We celebrated with over 50 people and had a great time. Friendly staff, good food, and they were also happy to accommodate special requests. Restroom visits turned into a fairytale hour 😄 See you next time...

Thank you for my lovely birthday evening!!!! Saw it on TV and thought: let's try it out for the next family celebration... No sooner said than done: I wanted to order a table for 11 on a Friday evening and called. The super nice person we spoke to immediately pointed out that the kitchen would be very busy at the requested time and that he didn't want to overload his employees. Could we come half an hour earlier and then order straight away? 1. Thank you for taking care of your employees! 2. Great communication! All family members were informed that if anyone was coming later, they would like to choose their order - it worked great! Food and drinks came just-in-time, and someone was always available to take re-orders. We were completely thrilled, the family was happy and will definitely visit there individually! Oh well: the food tasted very good, the drinks menu was great (there was Kilkenny Red Ale😍) and the service staff were very attentive and just great! Price-performance - great!

We haven't eaten anything yet, but when we spontaneously come to play pool, everyone is very nice.

We have never been there before. I was looking for a place that appealed to me using Google Maps. I liked Bi Ba Bo, the possibilities and the old train station. When we came in it was very nice. Service totally relaxed and very approachable. Food (schnitzel dishes) were very tasty. Plenty of portion for me. Price performance is okay. What I didn't know from a local one was the audio book in the toilet room 😊

We came here spontaneously in the evening. We immediately noticed the super friendly staff. You can really tell that everyone enjoys their job. When we ate we were surprised again. I wouldn't have expected that here. Super beautifully prepared and extremely tasty! A huge recommendation! You have to eat here! Thanks to you. We enjoyed being your guests and would love to come back.

If you like schnitzel, you have to go to BiBaBo. Cool location in an old train station building. In addition to delicious food, there is also billiards and a beautiful outdoor area in summer. The staff is super nice and is happy to fulfill a special request just before the kitchen closes.

We still had some time to kill before a concert in Täubchenthal and actually had two other bars in our sights, but they only opened at 6 p.m. when we came across this gem. The old station building doesn't look like much on the outside, but the charm is palpable inside. We were greeted with a quick saying on our lips. Drinks were quickly available and food could be ordered. The glass of Jägermeister was clearly well filled above the egg level and the second one as well, so it couldn't have been a coincidence. That alone gets full service points. As smokers, we were also pleased that the middle area could be used for this without having to go out the door and the exhaust was really good because you didn't notice that the smoke sticks were destined to go to waste here. We decided on schnitzel and a bowl with topping. Both were incredibly tasty and in comparison we deducted 1 point from the overall rating because both were almost the same price and that seemed unreasonable for a bowl. Nevertheless, highly recommended and we will still come back.

Bombastic food and great drinks. We had to wait an hour, but for a normal Tuesday during the week it was unusually busy, so that was understandable for us. We were super surprised and say, gladly again!!!

Good food at reasonable prices and great service. You notice that you are sitting in a former train station hall, but there is plenty of space. Reservations are recommended, especially on Schnitzel Day (Wednesday), when all schnitzel dishes are available at a great price.

Yesterday the first stop for the three of us. Quaint restaurant with no frills, food was delicious (3 different schnitzel dishes) without a long wait, prices were completely okay in our opinion. We'll be back.

I have to be honest and say that I had a hard time coming up with an adequate rating. But the 2 stars mainly refer to the antiquated menu. For a moment I felt like I was in the movie “Back to the Future”. How can it be that in this day and age of sustainability and animal welfare, a restaurant charges an extra charge of almost €3 for a vegetarian option? Vegan? None. In addition, the prices are not exactly low either. Sorry, but that's almost bold and doesn't make sense to me. In short, the shop is NOT for vegetarians or even vegans. The pool offer is nice, as is the charm of the hall itself, but we won't be coming back, but there are better ways to waste your money (especially in Plagwitz).

A very nice and authentic atmosphere in the heart of Plagwitz. It's a miracle that there are still train station restaurants in these times, but something so pretty is unique. We were guests in a large group and ordered once across the menu and it was all very tasty. My conclusion for this very attractive location couldn't be better. If you're ever in the area, you definitely have to take a trip to BiBaBo!

Everything was great except for the service

We reserved a table online for Friday evening and asked in the notes for a spot near the pool table. However, when we arrived our table was placed outside near the children's area where it was quite noisy. The restaurant staff told us that they do not read customer requests left in the online booking system. They said that if we wanted a specific spot we would have to make the reservation by phone. If customer requests cannot be taken into account when making online reservations, it would be better not to offer this option at all. We ended up leaving because the noise in the children's area was too much. Also, for those sensitive to smoke, smoking cigarettes is allowed outside, but not smoking marijuana - which is a shame, as that could whet your appetite and lead to additional orders.

The location is really great. The old train station has become a pub.

Delicious food, you can sit inside and outside. The service is relaxed and friendly, you meet each other at eye level. You can play pool here and be entertained with fairy tales read out loud, even in the otherwise "quiet" little place.

Quaint restaurant where reservations are recommended. The menu shows a variety of schnitzel variants but there is also a small selection of burgers. Service was great, attentive and our wishes were taken into account. Portion size, taste and quality are first class. Gladly again.

The portions are really huge and everything is fresh. I've never eaten a schnitzel like this before...perfectly prepared. The guest is valued and you feel as if you were invited to a friend's house. We were just eating at bibabo. My husband and I are classic schnitzel lovers, no frills, it just has to be delicious. It was - finally a menu where we could have ordered almost everything - classic German cuisine like at muttern :-). Portion was very good and sufficient, price was great for fresh, homemade cuisine. Service girls were quick and friendly despite the hot weather. Absolute recommendation!

