich ist es angemessen und fair.

We've been to Bistronauten several times, and it's always a great experience: great food, a harmonious ambiance, very friendly and attentive service, and reasonable prices. The wine pairings have always been excellent. We're already looking forward to our next visit, and that will definitely be soon.

We loved to be here but the outside area is very close to the street and you smell the cars going by. We had a 4 course mail with wife but only liked the desert. The cold soup was ok the beard was very hard and we had only butter to put on it. the main course was a little piece of lamb and considering the prices it could have been a bigger portion. So some improvements: The soup was ok The salade was horrible could have been straight from a Rewe so please put some small tomatoes with it and bit crunch and not a bowl for 2 persons but separate on a plate. main course : A bit more meat and veggie would make it perfect. Price drop it with 20% its really to high for what you get!

Positive: The food is well-made and delicious! Unfortunately, the negatives are: - Open kitchen with the extractor turned off = clothes smell - Kitchen staff squeezing a pimple on their arm – and everyone can see it - Tables seem to be assigned based on frequency of visit. If you're a first-timer, you're more likely to sit in front of the reception counter among arriving guests, including their buttocks in your face (see picture) - People say you can't stand tomatoes, but the main course comes garnished with five cherry tomatoes on tomato wedges - The salad is sour as hell; less vinegar would be better - It's quite loud, so a pleasant evening for two with intimate conversation is unfortunately not possible here. - The concept attracts many baby boomers (>80% of guests) from the region, including regulars. The only things that are hip and young are the location and the staff's short jeans. In summary: Around €160 for four courses is unfortunately a bit too much. Sorry, even the good dessert and friendly service don't make up for it. That's an honest and fair review; we'll see how it's received.

All expectations met: excellent food, interesting concept, perfect and friendly service, nice location. [It would probably be even more fun without the heat wave that day, but that's not their fault...]

We dined at Bistronauten on July 30 and had a fantastic evening. The food was delicious, the menu well constructed, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere perfectly attuned to the meal. Two special notes: 1) they accommodated our pram/stroller without hesitation and with kindness and 2) the pacing was perfect - my partner could not believe we how long we had been there when we finished the meal because there was never too long of a break and never a rush between courses. It was a well orchestrated meal that we recommended to friends and to which we hope to return. While I was glad to enjoy the food without taking photos, I wish I had taken a few to include for this review.

It's truly a delicious experience. The service couldn't have been better. The intervals between the different courses were perfect. I'll definitely be back.

Top restaurant with great service!

Yesterday (May 31, 2025), four of us went to the Bistronauts. Unfortunately, our visit was disappointing. The service was mediocre. The waitresses were annoyed, listless, and unfriendly. An absolute no-go, however, was a maggot in my salad!!! That's bad enough and certainly unacceptable in such an expensive restaurant. But what happened next surpassed everything! When I showed the maggot to the waitress, the only response was, "I'll be right with you." He came and said NOTHING! No reaction, no accommodation, no apology!!! That's unacceptable! Sorry, but in a situation like that, you don't react with silence and ignorance! The entire stay, I thought some kind of apology would come. All I got was a hefty bill of over €300. The maggot was completely ignored! I never write reviews, but now I just had to. Sorry, Bistronauts, that was just bad!

Für mich einer der schönsten Plätze auf dem Heimweg von der Werkstatt. Meistens komme ich gegen 22:00 Uhr kurz mit dem Hund rein auf ein Getränk. Ich liebe die entspannte Atmosphäre und die offene Zuwendung der Menschen, die hier arbeiten. Zum Feierabend hin finden die Vorbereitung für den nächsten Tag statt, man bekommt immer etwas zu essen und einen Drink angeboten. Weinheim ist eine Perle an der Bergstraße, mit vielen Gastr,schönheiten vom Marktplatz bis zur Burg. Die Bistronauten sind ein Geschenk für jeden, der gutes Essen und feine Getränke liebt.

Great food, great service, great experience! Here, the food is cooked in front of the guests. A set menu is served. The main course is chosen from three dishes (fish, meat, or vegetarian). Two starters are pre-selected. For dessert, you can choose between sweet and cheese. Reservations required.

Absolutely something special – great flavor creations, excellent service, simply convincing, even if the small menu with 2-3 set meals to choose from isn't necessarily for everyone, but the freshness and the unusual taste experience combined with the exceptional listening experience definitely make me want to try the chef's delicacies again...😄 I would love to give it 5 stars, but since the main course wasn't quite to my taste, I'm unfortunately deducting a small star here. After all, there has to be some room for improvement on the next visit...😉😇

Very nice atmosphere, there is a 4-course menu, with choices (meat, fish, vegetarian) in the main course. We added a wine accompaniment, and it was nice that there was a short explanation of the different wines.

