Bistro Struwelpeter in Bad Soden-Salmünster

I discovered the bistro while strolling through the old town and thought I would go there for a meal at the end of my rehab. Since the kitchen closes at 8 p.m. on Sundays and I was in the thermal baths for too long, I quickly called to pre-order a cream schnitzel so that I didn't order it at the last minute. The nice voice on the phone then said “Unfortunately cream schnitzel is already out, but I can still offer mushroom cream schnitzel, onion schnitzel or a Viennese style schnitzel”. I then decided on the mushroom cream schnitzel and as it turned out in the end, it was a very good choice. The bistro itself is a blast, small (thanks to the “regulars’ table group” it’s a bit “happy” at times, but there’s a great atmosphere) & just really cozy. I was warmly welcomed by the other guests, as well as by the friendly waitress behind the counter, and I was literally looking forward to my meal. The binding “Radler” also had something, but the mushroom cream schnitzel topped everything, my God it was delicious. Good salad, okay the fries could have been a little more, but the schnitzel itself was just awesome! The atmosphere in the small but nice bistro and the always good-humored service are great. Keep it up! If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely come by again to have a schnitzel. P.S. Sorry for the photo, but I had to try a good piece of the schnitzel first and enjoy it thoroughly :-))

Authentic brown café. Not hip, not trendy. If you are looking for a brown café to talk to locals, then this is the place for you. Football on TV. We ordered a meat skewer and half a chicken. Don't expect a star-studded dinner. Expect excellent food with plenty of meat, tasty fries and delicious sauce. Delicious food. Can recommend it to anyone who wants something to drink and eat.

It was the last day of 2023 and I was able to spend it with friends at Struwelpeter in a convivial atmosphere with good music and delicious food. I wish the team all the best for the future and look forward to seeing you again soon

I'm here for rehab, a small, cozy pub. The host is unbeatable, the service is very friendly, always has a relaxed attitude, the food is absolutely unbeatable. I have rarely eaten as good a meal in recent years as I did at Struwelpeter In the end all that remains is to say thank you for your hospitality and your full *****

Keines, gemütliches Lokal wo man Dart spielen kann und wo man, wenn man möchte, auch Sportsendungen ansehen kann.

Ich habe hier in diesem Bistro meinen Geburtstag gefeiert und dieser Abend war ein voller Erfolg. Alle Gäste waren erstaunt, was in diesem unscheinbaren Bistro möglich ist. Tolle Deko, super Essen und tolles Personal alle waren begeistert. Selbst der Gourmet aus Frankreich war volles Lobes. Einfach spitze 👍👍