After the last soapbox race at Fockeberg on Sunday, August 25th, 2024, I stopped here at BiBaBo. It is a rustic restaurant, in the outdoor area with a view of the platforms for the S-Bahn and regional trains. The chairs are designed for use in the garden. The attached wind sails are pleasant and provide protection against the sun. The staff was very friendly and took care of the guests. A salt and pepper shaker is served with the meal to refine the taste, and ketchup, mayonnaise and other things are also on the table. The pike perch was almost overcooked and the heat of the dish quickly diminished. The schnitzel dishes are preferred.

Deliciously eaten a real German schnitzel. The staff is nice and wants to have a nice chat with you.

Eating spontaneously is absolutely out of place. We were there around 7:15 p.m. and the outdoor space was quite manageable. The young waitress asked if we had reserved. We wanted to end the beautiful evening, but we hadn't made a reservation. I thought the Corona times were behind us, so we spontaneously decided to just go out for dinner. The big thing was the answer from this young waitress. The kitchen is overwhelmed and takes at least 1 hour, which we can then eat in the restaurant. Just enjoying drinks is hopeless. Either they don't need revenue or they can only serve a minimal number of guests. It's just sad. Actually, one star is already too many.

A very nice combination of playing billiards and then having a good meal with the family. There was something for everyone and overall the price/performance ratio was right and we had a great time there.

I was there for the first time yesterday and was absolutely thrilled. An incredibly great atmosphere. You have the opportunity to simply eat something or end the day with a game of billiards/darts. The food was amazing! Fresh, hot, delicious. Extremely recommended. Wednesdays are always schnitzel day there. The waiters are fun for everyone, serve quickly and leave everyone with a smile. However, it should be mentioned that everyone is called by their initials, so you shouldn't be bothered by that. It's best to make a reservation so that you don't go there in vain. Update: I've been there 3 times and everything is still great! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! Go there, try it out. :)

An absolute disappointment despite the apparently good reviews. It was supposed to be a nice family dinner with BiBaBurger from Elbweiderind, but instead it was Schnitzel Day/Wednesday, but we didn't know that. We were given the complete menu, without any indication that there were only schnitzel dishes. Only when we wanted to order did we find out from the waiter that on Wednesday there was only schnitzel, pointing out that this was also on the menu. For us the map clue was not clear. It would make sense at this point to just present the guest with the corresponding sheet for the schnitzel menu on a Wednesday. There was also no peace and quiet while eating because there was a kind of camp next to our table and the constant crowding really bothered us. My shoes were stuck in the remains of some liquid under the table and there were dried food residues in the cracks in the table, which was also unappetizing. In addition, different service staff came to the table, who obviously asked for order requests twice without prior consultation and then brought the wrong drinks to the table. A small 0.2 liter bottle of Cola for 4 euros is a proud price for the Plagwitz train station. In our experience, second place on Kabel 1, "My Local, Your Local" is unrealistic.

We like to go to Bi Ba Bo every now and then, the staff is nice, the food is good and the prices have increased, but are no higher than elsewhere. I usually swap fried potatoes for fries, even if I find the extra charge of €2.50 a bit excessive. On a few visits, the "small stuff" on the fried potatoes was too dark for me and the fried potatoes were overall too salty. On our last visit, however, the fried potatoes looked great, but my fries were still very pale and would have liked to have stayed in the deep fryer a little longer. Overall, we enjoyed it very much and we think it's great that ketchup and mayo are now on the table. Beforehand you always had to ask for it and were then handed 2-3 small plastic bags. Bad for the environment and not enough for the big robber baron schnitzel with fries.

What more could you want as a train fan? There are hardly any good train station bars left in Germany - you have to go to the Czech Republic. Not so in Plagwitz! The BiBaBo offers very good cuisine, many different beers and a train station atmosphere! You can sit completely outside, half outside or inside. But be careful: billiards is also played there! The staff is friendly, drinks and food come quickly. All the dishes we have tried so far have been of good quality, fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. Electronic reservations are recommended on weekends - works perfectly (in the digital no-man's land of Germany).

We have already spent many lovely game evenings, New Year's Eve celebrations, public viewing afternoons,..... there. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly and attentive. Nice location and the service guys are also great. Eating normal, as expected. There is room for improvement in terms of quality vs. asking price. A little lightly seasoned, a few more herbs and it's fine.

Great burgers and schnitzel here in quirky surroundings and lively and relaxed atmosphere. A fair way out of Leipzig centre, so the location is not perfect for visitors to the city but definitely worth the visit.

Nice, rustic restaurant in the old buildings of the Plagwitz train station. Hearty dishes with a small seasonal additional menu. Vegetarian dishes available. If it's full, the meal takes time - but you'll always be informed fairly. Service very friendly.

The BiBaBo is an absolute recommendation for anyone who wants to have a relaxing time in a nice atmosphere. The food is always delicious, the service is great and there is absolutely nothing to complain about.

Food from the "Easter menu" was excellent and at an extremely fair price, I had rack of lamb on a warm salad of oyster mushrooms, snow peas and leaf spinach for a mere 16.90 (I think there was a misprint 26.90 would have been a more realistic price, but I I didn't complain 😉). Service was very friendly and attentive, we never had to wait long for food or drinks. Billiards after eating also helped with digestion. Great change from the standard program of dinner, chat and walking. In the summer when the beer garden is open we come back to test the schnitzel here 😊.

I haven't eaten or had a drink here yet, but the staff were so extremely friendly that I would still like to leave a review! The ambience is really nice and the smell from the kitchen was excellent. I will definitely come back for dinner when I get the chance!

Bi Ba Bo has become one of my favorite restaurants in Leipzig. The atmosphere is very friendly, the food is delicious and you can play billiards. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is largely correct.