The three of us had dinner there on a Saturday evening and it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Perfect house aperitif, easy to put together the menu and nice wine list. A more than attentive service, delicious dishes, in short: we felt more than comfortable! If you want to find a small fly in the ointment, then you can point out that it is of course a little louder when the house is full, but it's better that way than dead quiet...

Highly recommended. The restaurant is in the old train station building...great. Great brick inside. Very nicely and comfortably furnished. Pleasantly lit. The employees are nice, friendly. You feel really comfortable. Music comes from the record player. Oh yes... the food... is very good. From the amuse-gueule, to the soup, main course, to dessert. I like to eat meat, but the vegetarian main course with falafel, savoy cabbage, carrots and nuts was amazing 🔨

Great cuisine with local products. Fixed menu sequence with one option to choose the main course (meat, fish, vegetarian). The menu changes approximately every 4-6 weeks. It is therefore definitely worth visiting several times.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable and successful evening. The menu was very tasty. Service and ambience were also very good. And for what is offered, I think the prices are more than okay. We will definitely come back.

An absolute culinary highlight on the Bergstrasse! Everything is just right here (unless you need service staff in suits and white tablecloths 😉). Each of the 4 courses was served at an appropriate interval, the service staff were competent, very attentive and quick when ordering (re-)ordering the drinks and being able to watch the chefs cooking was very interesting! The individual courses were heavenly delicious - a restaurant with a well-deserved Michelin Guide recommendation!

First of all, it is a beautiful location, warm, wood, the toilets are also suitable and harmonious. The fact that you get free water is an absolute highlight. Likewise the seasonal and sustainable cuisine. There is a delicious amuse gueule and an extra appetizer from the kitchen before dessert. Of course it's all about culinary delight, but a little more portion would have been good. We were very surprised by the carelessly presented cheese selection in comparison. The service was very attentive and extremely friendly. What irritated us was where you can officially park, it's a bit unclear.

We visited the Bistronauts for the second time this year just before Christmas. The prices are quite high, there is no need to discuss it. However, every time we receive excellent hospitality, the food is excellent and, as always, we had a great evening. Highly recommended for a special occasion!

Auch "eifrige" Restaurantbesucher können doch immer noch etwas Neues kennen- und schätzen lernen... Freunde hatten uns zu den "Bistronauten" eingeladen, die es wohl schon länger als 10 Jahre gibt, uns Vieren jedoch bisher entgangen waren. Das Ambiente gefiel uns allen auf Anhieb - das wunderschön restaurierte Gebäude, der Ausstattungsmix aus Industriestil und altem Bahnhofsfundus, die offene Küche... Der locker-professionelle und freundliche Service erklärte uns das Menü-Konzept: Suppe, gemeinsame Salatschüssel für alle, Wahl zwischen Fisch/Fleisch/Vegetarisch und Wahl zwischen süßem Dessert und Rohmilchkäse. Für alle, die beim Essen nicht überrascht werden möchten, hier der Hinweis, dass die jeweils aktuelle Karte z.B. auf FB einsehbar ist. Wir entschieden uns beim Hauptgericht für das Hällische Eichelmastschwein und die Odenwälder Lachsforelle, beides mit interessanten Beilagen kombiniert und sehr lecker. Dazu ein Weißburgunder aus der regional orientierten Weinkarte... Wasser wird kostenlos serviert. Das Restaurant war gut besucht. Eine Reservierung ist also mit Sicherheit angebracht. Parkplätze gibt es vor der Tür. Aber da wir während des Essens das Kommen und "Gehen" der OEG beobachten konnten (keinesfalls störend), denken wir für den nächsten Besuch tatsächlich über eine Anreise per Bahn nach.

Great menu and a very relaxed atmosphere with friendly service.

No tablecloths outside, good portions with a long wait in between, new cutlery not a given, a main course wow with fish, the table changes every two weeks, no vegan alternatives, but always a vegetarian dish. Nice people, but for a restaurant with one star I don't expect any metal tables outside on which the cutlery is placed without a surface. The cocktail was not professional, the wine recommendations were meager and not very suitable, not coordinated with the menu - but overall a decent price-performance ratio.

We had an absolutely fantastic dinner here. The food was delicious, the service was very welcoming and friendly and we loved the farm to table concept. One menu with 3 mains to choose from is all you need - quality over quantity. Value for money ratio was also very good. Altogether an outstanding experience, absolutely worth it! The spots next to the open kitchen were a highlight.

The food is simply fantastic! The regional but regularly changing menu invites you to come back. We were there for the third time and have always been thrilled with the food and the great service!

Despite the concept with a choice of no more than 3 main courses, which still takes some getting used to even after years, the quality of the dishes is always excellent and the service is unobtrusive and competent.

