Bistro Henry - DRK-Landesverband Westfalen-Lippe e.V. in Münster

Our first visit to Münster was at Mono. The atmosphere is cozy but not stuffy. Goethe on the wall, hostess Stefanie behind and in front of the bar, friendly faces at the tables. And the background music isn't intrusive. You feel at home here, whether you're listening to mono or stereo. The wines are well-stocked, and the local spirits selection is very well-curated. We'd love to come back to Münster and Mono.

We went to the Peruvian restaurant on the Germania Campus for the first time today at lunchtime. Even though we ate there during lunchtime, we had to pay the full price from the menu. 'We should have mentioned it when ordering.' Absolute rip-off, in my opinion. The waitress didn't care that we wouldn't be coming back after such treatment.

A positive aspect is the exceptional friendliness of the staff, both at reception and at breakfast. There is no elevator, so luggage must be carried up the stairs. The rooms (at least ours) have exterior bathrooms with windows, which we found pleasant. The lighting in the rooms can sometimes seem very cold, as some of the bulbs used are cool white. These should be replaced occasionally with warm white bulbs.

The food is always delicious, and the delivery drivers are super friendly. Everyone at the food stand itself is also very friendly! Highly recommended!
