Quaint half-timbered restaurant. Very friendly service. Dogs are welcome. Delicious meat platter this fall: breaded pork schnitzel with fries and a mixed side salad – homemade, just like mom's, delicious.

Nice and cozy, and good food at reasonable prices. I had a roast beef with onions that was cooked to perfection, and my companion had a sausage salad with fried potatoes. The portion was a bit large, but having it wrapped up wasn't a problem. We'll definitely be back.

The food was excellent and really quick. We also passed the beer exam, but you should skip the drinks beforehand and definitely eat something. Luckily, we ordered food early enough.

I was at the Beer Academy yesterday. And that was also the last time. I ordered Maultaschen (swabian ravioli) with potato salad. The potato salad was ice cold, and the potato slices were cut to very different thicknesses. All the potato slices were hard, meaning they were cooked far too briefly and were therefore inedible. I wasn't the only one who thought so. The Maultaschen weren't great either; they simply lacked ground meat, and they were probably very dry for that reason. So I asked a friend for some sauce. When the server asked me about it, I also said the same thing! She said she'd let the kitchen know, and she said it quite rudely. There was no apology, and that wasn't to be expected.

We entered the restaurant and the proprietor approached us, and we immediately felt welcome. The menu isn't huge, yet there's something for everyone. Here, the intention is to do what we do well. The food (sausage salad and roast beef) was excellent and the portions were generous. A true inn, as it should be; we'll be back. Keep up the good work.

I was there today for a birthday party and it was a really good time. The staff was very friendly, the owner was incredibly personable, and the atmosphere was very inviting. I'll be back more often in the future. Thanks for the lovely evening!

Craziness... Just left standing with 20 men Reservations were made 5 days in advance for 20 people for Saturday evening. We arrived at the full restaurant at the sound of the bell and couldn't find a free table. When I asked the boss, yes it was difficult to keep something free for 20 people. Sorry, but what do you reserve for and then confirm? Yes, nothing more was done and the focus went back to making drinks. 20 men were simply left standing and ignored by the new boss himself. It is extremely rude, even towards the older people in our birthday party. We will avoid the store in the future. That's exactly how you ruin the actually comfortable BA. By the way, we were then able to go to the neighbor's Irish. Where everything has been done so that we have a nice evening.

We had reserved for 10 people weeks in advance. The size of the table didn't work out, so we had to build a table ourselves. Our waitress was completely overwhelmed with the drinks and hardly knew the drinks we wanted. By the time the last ones had their drink, the first ones had already ordered more. Then came the order for food, which again caused problems with the reception. When the first dishes finally arrived I was horrified by the small portions. As before, the first ones finished eating until the last ones got their portions. The real hit, the sausage salad, came right at the end, by which time everyone had already finished eating. The only dessert was only available twice. When we wanted to pay, our waitress, after being told several times about payment, preferred to work at another table, so we went to the counter ourselves to pay there. I was informed that the kitchen was not informed about the reservation of an incredible number of 10 people and that the food was therefore partly served in smaller portions, which was far from being worth the price. All in all, totally unprofessional and a complete disaster. We then went out for pizza afterwards.

Were at the beer academy on September 27th, 2024. The ambience is very nice and unusual, but that's almost it. The waitress was friendly, but didn't really care about us because she didn't show up after serving the food. Well, then there was only one drink the whole evening. The food was good, but the portion was more like a children's plate and took a relatively long time to prepare. It's a shame if you don't leave the table full. Don't know if we would come by again...

Last night I went out for dinner and drinks. The waitress Anna was so attentive and friendly. will definitely come back

Waited over an hour for a manhole plate. When we asked the waitress about it, she said that they make everything fresh and that takes time. If we don't like that, we should go to McDonald's. We found it very unfriendly, almost cheeky. Mashed potatoes, sauerkraut and blood or liver sausages just need to be kept warm in the pot. We cannot recommend this restaurant.

Für den genüsslichen Biertrinker der perfekte Laden. Der Name in der Bierakademie ist Programm. Zudem sind die Speisen sehr genüsslich. Kann ich jedem empfehlen der ein lockeres Helles trinken will und in einer schönen Ambiente verweilen will.

Immer wieder gut. Als Professor der früheren Berufsakademie abends mit Kollegen in die Bierakademie. Fast schon ein Ritual. Absolut faire Preise, viele Biere und super leckeres Essen.

Das Essen war lauwarm, die Bratwürste im Kern noch leicht roh. Als ich mit Karte bezahlen wollte, hat mir der Wirt, labidar zu verstehen gegeben, dass draußen an der Tür "nur Barzahlung " steht. Als ich dann bezahlt hatte, habe ich dann noch gratis eine Belehrung über Kartenzahlung erhalten und deren Folgen. Vielen Dank, lieber Wirt, für deine freundliche und hilfsbereite Art und Weise. Da kommt man gerne wieder.