Nice atmosphere in an old train station building. Service top. The advice at the table was comprehensive and very competent. Here the guest is a guest who we take great care of. The culinary concept impresses with freshly prepared dishes, all of which stand out positively from the "usual home cooking" and come fresh on the plate. It's nice that the dishes are prepared "transparently" in the open kitchen, you can sit at the pass, a truly entertaining experience Pleasure. It's nice that there are still restaurants like this.

Extremely good food and very friendly service. The concept is that there is only one menu, but the main course can be varied. Alternatively, you can have all the main courses in small portions (gourmet menu), which is what we did. Unfortunately we couldn't try the wine pairing because we were there by car. Totally recommended!

You can't judge the food across the board as there is a new menu every day in the restaurant. Water was offered free of charge with meals. In our case there were a lot of pickled vegetables. We expected more for the price.

An meinen Geburtstag wollte ich meine Familie zum Essen zu den Bistronauten einladen. Als ich frühzeitig für 8 Personen reservieren wollte, wurden wir eher zu Problem als zum erwünschten Gästen. Als wir uns mit den schlechtesten Plätzen zufrieden gegeben haben, wurde auch noch verlangt, dass alle acht Personen, das volle Menü zu essen hätten. Jetzt war dann das Maß voll. Nie wieder Bistronauten. Wir hätten den Umsatz eh mit den Getränken hoch gehalten.

The food was very tasty. The on-site service was also excellent. The service beforehand was a bit strange. When I called a week in advance and wanted to make a reservation, there were no more free places, but there was an existing waiting list that I could have been added to. When my wife called just an hour later and wanted to make a reservation for the same day, there was a place available for us because someone had canceled. That may well have been the case, but whether enough people drop out within an hour so that the waiting list can be satisfied and new reservations can even be accepted seems at least a little strange. The ambience is ok and, as always, a matter of taste. For me it's not so well-rounded, I'm missing a clear line whether you want to create an upscale restaurant or an atmosphere like in your own living room. My wife, on the other hand, thought it was great.

Excellent!! The food was incredibly tasty and the staff was noticeably friendly. The atmosphere was extremely relaxed, despite the restaurant being full. I can highly recommend it!!

Absolutely inconspicuous from the outside. Inside, it's stylish and really nicely furnished, great, extraordinary ambience in which you immediately feel at home. The staff is friendly and competent without being intrusive. As a guest you can choose between 3 well-thought-out and well-designed 4-course menus: meat, fish or vegetarian, which change every 2 weeks. There is also a nice wine list. We'd love to come back.

The restaurant in the historic train station building is a real gem in the gastronomy scene. As soon as you enter, you are impressed by the elegant furnishings, which combine the charm of the old building with modern design. Particularly noteworthy is the impressive washbasin made from a single solid stone, which is an eye-catcher. The commitment to sustainability is evident in small details such as individual towels instead of paper towels - a commendable initiative that encourages environmentally conscious behavior. A special highlight is the open kitchen, where you can watch the chefs preparing the dishes. This gives the restaurant a lively atmosphere and an authentic experience. The staff is consistently attentive and courteous. The waiters are not only friendly, but also competent and were able to give us excellent advice. Particularly positive is the attentive wine accompaniment, where refills were always served at the right moment. The dining experience was consistently impressive. The dishes were all “on point”, from the starter to the dessert. The sourdough bread was the best I've had in a long time and the flavors of the dishes were perfectly seasoned. The food was served at the right intervals so you could take your time to enjoy every bite. The cutlery also felt elegant and rounded off the overall experience. The emphasis on local and regional cuisine gives the restaurant an additional touch and underlines the commitment to quality and freshness. All in all, the restaurant is a place for special occasions where every detail is right. If you're willing to spend a little more for a first-class dining experience, this is the place for you. A visit will be worth it in any case!

Great concept, very good food, interesting wine list, great service. Was a lot of fun!

The food is delicious every time! The selection of dishes made from regional ingredients is small but very fine. The food tastes really good and the woodruff lemonade alone is a strong reason to come here if you like woodruff! The service is super attentive, we just found the times between courses to be a bit long at times - but that may also be because the restaurant is usually very busy. We will definitely come back again - in my opinion the best restaurant in Weinheim for a more upscale meal.

The restaurant impresses with regional, seasonal dishes and the fresh preparation of the dishes. This was evident from the fact that due to a food intolerance, the chef was able to serve all of the dishes on the menu in an adapted manner. Every course and the greetings from the kitchen were great! Also super friendly service and friendly owner! 10 out of 10 - keep it up!

Super tasty, everyone was very friendly and a really nice experience. The concept is just great and people are happy to try out new dishes or dishes. You have to bring some money with you but it's definitely worth it!

We have had the opportunity to dine, drink and have a great time in your beautiful restaurant several times. Simply unique for us in our home region: great culinary, regional concept with an all-round feel-good atmosphere :) Will stay with us for a long time!
